The New Nation of Islam Teachings Breakdown: Religion, Scripture & Community Activism
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Two flags on the screen. One claim that rattles the room. And a tour through decades of work that you can actually visit. We sit down with the man who calls himself the Son of Man to unpack why symbols matter, how scripture becomes instruction, and where belief shows up as brick, payroll, and service.
We start with the visual language: quarter moons, a star for justice, and a uniform striped for Torah, Gospel, and Quran merging into one voice. From there, we press into the origin of his title, the scriptures he cites to justify it, and how he answers the “you’re crazy” chorus by pointing to clarity, accountability, and a different reading of justice. No hedging, no evasions—just open lines and a standing invitation to out-explain him on the text.
Then we get to the receipts. Salons in Detroit and Fayette. A bakery, tailoring, a print shop, and an automotive space. Tech services from computer installs to drone training. Licensed professionals, generators humming, buses rolling. Clean rooms, polite staff, and a rulebook that bans poison and rewards discipline. He frames membership as free will and usefulness—stay in class, test the claims, then put your skills to work. The standard is straightforward: treat people the way you want to be treated, and let the storefronts prove the sermon.
If you care about faith that pays rent on a real address, about Islam’s ties to the Bible, about community-building that doesn’t wait for permission, this conversation is a map and a mirror. Hit play, share it with someone who thinks belief can’t build, and leave us a review with the one question you’d ask next. Subscribe for part two as we unpack the full economic program and bring the video evidence to the feed.

Mic Check And Introductions
SPEAKER_01Oh wow, my my mic was shut off. What is going on, everybody out there? It's Ron Brown LMT, the people's fitness professional. You already know. I'm actually a fitness professional. If you don't know by now, after I've been doing this for two and a half years and uh ever saw me online or what have you, I really do this for real. Anyway, uh, Brother Center Man, where did you go? I don't know. Where's the brother Center Man?
unknownI'm here.
Symbols On The Flag And Uniform
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay. Okay, that's uh I I like that uh I like that uniform you have on there. Let's go with that question right there. I already know, I already know uh it's a it's a uh I'm sorry, I I got this from Morris Science, right? The first quarter moon and the and the fourth quarter moon, but you could say the first quarter moon and the last quarter moon, right? All right, all right. So um sometimes I get mixed up, right? Sometimes. All right, so um the uniform that you have on, we you already explained the flag. The flag is the uh first quarter and last quarter, and then the the uh the star in the middle symbolizes justice, right? So now what does the red symbolize?
SPEAKER_03That's the sun, and the red symbolizes freedom as the sun shines on the just as well as the unjust, in equal whatever uh the sun shines on, however, much of the sunlight that thing can take, the sun gives it. And so uh the sun has always been a symbol for freedom.
SPEAKER_01Okay, now uh the the white on the star and uh on the star in the crest.
SPEAKER_03So actually, the the white is the light. You notice uh the our eyes, we see uh the universe when the sun is up, we see it through a veil of white light. And you notice you shine a flashlight in a dark room and you see a white spot on the wall. And so that is uh white is the just the color of light, that's all. Okay, you know, the star itself represents justice as it justifies its existence, because if it wasn't there, it would be dark in that spot where you see that star. So it's justified to be there because it gives light where it would have been darkness.
SPEAKER_01All right, so as far as um the uniform, right? So uh from what I know, the typical FOI uniform is like plain suit, right? Uh uh basic black, right? Or uh uh navy blue.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, navy blue, and I have different color. We had navy blue, and we had when the messenger was there, we had beige or a light tan. And uh, like the you see these, uh, if you look at look at my uh sleeve, uh you'll see three stripes on there of white, and then you see a uh a stripe going up the arm and surrounding the flags and all the way uh to uh the beneath my throat there. And that is uh the three scriptures they represent the Torah, the gospel, and the holy Quran, and they become one in that white stripe that you see going up the sleeve, and they become one when I speak them, and that's that's what that uh stripes in the in the in the uniform represent.
SPEAKER_01Now, in a new nation of Islam, what is your official title?
SPEAKER_03Son of man, I'm the son of man, as the honorable Elijah Muhammad. Uh, just a moment. I'll let you hear him say it.
SPEAKER_02Um this is uh for those who are familiar with the with the uh messenger.
