Speaker 1Yep , and we've got a great guest lined up this week with the legend 44 Magnum . I can't wait to get 44 Magnum's take on this league and hear some fabulous stories from another one of the league's OGs right , I mean , he's one of the originals .
Speaker 1Yeah 44 Magnum . In my opinion , zach , I think he might be one of the better performers in terms of you know just the Yahoo levels . I mean he's tops in our league , right ? He's rated platinum in Yahoo . Looks like I've seen you know his stats in fantasy football in Yahoo since 09 . I think he's only been ranked silver twice since 09 . And that was in like from 09 , like two of those three years , so 09 to 2012, . He's been silver twice . Everything above that has been gold in like platinum .
Speaker 2And I know we'll talk about it too when we get him on here of some of the teams he's had , I mean , you know , historic books show that he has the , you know , highest ranked team , the most points scored in the season , things like that . Yep Overall finish , like you said , is , you know , probably one of the top ones in the league .
Speaker 1So I think his overall record since his history in Yahoo is close to 58% win percentage , which is one of the highest , if not the highest , in our league , so he's one of the good ones . I'm super excited to have him on and get his take on a whole things . So we'll talk with our guests . We have our guest discussion , as we always do , and we're going to talk league evolution , right , and this week's topic is the possible removal of kicker and maybe defense and special teams . We heard it's an ongoing trend with top money leagues and I know it's been introduced at the draft . What was kind of the take at draft this last year , was it ?
Speaker 2I think it was myself and 44 Magnum of in vote of eliminating the kicker . Not very many others wanted to , but , you know , curious to see if that's something going forward that he'd like to continue to vote for . Or was it something just last year ?
Speaker 1Yeah , I love it . I love that we're always thinking of ways to innovate , to kind of mix things up , not keep it the same . So excited to have that conversation with him . We'll also be discussing our latest installment of the Sunday Soldier top 12 countdown , which this week we're going to focus on speed or lack thereof from each soldier , which should be fun and a debated topic . Over the next week we're going to recap all the transactions and drama through week seven through eight and give you our latest take on what makes our league legendary with our league legendary moment . Netflix after the last episode if I'm being honest with you , I was very happy to hear that the investor group signed off on continuing production . I was a bit concerned we may not have this opportunity to spend together tonight after whatever that was that occurred last episode . Brother .
Speaker 1Yeah , I mean there was a few apology letters , you know , a few meetings that had to happen , a few waivers we had to sign , but you know we got it done and we're here and we're excited , we're pumped to have you on and I can't wait to get on with this episode . I'm excited .
Speaker 3Yeah , I'll tell you . I must say your production team is outstanding . The communication leading up to joining here was just first class all the way through .
Speaker 1So good to hear . So so good to hear . I can see them smiling in the background . They appreciate the kudos and , yeah , so pumped to have you here . So 44 Magnum , obviously we're excited to have you on here . I want you to tell us a little bit about , like , your history in this legendary league and also , like I want to know where 44 Magnum , where did that team name come from ?
Speaker 3Sure , absolutely First off , though , since I am in the presence of two champ cheers boys , of course , champ cheers Cheers boys . So , joining this league Sunday soldiers , by the way , the greatest fantasy football league on the planet earth , without question , and anyone who's in another league that'd like to debate that fact I welcome you to come and join us here and we can go heads up talking about why you think your league is greater than our league , and it's not an elitist thing , it's just a pride thing , it's just the fact that we love our league . So , netflix , I'd say I suppose I could be referred to potentially as a founding member . I don't know if that's appropriate vernacular , but we'll say from year one , so I'm believed , dating back to 2004 .
Speaker 3As we know , lawson found was the founder and has the naming rights to Sunday soldiers .
Fantasy Football League Dynamics and Strategies
Speaker 3I think we've discussed on previous episodes maybe some of the alleged indiscretions that may have occurred . That was allotted power and authority via the commissioner duties that he served within the app that we're using at the time . So we're now thankful to have Dizzle as our commissioner . But , yeah , I guess you could call me a founding member , dating back to 04 , when Lawson found originally founded us .
