It's going good. Uh, we got a lot to get to, so we might as well go ahead and get to it. Uh, we're at the road to WrestleMania. We have no more stops now, as we had Elimination Chamber last week. But again, no more stops, no more exit. If you didn't take a piss, it's too late. We'll see you in Vegas. But Elimination Chamber in Vegas, I mean Elimination Chamber in Chicago was a pretty decent show from my perspective. But before I tell you, Q, if you want or not, how did you feel about the show in its totality?

In totality, totality, I felt like the show. I feel like I thought it was good. Shout out to Joe. You know Joe. Joe texted me and said, Hey, should I even watch this? Because he ain't he ain't really into the new current wrestling. He watches a lot of independent, but like actually WWE, AEW really don't watch. He goes to like a GL. He's going to GLW up in Philly in a couple in uh a couple months. But he says, cute, should I even watch this one? Is this the one that if I watch this one, am I still am I gonna still want to keep watching WWE? I said, I said I thought it was good, not great. Take from take it from that as you will be old. You know what I mean? I feel like it was a good show. It was a it was predictable show, but it was still a good show. Even though, you know what I'm saying, even though it was predictable. Sometimes

Women’s Chamber Breakdown And Rhea’s Push

Yeah, and like I said, we're at the roads of wrestling. They're not gonna do too much crazy thing. They know what they want to do, they've known what they want to do since October. It looks like they got some, they did some changes around a little bit with the Cody and Drew thing, but we'll get to that. But congratulations, Q. You did win again in the conference points prediction. You won 13 to 10. You actually pretty much dominated me. Um, the big one was uh I picked Tiffany Straton, you picked Rhea Ripley. We might as well go ahead and talk about that match as that match started off the show. Uh Rhea Ripley ended up winning the women's elimination chamber. It came down to Rhea and Tiffany Stratton. So our two favorites was in the final two, but Rhea won some highlights with Kel Ragrias. She dominated this elimination chamber. They made her look like a monster. I don't know. I mean, she's been a monster, but they didn't, I don't know what made them book her like that in this show, but they booked her like she was a monster. So give her props. Uh uh Keanu James, she had a pretty good show in uh Asuka, she did all okay. Alexa Bliss started it off, but it was a it was a good match. I think it was better than the men's one. Slightly, not overly, but slightly. I think the the ending for the men's one was better, but I think in totality the women's match was better. But it was good. Real Ripley got the win. Like you said, probably a little bit predictable after what happened Friday. She lost her job to tag team titles. Uh we we made our prediction before, but you you saw it ahead of time.

Man, crazy thing. When they lost the tag team titles on SmackDown, and I had literally just said the day before we recorded, man, they're gonna have to do something to get those tag titles off real because she's gonna win. And who knew the next night? You know what I mean? She was gonna she was gonna lose the tag titles, but I knew you you saw it coming. Um the like you said, I've the you right about the men's ending is better. If I had a like if we put numbers on it, the women was like a 7.8, the men's was a seven, so it wasn't that much better, but it was better, you know what I mean? Um they Keanu James looked really good too.

I feel like the Alexa pen, I feel like it should have been a bigger moment, if it makes sense. I feel like if you're gonna have her pen Alexa, it should have felt more grand. Because Alexa is a name. She's not just she's not just a like a mid car. I mean, she's she's big time, she's box office. So I feel like it should have felt grander. I don't know how I don't, and that's the thing. I'm sitting here complaining, I don't know how to make it more grander, right? But I just feel like it should have been. Um my question, this is just me, right? And it's just my question. So if Liv is going after the women's, and then Rhea is going after the uh the Smackdown versus Jay. And I she wasn't even in this match, but I do ask a question because I wonder what you think. What do you do with EO at WrestleMania?

That's a great question, especially now. Her tag team partner's gone. You you would assume like if she had a tag team partner, because it's looking like it's gonna be a multi-team thing for the tag team titles of WrestleMania. I don't, you gotta do something. I mean, I guess Oscar, they got some beef. It's not it's it's kind of died down beef. I think Oscar's story is more with her tag team partner, but yeah, oh, you gotta do something where you can't keep her off the car, at least.

Um in the judgment day with Living Uh Roxanne Perez, she's hurt, Raquel.

I was gonna say, with Roxanne Perez hurt, what do you do with Raquel too? Because she don't have no tech team partner. She's definitely gonna be and you can't book her like yet, yeah, and not put her in nothing at WrestleMania.