SPEAKER_04Uh oh man, you make the judge and is known as the son of man.
SPEAKER_03So so that is um what he told everybody uh that you got some of these people who was in the nation or said they was in the nation, want to pretend they don't know what son of man is or what well how how am I calling myself that because that's who I am. You don't know no other man going around calling himself the son of man but me. Now, listen, hold on one second.
SPEAKER_01Now, here's the thing, here's the thing, right? Yes, I'm listening. Which now, what you're saying right now, to some people sounds crazy. But for you, but for me, it makes sense, right? In a 5% nation, no one gives you, well, it's it's depending on the circle or depending on your educator or what have you. Some some people they uh they they get they get educated by an educator and they take on some of the educators' names. Some people they just call they just pick a name. They pick a name. You know what I'm saying? So I would say a great a great majority pick a name. Like my name is I suprema law. Oh well, someone asked me who's called who called you, who gave you the authority to call yourself our suprema law. I did. Okay. So so to me, that makes sense. So you okay, you decided that you wanted to call yourself son of man based on what you've learned about.
Scripture References And Authority
SPEAKER_03Actually, I I didn't just decide I wanted to call myself that. I I received that name from the Holy Scriptures. That's what the scripture refers to me. Since I'm the only one who understands all of the scriptures, then when the scripture says, and for instance, in Ezekiel, uh, the second chapter, and the uh uh uh the starting at the first verse, it says, let me see, let me pull it up. Just give me a moment. This is the second chapter of Ezekiel, and I'm gonna start at the first verse. It says, and he said unto me, Son of Man, stand up on thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. You notice I'm standing up here reciting the scriptures to you, but if I don't explain what the scriptures is talking about, y'all wouldn't know what they were talking about. But I hear them, I understand them. I'm standing up on my feet, reciting the word, and have discovered that it was all addressed to me. It says, and the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me and set me upon my feet, and I heard, meaning I understood him that spake unto me. I understand Ezekiel talking to me, and it says, And he said unto me, Son of Man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that have rebelled against me, they and their forefathers have transgressed against me even unto this very day. And so, for uh when when as I read the scriptures, the messenger even told me, he left uh in his sayings, divine sayings of the honorable Elijah Muhammad. He said, If you want to talk to Allah, read the Quran. And when he said, Read the Quran, he knew the Quran would send me to the Bible, because that's what the Bible is. The Bible came before the Quran, and the Quran says it is a reminder of that which came before it. And when I open up the Bible and started reading it and understood what he was saying, then I understood it was talking to me. Well, if it if I if he if Allah wasn't addressing his word to me, I shouldn't have understood it. And uh and then I ask other people, okay, you come and explain the scriptures to me to show me you understand them, and I have yet to uh meet someone who took me up on that invitation, even Gino Jennings. When you get a chance, brother Ron, go and look at my uh debate. It really wasn't no debate because he never did, he never did actually uh disagree with me. Uh, he never did actually disagree with me by facts, he just would go to another question. And when I asked him about the scripture, I said, You want to explain it? And and he said, No, you say you the son of man. Well, I gave him a chance to explain and he refused. I knew why he refused, it's because he didn't know what their understanding of it was, but I understand the book because it's all addressed to me. And I'll tell you something else. Everybody understands me because I was sent to you. So uh go ahead, Brother Ryan. I didn't mean to go so long on that.
SPEAKER_01It's all right. Now, um, as far as the breakdowns of the teachings, okay. Now, the new nation of Islam was formed in what year?
SPEAKER_03Well, it's being formed now. This is this is uh it's not complete yet. It has not been born. When did you start? Oh, when I started teaching, I started uh teaching officially in 1975.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wait a minute. So you started teaching right after the messenger passed.
On Critics, “Crazy,” And Justice
SPEAKER_03Yes, sir. I was telling, I was telling uh everybody that would listen that I was the son of man. Because I I woke up to that fact around the latter part of 1975. And um then I, you know, I just started working, and I even started a pamphlet called The Rising Sun. And then I wrote a little book called The Sun, Moon, and Star of Man. Uh, because uh actually the crescent and star is my birthmark and and you know, all of that. It's it's not you know uh something that I don't I don't even show it to people no more because it it wasn't there for them, it was there for me to trust myself and who I am, like a like a document that you put your seal on. If you got a a seal for your broadcast or seal, the seal, the great seal of the United States, if you see the seal of the United States on a document, then that that is on there for that document's sake of saying that this is backed by the power of the United States government. And and the one who created the sun, moon, and star uh is Almighty God Allah, and he put his seal on me, and that's what the scripture says. It says, labor not for the meat that perisheth, but for that which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man uh shall give unto you, and for him hath God the Father sealed.
