An Engineer's Journey through the Book of Mormon
Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@AnEngineersJourneythruth-xz6bw
The Book of Mormon as seen through the eyes of an engineer (my professional training). This does not mean I focus on engineering aspects of book - although these occasionally surface - but rather, it means that things must make sense, people must behave rationally, and things will usually be what they appear to be.
Although the primary audience will be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (formerly called Mormons), members of other Christian faiths may be interested in exploring as well.
An audience will meet characters such as Nephi, Lehi, Laman, Lemuel, Alma, Helaman, Mormon, Moroni, King Benjamin, Mosiah, and countless others.
An Engineer's Journey through the Book of Mormon
Helaman 7 10. A prophet proves he is real by revealing who murdered the chief judge.
Nephi finds Zarahemla full of wickedness and secret combinations. He warns of destruction if the Nephites don't repent, and prophecies of the coming Messiah. To establish his credibility, he reveals that the chief judge has been murdered, identifies the murder, and reveals how to obtain a confession from the murderer. The people acknowledge the prophecy, but do not change. Nephi is given God's power, and instructed to punish the people for their wickedness. He goes among the people to warn that destruction is imminent if they don't repent.