Speaker 2I think we talked about that last episode one of the OGs right . I think there's five or six left in the league now , so glad to have another one on .
Speaker 3You know that's a great point , Chiefs Kingdom and you being one of the newer members , relatively speaking . Have we talked about who's exited our league over the years ? Has that been discussed on your podcast yet ?
Speaker 1No , no official names have been discussed .
Speaker 3It's right .
Speaker 1We don't want to disparage anyone , but when we talk about , we have had discussions about how family members have been exiled right Because of how serious we take this league . You know , friends who were friends might be enemies . I mean , it's just one of those things that we take this series .
Speaker 3We're talking blood relatives , we're talking childhood friends . I would say it's the point is it's an honor to still be a part of Sunday Soldiers after all these years .
Speaker 1Could not agree more . Could not agree more . So tell me about the name 44 Magnum . Like you've had that name for as long as I think I've been in this league . Like where did that originate ? How did you land on that ? I mean , is there a story behind it at all ?
Speaker 3No , you know , no , no interesting story , just as it sounds , right say I'd argue , one of the greatest , at least handgun calibers has got some , some power behind it . And you know , every week , every season , we like to think that the 44 Magnum roster comes with some heat . So , yeah , really nothing too interesting , other than just it is what it is .
Speaker 1I like it . I like that you picked a name and it's just like . That's just you , right , that's what you identify as it's always been it . It hasn't changed . I just , I appreciate that . Now , obviously , we had for those of you that haven't heard or don't remember if this is your first time , we just experienced another on air champs cheers , right , which means that that only happens when you're kind of , like you know , in the presence with past Sunday Soldier champions , which Chiefs Kingdom , myself and 44 Magnum are all past champions .
Speaker 3We have a lot of past champions in the league , but most of that , most vets , a two time champ disels , a champion Old man flash is not . No , no , he is not Jaws and fences , I think he is . He's been in the league for years . Rich Richbone is not .
Speaker 1No , he is not now speaking of . You know champions , right ? So obviously you've been a champion . You tell us and the listeners how many times have you been champion ? Have you won any other prestigious awards , you know , over the years ? Are there any memories that are associated with any of those awards that you'd like to discuss ?
Speaker 3I mean this . This league is relentless . It's the most competitive of you know , I'm in a few other leagues , none of which compared to Sunday Soldiers . The level of competitiveness here is ridiculous . Since we've had the trophy , I believe my name's only on there a single time and I've had some strong finishes . We're very proud of our performance year in and year out , in our consistency .
Speaker 3Unfortunately , second , third place , that doesn't get your name on the trophy , so I'm only on there once . Sure , I'm sure I've had a . I'm sure I've had a . I'm sure I've had a last place finish or two over the years . One award I've never received , fortunately known as the jackass , now appropriately named the Bazinga award . Fortunately , knock on wood , I've I've yet to perform an act that was deemed worthy of by the 11 other league mates , so fortunately , I've avoided the Bazinga award over the years .
Speaker 3Now the champion , the championship trophy , for example , if I may , for a moment and I got to talk about you , talk about rival rivalries in the league , netflix Chiefs Kingdom I got a few bones to pick with him . He's relatively newer to our league . He's knocked me out not once , not twice , but I believe three times from playoffs , setting me up for what ? At least two of the years when you look at oh , what would have happened if you would have made it to the championship games ? I'd be on there a couple of times , namely 2018 , sound familiar Chiefs Kingdom , your champ , your championship season .
Speaker 2My team just knows that they play up to competition , they know who they're facing and they're ready to go every week that we have to play 44 Magnum .
Speaker 1Was that 2018 team Ken ? Was that the Patty Mahomes and George Kittle year ? Alvin Kamara .
Speaker 2Julio Jones .
Speaker 3I believe and our historian here , chiefs Kingdom could fact check I believe that was our highest scoring regular season team that we've seen .
