In this episode which we're calling our July, 2024 update I'm going to bring you some features on some upcoming episodes.
And some of the events we're going to be doing this summer and into this fall.
Now the most immediate upcoming episode has been teased a number of times on the show is my hour-long interview with Russ Charvonia, who is the Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of California. And the author of “The Civility Mosaic”. I had a great conversation with Russ and I'm really looking forward to broadcasting that. I've listened to it several times now and it's ready to go. We had to interrupt the regular scheduled broadcast of that episode because we had a Chris Hodapp on the show to promote Grand Masonic Day which we did a number of weeks ago.
We also did record quite a bit more material at Grand Masonic Day, including some more commentary from Brother Hodapp, Brother west Regan and I getting together to discuss the material that Brother Hodapp presented. Some of the other presentations that were done as well as nearly hour and a half long wind-down panel that we had with about a dozen attendees and presenters, including Christopher Hodapp, Wes Regan and Ken Lane who is one of my co-organizers for Esotericism in Freemasonry conference.
Our first listener event will take place this July 18th. Thursday July 18th at a secret location in the Vancouver area. If you're interested in attending, please email me at troy@mystictye.com. And I'll get you the details. This event will be limited to about 30 attendees. So please, if you're interested in coming, please email me and we can work out the details.
Esotericism In Freemasonry conference will be taking place September 27th, 28th, 29th. We're bringing it back for 2024. This is our eighth year of doing it and our third year at the Ballard Masonic Center. We heard you loud and clear with all the feedback from last year. This year, there will be much more time for socializing and events outside of the Lodge space. On the Friday night, we'll be hosting a meditation and perhaps some entertainment as well as a pub meet. On the Saturday there will be a keynote from Ike Baker and presentations from Dr. Nathan Schick the author of “The Grand Communication” a new book out from Tria Prima Press. Presentations on the Sunday which will be by past presenters Jamie Paul Lamb and Danny Newman, with some more practical applications for the material we discuss at this event. We're also bringing back the VIP dinner on the Saturday night.
