DON’T STOP TALKIN’ ABOUT IT!
Well hello, hola, bonjour. Good each one, Sabarika, Jumbo, Chow, Prevet, Niho, I am a sayo, Mahaba, Namaste. What's up? It's your girl, your friend, your sis, your chica, and your amiga, your homegirl and the gospel. Lyric. The lyrical miracle McCree. Hello. What's up, y'all? I'm so glad that you stopped by my little podcast and stuff. I just really wanted to share what the Lord has shared with me. Um, this week was really eye-opening for me because I was going through a situation where I had to be in court and I was just praying for favor. I literally was asking the Lord for favor, and it did not look like I was getting favor. It really did not. And so um, I just continued to pray and confess to the Lord that I was trusting him because the enemy was trying to rob me of sleep and all kind of stuff. And it wasn't for anything like major or something that was going wrong that I did or broke a law. It wasn't like that, but it was a lawsuit, and I know for a fact that we should win. And it just didn't look like that. And so once I went to court, it really didn't look like that. So I just wanted to share this with you guys. Um I recently did a podcast called Adjust Your Expectations. Um, adjust how we receive and expect from the Lord when we pray about something. Um, don't pray and not believe that he's going to answer. And this court thingy was such um, this court case was such a highlight to me and showing me areas where I wasn't really believing God, even though I thought I was, and I didn't realize it until the outcome came in my favor, y'all. It was in my favor. But initially, um it didn't look like it was in my like it really, like all the when I say things are stacked and were stacked against me, I don't even know how to make you understand that it just did not look like this thing could go in my favor. Even my attorney said it. She said, you know, I'm gonna do my best, and I believe you have a strong case, but I can't guarantee you anything. And I was not mad at her for that. So once we started to prep for the case and all that stuff, I just decided, you know what, Lord, I'm gonna just do it. I'm gonna trust you, and it is what it is, but I have discovered that it is what it is. Saying that is another way of saying I don't really believe this is going in my favor, so you know, however it turns out, that's how it turns out. I didn't realize that that's what it really meant meant until I just found myself saying it over and over to soothe myself just in case I was disappointed about how it turned out, which brought me to the thought of disappointment in addition to fear and comparison is a thief. Um, I've done previous podcasts where I spoke about those things, um, fear and uh comparison is a thief, but honestly, disappointment is a thief too because it has a way of making us feel like because we've gone through so many things, why should I expect that this will go in my favor? And I didn't even realize that I was taking that attitude into this situation until after the Lord worked it in in my favor. And I just cried and I just thought, oh my goodness, Lord, like it's like He brought it to me in such a beautiful way where I could perceive it and digest it and accept that you didn't really expect me to do this for you, girl. You didn't, you didn't, you didn't really expect it. You didn't, but it's okay. I did it anyway, and he did, and when he did it, and he brought these things to my attention, it just reminded me of something that I shared with you all in a previous podcast about something that the Lord said to me one day when I was in the kitchen, I was cooking, and while I was cooking, I just felt the urge to pray about something. I was asking the Lord for something, and in my mind, in my infinite mind, or is it infinite or finite? In my finite mind, I thought that there's no way. Even though I was praying about it, I think deep down I really felt like there ain't no way. Because while I was praying, I stopped in the middle of the prayer and I said out loud, Lord, I don't even know why I'm asking you for this. This is so ridiculous. You're probably not even gonna do this. Like, in my mind, it just felt so ridiculous for me to be asking him to do that. Like, my God is not the God that owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Like, my God is not the God that parted the Red Sea. Like, my God is not the God that gave Gideon a fleece every time he asked for confirmation for something. Like, my God is not the God that bid Peter to come onto the water hello in the middle of a storm. Like, my God is not the God who rose on the third day. Like, what? So that's how I was uh carrying on, y'all. I was carrying on. Like our like our God is not that God. Like he like he ain't that God. You know what I mean? The only God, the only true and living God. Like he is