Most people don’t even realize Leesburg High School has a tennis team — but behind the scenes, the Jackets have been quietly building something special.
In this episode of SportsHub, we sit down with the Leesburg High School tennis coach and three senior players to talk about the program’s history, where the team trains and plays, and what it takes to compete when you don’t always have the spotlight. The players share how long they’ve been part of the program, how they balance school and athletics, and what it means to represent a team many in the community don’t see on Friday nights.
We also dive into how the program develops younger players, prepares the next generation, and keeps tennis alive at Leesburg High — even without the visibility of larger sports.
