Come get Weir-d with us as we talk through chapters 1-15 of Andy Weir's second follow up The Martian, Project Hail Mary, soon to be a major motion picture starring Ryan Gosling! We explore what we like and dislike so far, the book's humor, Andy Weir's personality overlap in his writing, and the believability of the science that is portrayed. Was this book written explicitly with the idea that it would be adapted for the screen? Will there be any kind of immediate threat to our hero's mission in the second half? Will Ryan Gosling manage to make our incel protagonist charming? We probably don't have the answers, but we it won't stop us from talking through it!
