Tapping into the Power of Gratitude Through Tattoo Art
Sep 05, 2023 Season 1 Episode 9
Irina Jordan

“For me, tattoos are more than just decorative art on the body. They serve as powerful mantras that anchor me to gratitude, mindfulness, and the present moment.”

We’re tapping into the power of gratitude with guest Irina Jordan's beautiful body art. Each of her five tattoos are mantras that keep Irina anchored and connected to gratitude, while amplifying female empowerment and her beloved Russian Heritage.

Irina shares how she came to embrace body art later in life, with each tattoo carrying deep meaning and a constant reminder of the values and intentions she holds dear.

Many of Irina’s tattoos are inspired by her Russian heritage, beginning with her first tattoo, a Russian mantra for gratitude,

Irina prefers tattoos that she can easily see without the need for mirrors or contortionist moves. They become her personal touchstones, easily accessed throughout the day.

When it came to selecting a tattoo artist, Irina took a unique approach. She turned to a private Facebook group and sought recommendations from fellow tattoo enthusiasts, which led her to Studio 454 and a talented artist, Lauren Bartram, who is now a dear friend.

Irina is excited to get her next two tattoos, a fox and a rabbit, both works of art designed by her daughter.

Tune in as Irina takes us through the intricacies of her tattoo designs, influenced by Russian mythology and folklore, and shares the collaborative process she undertook with her trusted tattoo artist.
