Embracing Authenticity Through Body Art

Jennifer Cassara

"I used to think I had to tuck in my personality to fit into the corporate world. But now, my body art truly represents who I am. It's the visual manifestation of embracing myself and my passions."

Jennifer Cassara always knew she wanted to get a tattoo, but she constantly struggled with embracing her true self and expressing it outwardly due to a fear of judgment and rejection, especially in the corporate arena.

A serial entrepreneur and the founder of GoodRobe & Co, Jennifer shares how she went from a teeny tiny, carefully hidden tattoo to a forearm tattoo, and finally a big, gorgeous tattoo displayed proudly across her back, amplifying and celebrating her authentic inside self to the outside world.

Throughout our conversation Jennifer reflects on the evolution of her tattoos and the progression towards designs that truly resonate with her colorful and outgoing nature.

Her first tattoo was a simple, black and white outline of her husband's name and the logos of her two businesses.

With each new tattoo, Jennifer begins to break free from the fear of judgment and embraces her authentic self. It's a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance that many listeners can relate to.

Jennifer's ink story is a reminder that we can all find the courage to show our true selves, even in a world that oftentimes wants us to conform.
