How We Heal with Ryan Pink

Inflammation in the Body: A Natural Solution (Dana Kay)

Ryan Pink Season 1 Episode 44

Dana digs deeper into her own story including her son’s journey into the world, some of his challenges, and then being diagnosed with ADHD at 4 years old. She shares the melt-downs and other challenging behaviors that were present and what happened when she decided to pursue the path of medication to treat ADHD first.

She describes the pivotal moment that changed her perspective on how to treat ADHD that pushed her along a new path for her own life and career and support her son more fully.  Changes were made and tests were run and the result of the shifts led to him calming down and focusing better. She feels that there are many things you can do, and the best place to start with treating ADHD is usually diet, which means focusing on whole and nutritious foods.
