And is if you were going to watch a live. Q, did you watch Backlash Live?

Um uh yes, I did watch Backlash Live. It's crazy. I was uh we did a little Saturday kickback over my sister's house. Uh she's like, I'm gonna like the drill. So she told her, she told everybody in the family, pretty much everybody was able to make it. Um and I'm sitting in the I'm sitting in there with my uh how old's my mother is he 15? He's about to be a junior, so he might be 16. Yeah. Me and him sitting there, we uh we we watching, we watching uh the WWE, and then we gonna get into it. That's all I'm gonna say. We're gonna get into it. Well, uh he looked at me a couple times.

It was a day night for your boy. I didn't watch it. You know, I was cool, but I knew I was gonna watch it after the fact, and I did watch it on Monday and Tuesday, and as I'm watching it Monday and parts of Tuesday, I'm like, damn. Kind of glad I didn't watch this live. I just wasn't feeling it, man. I I don't know, but what I might as well say me and me and Q, we we we clean swept, we picked everything right. We did not get any of the prop bitch right, but we clean swept, which means we did tie. But it was a predictable show, as you know, as our prediction showed, we picked everything right. But you know, Trick Williams beat Sami Zayn, Brian Breaker in a decent match, beat Seth Rollins. There was a couple boxes in there. Glad everybody was okay. Uh Dead Housing and the Mini Housing beat Miz

Danhausen Clones And Comedy Limits

and Kit Wilson before we talked about Thunderwind. What was your reaction to the mini housings or the clone housings being did it did you did it take the wind out yourselves? Because I like I didn't watch a lot, but when I got the notification that it wasn't nobody big and it was just clones or mini housings, I was like, oh, okay. Guess who? I wouldn't know. I it kind of took the winds out myself.

All I'm gonna say is, I like I said, I was watching with my cousin. And by this time, my other little cousin had come in the house. I think uh my cousin Jasmine was in there too. My cousin, no, it's my uncle, my uncle Turns. My little current, my little cousin Turns go the second, he looked at me and said, Yeah? And I was like, look, man, I'll I cut this off. I said it was cut this off. Because it was, I'm expecting we're gonna get an actual wrestler turn to find out it was El Toro. It was an actual wrestler, but I'm thinking Royce Keys, Oba Femi, something of that nature. We making this really, it's gonna make they making it impossible for Dan Housing to be taken seriously at any point. It's just not gonna happen. You making it impossible, he could be a solid mid-core champion, part of a tag team, something of that nature. They making it really hard to take him seriously when you come out.

No, that's over, right? I can't take him seriously. It's over, man. I thought he was at least gonna be on the R2 level. Okay, it might win a couple tags. I can't even see him win a tag title.

Yeah, it it it's really over for him. He's he's a comedy wrestler. Is that a bad thing? No, he's about to make a lot of money doing his role. But I don't know. I I took the wins out of myself. Okay, this is just what comedy bit. Dan Helsing won, but I cool. Uh talk about the rest of the show. Uh, Oscar faced EO. EO beat her. It's looking like it was Oscar's last match for a while. Reports are that she's taking a hiatus from wrestling, going back to Japan handling some business. But she's probably gonna be gone for a while, if not fully retired. Reports were she's semi-retired. But hey, she deserves to take a break. She's been in this game for a long time, one of the GOATs. And Roman beat uh Jenka Fatu Fartu did stand tall at the end of the match. I hate when they do that. The winner ends up looking like a loser at the end of the night because Jacob Fartu's super tall. But also to that, John Cena, his announcements wasn't Nashville hosting a WrestleMania, but they're having like a John Cena invitational. Some people was saying like they probably changed that because it was going to be the WWE Club. It's all the backlash that it would have been if that was the real announcements. This John Cena invitation was cool. Doesn't look like they having everything wanted how they wanted it, because they probably did this at the last minute, but hey, it's cool. But outside of that, I mean it was an okay show. It was a it was backlash. It was a C-level pay-per-view. It was cool. We can move on, but you got any more thoughts, you know, Oscar, maybe her last match. Got any thoughts about Braun self, Trick, Samuel, Roman Jacob?

Oscar, legendary, legendary, right? Great worker, puts on great shows. Like you said, if she wants to take some time off, she deserves that time off. Uh Sami Zayn turned ill, basically. He didn't get the reaction that I think it should have, but Sami Zayn turned hill, and I'm rocking with it. Um Jacob and Roman. So, of course, we have the benefit of now that we're recording this later in the week. We got to see Monday night. They're continuing the Jacob and Roman feel. It's going to continue on throughout the summer. Or at least to the next PLE, which I think is probably in Italy.