SPEAKER_01Now, how did how did you get so proficient with uh uh uh uh reading the Bible and quoting the Bible?
SPEAKER_03From the time I was a child. I mean, even uh me and my mother had a discussion once. Uh uh, once I learned to stop uh being antagonistic. So me and her was talking. I asked, I just started asking her questions instead of trying to tell her how her Christian religion is wrong and all of that. I just I asked her, I said, um, Medea, when did you uh uh get serious about religion? And she said, Well, mom, actually that happened when I was carrying you. And uh I used to read the Bible a lot and all of that. And so I can't remember a time when I didn't know the Bible, so you know, I I I knew I put it down because I couldn't understand it, and I wasn't gonna be no hypocrite. So I just left the Bible alone until I heard the honorable Elijah Muhammad. And he said he was the Elijah of the Bible, and I knew about the prophecy in the Bible that says Elijah was coming, and so I I my ears perked up, and then once I heard him, I couldn't stop listening to him. I just I, you know, the Bible finally started to make sense to me, and so he turned the lights on in my mind. He got me started. That's what his that's what he was here for. He had a message for the black man whom God said he was gonna create, and I'm that black man that God created. The mind that's in me ain't never been nobody like me, ain't never been no mind like the one that's talking to you now. It's just me, period. And uh the the word of God gave birth to this mind here, and also the words of this uh ruler here, the white man and his civilization. I was I went all through his uh school system up to the 12th grade. And I graduated from 12th grade and then I left his system alone. But I received natural knowledge and spiritual knowledge, the knowledge of the natural mind and the knowledge of the spiritual mind. I was talking to a man last night, brother Ron, that told me God created matter. And I don't know where school he went to, but you know, you you so I told him, no, no, sir, brother, you didn't pay attention in the school of the white man if you if you think God created matter. Matter can't be created, nor can it be destroyed. That is a fact. You can't get something from nothing. If the universe had not had matter in it already, then there wouldn't be no matter here now. So, anyway, even our our our makeup of being three-fourths of our body weight is water. That's because the most the scientists have discovered that the most plentiful uh uh the most plentiful element in the universe is hydrogen. So is it any wonder that God you chose to make his temple with the most plentiful element, which is man? We are made of the elements, and water is two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, and those are the plentiful elements of the of the universe, and so we use those.
SPEAKER_01Now, now I have I have a question for you, right? So I have a I have a bunch of questions, but let's let's let's uh now this is I'm not being disrespectful.
SPEAKER_03I'm just saying look, I'm apologizing and just ask you a question. If I think you owe me an apology, I'll tell you. But if that if that if not that, just ask your question.
SPEAKER_01All right. Now I'm looking at the comments and stuff like that, and and and people say you're crazy. What makes what makes people say you're crazy?
SPEAKER_03Well, uh, you know, brother, when when you it was one time considered crazy to sail out on the ocean, uh and and when you got out of sight on the ocean, they felt they felt like you was crazy because you done fell off the earth now. Uh but you found out that it wasn't the one who went out there and challenged the common knowledge that was crazy, it was the people who had that common knowledge that was crazy, and so messengers of God, not one prophet that I know of escaped being called crazy, and I ain't no prophet, I'm the Lord of them, and if they call the prophets crazy, uh why would they call the Lord same? So by calling me crazy, all they doing is bearing witness that I'm just what I said I am, I'm the Lord of the prophets. Like last night I told them uh that didn't understand why I don't take off of people what Jesus took and what all of the prophets took off of them. Then no prophets other than Muhammad fight back against the people uh that attacked them until Prophet Muhammad came and Allah revealed to him that persecution is worse than slaughter. And so Muhammad picked up the sword and defended himself. But Jesus, they spit on him, they slapped him, and then mocked him. And so they uh decided that if you're righteous, you're supposed to take all that off of people. But the reason Jesus and all of them took it was because it wasn't their job to judge anyone. The scripture says, Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay. And so, you know, when they when people disrespect me, when people attack me, I'm not gonna take no slap from you, ain't gonna take no spit in my face and nothing else. I'm not gonna do that to you, and I'm not gonna let you do it to me. And and so uh this is the day of vengeance and justice. If you don't want to be condemned, stop going around condemning people because all of us. Ain't nobody on this planet that have not sinned. And since I'm the only one who understands the scriptures, the scripture says the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins. And that's exactly what I have done already to everybody. I ain't holding nobody responsible for what, even the white man ain't holding him responsible for what he did when he was doing what he was made to do. No, no, only thing I'm holding him responsible for is how he acted after I spoke to him.
