What's Happening at Work
For years, What’s Happening at Work podcast has been a space where I, Joyce Odidison, President of Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc. and founder of the Global Workplace Wellness Summit, shared practical strategies and insights to help you navigate challenges in the workplace.
Drawing on my 27+ years of experience as a Conflict Analyst, I offered tools to shift toxic interpersonal dynamics, reduce stress, and foster resilience and well-being. Together, we explored the realities of workplace conflict, dis-ease, and transformation.
As I close this chapter, I want to thank you for tuning in and being part of this journey. While What’s Happening at Work is coming to an end, the conversations don’t stop here. I’m excited to continue this work in new ways through my latest projects, where the focus on resilience and well-being will be deeper and more impactful than ever.
Join me for my new podcast: The Resilience Catalyst show where I am focusing on the issues that I see so often, low resilience and a lack of understanding about how to build resilience in the 9 dimensions of life
Thank you for listening, learning, and growing with me. I hope you join me over here: https://resiliencecatalyst.buzzsprout.com/

Guest Bio
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur wears multiple professional hats—she's a licensed professional counsellor, certified clinical mental health counsellor, executive coach, author, and public speaker. Yet, a simple question from her five-year-old daughter distilled her complex roles into an inspiring mission. During a bedtime moment, her daughter innocently queried, "Mom, what do you do for work?" Surprised by the need to articulate psychotherapy plainly, Gurpreet replied, "I listen to people talk about what makes them sad, afraid, excited, and happy. Then I help them figure out how they can be even happier." Her daughter summarized it perfectly: "So, you help people be happy." Gurpreet's journey revolves around fostering happiness and emotional resilience. Armed with a doctorate in education and counselling psychology and 17 years of experience in mental health, she thrives on exploring the intersections between counselling, Eastern philosophies, and quantum mechanics. She is a faculty member at Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc. of the Well-being Intelligence Curriculum.