Speaker 2Yes , it was , it was .
Speaker 3Okay , and yes , that's an auction year and I may have gone all in . I may have said hey , I'm not leaving this draft without my boy , julio Jones , one of my favorite players of all time , ab . God bless him and I wish him a mental recovery . Alvin Kamara with a career year that was it . I was out of money . I was down to dollar players , netflix , of which I had my eyes on that . Their second year , first year , starting quarterback . Within that , andy Reed offense , who was taken over for the great , none other than who Netflix , your favorite quarterback of all time .
Speaker 1The Alex Smith .
Speaker 3The Alex Smith and I've got eyes on Patty Mahomes and I thought for sure Chiefs Kingdom , who had $2 left to bid when I threw out Patty at a dollar , was gonna buy him from me . So when said I threw out Matt Stafford , who I had heard Bertie or , excuse me , chiefs Kingdom talking about previously leading up to Draft Day , he bid for $2 and left Patrick Mahomes for $44 , magnum for $1 .
Speaker 2Such a good team .
Speaker 1You also got Kittle for a dollar , I believe as well .
Speaker 3I made a Draft Day mistake . I had him crossed off my board . I thought George Kittle was not and again , I spent all my money early . So now we get down to dollar player land . I think I had 7 or 8 picks to myself . Everyone else was eating tacos , drinking beer , driving home and I was sitting there drafting alone for a minute and there's George Kittle sitting on the board . I had him marked off . I was gonna take a different tie-down , I believe- .
Speaker 1Somebody sent you a text no .
Speaker 3I think you said I'm surprised you're out on our boy and Jaws and Fences said Kittle's still on the board . How is that not your pick ? So then I went with Kittle for a dollar , with a little assist from the two of you . Career year with 1,300 yards , double digit touchdowns . Point is Mahomes , camara , ab Julio Kittle Forget who else was on that squad . The points were ridiculous . We ran into Chiefs Kingdom in week 15 playoffs . That was the end of that dream team .
Speaker 2It was Well . I knew that , if you know , coming into the league , that I had to get one of those trophies early on , because it wasn't gonna get easier , and it hasn't , obviously . I haven't won one since .
Speaker 3It's darn near impossible . And then COVID hit and became upside down . I think Chiefs Kingdom and I and maybe the next year Dizzle lowest records . Flirt with last place . You got people like Bazinga winning a championship , so we got thrown for a bit of a loop during the COVID year . To be fair , we did .
Speaker 1Now , ken , I'd , like you know , look looking back and talking about 2018 . You it seems like you took it and I remember this because I remember that year and you know I look up to your fantasy football abilities . You took a similar approach this year In drafting to 2018 , it was it was fairly similar of going all in on a core , maybe four players .
Speaker 3I'm a huge fan of the auction format . You're asking me snake draft versus auction . If you're in a league out there that still does a snake draft , bless you for playing . We appreciate the activity . But , my goodness , somebody step up and propose to your commissioner , whoever makes the decisions , switch to an auction In an auction environment . If you say Travis Kelsey is coming home to me and you tell it one of your good friends , chiefs Kingdom , who also says Travis Kelsey is coming home to him , all off season there's one moment , one defining moment on draft day , when I'm at $55 and he's too scared to go to 56 , travis Kelsey comes home to me . Doesn't matter if I have the third pick , the ninth pick , the tenth pick . If you want the guy , you go and get him .
Speaker 2Don't you Chiefs Kingdom ? That's it . No , you're absolutely right , and I couldn't go 56 for whatever reason . I wish I would have now , but so how's that draft strategy ?
Speaker 1Because I believe you win a core four this year , right ?
