We start with a heated NBA guard debate and end up stuck on a playoff collapse that feels impossible to explain, especially after a 29-point lead disappears. Then we shift into the messy collision of college football, gambling addiction, and NCAA enforcement before closing with a quick Stanley Cup Final temperature check.
• ranking five top scoring guards and arguing who you build around
• debating SGA’s two-way edge versus Kyrie’s shot-making and skill
• reacting to a 29-point blown lead and the late-game mistakes
• questioning coaching decisions, rotation issues, and heavy minutes
• asking if the series is actually over and what a comeback takes
• talking roster fixes and a Julius Randle for De’Aaron Fox idea
• breaking down the Brandon Sorsby gambling situation and the injunction
• calling out the hypocrisy of nonstop betting ads versus punishments
• checking Hurricanes vs Golden Knights and wanting a Game 7

SPEAKER_00

And what it do what it is, you're right another bad. It's your boy, Mr. Bell. AK AK say your name upon the spy. Might not with you the mop.

SPEAKER_01

What's up, DM? Hey, nothing, merch. Let's go ahead and get right into it. Before we get to the hot button topics, we want to start out with something fun because the hot button topics is gonna upset us. So we want to start off in a positive note before we get to the BS here a little bit.

Ranking Five Elite NBA Guards

SPEAKER_01

But you said the uh you said the debate question to me earlier, where it had five guards. I call them scoring guards because they really not point guards. Only point guard for the NBA is Tyre Salibur, and he's the last of my dying breeze. Shout out to him. Uh, but we got Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irvin, Jalen Brunson, SGA, and Derek Rose. The question was remove the worst player. Me and you both, we agree the worst player on that is Jalen Brunson. But I said something that you probably did not agree on, and I want to hear your thoughts. I said, of those five, I would probably take the other guy that doesn't have an MVP, and that's Kyrie Irving, first. And I just think his scoring ability is that much, he's just that dynamic of a player, and I seen what he can do with the ball in his hands in a game seven of an NBA finals. It's tough. I think Russell Westbrook and Derek Rose, they're similar players. I think Darren Rose is a little bit better of a shooter than Russell Westbrook, but they're both explosive players. I think SGA, he's more of a get to the mid-range, you know, step back jumper. He's got a he seems like he plays slow, but he's just playing at his pace, knows how to get to the spots. Jalen Brunson is just, he's gonna body you, get to his spots, download, score. He's closer to Kyrie Irvin, but Kyrie Irving is more finesse. Jalen Brunson is more rugged. So that's how I describe it. But who you taking of these five players? I'm taking Kyrie Irving. Who you got?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you're making me do something that I don't want to do. Okay. And you know why I don't want to do this, because you spoke of Matari's Halliburton earlier. It's very well known I'm a faces fan. The best player of those five is Shay. And I honestly don't, I respectfully don't think it's close. If for one reason, if this is gonna be my main reason, you can tell me if I'm wrong. Out of those five, who played the best defense? Westbrook. Shit. He tries the hardest of those five. Oh, I think because Shay plays on Oklahoma City Thunder and there's a bunch of better defenders around him, then we forget how good of a defender Shay is.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And also, we can't disrespect the fact that Shay got two two two LVBs. I'm not disrespecting that. And we again, you make me do something I don't want to do. Shay, we know he gets the free throws. He's a merchant, right? Yeah. Well, we saw in the Western Conference Finals of Game 7 versus San Antonio. I can get, I can, I can put up these points without getting to the free throw line. I don't have to do that. It's just easier for me to do that, but I don't have to do that. I think the best player of those five is Shay. Okay. I think by putting it in order, I'm going Shay, then I'm going Russell Westbrook. Then I'm going Kyrie. Then I'm going to go Derrick Rose. Then I'm going to go Jalen Brunson.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I will personally say I think Derek Rose's MVP season was a little overrated. This may be a hot topic. LeBron actually had better stats that season. I just think it was one of them things. They wanted something new. They got voter fatigue with LeBron. It's a thing. They don't want to get nobody else a three-peat in MVPs. They want to keep Larry Burry's record sacred for some reason. He's an MVP player. I think his game is similar to Westbrook. He's just not the rebounder playmaker as Westbrook is. But he's a little bit better of a scorer. So I don't disagree with that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, I agree with you that I think overall Westbrook is the better player as far as scoring is Rose. But as far as like Kyrie with the handles is curse. Nobody got it. You know what I'm saying? Kyrie's legendary with the handles. But we look at the other side of the ball because, you know, you gotta play both sides of the ball. It's ain't like football. You get sucked out with the time number. You know what I mean? I personally think Shay is the better defender. One-on-one. I think, like you said, Russell Westbrook tries hard. And I think he would be the second best defender. But I don't think he's better than Shay one-on-one. I'm still you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_01

I'm still rocking with Kyrie from my perspective, but I I don't disagree with your statement. But we got we got we gotta get to some bull.