SPEAKER_01Now I want I want people in the chat. If you're in the chat and you are and the brother, son of man doesn't make sense to you, please say it in the chat because I don't I don't, you know, it sounds clear to me. So now um the the the flag, right? Your flag on the screen is on the left, and then you have the American flag on the right. Why both flags?
Teaching Since 1975 And Media Work
SPEAKER_03Well, you know, the there's the basic teachings of peace. You remember you hear everybody's that claim to believe in Islam if they if they know anything about it, they know Islam is the religion of peace. At least that's what they claim to know. Well, I'm in the Caucasian's country, I'm in the white man's country, and I done raised my flag in his country and I want him to respect my flag. What should I do to his flag? Raise it up. And you know, I ain't invented that now. Visit the UN building in uh in New York and look at all them flag poles out there. Put this put them back up. You visit the UN in New York, and you will see flag poles from about every nation that's members of that. All of them flag is up there flying next to the American flag. That's the quickest way to get respect, brother, is to give respect.
SPEAKER_01Right. That's a fact. That's a fact. So now, um, as far as the the breakdown of the new nation of Islam, so you've been teaching since 75, and uh, but it's officially now you're making more of a push for for for uh for members and things like that now in 2026, or or was that or was this how long have you been broadcasting?
SPEAKER_03Oh brother, I've been I started um on the radio back in uh uh around 81 or 82.
SPEAKER_01Well, what I mean is what I mean is like what you're doing right now, like online.
SPEAKER_03Oh, well, the internet, ever since it's been an internet, I think we did a little something, but officially back in 2004 was when I got on the internet uh through WHPR, at least alone with WHPR radio in Detroit. And uh I've been on the internet ever since.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, because because you guys are pretty good with the internet. So now um so now this is back in Detroit. Now, what do you say about um I already asked a quick crazy question, but what about people who um attack you online all the time? Um, have you had any encounters with people in person in Detroit? Okay. Let me tell you something, brother.
Joining, Free Will, And Standards
SPEAKER_03You know, the the dog that really gets you here, he ain't gonna do no lot of barking. So I I'm gonna leave that, I'm gonna leave that alone, bro. Uh I mean, you know, when people look, uh Ron, I understand people uh having a negative view of especially people claiming to represent God, uh come and come out. I'm God's representative, I'm this and I'm that. Uh, because look at what's been happening, man. Look at Daddy Grace, Father Divine. Uh how many people have told us that they came to set us free and everything they done came and gone, and we still here suffer. And not to mention Jim Jones, man, and David Corish and all of that. So, so should I be surprised that people got a negative attitude toward me when they first hear me talking about who I am and whatnot? I'm not surprised. What I try to get them to do is look, how many of those people that miss that that missed tomorrow that that that was on there claiming to be somebody special and all that, how many of them open they self up to you like I've done and let you give me what for as long as it was respectful? How many? I'm the only one that you can stop him right in the middle of his speech or whatever it is he making, if you can stop me at any time and question me about anything I said or argue with me. Now, what other uh person showed you that kind of respect? And you know most of these people don't understand that that's respect that they are being shown. Just like with you, you you're so used to trying to show uh courtesy to people that you apologize when you don't owe nobody an apology. You don't owe nobody an apology if they agree to an interview, then as long as you asking them an intelligent question, uh and when I say intelligent, I mean a coherent question, then they just need to answer the question. If they can't answer it, they need to say, I don't know, Ron.
SPEAKER_01Right, right.
SPEAKER_03But then you just attacking the questioner.