Clash PLE. We got Saturday Night's Main event next Saturday. We'll talk about it. We'll predict it. We'll talk about it. Then we got Clash PS at the end of the month.

Yeah. Oh, they did that early. They did that before. Like they put the Saturday Night Main event. The week before PLE, which in June, y'all don't have. Y'all don't have no PLE, so why not push the Saturday Night Main event to sometime in June to make it feel like something. Make it make it bigger. When you put it the week before the PLE, Saturday night main event loses some of its luster. As you already know that we got the tag team championship. But back to the Roman point I was making. The Roman and Jacob feud, they put on a good match, so I'm not mad at it that it's going to continue through at least to the next PLE clash in Italy. But as I said, we know what the outcome is. Roman go in. But I like how the storyline, they booked him, they booked Jacob as like a dangerous force again. He came in as a dangerous force. He kind of tapered off a little bit, but now they booking him in that light again. I think that I think that's going to be great for his career because that's what he needs to be booked as.

I ain't gonna say pretty good. It was an okay show. The Danhouse and stuff, you know, it was a little embarrassing if he was watching that with your folks, like Q was. That's probably one of them moments you're like, damn, y'all ain't got to embarrass me like that.

And if he I was like, man, I don't know, man. Cut this stuff off. Because I guess so wrestling originated from being a part of the circus, and it was the athletic people, and they they did stuff like this. That's where wrestling originated from, was part of the circus. So this is goes in line with the history of wrestling. Yeah, but that ain't my history of wrestling. I don't want to see that.

Preakness Field And Betting Talk

and move on. We're gonna talk about some horse racing. You know, we're in Louisville, Kentucky, the home of the Kentucky Derby. The second leg of the trip ground is the Preakness. And we talked about it multiple times. A lot of horses is not um competing in the Preakness this was in the Kentucky Derby. There's only three that actually got through the starting game. O'Celly, Incredible, and Robusta. Those three are in it. There's also another horse, Great White. He was in the Kentucky Derby, but he scratched right before he entered the gate. He fell over, so they cut him from the race. So technically four, but there's three. We talked about a golden tempo. He will not be in this race. He will be racing at the third leg of the trip crown, but uh the favorite is Taj Mahal. Uh uh O'Celly, the second favorite, the one in the Kentucky Derby and Rob Buster. They're fourth at 30 to 1. Ty with the uh third best odd. So uh tie with the uh fourth best odds, sorry. But I don't know. I'm probably I'm not gonna watch it, y'all guys. I ain't never watched the preakness. I watched the third leg when if there was a horse that was going for the triple crown, but I ain't never seen the preakness. I can't even pre-ness? Never seen the preakness. I've seen the highlights, obviously, because they show the highlights on ESPN and stuff, but I've never seen the start and end of a preakness.

Mainly because I'm probably gonna gamble on it a little bit because I still got some money left over from my church from uh like the Derby winners or some racist. So I'm probably gonna put a little money on it. I don't really gamble on football and basketball, but I will put a little money on some police. You know what I'm saying? Put a little money, put a little money on some ponies. Um yeah, I'm probably gonna watch the preakness. I think I put uh Incredible. I think he ran he ran in uh the Kentucky Derby. I think that's what I'm putting my money on. Like right now, the one, you know, the eyes I'm looking at, he's found on. So uh I think I'm gonna put some money on him, but yeah, man, we gotta watch the preakness. Now, the thing I learned, I learned a lot in the past week about the freakness and what about the Belmont. What I forgot Belmont states, their rights is hold held by Fox. And then Freakness is held by well, currently this is the last year they contracting the NBC, but Churchill Downs just paid a bunch of money to invest in the Freakness. Know what that means. If the Kentucky Derby's gonna on NBC, I mean freaking it's gonna be on NBC too, because we just we you know say we in the end of job. So and then Kentucky Derby horse winner gets five million dollars. They'll mind and freakings is on two million. That's why people care about the Derby a little bit more, dawg. And I'm thinking that they all in line together, and they really not, because the freakings can say, I want to move back to the last week or the first weekend in June. And they'll mind be like, okay, that's good. I just had a million dollars stuff in my purse, and then ain't nobody gonna go to the preekness. I'm thinking they all aligned, they really are not. They should. They should be best for business. It's best for business if all three of them are aligned. We're gonna talk about it a little bit in a little bit when we talk about golf and nerve majors. Uh uh, Brent Muster, uh, I just say everybody knows who I'm talking about.