Breaking Down The 29-Point Collapse

SPEAKER_01

Game four. They was up 29 points. I I I was half watching the game when it got up 29 points. And they, you know what? Let's not even let's talk about the series as a whole. Every game has gone the exact same way. The San Antonio Spurs, they come at high, get a double-digit lead. I think game one was like 14 points. Game two was like 16. Game three was like 12. Obviously, game four was 29. And then eventually New York Knicks come and walk them down. Obviously, game one and two, the New York Knicks ends up pulling it out with some mistakes. Game two with a big mistake from the San Antonio Spurs. Game three, no mistakes from San Antonio Spurs. They end up holding on. Game four. Wendy missing two free throws. SGA, um not SGA. When we missed two throws, Darren Fox with the blunder of a lifetime. Nobody boxing out OG and Manobi. OG's probably gonna be the final ZVP by the way if the New York Knicks wins this series. But it it I don't know what to say. I blame Fox, but it's not just him, him, it's on Mitch Johnson, it's on Wimby, as long as Penny Antonio's the Spurs as a whole. But damn, Fox, of all the players, you the veteran. I've seen this play happen a million times. You up one or two points, you basically got a fast break. Everybody loops under the rim, pass the ball or ways to get fouled. It happens every time. You chose to take the shot. I think he was scared to shoot the free throws, but I'll let you go, Q.

SPEAKER_00

So man, we were talking about a free vibe. I don't know who to blame for this 29-point loss. It's just like you gotta blame everybody, the Spurs in totality. But look at Mitch Johnson, right? He got he got scared and start choking. So he brought Wimby back in without Wimby getting a lot of rest. Wimby played 44 minutes. Wimby should not be playing 44 minutes. We know his track worker. He ain't built to play 44 minutes, especially the way that New York's playing him. Everybody in the playoff, well, not just New York and Oklahoma City too. They're trying to bully Wimby. So it takes more energy. It's more taxing on the body. So you blame Mr. Johnson for trying to shorten his rotation. As far as get not giving people their proper rest, I think he should play Harrison Barnes the more. Harrison Barnes needs to get some run because of the simple fact New York is bullying him. You need another big body. Harrison Barnes, I ain't saying he's seven foot, but Harrison Barnes, 6'8, 6'9, 6'10. He could make them, he could make the other team work as far as pushing their weight around. You already said it, Wendy missed those free throws. I just keep all I kept saying after the game was 29 points. Y'all was up at 29 points. Y'all was still about 20-something going at uh towards the end of the third. It was 15 at the beginning of the fourth. It's in nobody's head, it clicked. Hey, let's do something different offensively. Let's drive the big thing.

SPEAKER_01

Let's start talking up threes.

SPEAKER_00

Let's let's dribble the let's dribble the ball out. Let's dribble the clock out. Let's attack the basket. I don't think it's gonna be. When San Antonio was winning, Dylan Harper is the second best player. What does Dylan Harper do? He attacks the basket and gets to the real. Castle can attack the basket and get to the real. Why didn't nobody attack the basket and go to the real? And then they all it looked like all of them choke, and you can tell me what you think. It looked like all of them got uncomfortable except for the sale. It's like the sale was trying, but his game is to shoot threes. So that's what he was doing. And then Fox. I don't know, bro. Like, I don't even know what to say to Fox.

SPEAKER_01

That's that, that's that University of Kentucky Education. That's what I'm blaming it on.

SPEAKER_00

Man, I always say that's a UK shit. Every time. But you can't say that because Taylor's on uh go ahead, the Taylor's on other side.

SPEAKER_01

Make a smart place.

SPEAKER_00

No, I don't even I can't even blame the UK stuff. I don't know what to blame it on. I don't that's the greatest comeback you ever gonna see in the final. It happened yesterday. It didn't 24 hours, yeah. And I still can't make sense of it. Nobody made a basket, nobody can make a basket. Y'all put up 76 in the first hand, y'all can only put up 37 in the second hand. 30 something. All y'all had to do was put up 40, y'all would have won a game.