Speaker 3I did . So we went with . We went with Jamar Chase , who served me well over the years , Travis Kelsey , who I promised Chiefs Kingdom would be part of 44 Magnum this season , and then CD Lamb . He had a ripping game before the buy , Before that , so you all were giving me a hard time Talking to him . He doesn't have the juice , His quarterback isn't . You know , he's bottom tier . Cd's going to get his targets and I had DK Metcalf . He's Mr Consistentness . You have no , no concerns there . The challenge everyone listening in is where you're running backs . So you go all in like that and you say that's an outstanding PPR receiving core plus Travis Kelsey , 44 Magnum . You have no running backs .
Speaker 2So what'd you do next with your running backs ? You just went ahead and drafted the entire Miami Miami Dolphins backfield .
Speaker 3As a 49er fan I've been following . I've been following coach McDaniel for some time now . Not McDaniel's jaws and fences , who Davis finally let go of , by the way . Your welcome Raider nation . I made that phone call for y'all . But Mike McDaniel , out there in Southern Florida , that man loves to run the ball , he loves speed , think Chiefs Kingdom knows a thing or two about , and he loves getting his running backs out in the flat and giving them some PPR action , some receptions . So yeah , I was heavy Rahim Moster . I missed out on Davon HHan , as he likes to be called , on draft day . Rich Bone , who's currently in first place , took him three picks before me when we were down to dollar players . I was quite frustrated to not leave that draft with both Rahim Moster and Davon HHan . Fortunately , rich Bone is ye of little faith and dropped aforementioned HHan , to which I was able to pick him up the week before he had his blow up . Thank you for that , rich Bone . He will be seeing you in the playoffs this year .

Speaker 1That's so good , so good . So , ken , being one of the OGs right , I know that you've got . I mean , you've experienced so much in this league , right , you've experienced way more than me and Zac have combined . You've seen members come and go , you've been a part of all kinds of events . I'd love for you just to kind of take this time and walk us through any memories stories . Whatever stands out , I'd love for you to share with a listener .
Speaker 3Yeah , let's spend some time . Let's talk about some of the things that make our league great . You could probably do an entire segment on . You mentioned members that have come and gone , on the members who have exited . We're not going to spend any time talking about that today .
Switching to Auction Draft From Snake Draft
Speaker 3Draft day story let's talk about , I believe , our first year moving from a snake draft to an auction draft . Again , if you're listening , you're in a league out there who's not yet adopted the auction platform and moved away from traditional waiver wires , by the way , and gone and said to a fab budget . I strongly recommend you start the petitioning now for your league .
Speaker 2Do you know how long you guys went the snake draft for ? About how many years you started that before finally switching to the auction ?
Speaker 3That's an incredible question , especially coming from our league historian . So I don't know if you're , alex Trebek and me right now dropping like the question because you already know the answer . I'm going to say so . If we've been active since 04 , you're talking 18 , 19 plus years we haven't done more than seven or eight auctions , so we were probably snake for nine years , gotcha .
Speaker 1Yeah , I think it was probably 2015, . Somewhere around there 2015 .
Speaker 3And what would that mean ? We've done eight , nine auctions . Maybe that sounds right , that sounds right .
Speaker 1We've done it in 2011 and we did a snake for a good three to five years . I felt so yeah , so probably right around 2015, . 2016 is when we made that switch .
Speaker 3Yeah , and did the app support auctions at the time ? I don't think so . Do they support fab ? I don't think so . We were on a CBS platform . Yahoo is far superior at this point . If you're in an ESPN league , my goodness , I feel for you and this is coming from someone Well , first year playing fantasy football 1994 . Your scores were calculated out of the local newspaper that Tuesday morning following your week . Your lineups , your commissioner had a dedicated landline phone with an answering machine , a device with a cassette tape in it . Chief's Kingdom I know that's way before you were born . You'd call in your lineups , trade requests , et cetera , leaving on an answering machine the Yahoo app's phenomenal Draft day story , yes sir .
Speaker 1You mean , then you probably had one of these four players on your roster , either Steve Young .
Speaker 3Steve Young . Steve Young my first year , steve Young was my QB . That was my introduction to fantasy football . I've been hooked ever since . Thank you , steve Young .
