Welcome And Rate The Show
SPEAKER_02What's going on, everybody, out there? It's Ron Brown LMT, the People's Fitness Professional, aka Soul Brother Number One Reporting for Duty. And I have the brother Bro Noble Cyrus in the building. I'm so used to something more than that in your name. I forgot to put the L in there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like something's missing. Uh, brother uh Noble Cyrus L in the building, House of Light. Uh, that is his company, right?
SPEAKER_01Yes, sir. House of Light Hypnosis.
SPEAKER_02All right. So now um I am gonna be hypnotized right here, live, live and direct. Now, I don't see anyone in the chat right now. It's okay because uh uh uh but I'm gonna tell you this on the audio is a different number. So you got the you have this number on YouTube, and then you got the audio number. The audio numbers vary, like sometimes you can have like low numbers on the video, but high numbers on the audio. So shouts out to everybody on the audio, shouts out to everybody on the audio for people who listen to us on Spotify. Oh, I forgot to tell y'all this. Everyone who listens to us on Spotify, uh Apple Podcasts, all the podcasting streaming platforms. If you listen to us, please go in those apps and rate the show. Please rate the show. Um uh right now on Apple Podcasts, we're about a 4.3. Uh, no one's going in there really clicking on those buttons. So please go up there, click on the button so we can get those those ratings up to a six. We're trying to get to a six on the ratings or five, whatever uh number the platform allows. So please, Spotify, Apple, all those streaming platforms, rate the show. Please, please, please. Anyway, let's go into the show, brother Cyrus L. Um, it's your you have the floor, brother.
What Hypnosis Really Is
SPEAKER_01Oh, you say I have the floor? No questions, no preamp.
SPEAKER_02Uh so so, all right. Well, let's get into it. Okay, so for me, I've never been hypnotized, first of all. All right. Uh, the only thing I know about hypnotism is the commercialized, you know, nonsense, I would call it. Uh, that's out there and uh on TV and such and such. And uh Biggie's song, Hypnotized. That's all I know. For sure.
SPEAKER_01Well, please allow me to just add something in there on your repertoire. Um, you have been hypnotized before, beloved. You might not just know you've been hypnotized. Um, 30 minutes after you awake, about an hour before you go to sleep, and at least once in your life, while you're driving, and then you zone out and you space out, your body's still going, but you are not here, right? You were in a slightly altered, heightened state, you were not connected, you were hypnotized. You ever watched that movie, and you're so into the movie that when that dude got punched, you kind of had a physiological response, you twitched to it. How did that glass screen affect you? So that was your mind, your input, your suggestibility. You were in tune, you were hypnotized, you were in an altered state. Most people are scared, as you alluded to, because of the movies, the way it's out there with the bark like a dog, cluck like a chicken, all of this stuff. People think like um someone has control over you, but you are always in control. Hypnosis is a very deep, relaxing and calming state. You are not fully asleep, you are not under somebody else's control. It's just that when in hypnosis, when you get into that state, people become more suggestible. Well, heightened suggested uh suggestible intake. So depending on these words that's being said to thy person in hypnosis, um, those words are getting implanted, embedded, excuse me, into the subconscious. Thus, that is where uh the works come into play, and this is how we assist people um with their self-improvement vocationally and avocationally.
SPEAKER_02Nice. Makes a lot of sense, brother.
Subconscious Work While You Sleep
SPEAKER_02All right, so uh you you mentioned the subconscious mind. Is there any other parts of the brain that or the mind that the hip hypnosis affects?
SPEAKER_01Um I guess if you want to say in a way, because when when we're doing the works, uh we're dealing with the subconscious. But now, as we bring you out of subconscious in your days to come, and plus with a little more homework and reinforcement, you know, cognitively and consciously, in that alpha state, the hypnosis will be working per se. If that makes sense, you know, and then even um depending on the type of hypnotherapy you you get into, if it's like sleep therapy and things like that, it works at night as well into the heavy delta, which was which is good for affirmations. You know how sometimes we might just go to bed at night and we gotta listen to that positive music because we want to think about that, dream about that, let it work while we sleep. We wake up, and now we amped and everything we just did last night makes us feel good in a way to progress into that. You just did a self-hypnosis transform yourself, right?
SPEAKER_02And I stopped doing that. I stopped doing that. I stopped, I I need to go back to doing that. Don't worry, but you got me, beloved. I can teach you and I can show you. So now, like you say, before you go to sleep, so before I go went when uh a couple months ago, before I went to sleep, I would study my lessons or I would read a book. And um, you know, I kind of fell out of that, but I remember when I was doing that, I was way more focused.