SPEAKER_01

Milk the clock a little bit, don't chuck up threes.

Is The Series Over

SPEAKER_01

God, it question for you though. Is the series over? Should we just go ahead and get that uh Larry LB trophy etched with the New York Knicks name on it? Or or do we think uh the second time in the NBA history of teams gonna come back from 3-1?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, when you say old, do you mean over in game five or game six? Because I mean it's as far as San Antonio ain't winning.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, do you about that? Is it gonna get to a game seven?

SPEAKER_00

That when I said that so no, it's not getting to a game seven. No, okay. I don't I don't you can't you can't trust San Antonio at this point. Because like you said it perfectly. They've been in an elite game, it's been the same thing every game. But they could only close out one of the four games.

SPEAKER_01

And San Antonio should be up 3-1.

SPEAKER_00

They should be up 3-1. So my thing with game five, and I want to know what you think, because Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals, you saw them quit in game three. You saw it. You they it was a uh defense, I think it was Brunson or it might have been an Anobi. Somebody came through and laid the ball up, and they was all looking at each other. And you saw it just go. And then Donovan Mitchell came out hot in the full in game four, but there was nobody else going with him. So he even then it was like, all right, y'all got it. I feel like you, hey, you got a team come back by 29 points. I don't, I can't trust your demeanor going into a game five, even if it's at home.

SPEAKER_01

Only thing that I think it might do for him, because again, each game went the same way, they've jumped onto a double-digit lead. Maybe this would finally be made. I don't know why the first three wasn't a wake-up call. But maybe this is finally the wake-up call say, hey, we need to keep our foot on this gas. We don't, no matter if we have 30 or 40, keep our foot on this gas until the game is over. I do think they have potential to get to get this to a game seven. If they get this to a game seven, who knows what's gonna happen? I think they can win game, they'll win game five. I don't think they're gonna go out like that. Obviously, game six would be the can they do it in New York? I think they can. I'm not gonna say they will. I'm not gonna put no money on it. But I do think I would not be shot if they bring it to a game seven. Now, once they get to a game seven, we'll see what happens. I think they're talented. Maybe this can be a wake-up call. And maybe who knows? The New York Knicks, maybe they'll get to holl on the hog and get maybe feel like they got this in the bag. But I do know one thing. I don't think the Spurs will, if the the Spurs may not let them get it, the Knicks get a 20-point lead at any point in these next couple games, because I feel like they might quit if they get down like 20 points. We obviously we obviously know that the Knicks ain't gonna quit if you go if they go down 30 points. But I think the Spurs, they need to keep it within 15, 10, 15 points. If they go down 20, I think they might quit.

SPEAKER_00

I think they will quit. I don't have no I have no faith in game five. I just don't. I I want them to win game five so we get more basketball out of it. And it'd be more of a storyline, but I can't I can't be confident in a team that just lost 29 points because they're not confident in themselves. If you pull a 29-point lead, how confident are you in yourself? It's only so many peptops of one game at a time. I don't know how far that's gonna work for me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, game five is Saturday. Game six will be Tuesday, June 6th, if necessary. So that means what, game seven will probably be a Thursday?

SPEAKER_00

Probably Friday.

SPEAKER_01

I hope it's Thursday. We can do a live reaction. We can do a live reaction on Friday. So now I'm definitely open for a game seven if it's on Friday. But we'll see, it's just it's a lot of people say you hey, you you gotta win it when you get there. Now with the Spurs, do you feel that same way? Do you feel like yeah, you gotta win it when you get there? But that's so young, that's so talented. Fox will probably be gone, but everybody else, that rest of that core, will be there. Do you think they they're capable of getting back here?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think they're capable because Wimby will get better, Stefan Castle will get better, Dylan Harper will get better, but Sale will continue to develop his game. Like you said, they need a power forward. I saw an interest in Trey. Better backup, too. Better backup center. Oh, yeah, better backup center. I saw an interest in trade about because they need a power forward. Julius Randle for De'Aaron Fox. And that's in a heartbeat. That don't you're not dependent on Randall to do anything. Because people say Randall's moopy and moody, and he'll get in his own head. You're not depending on him to do nothing. He's the fourth option. So that would work, and then for Minnesota, they need a point guard. Yeah, you need somebody that's gonna run with Ann. If you can't go get Giannis out of Minnesota, Fox ain't look, we can't act like Fox is not a bad as a bad player because in the fact Fox made some bad plays in game four, but he's also one of the he's also part of the reason why they even got here because he was the only one making clutch shots.