SPEAKER_01Right. Now I have I have more questions. So we we spoke we spoke on the flag. Now, uh what what the okay, the uniform color, right? So colors and uniform, everything is symbolism for me. Like when I when I see things, I kind of decipher everything going on in whatever decipher, whatever anything in front of me, I could kind of decipher what's going on because I know a little, I know, I know a little bit. So so so the the the color that you have, right? What what does that color symbolize, or is just is it just just the color that you like?
SPEAKER_03Well, it's it's both uh a color I like, and it's uh also it symbolizes something. You know, if you if you notice the scripture referred to me not just as S-O-N of Righteousness, it calls me the S-U-N of Righteousness. I'm the son of man of the prophets. You know, they they gave birth to the mind that's in me through their teachings, so I am their spiritual son, but I'm also the su n. Um for the Bible is the sun folded up, and the holy Quran is the sun folded up. I was told, Son of man, take the book and eat it up. And when I ate it and I studied it, that meant that meant study it. When I took it in, then I became what I ate. And so you notice the when you look at a rainbow, it's all sunlight, but it's all them different colors in the rainbow. So when you see me wearing all these different color uniforms, that's that just I like them colors, but at the same time, I'm the son of man. So you certainly see me come out in any color, but it's still me. Do you understand?
SPEAKER_01Gotcha. Now, now now when it comes to the so you teach a lot from the Bible, would you consider yourself a Muslim?
SPEAKER_03That's all of the prophets were Muslims. Jesus, Moses, David, Solomon. Uh, you ain't you ain't had no prophet that wasn't a Muslim. You see, so these are not that the Bible is a Muslim scripture. It's not no the Holy Quran says it's verifying the Bible. And if the Holy Quran is verifying the Bible and it's talking about uh Islam is God's choice of his religion, well, then all of the prophets had the same religion, they had the same God. So ain't no Christian scripture. I'll give you$75,000 if you can show me a Christian scripture.
SPEAKER_01Gotcha. Okay, okay, okay, okay. So now um now as far as the Bible, now so we we went over the Bible. I I I respect and um I admire the way that you can quote the Bible and go straight to the scripture like that. That's something that I, you know, I aspire to do. I aspire to like go from the Quran, the Bible, Supreme Wisdom, 120, you know, and just you know, it in my old my later years and things like that. So, you know, um I like the fact that you would you say that you mastered the Bible?
SPEAKER_03The Bible mastered me. This is you know this. Uh everything that you know is it makes you. You don't make it. You see, is it never never confuse the temple with the occupant. You know, this this body is the temple. The mind that's in this body is Allah. Here we go, here we go. Because I'm the best knower of the truth of the scriptures. That's why this the the Holy Quran and the Bible says in the beginning the Bible says, in the beginning, this is John the first chapter and the first verse. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. No, excuse me. It says, in the beginning, that I'm thinking about the Genesis. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. How about that in John the first chapter? It says, In the beginning was the word. Right. We know the word was the truth, wasn't no lie. So it says, in the beginning was the truth, and the truth was with God. Well, what made him God? He was the best knower of what was with him. Jesus was the best knower of the gospel, Moses was the best knower of the Torah, Ezekiel was the best knower of the book of Ezekiel, and all and and so forth and so on. Muhammad was the best knower of the Holy Quran. If he hadn't revealed it, if he hadn't uh recited it, so that they could take notes and make a uh uh a transcription. If it wasn't for Muhammad, there wouldn't be no Holy Quran, and it wouldn't be no gospel if it wasn't for Jesus, and so the word, the scripture called them gods, and that's in the 82nd chapter of Psalms and the sixth verse, it says, He called it, it says, I have said, Ye are gods, and children all of you are children of the most high knowledge. There is no knowledge greater than the word of God. That's why no one ever understood it, because this world couldn't teach you the understanding of knowledge that didn't come from anyone of this world, and so someone had to be created. That's where I come in at. Allah said, I'm going to create a mortal of sounding clay of black mud. Now he's telling you he's gonna create a black man, and when that man is complete and Allah breathed into him of his spirit, he commanded the angels to make obeisance to him. That's why you read in the scripture of Matthew, the 25th chapter and the 31st verse, that when the Son of Man shall come in his temple, in his body, his glory, and all the holy angels with him. And the holy angels is the words that's in these books here. Okay because when you read the gospel, if Jesus was here, he would be reciting it to you. But he don't have to recite it now because he left it here for me. As he said, I came not to send peace on earth, but a sword. And the term sword in uh spiritual sense is an acronym for the spoken word, S W O R D. Spoken word, and that's the sword that's in my mouth, and out of my mouth proceedeth a sharp, two-edged sword. Why? Because, like the man last night, I showed him that even in this world he is he is uh short of understanding because I don't say things even in the natural realm uh that I don't know what I'm talking about. I can prove the things I say, and and uh so I showed told him matter cannot be created. You don't say God created matter, you say God created a form that to put matter in, but God didn't create matter. No, matter is from everlasting, the material that is in all of this universe, you can't erase it, you can change its form, but you can never get rid of it, right?