Fixing The Triple Crown Calendar

He had an idea of changing from the triple crown to the grand slam. So be in May, Freakness will be in June, Belmont will be in July, and then they already run a race called the Travelers, which is a big, big, big horse race, and put all of them together and call it the Grand Slam of Horse Race to make it something new, to put a twist on it and put something on it. And I'm like, Yeah, that's a great idea. Now, is Belmont gonna be cool moving to July? I mean, I would I would put it on July 4th. Because like I mean you talked about before, it's nothing really old on July 4th. It's no point, there's nothing that's appointed in television on July 4th.

Missseason baseball, and I think I only think the W NBA play, if I if I remember right, I might be wrong on that. But it's nothing else wrong. That's normally when the SBN do they uh they ask me and stuff around that time because I'll start break for the W MLB. So if I'm the Belmont, well, even if I'm the priest, I mean why not? Move back to July. Make it on July 4th? That's a bag. Because again, it's nothing else on.

Well, somebody, uh it's just like you said, if they go into business together, y'all can make so much more money, especially with the viewing experience. PGA Championship Timing And Identity

do. We gotta see what's going on with the PGA tour, though, as they have started out their tournament. ESPN seems like they haven't talked about it, as they are at the Acro Mint Golf Club in Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, as they had their first round, the first day started today. So, you know, nothing too crazy. A bunch of people top at first, Scotty Scheffler is in that mix, a couple other people uh is in that mix of George Speed. I see he's he's he's one under Jordan uh Justin Thomas, he's one under. But no, how you feeling? You wanted to talk about the PGA tour? I honestly wanted another one of them events that I I usually don't check it out until about Sunday. But since you talk about it, I'll probably check it out tomorrow when I got some time.

It's one of them Thursday and Friday. You can watch it because, you know, fresh off work ain't really too much else on right now. I can get I can give the PGA a little time. Uh the thing with okay, so the PGA. The PGA, the the tour, I mean not the tour, the tournament. This tournament, this is one of the four majors. It used to actually be held in August. They moved it up to May these couple uh couple years ago to, you know, align with the schedule more. So you got Augusta in April, you got this in May, you got uh the US Open in June, and in July, you got the British Open. Well, I'm sorry, not the British Open, the Open Challenge, the Open Turkey, the Open Song. And I'm listening to a bunch of golf experts talk about how this should have been, it should still be held in August because this was the last big event before you got into football. And now it it doesn't even feel it don't even feel special anymore because you still coming off Augusta. They got a bunch of other big tournaments that they have, you know, not not to us, because we we, you know, casual golfers. But to golf enthusiasts, there's other big tournaments between August and now that it's don't feel like a it don't feel like a major. It never the PGA never felt like a special major. It was always the fourth major, and it was always the distance between four and three. But now it's the uh the distance of popularity for this major has even increased. So in this one, I'm thinking they should move it back to August. It's right before football season. I know they tried to what they were trying to do was move day uh day in the season playoff tournament to August so that it wouldn't be going against the NFL. But at some point, you should never never go against the NFL case. You shouldn't, but at the same time, you just decreased your your major, the PGA. Your major that's named after your tour. You just decreased it. Yeah, but you like you said, did you even know us was going on until I said that?

NFL Schedule Primetime Snubs

is king. They did release their schedule. I'm gonna be honest with you guys. I was only looking for one thing when the Cowboys schedule came out, and that's when they played Indy Napoleon. Other than that, I didn't look at it and honestly, I really don't care. I'm just hoping we have a successful season. But one thing I am looking at, I want to get your perspective on the queue, since you're a fan of this team. I was looking at teams that have prime time games. Now, this is subject to change. There's a possibility some of these teams that don't have a prime time game could eventually get one. No, they sometimes know when people's playing good, they might want to catch a little bit of that money and move them to the primetime slot. But the New York Jets, Stairs on the Corners, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and your Tennessee Titans do not have a primetime game. What's your thoughts, Thurkey?

The Raiders had the number one pick last year. They don't deserve a primetime game. The Tennessee Titans had the number one pick, my team two years ago. We we'll kick off at 1, 4:30, and we, you know what I'm saying? We do what we gotta do. Yeah. I don't want my Tennessee Titans in prime time. Because I always jump on my uncle. Ticket Prices And Parenting Plans

All right. Well, since since you don't want to be on TV, no, I was looking at some NFL tickets. They very expensive. Most NFL games are very expensive. No, you could probably get into the building for about $200. That's usually the goal to get into the building, right? For most NFL games. Oh, your Tennessee Titans, y'all have a uh y'all have a new uh stadium y'all gonna have to be paying for. So y'all tickets is a little bit more expensive than they probably should be. But any of those games that you looked at on the schedule, you're like, man, I was willing to pay that $200 to get into the building.