SPEAKER_01

He's definitely winning them from games in this playoff series.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So, I mean, it's a I mean to me it sounds like a friend trade to me.

SPEAKER_01

To me, I like it. Yeah, it get it gets, I don't know what the money is. I think Julius Randle's making less than Fox. Gets less money up, gets more not as much money on the books for the Spurs. So, hey, I ain't

NCAA Gambling Case And Court Ruling

SPEAKER_01

mad at it. But we got some more nonsense to talk about in the college football world. Uh TexTech quarterback transferred from Cincinnati named Brandon Soresby. Uh, he put himself into rehab and openly admitted that he bet and has a gambling addiction and bet on games with the team that he was currently a part of when he was in Indiana and Cincinnati. Specifically a lot with Indiana, like over half a million dollars of bets, or like 900,000 bets, not just with college football, but just in general, 900,000 bets. And obviously, bets wise on the Indiana football team for and specifically, there was a bet that he bet the under for the quarterback's passing yards in the first half for Indiana. That's the most egregious one from our perspective. But he openly admitted, put himself in rehab. Uh the NCAA was like, ah nah. Can't have it. Got bang you. Now, we all know gambling is a big no-no. Now, apparently, not apparently, he wasn't doing the point-shaving aspect of gambling, which is obviously he probably wouldn't have played football ever again in his life, but he was still gambling, which is still a big no-no. Because you know, when you're a part of a team, you know things that nobody else would know, this, that, etc. So he was still gonna have an opportunity to play in the NFL. He would have to go to supplemental draft or wait till next year's NFL draft, but he's supposed to be being this whole football teaser. What Brandon Swordby did, and this is on Brandon Swordby, Texas Tech did support him, because they would like their quarterback, obviously. He basically swinged, found up a lawyer, they found a judge. They went to one judge, he was a Texas Tech alone. He's like, now I gotta recruise myself. Shout out to him. They went to another Texas judge. He's a Houston alone, a retired judge, from what I heard, but still, he's in the area. He probably wants, you know, some good, some good PR. He basically gave him an injunction. And people are saying, oh, that just makes like he won the case. He didn't win the case. All that does is just put the case on hold. And the way the legal system works, sometimes it works at a snail's pace, it puts it on hold, and because it puts it on hold, it makes him eligible, guilty until proved innocent type of thing. And they made the case for February, something sometime in February. In other words, they will revisit the case after the college football season ends. And at that point, he's played the full season, and he can just drop the case, wipe his hands up again. So basically he's eligible. There's been a lot of backfire with this, a lot of people upset, most of social media upset. Um, some some crazy backfire. Um Georgia and Nebraska, they're ADs. They came out and said, not just football, they was like, hey, they went to all their coaches. Do not schedule Tex-Tech in any sport. Not football, not basketball, not volleyball, not water polo, not uh esports. Don't schedule Tex-Tech. If you got them on your schedule, come to me, we're gonna get them all. Now, obviously, that's not the Big 12 where Texas Tech is at. That's the Big Ten in the SEC, but still, there's some rumors that some Big teams want to not play those games, but it's a lot going on. In other words, it's a lot. But I want to get your opinion on this whole situation. I know I said a lot. Want to give you some time to speak.

SPEAKER_00

So I'm torn. So when we first, I had heard about the story, but I didn't know a lot of information about it. Like you gave me a lot of information on it. So then knowing we're gonna do the pod, I did some research, did some listening of some podcasts, trying to further gain knowledge of the situation. And my first thought was gambling is a no. It's not what you're supposed to do. You're not you're not supposed to gamble, you're also not supposed to gamble on your team. I think that's where the issue for me lies is you gambled on your team. If you gambled on any other softball team, you shouldn't do it because you were athlete, but okay. Here's my thing though. In every aspect of sports nowadays, there is sponsorships for gambling websites. Every every hell, I didn't try to get us. You know what I mean? Like every aspect of sports, there's gambling, whether it's fan duel, underdog, something, something, something, whatever, whatever. I don't gamble a bunch of knowledge while I know. You know what I mean? But every aspect there's gambling. So if it's in his face so much, how can you, the NCAA, say, nah, you shouldn't gamble? When at the commercial break of the game he's playing, there's gonna be two gambling commercials. It's gonna be two comes about gambling websites. FanDuel's gonna say something, or underdog's gonna say something, or whatever. How can they in good faith say we shouldn't we need to suspend you because you did this wrong? But we okay with it when it's putting pockets in all these schools' uh programs. I mean pockets. When they put money in these schools' pockets. But there's also always been the golden rule of you don't gamble on your own team. Well, take it back. You don't gamble at all, but you definitely don't gamble on your own team. But then you gamble the under under your story quarterback, but you know that y'all weren't gonna throw it that much, so it was easy money for you. Yeah. So I've been trying to decide this entire time. Since I knew we were gonna talk about it. I think that was Monday. Like how I stand on this. And I still to this day, I'm still walking. I'm still on the fence. Because I see I see both aspects of it. I also see the part of like what's help, what's gonna help him with his gambling addiction. Even it's being around the culture of it, being around the people that support you, being around your teammates and all that that's gonna uplift you. But also in hindsight, well not in hindsight, but to me, it's also that also puts you in more positions to gamble. Because again, you know that we already seen that you're gonna gamble on your team. So you're gonna be dead.