SPEAKER_01I was way more focused. Uh, yeah, the care system is definitely in play, and you know your energy is where your focus is at. So that might be for you in this uh particular situation. That might be a good uh key for you, a good anchor, uh, the reading, the journaling, you know, to keep you in that focus, especially if you can compartmentalize your goals, uh being in that mode while you're reading and stuff is actually very good for you, and it's healthy enforcing your subconscious when you're quiet, you're not actively cognitively doing things, the subconscious is always working. See, when we're born, we're born with the fight, flight, freeze uh thing, and then we are growing up with positive and negative associations. So depending on how that is for you, when the critical mind comes in about eight, nine, ten, your habits is kind of already starting in play. So if reading has always been good for you, and that's how you focus, there's a good positive known for you, you know, as a good anchor, that's a good tool to know. It helps you focus, categorize.
SPEAKER_02Right now, um, how important is it for you to who's that? Uh is that sincere, sincere? Sincere king, is that sincere? The brother that was on the podcast, the book Atlanta. Let me know if that's who that is, because I need to we need to talk to me right now, brother. Because this is the brother right here that I want to link y'all together so we could build on the podcast about the mind. Yes, yes, that is him. Peace to the God, peace, god. So, yeah, this is the brother right here, noble Cyrus, and I want to link y'all together on the podcast so we could build upon the mind. I guess that's why you're in right now, so you could you do the knowledge on the hypnosis piece. Um, peace, God. Now, let's let's so let's build on it. Um,
Journaling And Planning For Focus
SPEAKER_02I was I lost my train of thought seeing the guy. Uh yeah, so is it important for you to like me? Like I'm a busy person. So is it important for me to like schedule my life from as soon as I wake up all the way until I go to go to sleep?
SPEAKER_01Journaling and notepadding, cognitive planning, uh, is always a good thing, especially if you are aware that it's helping you in your progress, having them ideas and doing it the night before for sure helps the self-subconscious pre-the-day come. Because when we are in that mode right before sleep, and we start getting in our head, and everything is going on, going on. Now that you're even hearing this, when you are aware of that, that journal that you place next to your bed, right in it. You know how you might have heard an artist say before, yo, I had to wake up and write that song. Yeah, do that. It's a good tool for you. And you you can have your reading book there because that can help you with your rest and your tiredness and your focus. But now, when you get into planning, that's what the journey was for. So you can cognitively plan, you can write your goals out, and then repetition. I'm telling you, and you give that repetition, you will start creating a new habit, it's embedding in the subconscious, and then it will start working once you start that first step, and it might make you feel good, you get the tingles about it, and it's like you're doing it, yeah, and then you write it and you feel good about it, and you're gonna do it again and do it again. You just created a new habit, right? Indeed, indeed is always very important. You can do it in the day too, if that's your quick plan. Soon as you wake up, write three, four things down. This is what I'm gonna do today. But beforehand, I find personally as well, doing that stuff before sleep really helps. I like to plan my dreams right before I sleep. Uh lucid walk, if you will. Try to control my dreams so I can be aware a little bit, know my dream, see it, let it play out, wake up. I'm still in a trance. Try to figure that out, formulate it, then I'll write out what I need to and be like, yeah, okay, yeah, that worked. Okay, I can go for it now.
Defining The Focus Goal
SPEAKER_02Now, now um this hip hypnosis session, if you will, uh, you know, I would like to, I would like for it to be focused on uh just concentration. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, because I have so much going on, my concentration level has to be really high.
SPEAKER_01You got so much going on. Yeah. What do you think blocks you from concentrating? If you can name one thing.
SPEAKER_02What blocks me from concentrating would be that I'm trying to get everything that I have to do done.
SPEAKER_01Is it a matter of time? Yeah, it is. What does perfect time seem like to you?
SPEAKER_02Perfect times to me is uh deadline, and before the deadline, you you finish a day before the deadline. If you gotta be somewhere at seven o'clock, you're getting there 15 minutes before that. You get me saying 20 minutes before that, 30 minutes before that. So I'm I'm always like time, boom, like gotta be right and exact, like for me, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay, and for sure, we're trying to get into the concentration and the focus, and that's not a problem because that's what we here at House of Light and Brother Cyrus is gonna do for you. Is there something a symbol or a tool
Rapid Induction Hypnosis Begins
SPEAKER_01or something like that? As a matter of fact, you can visualize, right?