So now I'm like maybe they assuming Raquel will be ready by WrestleMania because I they booked her like a monster. Like, where was this?

But they do glimpses like that with her, and then it kind of fades and they put her back in the tag team division, and that's cool because me and you always talk about that in these tag teams, but if Roxanne is hurt, what do you do with Raquel? Rhea is gone to face Jay. What do you do with EO? EO don't have a storyline going into, and then we already seen the intercontinental women's championship match. It's gonna be a rematch. We'll get to that in a minute, but where do you do with these women? They all raw, so and they all have technical partners. So that's just my that's where my thought went after that match. I know Eo wasn't in the match, but that's where I went.

I don't know. We will we'll see. Uh, I mean I'm excited. I'm starting to get excited for WrestleMania, but that is a good question that I don't know the answer to. But what I do know is gonna be Rhea versus Jay Cargill. And how do you feel about that match?

I feel like Jay's getting Jay. So they had the back and forth on the internet, and from everything I'm reading, it wasn't planned, it wasn't supposed to go that far. Jay got real heat backstage. I feel like if Jade doesn't perform well in this match, they gonna bury her. If not, release her.

I hope not. But I mean, I think she can perform well. Real Ripley's a great performer if they are on in-sync. As long as they in-sync, Jade is not some, she she's not a broomstick. She might not be the good best tactical wrestler out there, but she's not someone that's gonna she can she can put on some a solid match. Will she? We will see.

I was gonna say we'd have seen her put on solid matches, but she don't get yours, she don't have that many of the opportunities. You know what I mean? And like you just said, we all know she's not the best technical wrestler. So she ain't she ain't got that. And wrestle at WrestleMania that they do some cutting. They do it every year. They do it every year. I know Jay Gargill got a bag, but so I don't know. But as far as that actual match, I just hope it's a good match. Yeah, I can tell you who I think will win because that's just too difficult at this point. But I just hope it's a good match.

AJ Lee won with uh Becky tapping out. So AJ Lee is the new women's intercontinental championship. First title since the Divas title back in the day. I mean, we both picked AJ Lee. You was a little bit more confident than I was. She's going into WrestleMania with the title. It looks like it'll probably be a rematch. So I mean, there's not too much to say.

Yeah, I was gonna say they they gon' they gonna run that right back. It just what that's just what it's gonna be. You know what I mean? It ain't gonna be nothing. I don't even think it's gonna be like a stipulations match, neither. I heard some people talking about a submissions match, but I don't foresee that neither.

Yeah, I don't either. It's crazy. Becky, she has uh the disarmor, but she has not used that in Lord knows how long. So it's it's kind of crazy. But yeah, that looks like they're gonna give AJ Lee a couple defenses leading up. There's like seven weeks into WrestleMania. She's already talking about defending the title, so she'll probably defend the title on a roll or two. We'll see how that goes on. But we knew it. Another match we really knew what was gonna happen was CM Punk versus Finn. Surprising, there was no uh no interference by Judgment Day. I mean, CM Punk just won clean as a whistle in his hometown. I don't know. I mean, uh Nell we'll talk about that here in a second. I don't know what they do with with Finn Balor, because I was assuming maybe it would go out to Dom, but we'll talk about that in a quick second, that Dom is no longer the intercontinental champion.

The CM Punk and the Finn thing, it was like I said, it was predictable. Finn, Finn and CM Punk are both great workers, or very good workers, or whatever the case may be. You knew CM Punk was gonna let Finn get his shit off. You know what I mean? He was gonna be able to get his moves off, he was gonna be able to be like, man, I'm still good at this. And CM Punk was eventually going to win that match. Um you can't, and then you're not gonna mess up the money shot. CM Punk versus Rome is the money shot. You weren't gonna mess that up. Now that's it, now that that turn buckle breaking with Pan Bala back here. We still gotta address that at some point, you know. It'd be nice, it'd be nice, he could be addressed, but as far as WrestleMania, you ain't gotta do it there. You might have to do it at Backlash

CM Punk Beats Finn And Judgment Day Questions

or whatever case it may be. But you ain't messing up the money, shot. It's gonna be Roman versus CM Punk. The match was a good match, but it was a good match, but it was a predictive match. We knew what the outcome was gonna be.