SPEAKER_01

And that's the thing. I think that's what's bad about like he was still gonna probably get the opportunity, well, he was still gonna probably still is gonna get the opportunity to play in NFL. Whether he becomes a star or starter, who knows? But now that's you know, say there's a Tex Tech, they're down a touchdown, it's fourth and three, and he overthrows a receiver. Now people are gonna wonder. You what you what you had, what you had, the spread or something, you just got money line or something, they they just gonna wonder. So as as is terrible optics. I I I agree with I with the NCAA, I just think, okay, you gamble. It was you wasn't point shaving. You know, if you don't know what point shaving is, that's basically if you actually affected, you placed the band or had someone placement band, and you actually affected the stuff you chose purposely to cover the spread or cover the over under on your passenger as you purposely, as a player, did that in the game. He didn't do that. That's the Cardinal team for real, for real. So he was still gonna get the opportunity to place NFL football. I was if I'm the incident, hey, you just you be you gambled. I understand you came to us, but you got we gotta sit you down. You can play in the NFL, but you can't play in college no more. I feel like that was a fair, fair ruling, fair punishment, especially since he was gonna get the ability to play professionally. So, but he wants to play for Texas Tech.

SPEAKER_00

If you Texas Tech, you already paid for him to come to your school. You already signed a contract. So, of course, if he wants to sue Yes Gonna play back, we're gonna support you in that decision because in fact, that also helps us win our Big 12. I win the Big 12 possibly and then go to the playoffs. Yeah. And then I've seen people online talking about of course he did this in Texas, where he's more likely to get a favorable outcome because he's in Texas. But I was listening to uh um I can't Tony Korhas, I think it's McGee. I can't think of Ryan McGee. And he talked about how it's only two places where you could uh even put this in the court system. It's either in Texas where it's happening where it's attracting you, or in Indiana, where the NCAA is. So you're not gonna go to Indiana because the NC it's NCAA backyard. It's an old game for them. So he had no choice, but you know, it wasn't like he could contrive uh try it in California. No, it wasn't possible. You talked about him still having an NFL for I don't know if I would want him on my team.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, I'm with you when you're right. I'm just going by A. He was still gonna be able to be in the supplemental draft. It's too late now, but he was still gonna be able to play NFL football now. He's good. Apparently, huh? He'll still have the opportunity that yeah. I mean, nearly especially since he's playing. Nell, apparently, you know, some scouts said he was potentially a top five quarterback. Um I looked and uh I watched a little Cincinnati last year, not uh not a lot, but I definitely watched a little bit more when this stuff came out. I mean, he's cool. He ain't he ain't arch. And I don't even think Arch is like that. Because Arch is still learning. He ain't Arch. So uh I think uh Lenore Sellers from South Carolina has more potential because he's Lenore Sellers is just a freak. Um so I I I don't think he's like that. So I mean he's cool. He ain't great. So I mean I'm sure a team would have picked him up, but I I don't know if he would have been a star in the NFL.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what I don't so I said. I don't even know if I want him in the team because simple fact you could he's basically gonna be a backup quarterback more than likely. You never want your backup to have too many distractions. Yep. Because you're the backup. You why is everybody going to your locker when the starting quarterback is over there? But they're looking at you because of the simple fact that you gamble. They're gonna be looking at you if you gambled on preseason games. And then he's only gonna well, he's gonna miss the first two games of this season in college. They're gonna be looking at you if you gamble, like you said, on every play this in college. So I don't know if I would want him on my team in college either. Now that I think about it, I went straight to thinking about NFL not him being on the team in college. I don't know if I want him on the team. Because simply back, it causes so much distractions. Now, if you ESPN or Fox, you want him on the team because people are gonna watch to see how he's playing. So it's gonna get more eyes on Texas Tech football. Texas Tech gonna be on TV every week. I think.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. Uh Texas Tech plays plays Cincinnati this year. Obviously, Cincinnati's in the Big 12, but Brandon Torres here, that's where he churched from. It was that was already must see TV. It's even it's even more must see TV. So now, like the biggest must-see TV games is whenever Texas Tech is playing in LSU versus Ole Miss. Those are the those are the biggest must see TV games actually in college football. You talk about it.