SPEAKER_02Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_01You can see images with your mind, yes, sir. That's wonderful, that's perfect. So, we did talk beforehand, as we do, good brothers. I love my brother, Ron. This is what I would like for you to do, beloved. First off, I want you to go ahead and sit up, get yourself together, feel comfortable. Listen, if anybody watching wants to participate in what I'm doing, please do not be driving and operating any heavy machinery. Or you can just stand by, relax, and enjoy. So you can go ahead and shake it out, shake your hand out. And I would like for you, beloved, to put both of your hands up like this. You can have your palms facing each other. I would like for both of your palms to face each other. And now that you have your palms out, I want you to look in between your hands. I want you to look in between your hands, and while you're looking in between your hands, I want you to imagine, use your the power of your mind, your imagination, your visualization that a magnet, a magnet, is strongly pulling the hands together closer and closer, a little bit closer and closer. Use the imagination, and I want you to just notice how strong the power of your mind is, and we just bring it in closer and closer. Allow yourself to just bring them in closer and closer. You can just feel the pulse of that magnetism get in. And the moment that your hands touch, you can let your eyes close as your hands get closer and closer. The moment your hands touch, you can let your eyes close. Eyes close, and that's deep sleep. And every time that I suggest the words deep sleep to you for the purpose of hypnosis and with your permission, you allow yourself to get into this deep, calm, and relaxing state. Now, brother Ron, I want you to go ahead and open your eyes for me, beloved. How are you doing? I'm great. Alrighty, do me one more favor. If you could, let's see. Is your camera flipped? Can you put out your right hand? And I want you to put it up in front of your face like this. Alrighty. Now I want you to stare at the tip of that middle finger. I want you to just stare up there at the tip of your middle finger and then just stare at the tip of your middle finger. If your eyes wander off, that's absolutely fine. Just bring your attention back to the tip of that middle finger. And now, Brother Ron, while you are looking at the tip of that middle finger, I want you to tell me something. Is it your hand that's coming in closer to your face? Or is it your forearm that's coming in closer to your face?
SPEAKER_02Seems like my hand.
SPEAKER_01And I just want you to allow your hand to come a little bit closer to your face. You can feel that magnetic pull. I wonder, and allow you to let the speed go. We just let the hand come into your face. And the moment that the hand touches the face, you can let your eyes close and get yourself in the nice and deep sleep, deep sleep. And every time I suggest the words deep sleep to you for the purpose of hypnosis and with your permission, you allow yourself to get into this deep, calm, and relaxed state. And now, brother Ronald, I want you to use the power of your mind, your imagination. And I want you to create a sun. I want you to create a sun. It can be close, it can be far. I'll let you decide. If you have an idea, image of that sun, you can just give me a little head on. Absolute. Now, the next thing I want you to notice is your breath. Notice the air coming in your nostrils. Notice how the air is circulating through the body. You might get a sense of the tingles and sparkles through the body, and if you do, that's fine. Because that's energy flowing through the body, going to the mind, allowing thyself to get into a state of deep calm relaxation. Just notice the breath. Let it sit with it. Now, brother Ron, I want you to imagine, visualize, and create a safe space. I'll allow you to create the safe space. And I wonder what that looks like. You don't have to tell me, but I'll give you a second to create. And now, brother Vaughn, while you are in this calm, relaxing place, I want you to visualize a treasure chest. It can be any kind of treasure chest. And I want you to open it. And when you open it, you will see a glowing bright orb. And I want you to grab that orb. And imagine that you can feel the senses of it. You might get a sense of energy radiating through the body, floating up the arms, floating down the back, down the legs, down the feet. I'm gonna count you down from five to one now. When we reach down to one, you allow yourself to go deeper at five. And two, and one that's deep sleep, deep sleep. And every time I suggest the words deep sleep to you, for the purpose of hypnosis, and with your permission, you allow yourself to stay in this deep, calm and relaxing state. And now, Brother Ron, I'm gonna suggest to you that any time and every time that you need focus and concentration, you allow this glowing orb to give you that jolt of energy and give you that awareness, the reminder that you can concentrate and you can focus. If we breathe and take our time, we just breathe and take our time. Next, I want you to visualize a clock, it can be at whatever time, but with this clock, know that this clock enables you to have the power to know you can control your time. You just take your breath, use your power orb and focus. That's right, even deeper now, even deeper now. We're gonna use this glowing orb in this visualization of a clock to know that you are always in control, and we can give ourselves permission to be at ease so we can plan accordingly the night before or in the morning, so you can probably adjust yourself in your timely manner that suits best for the job done, and now that you Have this glowing orb, and you have your clock of the universe, or whatever you want to call it, but remember that clock and remember your power orb. All you have to do is breathe, visualize, use this as an anchor, and you will calm down and remember. And remember, I'm going to count you from one to five now. And when I get to five, you are going to be fully awake and unsuggestible. At one, we're going to start calming up now. Remember your orb, remember your clock. At two, you get a sense of the room around you now. And three, you might get a sense of the jolts and the feelings, the pens and needles, and that's energy floating for you. Four, you might even get a sense to want to crack a smile and crack a smurf as we get up to five. One, two, three, four, five. Eyes open. Wide away. Wide away. Wide away.
