Men on Show
"Candid conversations with everyday heroes"
Heroes don't always come regaled in capes or fly through the air.
Sometimes you could (and quite likely have) walked past one on the street and not even known.
We hear so many stories about men behaving badly, but what about the men being brilliant?
Join Andrew Pain as he finds and chats to these "everyday heroes", ordinary men who have done, and are doing extraordinary things.

S1 E48 - Shaun Flores - How Porn & Body Shame Are Destroying Young Men
Shaun Flores is a mental health advocate, public speaker, and five-time TEDx speaker using his voice to challenge stigma around OCD, masculinity, and identity.
After a late diagnosis of OCD at 27, Shaun rebuilt his life through therapy, storytelling, and advocacy sharing his journey to help others find clarity, language, and resilience. His talks go beyond awareness and offer real tools for navigating shame, neurodiversity, and emotional health especially for young men and marginalised communities.
Shaun has delivered sessions with the NHS, Panasonic, Papa John’s, and schools across the UK. He’s the founder of The Flores Effect™ and Rejection Rehab™, programmes built to help people speak from the soul not the script. His story has been featured in BBC, Channel 4, Metro UK, and Men’s Health.
Whether he’s leading a workshop, breaking down OCD myths, or unpacking the “performance of normal,” Shaun’s mission is simple: to leave the world better than he found it one conversation at a time.