Wasn't that into it, but uh something else, and I'm actually kind of surprised. Um the discourse online, we both said it. The box was revealed to be Dan Housing. Me and you both said it. Apparently, the social media was in flame, like was not happy that it was Dan Housing. They was not I saw our friend Joe, he called it the the gobbledygooper, the like the that thing they did back in the day. Like, damn, people was not happy. I know that I I'm not that familiar with Dan Housing. I knew a little bit of his stuff. I knew what he was about. I knew he was a comedic relief character, but people hated it. They was assuming it was Chris Jericho. And I'm wondering, like, does the segments that the box was in was mostly comedic segments. So, like, did you expect it to be Chris Jericho? I don't know. I don't know why. But I will say, we even though with the bad discourse on the Eliminate Shimmer, one thing that's good about us waiting until uh later to do the show, he already redeemed himself on Monday Night Raw. It already flipped. The hate went to love, and now he's one of the best merch sellers in WWE already. He's only been with the company less than a week. And he made his presence known by cursing uh Dom Mysterio and having a very uh pretty hilarious uh backstage seven with Alan Paris and cursing Dom, and Dom losing any kind of touch. So he's already made his presence. I feel like it's already flipped, but on Saturday, when it happened, the the live crowd wasn't that happy, social media wasn't that happy, but I'm glad he's made it the performer that Danhausen is. He's made it flipped already in just one backstage segment.

All right, it was so much hate about Donhouse, Donhous, and I'm like, who did y'all think it was?

I'm I'm surprised. Like, I said I don't know too much about him. I'm more of a fan now. Uh Monday or Saturday, I was like, uh, I mean, cool, what's he? Monday, I'm more of a fan now because okay, I see really what he's about. He's very he's he's hilarious. That Adam that stuff with Adam Prince was funny. He wants to be in the Hall of Fame. He wanted his pointing picture with Triple H. He got, and I don't know. Yeah, he seemed, and again, he's a friend of CL Punks too, so you know it's goodwill. So I don't know why people was upset, but congratulations to him to changing that script that fast and becoming one of the best top merch sellers in less than what 72 hours, just like that. Danhausen Reveal Backlash And Rapid Turnaround

match, which me and you got it wrong. I had Cody, you had LA Knight, I was wishful thinking on you. But the match was okay. Um, it was it was more of a showcase. I won't say a showcase. This is probably the plan it was for Bronson, uh Bronson Reed and Braun or Braun um Breaker. But Logan Paul looked dominant. Well, he didn't look dominant, he was dominant as he had, what, three eliminations. Uh Trick Williams, Javon Evans, they just showed up. Uh the highlight for Trick Williams was mostly the entrance. He did a little something in the match, not too much. This wasn't honestly wasn't his time to do much. He was just in the main event. Javon Evans, he did a couple dope things, but again, eliminated by Logan Paul. Logan Paul dominated until some masked men showed up. It turned out to be a fake out until Seth Rollins showed up in the mass. He stomped Logan Paul, got him up out of there. Uh then after that, Drew McIntyre came in there to mess with Cody. Randy was like, What you doing? Hitting with an RKO. Cody hitting with a crossroads, and Randy instantly hit Cody with an RKO, got the 1-2-3 with the surprising win. But I did like that ending uh after the match, after the show. Nick Aldous was hot, but he gave Cody Rose a match on Friday for the WWE title. So we gotta talk about this. How did you feel about this match? How you feel about Randy going to WrestleMania now is Cody versus true. How do you feel like that should play out?

Okay. Let's let's start with uh let's just start with the top. I knew it was gonna be Seth Rollins because it was all his students. So I knew I knew it was Seth Rollins to begin with, where it was it was gonna lead out to be Seth Rollins, but I liked how they did it, faking it off. I know a lot of people hated it, but I actually like it because it was it was something different, you know what I mean? And it's like I got people that can do stuff for me. So I like it. Um I Randy and WrestleMania main event. I think it's a good idea because Randy's a legend. He's one of the he is the most he's the most legendary figure they got right now. It's him and Rey Mysterio. That's it. It's them is the two legends that's still wrestling and who's still competing to this day. I think it's a good look because again, it puts butts in seats. The Cody and Drew match on SmackDown. I'm not a fan of because I think they're gonna Jacob's gonna interfere and Cody's gonna win. And then it's gonna be Cody versus Randy. I want it to be Drew versus Randy. I don't think Cody deserves deserves the wrong word. I don't think Cody needs this moment. Put Cody in something else for WrestleMania. Let it be Drew versus Randy. That's just my thoughts. I I I don't need to see Cody in a world picture right now. Roman went away from the world picture for what a year or two.