Orb And Clock Anchors For Time
SPEAKER_01One, two, three away.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I was super relaxed. Like, I was super relaxed. Super relaxed. Yes, sir. Uh, I was on a psychedelic. I ain't gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. Could you tell us a little bit about your visuals if you had any responses back to it?
SPEAKER_02Um, my safe place is a huge house. This is gonna sound crazy, y'all. Um I'm gonna share with the people. I'm gonna share. I, you know, I'm gonna keep it a buck. My safe place is a huge house with a gym in the basement and a firing range in the back.
Waking Up And Describing Visuals
SPEAKER_01Oh, that sounds like the country boy style. That ain't too crazy.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. And the treasure, the the the the uh shining orb was like a long stick like this. It was like that was pretty cool, man. That was pretty cool, brother. I was I don't know how you did it like that, and I guess it's the like my eyes or whatever. What you mean? Like, like you focus your eyes a certain way, and then you with your talk with the way you talk, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So you you ever heard kind of the sorry to cut you off. You ever heard kind of the phrase, you are not the body, you are the mind and the soul experiencing life through the body, yes, sir. So you know the body can do its own thing and the mind can do its own thing, but we are supposed to be together, so we have to get into when you know these things, you get into certain um states and modalities so you can regulate a proper homeostasis, but there's more science into why it clicks and it does work like that. You know, the mind is doing its own thing that is going on, um, especially for people who like jerk and things like that that go into hypnosis, because when the mind itself uh rapidly goes from an awake state to feeling like a sleep state, it goes through a hypnotic jerk. And so they do that. You know how uh you might be awake, whatever you was watching a movie, and you was about to go to sleep, and you feel like you're about to start getting, then you twitch real quick.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that that happened with my massage clients, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because they went from awake to feeling too relaxed, so now the mind is like tense nerves.
SPEAKER_02That's what I was feeling too, because I'm like, I'm like, I'm on camera here, you know what I'm saying? So I'm like, I'm going somewhere. I don't know what do I look like on camera.
SPEAKER_01What am I looking like right now? When you when you go back and watch this, I believe you'll find more um jewels in there that your body, your subconscious was already um suggestible, your body was doing things that I was looking for before, you know. I I was saying certain things, and then your body reacted a certain way.
SPEAKER_02How was it like like like how was it reacting?
SPEAKER_01Like um, you know, I was saying just breathe, and just in the way I said breath, and then you took that big deep breath, and I said, Yeah, that's right. So you're always in control, but in this state, your subconscious is um running the program right now. You might you I know you heard the expression humans only use 10% of their brain. Yeah, what happened to the other 80 or the other 90? 90, right? You know what I mean? So your subconscious is always working for
Why The Body Reacts In Trance
SPEAKER_01our benefit, but we don't pay it no attention. The mind already put what's safe, it already puts what's harmful, what's pleasing. So when you are not actively cognitively doing things, or when you're in a hyper-sugestible state, you overload it, the subconscious is waiting on some information, and depending on how you got that and you're dealing with that, people are might take something unfavorable, and then they become in a habit loop that is unfavorable. Thus is why it seems like people can't kick habits and change uh for their embeddement and self-improvement.
SPEAKER_02Right. You know, um, I always I used to talk on Facebook when I was on there about uh uh habit loops and things like that. Now, um, you know, not to not to be cliche and stereotypical, but like coming from the hood, I like to talk about that because that's where I'm from. And uh, you know, I I've got I've learned a lot of bad habits that I I've realized at this age, it wasn't just one or two, it was like a lot, right? You know what I'm saying? So, how do we get off of the like if I have like I don't know, I mean you you you uh treat people, right? So no, no, no, no, no. No, not necessarily treat people, but you help people. Let's say help people, yes. Okay, so you help people. How many habit loops do you recognize in people?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I gotta sing. Listen, it's it's a lot. In some habits, I guess, if you're not looking at what's considered a bad habit, could be good habits, you know. Brushing your teeth every morning ritually is a good habit. Um, but for the unfavorables, it takes a little bit of ownership, awareness, probably talking to a professional or getting some assistance from good people to show you where to start adding or replacing because you might not can't just make it disappear. It's not a magic thing, it's still you, it's about changing it. So we have to replace it. So, like for smokers, I would get uh like strawberry and mint toothpicks, and I tell them to keep these in your pocket because you got this habit going on, right? So use them toothpicks, keep it in your pocket every time you feel like it. Take this. As a matter of fact, next week, only take five cigarettes with you. Try that for a week, it's gonna start coming down. After that, take two cigarettes with you. You wanna start changing the body to adjust to add more better habits. When you wake up in the morning, put your shoe on the other foot first. You know, you we gotta rewire and re-fire our neurons because we are stuck in that. And once you start doing like neuroplasticity, which is brother, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you know, but but there's a brother that I I had on the podcast a lot, Paul Dyer. We would we this is what we we we we were talking about. Uh the God Sincere and Paul Dyer, you three on a podcast is gonna be crazy, brother.