SPEAKER_01Right now, um, so so I would I'm gonna say I'm gonna go out on the limb and say, when I want to learn the Bible, I'm gonna watch a son of man's broadcast.
SPEAKER_02There you go. There you go. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Because you can't get it from nobody else.
SPEAKER_01Gotcha. Now, um, as far as joining the organization, I don't know if if we you can talk about that. Can you talk about that or no?
SPEAKER_03You you know, when when uh it talks about joining, when you come to my class, if you stay in my class, you're gonna wind up with me.
SPEAKER_01Now, let me say this. Let me say this. So, like, so what I mean is this. So when like let's say for more science, for instance, my experience with more science goes like this. In some cases, some temples, you have to go to three, you have to go to three temple meetings. It could be either on Friday or it could be either on Sunday. Uh sometimes you can go to a, depending on temple, you'll go to a meeting one time. And then uh, you know, at the end of the class or the uh Sunday school or Friday, they would say, uh, does anyone want to join, and things like that. And then you raise your hand, you go up to the front, you get your nationality card, and now you know you put down in the books, and then you get your bet, you get your L or your B, right? Um, and of course, you know how it goes with the Nation of Islam. You write a letter, the 5% nation, you get a uh you get the educator, you you fast for three days, you fast for three days, you learn your supreme mathematics and things like that, and then after that, you know, uh you pick your name and then so on. So how does it work with the new nation of Islam? How many how many times what do I have to go and watch a class, what's given to me, and how does that process work?
Closing And Platform Support
SPEAKER_03It's all about freedom, the free will. You notice if you listen to all of my classes, uh since I've been uh I mean for a long time now, you don't hear me asking people do they want to join with me. I don't I don't do that. I I I'm uh and I don't want none of you to take this as an insult. But if you are an intelligent human being, and I give you credit for having intelligence, because I have intelligence, and I couldn't I couldn't be intelligent if the if the family that I come from, which is a human family, was imbeciles. So, you know, uh I give everybody credit for having intelligence. If you see that I'm doing something that you can admire and teaching something that you can't argue against, then intelligence dictates to me that I don't have to invite you to join with me. You'd be asking me, can I join with you? And so um you get in where you fit in. I mean, because I ain't here, I ain't looking for no, I don't pass collection plates. So I I'm not, I don't see dollar signs when people come to me. I see human beings, I see my brothers and sisters potentially, until they show me that they are not. And you know, Islam means entire submission to the will of God, and a Muslim is someone who chooses to submit. So you listen to me, question me, argue with me, and if I satisfy you that I'm not lying when I tell you I'm the Lord, well then you make your decision about whether you're going to uh ask to be my follower. And if you ask, then uh more than likely I'm gonna tell you yes. And when you tell me, ask me what do I want you to do? I'm gonna first want to know what do you know how to do, and uh then we go from there. But in the meantime, stay in the class. But if you're not righteous, you can't be part of this nation. Be no dope smoker, you can't be no alcoholic, you can't you cannot defile your body with nothing that's poison, right? And and otherwise, it's not a nation of Islam if you're doing things that our Lord and said don't do.
SPEAKER_01Indeed. Now, now, also, I want to ask this now. So, because we're we're we're coming close to the end of the end of the time, right? So, I want to ask uh more about the community activism over the years. So, to for me, this is extremely important in any group, right? What whether I disagree or agree with anything, the track record in the community is is is key for me. So, have you been uh doing any book bag giveaways or any food things or whatever? What are you doing in the community and what have you done in the community in the past? Let's give it short time, let's say 10 years.