not that. I want to say, like, he ain't that dude. He's not a dude, but that homegirl part of me wants to say, like, he ain't that dude, you know? Like he's the one. He is that one. And so I was really, uh, I was struggling. I was struggling. And I didn't even know that I was struggling. And I made this comment in the kitchen to the Lord while I was praying. You probably won't even do that for me because why would you? Like, it was just so defeated. And I heard the Lord so clearly. It wasn't out loud, like if you spoke to me, but it was loud inwardly. Like I heard what I heard, period. It was not in my exterior environment, it was in me. Like it wasn't like when a person is talking to you outside and I hear you audibly outside, but I heard it audibly inside. And I when I finished, I didn't even finish praying when I I think I was halfway through the prayer, and I just gave up. I just stopped. And I said, Lord, I don't even know why I'm asking you for this, because this sounds so ridiculous for me to be asking you this. And the Lord said, See, that's the problem. You think I bless you because you're good. I bless you because I'm good. What say what, Jesus? Say it again. What? It like really, it it I heard it so clearly inside of me that I almost dropped my utensils. Like I like it, really, I was like, oh wow. I'm on the I'm cooking, like I'm cooking dinner, and I'm about to drop everything in my hand because it was so profound and it was so the Lord, and I knew it. And I've heard the Lord's voice before, but it was this was different, and so this case reminded me of that moment. You think I bless you because you're good, I bless you because I'm good, and so while I'm thinking that everything is against me, I mean, how many stories in the Bible have we read and seen where the odds were against them and the Lord showed up and showed out in such a way that some people don't even believe that it happened? Like, you gotta be some kind of God to show up so powerfully that some people don't even think you did that. Like, yeah, you didn't you didn't mm-mm. No, somebody wrote this Bible, and that's what they added. That's not what really happened, but it really happened, and you know it happened, or you can believe that it happened because the Lord has dutch has done, excuse me, such phenomenal things for you that you know that the Bible, yeah, I don't believe that it's exaggerated because personally the Lord has done the Lord has done so many things for me in so many ways that yeah, I I believe what the Bible says. I yeah, I believe what it says. You don't think that's crazy? No, I I don't. I don't like I'm so convinced that nothing can unconvince me that the word of God is the truth. No one can convince me that it's not because I've seen that word manifest in my life, and that's why I believe it. That's why I believe it. I've seen so many things that don't make sense, but I know who I prayed to, and I know he answered, and so I know that it was him, but in the last episode I I talked about adjusting your expectations like really changing what we expect from the Lord because most of us come from a place, or many of us come from a place of uh being disappointed, and so we don't expect certain things from the Lord that we should expect, because disappointment it is a beast, it hurts, it hurts, and so if you're anything like I have been, in your mind you're thinking, like, why would I expect God to do something different? Because look at what I've gotten. And it's just easier for me to think it is what it is, or if it doesn't happen, it's okay, than for me to think, oh no, it's going to happen, and then it doesn't, and then what and that's where I was with this court case. And when I say that this case and this whole this whole hearing was so it was so next level, it was so scientific. Like it felt like it was out of a movie. Like I had the right representation, but the judge, I could oh, I could just feel her energy, the witnesses, the everything, and I was like, Lord, they're lying. Like I was like pointing out all the lies, I was listening to all of the deception, and it was bothering me, but I know that the people of God will be persecuted, but in that moment, it did not feel good, and it felt like because the judge was just as combative and whatever the word is, it just felt like that this is not going in my favor. It's not, there's no way. Even my attorney said when once it was over, she called me and she said, I won't lie. Based on this judge's demeanor and her attitude, and I don't expect this to go in your favor, but it's okay because we will take it to the superior court. So I was encouraged by that. But do I want to do that? No, I don't. I'm over it. Like this has been going on since January. I'm I'm done, is how I felt. So we talked about it. We expressed, you know, how the judge and everyone