SPEAKER_01Hey, set it up, let's go. I'm down for it, but absolute
Habit Loops And Replacing Patterns
SPEAKER_01um a shout out to those brothers, man. Neuroplasticity and metacognition are two of some of the greatest tools to be aware of to start practicing on myself, to start uh firing and rewiring the thought process and perception. So when you start second guessing your initial, all right, think about it like so. If we're thinking right now, right? All right, my brain real quick just went to all right, let's go get some dominoes. But I can hear the voice in my head. So, what if the voice in my head said, Hey, wait, hold up, rewind. I thought pepperoni pizza, I don't eat pepperoni pizza. Let's do this, let's change this. I can see now. Oh, I can hear myself. Let me see something. I got this little pain in my shoulder. I wonder if I can focus in on this and tell it to calm down. Just calm down, just a little bit, and let's see if it listen, brother. We might need a part two. Oh, yeah, for sure, for sure. But uh, neuroplasticity and metacognition are definitely two of some of the greatest tools to help fire and rewire for these uh habit loops.
SPEAKER_02Now, you said um uh you said um sorry, peace beloved. You you you said this this kind of threw me off this comment because I'm trying to figure out uh uh uh uh uh who is that one of the brothers from uh ancient Moorish right? I don't think so. No. Now you said you you could focus on like points, like okay, a piece of okay. Now I have anxiety because I'm trying to do, I'm trying to get everything done at a certain time. Boom, boom, boom. And you would take it, you're telling me take a breath.
SPEAKER_01Let me ask you a question. You know what happens with anxiety, right? Let's name two things that's happening with the human body when somebody's having an anxiety attack. What are what two things are altered? You're right about that. Your heart rate goes up, your breathing is like elevated, yeah. And then you get the cloudy mind. Yeah. If you can have an anchor and be aware when that activating event is going on, and be like, ugh, that's why most of the time you see people walk around and something happened, and they just they just slowed themselves down from probably having anxiety attack, panic attack, being
Neuroplasticity And Metacognition Tools
SPEAKER_01off-kiltered, unfavorable feelings. Your breathing is gonna go off, your mind's gonna go off, and now you are in an improper homeostasis. You're not balanced, you're all balanced. Right, get your breath right, you can get thy mind right. You slow that down, get thy mind right, you can start regulating your emotions, and then make sure you question that belief if that's not favorable, so we can regulate them emotions, and that will give you a better behavior and a better output.
SPEAKER_02Right now, what other two what other techniques can I use to calm myself down?
SPEAKER_01Oh, sound meditation, right?
SPEAKER_02Oh man, I'm glad you said that. Now, the when the way you were talking, right?
SPEAKER_01Okay now, you learn in hypnosis how to project your voice to put people in these states pertaining to like the school I went to or go to, yeah. You you learn a lot of things, but I've always been the mystical, I've always talked like this. Okay, I always throw my pitch a certain way because it's delivery, right? Some people might be offended just by the tone of your voice versus what you really say, right? Right, right, indeed. That's a fact, that's a fact. So if I give it to you safely, we're all safe, then I might have to say it a certain way so you can get me.
SPEAKER_02That's a fact. All right, so now what other tools? So breathing is one tool. Now, um, I notice with uh my clients or with you know, or even myself when I'm working out and it's like, yo, my heart rate is really high, my my body is overheating. I throw water on myself, on my body, I rub the water on my core to regulate the heat of my body. Uh, I use water. So do you have do you use anything like water? Do you use you said you said sound therapy, what other tools?
SPEAKER_01For me, my tools are sound frequencies, the ancient Egypt type of music, ancient Anubis type of music. I've been having that plan all day, so please excuse my eyesight. Uh, and I do uh a lot of imagery tools because I'm very good at that. You know, I would I I can take um you on a good journey,
Anxiety Regulation Through Breath
SPEAKER_01a safe journey, and allow you to create and help and guide you. So like you can do that mindfulness with meditation, even with all the other dualities and the and the orders that you do, you know, you can use that. You can probably use finger press as the anchor because you might be a sensor type of person, you might want to a touch type of person, so you might want to find like a press rub stone and use that as an anchor for focus so you can get into that type of state. So you have and then you have other therapies because you got like water therapy, you know, that's a real thing. Um, yeah, but I'm more sound or not, I do both, and uh imagery is my tool with a couple of other modalities that I can't really disclose here.
