Hello, my name is Stephanie. Welcome to the All Is Well podcast. My mission is to teach people the Word of God and emphasize its importance in their daily lives. I'm glad you decided to join me today. Let's get started.
Speaker 1Welcome to episode 31. Did you know that you can speak life over your situations? And when you do, god will move and your situations will change? In this episode, we are going to learn how to speak over our life and what God requires from us. Let's dive in.
Speaker 1Let's turn on over to our Bibles, to Deuteronomy, chapter 30, verse 19. So it reads I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life that both you and your descendants may live. So let's go back to the middle section. It says here that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life. He already gave us the answer. He says here therefore, choose life.
Speaker 1The words that we speak, the way that we live our life, the things that we're doing, it's either going to produce life, it will produce death. And so when we're meditating on the Word of God, like God requires of us, and we're reading it day and night, then we're going to speak life into our situations. But if we don't implement what's in the Word of God and if we don't read the Word of God on a consistent basis, then how do we know when to speak life into our situations? Because it should be every single day. You shouldn't go a single day without speaking life into your situation, in other words, speaking God's Word into your situation. If I were to speak for my life if it's not one thing, it's another thing I can't believe. I'm always faced with these horrible situations, that I'm always going to be faced with. Those situations because of the words of my mouth have set a trap for my life, and then that's what I receive. I don't let myself speak that way. I let myself speak the words of God, even if I may see it or think it. I don't let myself even speak those words because I know that it can come to pass or it'll start bringing it and then I'll start believing it. I speak God's word. I'll even say thank you, god, for this situation, thank you, god, that you are making things new, that you're working everything out together for my good. And when I do that, I have a different perspective. God begins to move, he begins to intervene and things start to change and move.
Speaker 1So we need to know when to speak the word of God, how to speak the word of God, and also when you are meditating on the word of God and you know the word of God, it's hidden in your heart, it's in there. So whenever you're angry or mad or something starts to come up and you don't know what to do, the word of God will come out of your mouth. But if you don't have it in there, the word of God is not going to come out of your mouth. But if you don't have it in there, the word of God is not going to come out of your mouth. If I am thinking, well, I know construction, or I think I know construction and I'm going to a job site and I've never been to a job site before and I want to make it seem like I know what I'm talking about and I've never looked at a book before, never had a construction conversation with anyone. But I think that those words are just going to come out of my mouth. They're not going to come out of my mouth. The things that are going to come out of my mouth, they're not even going to make sense to anyone. It's not going to be the same thing as what they're speaking of.
Speaker 1It's the same way with the word of God, in order to know what God has for us, and to speak those things, to speak His language. That's what it is. It's not just speaking good things, but to speak God's language. This is how God speaks, this is His word, it's His instruction, it's what he wants us to become, and so when we're living it out and we're speaking it out, it brings peace to our situation. It brings life to our situation, because that is who God is. He doesn't live among our negative words. He doesn't live among the things that don't produce life, that don't allow him to come. He lives among his words, he lives with the word of God, and so that's why we always need to keep it consistent in our lives.
Speaker 1So, whatever area in your life that you're not pleased with, that you're not satisfied with, so what are you believing God for in that area? How do you want it to change? What do you need to do? What does God's word say about your situation? Is it healing in your body? Don't just accept the sickness, because sickness is not from God, sickness is from the devil. So go in God's word, find healing scriptures. Speak those over your life, over yourself. The word of God should proceed out of your mouth. You shouldn't have worry, doubt or fear, but the word of God should come out of your mouth and try not to complain, to let your frustrations out, but praise him. Thank God for what he's doing.
Speaker 1Say thank you, god, that you're getting me out of here. Thank you, god, that you're making a way where there seems to be no way. Thank you, god for giving me wisdom and how to handle this. God, how should I approach this? Give me a different perspective. Help me to have joy in this situation. See how I'm speaking. Live into that situation. God is able to work, and then I'm able to be in that situation too. It's not as hard anymore because I've included God. I'm speaking His language and we can determine the final outcome in our situation by the words we speak. How are we speaking again? How do we want it to end? If it started out bad, do we want it to end bad? How are we praying? We can just be praying. Thank you, god, that you're restoring my praying. Thank you, god, that you're restoring my family. Thank you, god, that we're healed. Thank you, god, that we're financially blessed, but then after your prayer, you're speaking completely against it. It's like you never even prayed.
Speaker 1What you pray for needs to be lined up with the words you speak. When you're talking to your friends, when you're talking to your family, co-workers, or even if you're just talking to yourself, you always need to be speaking the words of God and we need to think are we allowing Him to move or are we stopping Him from working in our lives? We shouldn't be saying but God, why are you not doing this? Why are you not working in my life? We need to ask ourselves that question what am I doing to prevent God from working in my life? How am I speaking? Because God is always here. He wants to come in and rescue us and help us. He loves us. We are His children. But when we don't let Him or allow Him to, then His hands are tied. So you need to make sure and see am I letting God intervene? Am I allowing him to move in? Am I complaining about the situation or am I giving thanks and praise to him? If you're praising God and you're thanking him, he's going to be there. You will not question and ask God, where are you? God is always there. He's always there. It's us. It's like where are we? Have we included God in our lives? Are we seeking him? Whenever we need him, he's there.
