Speaker 1:

Hi everybody, I've got a bonus episode today. Season two does not drop until Tuesday, january 16th, but I wanted to share a very exciting announcement with you today, and that is that for 2024, I am now offering group coaching. Now I've done an episode about my private coaching. That is when I work with you one on one and it is custom tailored to you and whatever you need to be working on. Right now as a nursing student, group coaching is a little bit different, a little bit more affordable and a little bit of a different style. So I'm going to talk about the three different groups that I have and see which one might be a good fit for you. The first is NCLEX preparation, so that's for anybody who is a recent grad who is about to start preparing for your NCLEX, or you're just starting to prepare for your NCLEX. Another group is first year nursing students. So for all of you who are about to start your first year, or for all of you accelerated students, your first semester and that is a group dedicated to those students. Then a third group is for beyond the first year, so anywhere in between, you finish your first year or, as an accelerated student, you finish your first semester but you haven't graduated yet. So those are the three groups. Let me talk a little bit about what is going to happen in each one. So every group coaching group is going to meet once a week for 60 minutes and we may do a couple pop up sessions in between that time. And we you may choose to also do a private session, because you'll get discounts on private sessions as well. But we'll meet virtually once a week for 60 minutes and they'll be at different times to accommodate different schedules. Of course I have to do it live, so I have to work around my nursing schedule, but the the times are posted online. If you cannot attend a certain session, they'll always be recorded and you can access them at any time as a member.

Speaker 1:

Okay, the NCLEX group. For all of you who just graduated, I'm talking to you. When I graduated, I know I felt a wave of panic and anxiety because throughout nursing school, as hard as it was, you always had somebody there to kind of push you and tell you what you needed to do when the test was, and you kind of knew somewhat your plan of how you were going to study for it the NCLEX. Now you're done. You have no teachers telling you what to do. You have literally no idea how you're going to plan your time to study for the NCLEX, and you might be in a state of panic that you've never felt before. At least that's how I felt. I felt so alone. I felt like what am I even supposed to do? What review course should I take? How many tools should I use to study? Which test banks should I use? All these different questions.

Speaker 1:

So this group coaching program is meant for you. First, once you join, I will meet with you privately first and we will talk about your study plan, and then, all during the group sessions, we will absolutely talk about how to spend your time, how long you should spend studying before you take your NCLEX. The bulk of our time is going to be drilling and dissecting practice questions To get you ready, to get you confident come test day. This is not a tutoring program. This is not a prep class. I expect that you come to each session ready to do some practice questions with a base level of knowledge. But we're going to talk. This is like a support group for everybody who is studying for NCLEX and we can talk about anything and everything, from how to care for yourself, how to study. What do you do during your downtime? What programs are you using to study? When should you take this thing? What should you expect? All of these different things. I have been through it before and I can help you. So that's that.

Speaker 1:

Group. Second group first year, nursing students we will talk about everything. We will talk about how to set yourself up for success, how to care for yourself, how to put yourself in the right mindset for nursing school, how to start approaching nursing exams, how to take each class. Break it down. How much time should you be spending on each individual class? What do you do if you have a professor who doesn't vibe with your learning style? How should you approach clinical? Whatever questions you have, we will customize it to what the group needs and each and every group will have its own private chat. So anytime you just pull out your phone, ask the group a question, I will be on there to support you.

Speaker 1:

If you've got an exam coming up, you've got a group, a community, behind you to support you, to cheer you on. If you're having a moment where you're having a meltdown, we are all here. We are a community. We are really kind of like a group therapy every week, but I'm here to keep you on track, to keep you on course. So if you are about to start nursing school, you're in your first semester, you are freaking out a little bit about how you're going to manage everything. Group coaching may be the perfect thing for you. We will meet once a week, again at varying different times. It will be recorded so that you can tune back and listen at any time, and that is what that one is about.

Speaker 1:

Then the third group is called Beyond the First Year, that is for every other nursing student You're done your first year or your first semester, if you're accelerated and we're going to start talking a little bit about how to prepare for NCLEX. That's part of it. Another part is how to avoid burnout, and we will be dissecting nursing exam questions at a bit more of an advanced level than the other groups, since you've been through a little bit already. We will boost our exam scores by drilling those practice questions. We'll talk about how to approach exams. We'll talk about how to care for yourself, how to plan your time, how to organize your study time, because, let's face it, guys, time is our most valuable resource. You've got to take what you have and make the most use out of it.

Speaker 1:

So if you have barely squeezed by in nursing school, if you just barely passed a class and you're nervous about this upcoming semester, come join group coaching. That is what this is for. Even if you're doing amazing, if you're a straight A student top of your class, you still have moments of self-doubt of how am I going to do this, of how could I be doing even better. And we will all be together. We will all be talking about all of these things, doing different challenges, different exercises, and I guarantee you you will do so much better in nursing school with this kind of support, 24-7,. You're going to have this group chat going as well, and we will all be here to be each other's cheerleaders and encourage one another and just be there for each other, because nursing school is very difficult. It's the hardest thing I've ever done. I've said that before and I'm a nurse now and I still think nursing school is harder. You never stop learning as a nurse, but there's no exams.

Speaker 1:

Anyways, guys, I just wanted to share that this service is now available. I'm so excited to get started. I can't wait to connect with and meet all of you. If you have any questions, go to my website, nursingstudentcoachcom. Email me, laurenatnursingstudentcoachcom. Dm me, whatever, however you can find me. I'm reachable on lots of different ways.

Speaker 1:

And now, through the end of January, if you use the promo code GROUP that's an all-caps G-R-O-U-P you will get 20% off your first month of group coaching. It is a monthly subscription and you can cancel at any time. That's how the structure of group coaching will work. It is once a week sessions and in between you've got the group chat and you'll be getting 30% discount on any private coaching if you choose to supplement and do private coaching as well.

Speaker 1:

I hope this helped clarify things for you. I hope to see you all there and I hope to just make your nursing school experience the best that it can possibly be, so that you can become the best nurse you can possibly be. Let's get you on the right track, starting now, and let's get this going. Let's face this semester strong and let's make it your best semester yet, or, if you're about to take the end clicks, let's pass that thing on the first time and let's go claim that nursing license. I hope you guys have an awesome day. Take care and I'll see you on Tuesday, january 16th, for the start of season two of Nursing Student Coach. Bye-bye.