SPEAKER_02Okay, now as as with so you would consider yourself a hip hypnotist or no?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm a certified hypnotist graduating clinical certified hypnotherapist.
SPEAKER_02Okay, now now this what you just did today, what technique was that? Are they oh that was a rapid induction?
SPEAKER_01Okay, there we go. Rapid, and you notice how you were you notice how you felt that little bit, like you said, when you touched and it went in, yeah. You know, it was so fast, rapid, the mind went from you know, aware to rest.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know how hard it is for me to rest, bro.
SPEAKER_01I was like, it was like my body needed that or something, indeed, indeed, and that's probably it, probably is beloved, you know. But when we use these tools, know these tools, and you know, and you look round, you you you find out that a lot of these things are in back here. So if you're not talking to someone or letting it out in a way, going to the gym, going to the gun range, doing something, working out, it's trapped in your body. So, where
Sound Frequency And Touch Anchors
SPEAKER_01is these things going? You know, then it's good to know these tools and to seek professionals to help uh yourself, others, and yourself to regulate.
SPEAKER_02Now, you said seek you said seek professionals. Are you saying seek professionals as other hip hip uh hypnotists?
SPEAKER_01Any it, you know, any professional uh deemed for you, but always if it's uh you know, mental or psychological and things, you got to go to your provider. Well, we work in a junction with referrals um with the providers, you know. We work with vocational and advocational self-improvement, right?
SPEAKER_02What do you think about what's your opinion uh on therapists? Because I've I've been to therapists uh maybe a couple times, and I just feel that they um it's about a check. It's like, you know, or you know, let me just have you fill this paperwork out and then send you on your way. It wasn't really it's you know, that's I kind of kind of sort of don't believe in it because of that, you know. I mean, because of the few times that I've been. Um so what do you what's your opinion on it?
SPEAKER_01Therapists and psychologists work very hard to get where they are to help people and assist people, and they do. Are there bad matches out there?
SPEAKER_02There we go.
SPEAKER_01Probably, but I can't say nothing about my brothers and sisters because they help people, I know they help people, you know. I got a counselor, people have counselors out here, you know, and they do their job. So as far as that, like I don't know, because they're that they're there for a reason, you know.
SPEAKER_02Right. So I would, I would um I would basically go to a therapist to I mean what in your opinion, you know, and your through your experience, what do they do exactly? Like, you know, uh they have me writing things down and give me suggestions, but I mean, what's the what's the purpose? Because, you know, not only myself, but other people that I know said it was it was useless. But you said you have a counselor, yeah.
Hypnosis Vs Stage Shows
SPEAKER_02So, you know, maybe it's just New York. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01It could be matches. I don't know. I can't really speak on what they do, what they do, but I know they do great jobs. All of their tools and stuff is the same. Well, not the same, excuse me. All of their tools, um, I know they work, you know. I'm I'm not a psychologist, so I can't speak on what they do. I don't have that whole full rapport, right? But I I know what they do as far as their tools and the purpose, and I know it does work. Um people have bad matches out there, possibly, but they they just do what they do. I don't even know. I don't know what to say because all of the people I'm with are great, and my hypnotherapists are not just hypnotherapists, they're not the social workers.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no. I'm talking about therapists, like counselors, like right, that's what I'm talking about, not not hypnotists, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay, but remember, we work in continue working with them as well, yeah. Right, okay. So there's a lot of great people that are helping people. Are there sometimes bad matches? Yeah, probably, right? Uh, but I can't speak on it because all the 80 plus people I be seeing, man, is helping folks out here, you know, like it they do, right?
SPEAKER_02You know, and and let's let's talk about that, you know. Um, so you said the 80 plus people you see, so so how do they work with you in conjunction with you? So let's say I don't know if this is confidential, but let's say if uh Ron he's a type A personality, he's like a soldier, he's like always, you know, some people say I'm uptight, right? So, you know, how like my therapists would suggest some things and how would they work with you?
SPEAKER_01Oh, we would just work together. I can't really get into that into that, but we we do work together uh when referred out as necessary.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay, that's peace. So now, um how many you did how many years? Years of this? Uh one so far. You did uh one one year, and um and do you do like uh uh because I know like with massage therapy, we had to do like clinical work. So you do you do clinical work, clinical hypnotherapists? Yes, yes, to get your hours and your grade credentials gotta get all of that work in, right? So how many people have you seen already? Uh over 20.
SPEAKER_01Over 20. All right. Now and I've also done uh group meditations and group hypnosis a couple of times, so that's way more than 20 people, okay. In that type of setting, you know, as far as clients, I've seen I've seen a couple, I've seen quite a few.
SPEAKER_02All right. Now, as far as you know, hypnosis, you know, commercially versus what's the reality. Can you give us uh some compare and contrast?
