Atypical
Naturally, I’ve always been a storyteller, but now it's time for me to let others tell theirs. I believe we can learn both the good and the bad from people’s life experiences. It's why I love reading biographies. With this podcast my aim is to create a digital version of that. Each episode I’ll engage in raw, authentic, and unfiltered conversations with founders, entrepreneurs, game-changers, friends, and many other atypical people who all have fantastic insights to share. So join me on this journey, inspired by those who refuse to settle for the ordinary.

E2: Kelsey Matus - Heartbreak, first dates and green flags
Introducing the beautiful and brilliant Kelsy Matus, who I have the pleasure to call a close friend. She’s strong in her convictions, knows what she wants, refuses to settle and isn’t here to mess around. From a grounded upbringing in the small town of White River, South Africa, Kelsey then set her sights on Europe with short stints in the Netherlands and the UK in 2016, before returning to the UK in 2021 for good I hope. We’re going to be dissecting a topic which is very relevant for many people, myself included - dating in London, but from the female perspective.
Kelsey believes she’s not unique and is one of the thousands of women in their 30s dating in London. But what she is, is relatable. She’s also part of a wave of women, who are refusing to settle, in life and in love. Maybe that’s what makes her singularly qualified to talk on the subject; Kelsey is the “women” who will listen to this and hopefully by talking about her life and experiences, they won't feel so alone.