Speaker 1And meditating on the word of God daily will lead your words and your thoughts in the right direction. Meditating on the word of God daily will lead your words and your thoughts in the right direction. And God, he gives us peace. So if you don't have peace, get into his word. Speak the scriptures over your life. So God's word is the answer for all of life's problems. For Jesus tells us my yoke is easy and my burden is light. He doesn't make things difficult for us. He doesn't make things hard for us, he wants them to be easy for us. So he says my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Because he says give your cares to me and I will take care of them. Speak God's word. That's why, when we speak God's word into our life, we are giving our cares to God. We're letting him intervene, we're letting him work in our life, and then we're not carrying that all on us, we're letting him work, we're letting him navigate our lives, we're letting him lead us and guide us and protect us, and that gives us peace.
Speaker 1And get what you need from the word. Fill yourself up. If you need joy, if you need direction, if you need wisdom, healing, fill yourself up in that area. It's similar to when you're hungry you eat until you're full. Same way with the word of God you feed yourself until you're spiritually full and your spirit is hungry for the word of God. Sometimes, when you haven't spent that time with God or you haven't been with him for a while or attended church, you may not think you want to, but it's because your flesh is overriding your spirit. But when your spirit starts connecting with God and you start meditating with the word of God every day, your spirit becomes hungry. And then when you miss a day for meditating on his word, and then you start the next day, your spirit gets hungry. It wants more of the word each time because it is so good. It's like when you're eating that sweet pie or that sweet cake you want more of it because it is so good. It's just like with the word of God, but even better. It's like sweetness to our bones, it's like sweetness to our spirit.
Speaker 1We need to be determined to get what God has promised in his word. We can't just say, well, if God wanted it to happen, then it would happen. Well, god wants us to believe for the things that he has promised us with. We can't just say, well, if God wants me healed, then I'll be healed. He already told us in his word that he wants us to be healed. So you have to go after your healing, go after the joy, go after the peace. He's not going to force it on us, but we need to go after the things that he has promised and he wants for us.
Speaker 1What is it in your life that you need, and what does the word say about that situation? And how determined are you to get your answer, to see a breakthrough? When you're determined for something, you will get your answer. You will seek Him. Is it for sickness? Do you need a job? Car trouble, family issues, whatever it may be Any area that you need God to intervene, he can.
Speaker 1Let's look at Psalm, chapter 34, verse 8 through 10. It reads oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is a man who trusts in Him. So we see that the Lord is good. He has good things for us. Verse 9, just as it says right there in that verse but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Because we're seeking the Lord, he gives us what we need, we're speaking the words of God and he's able to intervene into our lives.
Speaker 1Now I'm going to give you some scriptures that speak over your life. These are just a few, but there are a ton in the word of God. Deuteronomy 28, 13. The Lord makes me the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Deuteronomy 28.6,. I am blessed, coming in and going out.
Speaker 1Philippians 4.13. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. 2 Timothy 1.7,. God has not given me a spirit of fear and timidity. I have a spirit of power, love and self-discipline. Isaiah 41.10. I will not fear because my God is with me.
Speaker 11 Peter 2.24. By His stripes, by the blood of Jesus' stripes, I am healed. 1 John 4.4. Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. 2 Corinthians 5.7. I walk by faith and not by sight. Isaiah 54.17. No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that speaks against me in judgment shall be condemned. Jeremiah 29.11. God has great plans for me and I am filled with hope for a great future. Romans 8.31.
Speaker 11 Peter 5.7. Deuteronomy 28.12. Philippians 1.6. Philippians 1.6. I know that he who has begun a good work in me will complete it. Philippians 4.6-7. I am anxious for nothing, but in everything. By prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let my request be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. So those are a few scriptures that you can speak over your life and you can feel them already starting to work. I like speaking the word of God because my spirit feels alive and I know that God is working in my life. What I would recommend is for you to speak these scriptures. You can even start with these scriptures and start speaking them over your life and then dive into the word each and every day and speak God's word into your life and watch him move and watch your situation and your life change.
Speaker 1Thank you for tuning in. If you have not accepted Jesus into your life, say the salvation prayer with me. Heavenly Father, I admit that I have sinned. I repent. I believe in my heart. You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth. Jesus is Lord and my Savior. Right now I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus Come into my life. I am saved In Jesus' name, amen. I'm glad you prayed that salvation prayer. Make sure that you plug yourself into a spirit-filled church and read the Word of God. Well, I hope you enjoy the message and thank you for tuning in. Bye.