Speaker 3Draft day story . So going back to I believe it's our first year doing an auction and when we have our draft days . This past year I think everyone was sober and focused . But prior to Chief's Kingdom getting his turn in 21 , which was recently , we weren't allowed to drink during draft days . So there was a prohibition period there when we had well , I think here is actually a minor I think it's data that signs permission slip for us to join us . So we had a bit of a prohibition period . But way back when draft day was , that was a day to partake and tendered . It would partake with the best of them and there was an auction draft , I believe our first time . He employed I think accidentally a similar style that you described for myself here in Netflix of spending most of his money early , to the point where he said I'm going to go and partake and take a little mid draft nap and rest up and recover for the back half of this thing , so Tendered it is Passed out . I'm talking 3 am , 19 year old , shouldn't be party in first time , away from home , passed out this . This man is gone , lights out .
Speaker 3There's a player , I can't remember the name . I'm in for about $7 . I've got them valued . Let's call it $15 16 . I'm excited right now . I'm mad this person I'm coming in . I'm targeted with them . I've got the bid at $7 .
Speaker 3Auctioneer , which , by the way , third-party auctioneers . It's the only way to do this . Third-party auctioneer going once , going twice , but the second they hit that s sound on sold . Here's tenor to Popping up out of his 11 year slumber Yep , I'm in To which . Everyone in the room looks around and goes . Tenor to do . You even know who we're bidding on ? Nope , no idea . But I need them on my team . Well , that cost me an extra two dollars . Yeah , $9 , ship it . I got a $14 . Yep , I'm still in Point is end up spending about 16 bucks on this player . Go from this value . I still go home with them . Tenor did cost me at least $9 of auction dollars Sold . I look over to start talking some smack and getting on a bit . The dude , no joke has already passed out again . Sound asleep . Again . Tender did out there . I will never forget that you owe me $9 of auction value .
Speaker 1That's so good . I that was that . Um , that was that Superman's house that that happened . Uh-uh , yeah , it was about a year or two before that Was was . Was that the same year that Justin thought he had a specific player ?
Speaker 3your top up JMF , ours . $42 bid on on what the D mecca shoot , not the neck , or Ryan's Murray , demarco Murray , demarco deMarco Murray running back Cowboys . There's a $42 bid on DeMarco Murray . I Thought he had thought he had him thought he had him .
Speaker 3Yeah , yeah , it was a classic moment , for sure because he he stopped bidding on players for like a good hour , hour and half , because he thought he had that that might have been the highest leftover dollar amount or what would normally be a dollar player , and he just had so much money left , I think spent $28 on his last player of the draft a defense or something , because that's all he had left .
Speaker 2Yeah , he was not happy ?
Speaker 3he's probably not . If he listens to this , he's probably not gonna be too happy . You hey , jmf R , I did not bring that up . That was someone else brought that up apologies , jmfr .
Speaker 1I mean it's one of those classic draft a stories that just stands the test of time . I mean there are so , so many like you , like , like , like you said 44 Magnum , like we could devote an entire episode to auction draft Moments that , oh , we could do .
Speaker 3Moments we could talk strategy , which we could talk about , some of the dream teams , the auctions , wild people come out with these dream teams Sometimes , and other times you come out with what looks to be a really good roster and you lose half your squad after week , three Trials and tribulations at Fence football one of one of the coolest things about Sunday soldiers , though I know we talked about this , most likely doing every episode at least all the ones I've listened to Draft , a draft weekend , so much more than just the selection of and building our rosters . It's truly become an event in of itself . Have we talked about and we've given the respect do yet to jaws and fences for these first class poker tournaments that he runs ? Have we talked about this yet ?
Poker Tournaments, Combine, and Golf Stories
Speaker 2I'll get attorneys every single year , every year . I .
Speaker 3Mean you're talking about . You get a Schedule presented to you , printed and laminated the blind schedule , rebuy options , f a , cues to the floor if we have newer players with us . I mean jaws and fences when he's up , when he's in poker floor mode . It's just that it's a next level of intensity and focus .