SPEAKER_00

It's that what LSU and Ole Miss was the game because simple fact you got less uh, not less male, Lane Giffin playing his former team, the whole situation that happened in the playoffs. But think about that. You don't get that type of atmosphere every week with Texas Tech. Oh, yeah. Because for the fact you know the signs and stuff is gonna be crazy. The crowd is gonna be crazy. It's every week with Texas Tech. Oh yeah, that's a money maker right there. But again, it's gonna be all type of fan doing commercials doing this Texas Tech game. So again, if it's in his face all the time.

SPEAKER_01

And he's claiming he's got he's an addict too, so it's not like he's basically saying, Hey, I got a problem. Been going through he's been going through therapy. Hopefully he's okay though.

SPEAKER_00

But I this the NCAA's been having a problem as far as transform portal NIL. And you got a kid gambling, and he's still gonna be able to play the following season. The NCAA, look, we always knew the NCAA was, you know. They couldn't force, they couldn't have forced nothing. They couldn't even force a parking ticket. We already knew that. We knew they couldn't force nothing. This just made the NCAA look like a bunch of nothing.

SPEAKER_01

They just an entity now.

SPEAKER_00

But the NCAA's problem is we can't enforce nothing, but everybody looks to us to force stuff. So let's run the Congress. But Congress is like, well, you gotta, you know, you gotta say that you pay these for labor. That's the one thing they never wanted to do.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, none of it. Now they gotta get a collective bargaining agreement. Once they get a collective bargaining agreement, that'll fix all this if they want to do it though.

SPEAKER_00

But they don't want to do that. That's the one thing they don't want to do. They want to keep what they have been doing for hundreds of years. Well, I ain't gonna say hundreds, hundreds plus years or whatever. Not paying the labor, or we in charge of the labor, and as well.

SPEAKER_01

Not considering these players employees. Yeah. They're employees, guys. Might as well call it what it is. Call a spade a spade. But yeah, that's the issue. Uh obviously, the from our perspective crew, we'll be on it if any more news breaks on

Stanley Cup Final Check-In

SPEAKER_01

that. But we gotta talk about another final series. This was actually being good. There's been no crazy stuff going on. But the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Hurricanes, they actually went final as the Carolina Hurricanes take a 3-2 series lead. So I know, Q, you've been watching it. How's the uh Stanley Cup been going?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, these games have been really good. You know, we always say we're gonna try to get into hockey, but we really don't be having time, especially the regular season. You still be having NFL and college going on, NBA starting to heat up. You know what I'm saying? October baseball's going on, then you get into college basketball. So NHL always gets put on the back burner. But when it comes down to at the Stanley Cup, we get time to watch it. The Canes and the uh Golden Knights have been putting on an incredible series. Look, man, Carolina scored what two, three goals in like 48 seconds. San Antonio couldn't score two or three points in 48 minutes, if y'all like. You know what I'm saying? The games have been really good. I am glad that I have taken the time to watch all of these watch all of these NHL playoff games. And like you said, with Carolina going up now, but we have seen that both of these teams proven they can win on the road.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because both of them, they go uh the Golden Knights swelled in the Western Compass Finals. So they already showed they could win on the road, also they won in Carolina. So it's going it's going back to uh Las Vegas for the next game. So let's see if what Carolina is gonna do is Las Vegas is gonna take care of home ice. I can't even say core.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, at least we're getting one good series so far out of this. Uh uh, that means uh the Stanley Cup will be in the building. It'll be in Las Vegas for game six. So we'll see if uh the Hurricanes can pull it out and actually bring that trophy.

SPEAKER_00

Hope the nice win. I hope for nice week because I want a game seven. Yeah, just about to get a game because we're not gonna get it to basketball. We're not getting a game, we're not getting a game seven in the NBA.

SPEAKER_01

We'll take a game seven any way we can get it. I know I'm looking forward