SPEAKER_01Well, most people are scared of hypnosis because of the movies, or they think it's not a real thing when you see stage hypnosis, but those techniques are real. You may can attest to that today. So, you know, um, you know, that's why it's clinical on it. It's a real thing for helping people, vocational, avocational self-improvement, motivation, habit changing. But there's also stage hypnotists out there that do it for a show. Now that this has gone on, I want you to go ahead and search up some other shows, right? And tell me if you can find who was really hypnotized and who was not. I bet you you can find them now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you'll be able to see it. Like when I was when I was going through that, right? Like, I wanted to let go, but I didn't. Like, like I like, you know what I'm saying? Like, because I knew I was on camera.
SPEAKER_01You're a little resistant, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I was I was resistant, but it doesn't happen like it was like, all right, go to sleep.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, yeah, no, because that's now let me tell you this though. There is some people that drop like a sack of potatoes. Oh, really? Oh, yeah, because it's about um how the person takes in information, giving information, suggestibility, and a couple of other things. And you know, some people twitch, some don't. Some go real deep, they're still alert, but some go to sleep. You gotta make sure they don't go to sleep,
Therapy Opinions And Working Together
SPEAKER_01you know. Um, because hypnosis is very relaxing. The hypnotherapy part comic is in different portions, I can say. So you can tell, yeah, you can tell who's in, and and also if this was in person one-on-one, it would be a lot different, right? It would be it would have been a lot different, yeah.
SPEAKER_02For sure, for sure. So you said uh hypnotherapy and hypno hypnotic and hypnosis. Okay, what are the there's no difference?
SPEAKER_01It's a little difference because hypnosis is the induced altered state. Hypnosis, you're hypnotized, right? As a hypnotherapist, I induced the altered states and do inducing inductions, and you can look up the definition of it, and uh to get you in a heightened state of suggestibility, so then we can do our works from there.
SPEAKER_02Okay, now then there's other works going on. Now, do you know of any any uh maybe people uh uh uh who who do this? We may know that you know we see in the public eye. Joe Despenser.
SPEAKER_01No, I go to the school he goes to. Oh the school. Listen, let me tell you something. I was sitting right here, I was sitting right here making a video game, okay? And uh I heard him on my YouTube right here say, you know, your thoughts alone can make you sick, can make you ill, can get you stuck in the mood. So is it possible then that your thoughts could peel you and make you better? Scientifically proven, yes, you can. And beloved, I've been down this rabbit hole since 2015, and I'm about to graduate from the same college that Joe Dispenser went to. Nice, nice.
SPEAKER_02So it's not his college, it's a college, a college he went to.
SPEAKER_01The college was started by Dr. Capus.
SPEAKER_02So he knows this, he knows how to do this.
SPEAKER_01Watch his videos again.
SPEAKER_02Because you know, I was heavy on Joe Dispenser like two years ago.
SPEAKER_01Oh, for sure, for sure. Yeah, we conversed about it a little bit. He knows some things, yeah, neuroplasticity, right? Metacognition, right?
SPEAKER_02Now it's coming to me. Yeah, those words, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's it's um it's a lot of beautiful tools out there, and that's why I was saying, like, as far as hypnotherapists, um, therapists, like colleges, all of us play our roles well, and just certain tools are um out there, available. Uh, you should get into the school, man. I think you'll love it. I think you'll like it.
SPEAKER_02Where is it located? In LA. You oh, so you went out there or you're doing online?
SPEAKER_01It's on Zoom, online.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I need to check that out. So now, any other tool, like, okay, so I noticed you were using your you were doing this. Yeah, I think that's what I heard. I was hearing that, right? Yeah, now
Training Path And Client Experience
SPEAKER_02you use that, that's a a way to uh that's a tool, right? And um use bells, do you use anything else?
SPEAKER_01As far as the bells, I just leave that with the sound. I'll use the sound. So, like when I wake up, right, and I'm still in my trance state, I'll make sure everything is good, I run my house, woo-woo, woo, and I'll come downstairs and I put my instrumental, my ancient music on that help balance and regulate with my frequency, and then I can start putting and categorizing, carpmentalizing, then the bell might go off. I got my own anchors and certain sounds that I listen to. Um, so that's one for me is sound and white noise. Another good anchor for you if you're trying to get your attention back into a focus of right now mode, squeeze right here in between your thumb and your finger, and just that little pressure, just that little shock of nerve to come right there can distract you from that unwarranted thought, real quick, so you can balance yourself and key yourself and understand that this is peace and this is calm.
SPEAKER_02That's interesting because in Morris science, pressing hands, when you press hands, so so in Morris Science, you don't shake like like this. Morris Science, you press, and so you I'm pressing your that spot you're talking about, and you're in turn pressing mine, that same spot, so girl Grammet spot, Grammet, that's the name of it. So that that's that's pretty interesting, right there.