Yeah, it's a little bit different for Roman because he's not there every day. Every day, so it'll be a little bit hard for Cody to stay away.

But that that's even more so a reason why you hear every day you had his title every day. Okay, do some other storylines, let you and Jacob go, then let you and Randy have a thing, and then go have a thing with somebody with uh Damian Priest. I don't know, and then go take take some time out of the title picture.

I think uh something, I don't know if WWE's gonna change this philosophy, but I do think only having five matches on a PLE card kind of hurts them from going to hurts them from having non-title feuds. They don't they do do them, they do non-title feuds, but most of the time those blowoffs is at a main event on a Raw or main event on SmackDown, maybe a Saturday night nights main event. They don't do those balls at PLEs. Them PLEs is basically title matches. Now I feel like they need to bump it up from five to seven. I would like them to. I don't know if they will change that philosophy. I do understand the they won't they want to give these matches times, but sometimes you might need to bump it up to six or seven, depending

Yeah, 14 to 16. So it'd be seven or eight matches each tonight, which again makes sense. It's WrestleMania. WrestleMania WrestleMania should be like that. Yeah, yo, your PLE's in the middle. WrestleMania, WrestleMania and SummerSlam should feel special, so they should have that many. I don't know if Deion 7 just feel like a lot dog.

But they have the right to a quarterback that was the former quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, that has been released. He is now a free agent. Now Q. You're looked at as maybe you you'll probably be a starter if you sign somewhere. You'll probably be a starter, but people don't look at you pretty highly. You're still young. PLE Card Philosophy And Non-Title Feuds

So uh looking at Calamary's um baseball stats, obviously he was in the draft, he made it, he got drafted. Uh he played for the Oklahoma Sooner baseball team in 2017 as a left fielder. Ooh, wee. That is not a good bat average. He batted, he batted a 122 batting average with six runs bat in and 27 games. In the summer league with the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2018, he batted 296 with 10 home runs, 47 RBIs, and 10 stones baseball. I guess that's where they saw the potential that got him drafted. It included a 4.66 million signing bonus. I don't know if he got that. I don't think he did. So I'm assuming that if he does opt to play baseball, he gets that signing bonus. But he's got money. He's he's he's he's got QB1 money. Yeah.

Would you want to go to the minors? It also depends on what's really in his heart. If he's really baseball at heart, because it'd always been questions about Kyler Murray's commitment to football. If he's baseball at heart, then okay. But would you want to go from being a star quarterback to, you know?

Personally, no. Like I said, he's going to be a starting quarterback next season if he chooses to be in the NFL. As Ms. Martin's looking at him. The Steelers, the Dolphins, the Jets. Don't go to the Jets, Kyler, please. Don't go to the Jets. But Steelers, Dolphins, even the Vikings might even be interested. I would go there and see if they're seriously interested. But he's going to have options. And I still think he's a talented quarterback that can be a winning quarterback. Now, Super Bowl winning quarterback, we haven't seen it. Maybe he can in the right position. I think he can in the right position. I think most quarterbacks can in the right position with the right team. Maybe he finds the right team to help him get become a Super Bowl winning quarterback. But I would like the story of him going to baseball. He's 28. If he goes now, he'll probably be in the majors if he develops at the earliest 31, 32.

um in the NFL, it takes you three years if you're good to get a bag. In the MLB, it's like eight damn near 27, 28. I mean seven, eight years till you can get you a legit bag in the MLB. And I'm talking those 10-year, 400 million bags. You don't you don't get that in three years. It takes a long time to get that because these teams on your right for like seven, eight years before they have to do something with you.

It's not like the NBA where you get the rookie contract and then you got the rookie, you get the uh the team gets the opportunity to max. I expect him to make the playoffs. I said they'll probably be fifth, fourth, sixth at the worst. I expect them to be number two in the and now they're potentially gonna get Jesse Tatum. Now, I don't even I'm on the fence on the Jesse Tatum should even play. I felt like he maybe should sit out the whole season. But you tell me, especially considering that they are good and potentially could win a championship, because I was thinking like, damn, if they was bad, he definitely wouldn't play. If they're good, maybe he don't need to play, but they're good and maybe he can help them out, but he might mess up their flow. I don't know. How you how you feeling?
