DON’T STOP TALKIN’ ABOUT IT!

SPEAKER_00

Well hello. Hola Kanichiwa Swadika Chapella It's your girl, your friend, your sis, your chica, and your Amiga, your homegirl in the gospel lyric, the lyrical miracle McCree. Welcome back to my podcast. Let's talk about it. So I really wanna keep it as brief as possible, but I really wanted to just share something that is on my heart, and it is dealing with when the enemy accuses us. His playbook, it's the same, it doesn't change. It's been what it's been since he's been, what he's been. And so I just want to encourage you, and I pray that this will bless you and encourage you and help you to see yourself differently, like the way the Lord sees you, and not the way the enemy has painted you to be. And because I was so behavior-driven, perfectionist, complex having, it was very easy to keep me trapped in that and looking at myself and looking at myself, and oh, I can't believe I said that. Oh, I didn't mean to do that, or just but I was always focused on myself. And the more time the the longer and the more time we spend focused on ourselves, guess who we spend less time focused on? Exactly. The Lord and what his word says and what he says about us. So just know that when the enemy is accusing you, it's it's because he does not have any other thing that he can that he can use. And it literally depends on whether or not we accept it. He has no basis for his accusations. If we were under the law, he would. Every single one of them, once and for all. And you can find that in Matthew 5 17, that the full judgment, the full punishment, the curse for all of our sins fell upon them, and he paid them all. And because the price has been fully paid, you and I can stand perfectly righteous and completely justified before the Father. So then what do we do when those accusations come? Well, Revelation 12 10 through 11 tells us the accuser of our brethren has been cast down already, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb. Do you see that? The devil is called the accuser, but he has been already cast down. So his accusations have no standing. And so, how do we overcome him? Not by defending ourselves, not by trying harder, but by the blood of the Lamb, according to the word, by reminding ourselves that Jesus' blood has already forgiven every sin and satisfied every demand of the law. That's why his death, his burial, his resurrection, it's called the finished work at the cross. It's it's finished. I believe that's why the last thing he said was, it is finished. What is finished? Every debt that we owed, every punishment for our sins, it's finished. Amen. So the next time the enemy comes, you know, whispering and trying to remind you of your failures, I always say, first of all, remind him of his future. Don't try to come tell me about my past. You you worry about your future because that's what you should be concerned about, devil. But the next time that he comes whispering and reminding you of your failures, pointing out your shortcomings and suggesting that you are somehow disqualified. I invite you to lay hold of what the Lord has done and what he says about you. You have the most powerful advocate on your side. I have the most powerful advocate on my side, and that's Jesus Christ, the righteous, who represents you and me at the right hand of the Father. He literally represents us at the right hand of the Father. And that's found in 1 John 2, 1 through 2. The blood of Jesus is what silences the enemy's accusations, and in Christ, we are fully forgiven, fully righteous, and fully accepted. We are accepted in the beloved. So I just pray that you'll discover how the Lord's finished work has fully silenced every accusation and the significance of his blood and us being conscious of what he has accomplished and how it empowers us to walk in true freedom, victory, lasting joy, and confidence. Confidence in our father. I like to call it confidence because our confidence is not in ourselves, our confidence is in the one who has all power. And he is our father. So we do not walk in condemnation, we do not accept any lies of the enemy. I mean, after all, he is a liar, so why would we believe him? And yet we always say the devil is a liar, he is a liar, and yeah, we believe him. We believe him, we literally believe him, and we know that he is a liar. So I would just um admonish you to really, really, really hone in and tune in to what the Lord says about you. And the only way for us to know what the Lord says about us is to read his word. We can't combat the enemy in our own strength. Every time the enemy said something, whenever the devil approached Jesus, Jesus always responded with the word. It is written. It is written, it is written. And so if the Lord, Jesus Christ Himself, fought with the Word, then our weapons are no different. He showed us by example how we fight, and we fight back with His Word, because His Word is truth, and the enemy who is a liar is no match for the truth. And the word says, What? And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. It's the truth that should make you free. And the only way to be free by the truth is to know what the truth is. And so I pray in Jesus' name that you were blessed by this small short talk. And I I pray that you receive what the Lord has done for you, that it changes your mind, and that you become so aware of what the Lord has done. Not just that he died on the cross, but what that means for us. What does that mean for us that he died on the cross? And so I pray that you will be blessed, encouraged, highly favored because you are, and that you will walk in the peace and the victory that the Lord has given to you. So I will see you next time, and thank you for stopping by my podcast, and don't forget to talk about it.
