Dr Akinsola is a pediatric professor. Join us as we discuss her transition from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria to the United states. She completed her medical school at the University of Ibadan and she desired to practice where she felt she could make a difference with the right resources and so began the process of transition by getting a research position in the Gambia. It was there she took her boards and was able to successfully get a prematch position due to her excellent performance.