Speaker 2Absolutely . I think you said right there is next level . It's every tournament we have his next level , every year it's . It just keeps getting better and better every single year .
Speaker 3Just the experience that he produces new decks , new chips . There's drink service on hand . Typically it ends in a chop of sorts , right , you make no mistake about it's a cutthroat , competitive tourney , netflix and chills plus . One knows what I'm talking about , right , we typically become friendly once we're down the final three or four players . Well , so long as they're Sunday soldiers . If , if , if they're not soldiers , we're not chopping . Chiefs Kingdom , you are the final group with me this year saw payday . No , isn't that nice . A poker tournament hit to pay for your buy-ins the next day , or a chunk of them . I'll tell you what the Zynga's been in that final group chop and tournament winnings multiple years , Multiple , to be fair , as we all know , we hear about every time we talk to him . He has extensive professional series experience . I'm actually not quite sure , netflix , how fair it is For Bazinga to be playing with us based upon the time that he spent on the tour .
Speaker 1He just has so much firsthand knowledge of how you know a poker tournament is supposed to go . I mean it's no surprise he's in that position Each and every poker night during draft week .
Speaker 3I mean he's been heads up with Chris moneymaker Johnny Chan , with Phil . I mean the busy has been in there with the best of them .
Speaker 1Absolutely absolutely .
Speaker 3Do you all , we do y'all , remember the combine , the draft activity of the combine that we had ?
Speaker 2Yes , that was . That was my first year in the league , oh .
Speaker 3Was this 2018 ? Oh good , 2018 . I don't like thinking about that year . That was the first year at once . That combine was Unbelievable . Thank you to the car family and invited us out to the residents there in California , do you ? David and Derek's father is an exceptionally large human being , not not that he's like overly , doesn't look like a weightlifter , he's just . He's just everything on , he's just huge . I'm what ? Six , four , two and a quarter . I felt like a 12 year old standing next to that man . That combine was an incredible time . What would we do , netflix ? We measured virts , bench reps , 40 time throwing drills , if I , if I'm right , if I'm not mistaken , I believe it was you and I in the finals for the throwing skills competition . But you know , and not starting tonight against myself , which is , which is great , because it looks like he's had a , you know , another good week this week as well , and and starting pickings with his , I Think he has one catch tonight , maybe two catches .

The zinga Refuses to pay less than five or six dollars for a kicker and an auction league where every other kicker goes for one dollar . I don't get to see justin tucker . Okay , I just wanted to get that off my this is true .
Speaker 3So , yes , I did nominate during our nominations , potential future rule changes . I did propose a concept of removing the kicker position From one of your starting nine roster spots on a weekly basis . Full disclosure . I don't know if I'm completely bought into that decision . I knew for certain it would not get a unanimous or the required votes for a yes this week For this season . Excuse me , yep , but I will tell you that more and more leagues are going to a non kicker format . Now , as someone who has lost a championship to superman Due to the performance of a kicker on a monday night , you could say I have a personal vendetta against kickers . I do not . I do not . I've seen some what we'll call advanced , expensive , buy-in , high-end , we'll call them leagues that have all abolished the kicker roster spot . I put it to a vote . I voted yes . Chiefs kingdom voted yes . I think we had a third . My prediction is by 2028 we will have enough pro votes and we will have removed the kicker position from the sunday soldiers league .

Mike Evans had had a great night and I lost because of a 19 point performance from Evan McPherson who booted a couple 50 yarders . And then , just this last week , I had a healthy lead 17 points , and change this is against .

Speaker 1And here's the thing it was in our league if you miss from under , from 39 yards and below , you get negative two points , which was huge because I was winning by less than a point . So an extra point or a field goal I'm done . So when he misses that , I now go up by more than a point , which protects me if Detroit gets a touchdown and they have to kick an extra point . So I was running throughout the house because when you're 0 and 6 and you win two in a row and you go from 12th to 9th , you run around the house elated .