SPEAKER_03Well, uh during the last 10 years, if you look online at our progress, um we've taken we've taken buildings that were uh dilapidated. Uh for we teach our people that the scripture says that we must rebuild the waste cities. I mean, to walk in a town and everybody that's in charge is black. And there are some places, including Fayette, Mississippi, where the the mayor is black, the chief of police is black, the sheriff is black, everybody that's in authority are black people. Well, whose fault is it if our town is falling down around us? Black people. It's black people's fault. So the best activism that I could do is show them what we could do if we would get together, we could remodel and make places that were eyesores, we could make them uh places of beauty, places that you could sit down in any uh progressive white community and they couldn't complain about the decor and the the status of that of that building. You walk in our salon, you wouldn't even think you were still in uh uh a black place. You go to our automotive repair facility.
SPEAKER_01Are you saying black people salon automotive, or are you saying do you you have a salon and automotive places?
SPEAKER_03Black people, we doing it. Okay, we doing it right in their face. We and we they watching us do it from start to finish.
SPEAKER_01Wait a minute. So I'm saying this is what I'm saying. Do you have your own salon? Yes, you have your own salon, yes, okay. Now, see, see, this is when things start changing in my head about certain things, right? Like, so results, results. I work in a results-driven business. If you are training a client or massaging a client or training a group of people, and they are not seeing any results, you don't fix their shoulder, you don't fix the back, and you just massage and massage and massage, and they will not come back. So, results for me is everything. So, this is what I'm saying. You have a you have a salon, right?
SPEAKER_03Yes, you have and some of our sisters. Um, matter of fact, we have two of them. There's one in Detroit and one in Fayette. And both of them are are getting uh just nothing but positive uh feedback from the clientele. And people are very, very impressed and happy when they come into a nice, clean uh environment and a respectful attitude from the people who work there. And that that's very important. It don't make no difference what kind of uh uh decor you put in a place, if you put disrespectful people to meet the people who come in there, that that place is going to fail. And so not only do we uh while we putting up nice buildings and and uh decorating them, we also put a new attitude in our people. That's what these classes are for. My followers, you don't see them cursing and swearing and and uh being hard to get along with and and that's that's that's the main thing. We got to learn to treat people like we want to be treated, not like they treat us, but like we want them to treat us.
SPEAKER_01Right now, now I want to ask more about the salon. Sorry, so so the so so the salon, okay, the salon two salons, okay, and then we have what else, what else do you brothers and sisters have?
SPEAKER_03Okay, we have our own bakery. Okay, we have our own tailoring facility. I'm wearing some of the uh clothing out of that. We uh and we we serve the community. Everything that we put up, we have our own uh print shop magazine that we print out, but we also do print work for people that want business cards and all of that kind of thing. We uh, you know, we supply that. Uh, and it's it's professionally done. It's not somebody just uh trying something. We know what we're doing.
SPEAKER_01This brother in the chat said the son of man has a great economic program. Can you before we go into that part? More more of the results, right? So Salon, printing company, uh you know, what what else, what else you got? I mean, I've seen videos where like you're building stuff with your bare hands and all of that. So can you run down uh more uh of the things that you brothers and sisters are doing?
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, uh we have uh brothers and sisters. You if you've seen the commercials at the beginning of our uh broadcast, you see, we have brothers and sisters who repair computers and and install uh systems in uh business offices and you name it, they they do it not just in Mississippi, they travel uh you know travel to other states putting in uh things for people, putting in computer systems and all of that for people. We have one brother who sells computers. Uh we have a brother who works for Generac. He he uh his commercial ain't even up yet. I don't know what he's waiting on right now. But generact our advertisers everywhere, anyway. But we done bought every building we have. We we bought a generator from Generac to put in it with there to back up our power. Um we have brothers that's uh that teach drones, drone flying, and that kind of thing. He has his license and that and showing people how to use drones for agriculture. Um we have our own business offices. Um we have brothers that uh we have our own doctor, uh we we have nurses, we have brothers and sisters who do some of it. This is building a nation. In a nation uh every kind of heavy equipment, I believe. You know, these are the people who tell us what to do. I mean if I'm gonna go and uh build something uh in the way of concrete structures or whatnot, I don't uh take it upon myself to do it. I ask the man who's a professional at doing that what does he need and what do we need to go and get so that he can do that? Uh our duty as my duty as the the government is to supply those who support the government with the support they need to generate the funds that uh any government requires.