SPEAKER_01It's so many tools, beloved, it's so many things,
Public Figures And Mind Body Science
SPEAKER_01and the mind is such a beautiful place, and as far as being the operator as a uh hypnotist, hypnotherapist, um it just makes me feel good that I could do a difference in helping people and assisting them to have a better outcome, you know, because I went through it, you know. I could have just been Cyrus the virus out here, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever. Capital Heights, three different but I had, you know, and Joe Despenser kicked it off, it caught my attention. Boom. What happened? I got in a whole hypnotized trance. Wait, hold up. You still in Capitol Heights? I still visit, of course.
SPEAKER_02That's one time okay, okay. I'm in the mountains. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. So, Joe Dispenser, anyone else besides Joe Despenser that deals with hypnosis that the in the public eye?
SPEAKER_01Um, oh man, there's a lot of people that do hypnosis, honestly, that you might not know. Uh that's actually doing it. Hmm.
SPEAKER_02You don't have any drawing on me.
SPEAKER_01I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I think uh Joe Tabanella. Joe Tabanella, I think like um uh wonderful instructor and stuff, I think he played in a couple of movies as well. Uh man, there's a lot of people, to tell you the truth, honestly, people that you wouldn't even think is like doing hypnosis, but they're doing some type of altered trance state. Um, and you just don't know it. So, for a lot of people, like I say, when I ask them, have you been hypnotized? And they be like, No, I never been. Yes, you have. You just don't know. That's you know, also what it's called.
SPEAKER_02Now, I want to ask you this too. Um these questions that you asked, right?
SPEAKER_01The question of the yellow, bitter,
Words As Suggestions That Shape Life
SPEAKER_01sour, fresh, when when when you bring up that when when hold on, if someone was meant was to mention yeah, that's just for me to learn how uh to take in information. Okay, so let's say if I said uh let's say if my mouth watered by mentioning those those words, it lets me know uh a little bit of information about you, just how you take in information. That's why you can't pass or fail. There's no right or wrong. It just let me know um a little bit about you, a little bit of your suggestible state.
SPEAKER_02Now it is interesting because you asked uh whether my parents' voices, uh I remember my parents' voices or what they said, something like that, right? So, and I said I said what they said. So what what why ask that question?
SPEAKER_01Well, some people, you know, can hold on to word for word, you know, and they would take things literal and things of that nature, but some people you you might have known, you know, being familiar with the DMV, and of course, New York, like you would look at somebody and be like, Why you say it like that? And because of the way they say it ain't even really what they said, they said it in kind of a way, so certain things and certain questions that I asked just let me know the information about you. Because some people are literal, and some people gotta kind of figure it out, like, oh, I heard what you said, but what you really say? I don't really know what you mean. When if I told you to do this and you now I did it and you stuck to it, you would consider that's direct and literal, right? Right sometimes I could probably say something, and then you're like, Yeah, I heard what he said, but what do we mean? What is what are you inferring here?
SPEAKER_02So I think I already know what you're talking about automatically. Oh, I already know what he's talking about, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01All right, yeah, so it gets like that. I learned a little bit of information about you, and um it's so crazy, man, because the mind can probably filter and and facilitate something, and then you might can say something out your mouth, but the body don't lie to you, and the body is always showing signs and symptoms, you know. So uh words are very, very, very, very powerful, and we all know that sticks and stones break my bones, the words will never hear me. Somebody said something crazy about you, it probably hurt your feelings before. So we know words are powerful, right? Do you know how words are powerful? Do you know how to use those powerful words? Can you even think clearly to use those words? Believe in it, get a sense of that, feel that, let it resonate, let it flow. Don't talk to yourself crazy. You can't talk to yourself with the can't, with the but or with the because with the all of them curse words. You cannot do that, those are barriers, it's holding you back. I could do this, but I ain't gonna do it because uh I'm like this because this happened ever since I was such and such when I was younger. Keep telling me, and when this happened, this happened, mm-hmm. So, but this is 30 years in the future now, so that thought alone in your head went all the way back there, subconscious, brought it all the way back and altered your thoughts, emotions, and your behavior. Now you're in the mood, you gotta change that perception. Is up in here. What type of trance state are you in? Some people get stuck, and we're here to help us fist.
Where To Find Cyrus And Closing
SPEAKER_02Indeed, indeed. On that note, man, we're gonna close out today's uh bill. Uh, let people know where they could find you. Uh, we're gonna come back and do this again. I would like to have brother sincere on and um uh Paul Dyer on on the next one so y'all can really chop it up. Um, so let people know where they could find you.