Then him and his buddies are doing in season drafts . It's all just in the last few weeks . It's very exciting . I've not pushed this on . I've been very careful to not push this on , unlike some parents will do with their passions in life . Yep , ok , so we're watching this game together . He's got my phone . He's looking at League matchups . So who's in it ? Who needs what ? Teaching them ? Netflix ? Have you met my son before ?

Speaker 3OK , dizzle is Uncle Dizzle to my son , correct ? He's family to my son , ok , so that's what I'm saying . Don't take this the wrong way . He got emotionally invested in the comeback story for Dizzle . My son was cursing your name when Raleigh Patterson missed that phone call . Who is this Netflix guy that thinks he's going to beat Uncle Dizzle ? Kicks the 50 yarder . He goes get him Uncle Dizzle . He's rooting against you and for Dizzle about as hard as a 13 , 14-year-old could root for his uncle . And yeah , he was devastated when Patterson shanked that .

In fact , we'll go least fastest to fastest , right . So coming in at number 12 , we've got Bazinga right . Yeah , fair , I mean I don't really need to go too much into it . Bazinga's sitting there at number 12 .
Speaker 1I think these next kind of four spots is where it's going to get a little chippy . We might have some good water cooler action this week if people going back and forth , which is what we live for in this league . So , coming in at number 11 , we've got JMFR . Now , part of the reason that I think he comes in at number 11 is , unfortunately , he had some extracurricular work activities during draft week and we didn't get to see him on the football field . So I'm basing this off of the combine that we had a couple of years ago , and so this is what the production team says . Number 11 is is JMFR . Coming in at number 10, . We've got Jaws and Fences right . Jaws and Fences comes in at number 10 . I think Jaws and Fences is that he's that inside linebacker on the flag football team . He makes tackles but he's not going to beat you in a foot . Race right . And then we've got coming in at number 9 , we've got Mr Rich Bone 007 .
Speaker 2Yep , and like you said , I think those four , kind of you know you groove them together , there is , yeah , let's you know , the race one , the race two , like it could be something there right , I think .
Speaker 1I think numbers nine through 11 would make for a great preliminary race prior to the race . Two dot , oh right , I think that would be great . Coming in at number eight , we've got Mr Mosvet himself .
Speaker 2Right , and I think in flag football this year there were a couple plays where he showed a little bit of speed . He did . I was a little bit , you know , surprised that Mosvet could get off the ball that quick . And so , yeah , I think eight is fair .

And this one , I think , is surprising , because if I would not have seen this person that sits at number six , if I wouldn't have experienced what I experienced during the flag football tournament , I think he might have come in later . Mr Dizzle comes in at number two . Now I'm told that age may play a factor in this ranking , given that the number one , chiefs birdie , just turned 21 just a few years ago . Right , dizzle's coming in late 30s , early 40s In fact . I don't even know how old he is . So youth may play a factor in this .

May the best man win . All right . So this week's legendary moment , we highlight competition outside of fantasy football .
Speaker 1One of the great things about this league , as you've heard , is that it expands outside of fantasy football .
Speaker 1Right , I mean , we generated a lot of buzz pre-draft week on what was dubbed the race between Old man , flash and myself , netflix and Chill . Now , people chose their odds on favorite , made rash decisions based on the eye test , side bets were made leading up to draft week 2023 . Well , all that buzz , smack , talk and side bets led to quite the event , right ? Absolutely . I mean , it was just one of those just added events that happens in draft week that just generates so much buzz and so excitement , and we just can't wait for draft week . So it's just one of those little additives that we're able to do that adds to an already great league . So , if you're not already taking your league outside of the app outside of the group chat . Our advice to you is get outside , challenge each other , find extracurricular activities , make some bets , have some drinks , create some annual events that create some buzz and will ultimately raise the status of your league . Well , chief's Kingdom , a lot went on these past two weeks right , Absolutely so much going on .
