Summer School with the Theology Department: Why Should I Attend Church?
Summer School with your favorite Theology Department is back! In our first of four summer episodes, Mr Kohlwey and Mr Vanderhyde discuss the importance of being part of a church community. Mr Kohlwey is our Director of Campus Ministry and a senior theology teacher, and Mr Vanderhyde is our (newly minted) Campus Pastor and a junior theology teacher.
In this episode, we cover what the New Testament means by "church," why it's important to regularly be in worship with others, what makes a "good" church, and more. If this episode leaves you with any questions, please reach out! You can email podcast@lhsparker.org, marty.kohlwey@lhsparker.org, or daniel.vanderhyde@lhsparker.org.
Next time, we are excited to bring you Theology of the Cross with Mr Parrott and Mr Fischer!
Our intro, outro, and segment music were written and recorded by Mr. Matt Zoeller. You can find us on most of the socials under the Lutheran High School handles.
If you have a question you want answered on the Pod, we do Q&A episodes each season! Submit questions anytime to podcast@lhsparker.org.