Okay, so the parent in me, the parent in me. Uh my son's a Detroit Lions fan. My Tennessee Titans played Detroit Lions this year in Detroit in December. I've been knowing that they was playing, and I was like, all right, I'm gonna buy these tickets as long as it's in September, October, November. If it's in December, January, I'm not gone. Cook. It popped up that the game's December, I think 13th off the top of my head. That's right there by Christmas, too, boy. Right there by Christmas? Which that's something I didn't even think about. You made you pointed that out to me. I hadn't even thought about damn that's right there by Christmas. But I was thinking like, man, it's gonna be cold up in some.

And I forgot that the 76ers are allergic to getting past the second round. I forgot about their running beef with the second round and they're getting it back. That's on me. But they got swept off their feet. And now they have a aging super, not necessarily aging, but an injury-prone superstar whose contract is just about to kick in. And they did not get, there's no way they're going to get off that contract. So what does the 76ers go for Miracle? Like I. Joel MB, he he has he doesn't play, he've only played like 40 games this year. And that's like an every year thing.

Lakers Roster Build Around Luka

Uh, they have a super aging superstar who is still pretty productive, especially being the third option. They have a Luka Dotis as their first option. They have an Austin Reese as their second option. Neither of them guys play defense for real, so that's their issue. But they do have a Marcus Martin, they might have to bring back Rui. They're gonna have to try to figure out to bring them back. DeAndre uh Aiden, who was terrible this year, who has a player option. I imagine he's gonna pick up that player option because he's not gonna get that money in the open market. So that's what the Lakers got. Well, how does the Lakers move on with Luca, Austin Reeves, and possibly maybe bringing back LeBron? We'll talk a little bit more about LeBron here in a second, but that's that's what they got.

Like you said, Aiden, he gotta pick up that play option because he didn't play well enough to not pick it up to get a long-term deal. Marcus Smart is interesting because he also got a player option. He played good. Yeah. And I think his play, I think his play option is like six million, eight million, or something like that. He can get more than that. He can get more than that. He could get the mid-level exception of like 11, 11, I mean nine to 15 million dollars. So y'all need to bring Marcus Smart back. But I don't know if y'all gonna be able to bring Marcus Smart back. He was, I mean, he was never the number two, he was the number three. Evan Mobley was the number two, Donovan Mitchell was the one. So why is it all something gets in the playoffs? Everybody blames James Harden when Evan Mobley's the one that's supposed to be carrying the team. If Donovan Mitchell was having an off night, Evan Mobley's supposed to be the one to step up. But everybody won't blame James. And I'm not saying James ain't James, he just, you know, he's talking about the history of James, uh his mess ups in Houston or whatever the case may be. I'm not blaming him, he's 30 something years old. Evan Mobley's 20 something. He just won Defensive Player of the Year a couple years ago. Evan Mobley needs to play better. Sorry, I had a Captain Hate moment. I think LeBron in Cleveland does make the most sense because he could slide in and play the he could play the three. And then when they go to small ball when Mobley or um Jared Island goes to the bench, LeBron can slide into the four and they can put another three out there. I like Cleveland as an option for LeBron Thomas. Of course, that the like I what I say earlier, the parent in me. The parent in him, is Bronny ready to be on his own? If the Lakers is gonna give him a real opportunity, if I'm not third, we'll see.

But the draft lottery happened last uh week, last Sunday, and Washington gets the number one pick. They get the pick of the litter. They should be a solid team if they pick right. Um top five picks, Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzly, Chicago Bulls, and the LA Clippers get the fifth pick via the Indianapolis Pacers. We don't got to talk too much about the rest of the lottery, but I did want your thoughts on the Pacers losing out on a potential top five, a potential top four pick, which is what it would have had to be for them to keep it. And now y'all, y'all basically have no way to improve y'all team via I mean, unless y'all strike gold and get somebody in the second round or something. Uh I have no way to improve y'all team. What other way y'all think I can improve your team? Are you just gonna go with uh Tyrese? Uh Nim was it, Nim Hard, uh Neesmith, uh Siakum and Zubak. Is that is that is that what we're rocking with? And how do you feel about that team?

But to get a B tier or A tier at either one of those positions, not only we're gonna have to give them up, we're gonna have to give up other assets. We don't have no other assets. We don't have our young player was Maliman. Our one dude that can get his own shot. That's that's why I don't think Zoomash was worth it because of the fact we gave up pitch pick to pick, and then we also gave up our only dude, I feel like we create his own shot. And he gets to the basket, get to the free throw line. He's the only dude we had that can do that. That's why I'm kind of mad that we got Mallaman. But to get an A-level or B level wing, I don't think we have the assets to do it. So I'm not 100% sure how we get better.