SPEAKER_01Now, how long did it how long did it did it take you to to to make all of this happen?
SPEAKER_03And uh man, who helped I mean this was from 1975.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you know you've been building this since then.
SPEAKER_03Since 1975. I've been doing this. I started by myself with just me and my wife. And as we as I couldn't get no help when I was in California, they everybody took off following WD Muhammad, and um so I left there and came to Mississippi, and it it was more opportunity to do for self in Mississippi than any other place that I'd ever been. I mean, people you can say what you want about white folks, but since I've been here, as long as I stayed out of their way, they didn't come over here messing with me. And and they showed us respect. But you can't get on no welfare here. If you think you're gonna be on welfare here, you can forget that. Nobody's gonna give you nothing, but I ain't looking for nobody to give me nothing. I just get out of my way and let me get it for myself. And I saw the messenger taught me how to do for myself. Y'all don't believe Elijah Muhammad. I could I couldn't, if I if I 24 hours a day for the next uh for till my life end, it wouldn't be enough thank yous that I could give him for what he gave me. I just I just couldn't do it. So the only way I can show my gratitude to him is to continue in what he taught me, and that's what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_01You know, so wow, wow. Now, um uh we're we're pretty much out of time. I mean, you know, I know uh you know, because we go to nine o'clock, you know, we could go over a little bit as you know, if if you don't mind.
SPEAKER_03Ron, that's up to you, brother. And I told you when we first talked, as often as you want me in here, I'll make myself available.
SPEAKER_01Okay, now um the next time you come up, I would like to put some of those videos you have on the screen so people can see what uh uh uh you've done, so people can see the accomplishments. And uh, you know, despite what people with despite what people think about, you know, you know, you're not following the messages, teachings, like right and exact the way he, you know, taught him, uh, you are doing things out there that needs some kind of shine. You know what I'm saying? Uh, you know what I mean? It's it's with all of this, you know, these businesses and things like that, and you building like right now, you're standing. I think you said you're standing in a building you built, right?
SPEAKER_03Yes, in this auditorium, yes, sir.
SPEAKER_01So, you know, we could all learn, we could all learn from this. Um, so I'm gonna the uh someone said is on Facebook. Is it is that on the New Nation of Islam Facebook? Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_03Um, brother Jamar put it up there. Uh and I think it's a a few short clips up there that they can go to and and see it.
SPEAKER_01Um I would like to see the followers. I would like this. Is there any way we can see the followers at some point?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'll I'll I'll uh I'll put a quick clip up here for the followers that you'll see that we we're not alone yet. Let me show you. Give me a minute.
SPEAKER_02Um we we took a trip to Washington and uh here we have an amusing job.
SPEAKER_01Here we have an amusing. Oh, wait, wait, wait, they gotta they gotta flag they gonna flag.
SPEAKER_06You remind me of love. I've got my mind and my heart.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03All right, all right, his bus program has a lot of time left, so I I just tried to cut to where they you could see that how we were treated and with this welcoming attitude of the uh people at the White House and all that. They the officers and everything, they were very respectful.
SPEAKER_01And they someone said his bus programs and establishments. You have bus programs? Well, we have our own buses, yes, sir.
SPEAKER_03We uh university, and you know other universities have their own buses, so I went and got us a buses.
SPEAKER_01That's exactly now. Now uh let's we got a cutout now. Uh uh, we're out of time. I don't mean to cut it short, but man, man, man, man, we gotta talk about that economic program on the next one, brother. We got to we got to get in there, and and I love the music. What I mean, that's that's that music. Uh turned it over to brother Jamar.
SPEAKER_03He knows what I like, so he's no doubt, man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, indeed, indeed. Again, thank you for coming out this evening. I really appreciate you, brother Son of Man. Uh uh, thank you to uh Calvin Mohammed for uh setting this up. We will build with the brother, son of man. Again, we need to learn more about the economic program and what he got going on out there. This is an inspiration. Uh, and uh that's pretty much it. Any any last words, brother?
SPEAKER_03I just want you to know I appreciate you more, brother. That's you know, you you are you are a duel, and I appreciate it.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, thank you. You are duel to the people, peace to everybody out there. We are out of here. Peace. Oh, wait, hold on.