was behaving and all the lies and inconsistencies that my attorney caught and pointed out, but it seemed like the judge was attacking her. And I'm like, Lord, I literally prayed for favor with this judge. I prayed for favor. I prayed for you to expose the lies of these other people. And when the when the court hearing was over, I won't lie, I literally felt defeated. I felt so defeated. I just was walking around my living room and pacing, and then I went to my kitchen, I was pacing until I had to just come to a conclusion, like, you know what? I can't let this thing drive me like this. This is this is too much. What happened happened. I spoke my peace, I told the truth. I know these other people were lying, you know they were lying. Um, it's literally in your hands, Lord. So I asked him to help me let it go and to leave it in his hands and to just relax and go on about my day, and that's what I did. About an hour and a half later, I went swimming, y'all. I went downstairs and got myself in the pool because it was like 192 degrees. It was so hot, it was so hot, and it was not even 11 o'clock a.m. yet, and I was just like, I can't take this heat. The court hearing ended at like 9:40, and I just kept find myself sitting here thinking about the results and what if, and like, I don't know. I was I was overthinking it, and the enemy was using it to rob me of my peace and my joy and my day. And the Lord just, you know, he stepped in and I was like, you know what? Uh-uh. So after I prayed, I felt the peace of God. I let it go. I went swimming, I came back, washed my hair, did everything I needed to do. And honey, listen, right when I not right when I sat down, but like an hour after I sat down doing everything from doing everything I needed to do, the attorney called. And I almost didn't even pick up because I was like, I don't want to hear nothing. Like I'm just because it's the same day of the try of the hearing, and so I didn't want to hear anything else. But I was like, let me just call, let me just pick up and see what she's talking about. And her first reply was, Miss McCree, you're you're not gonna believe this. But the way she said it made me it made it sound like it was going to be something else that was negative. So I said, Oh brother, what is it now? She said, You're not gonna believe this. I got a response already from the judge. I said, from the hearing today, she said, yeah, that is unheard of. She said, but the other thing is she approved your case. Like, you won. I was like, no way. She said, yes, you did. We were, I could hear it in her voice that she was so shocked. Because when I say that judge was combative with my lawyer, but I heard my lawyer go from super professional, she didn't get ghetto or anything like that, but she was really, she was really fighting for us. She really was, and I was just so proud to have her as my attorney. Like, she was not intimidated at all by this judge, and it really felt like the judge was trying to intimidate her, but she was not backing down, she was not unprofessional, but she was assertive, she was stern, and it was clear that she was not afraid, like she already knew what the next step was going to be for her if this thing didn't go in our favor. And for her to call me and tell me that, she was like, I don't, I can't even believe it. I was like, me either. I'm I'm shocked. But it went in our favor. And I was just so grateful because it was just like another way of the Lord showing me you need to adjust your expectations. Because I don't perform based on like the person does not have to be all sweet, sweet, syrupy, sweet in your favor or appear to be in your favor for me to work it in your favor. And I think based on the judge's demeanor, I know, based on her demeanor, based on the lies that the other people were telling, I was like, oh, come on. And it did seem like she was on their side because when my attorney stepped in and was standing up for me, this lady was so condescending and so rude. I was like, oh Lord, are you kidding me, Jesus? Like, this is like out of the twilight zone. Like, why is this judge so confrontational and so upset with my attorney? Because my attorney says she's never encountered her before. And she just, and then I just started thinking, it is the presence of God. I've prayed over this case. Of course the enemy is mad. He's raging, he's upset. He's he's not, he don't, he doesn't like this. And so um, when I get home, I'm in my kitchen and I'm telling telling the Lord, you know, Lord, this is in your hands, and I just want to be done with it. Um, I just I kind of feel this peace. And like I said, I went swimming and everything. And when that lady called me and told me that not only did I get a response, it was a response in my favor. She said, This has never happened. I've never had a judge respond in hours. Like the hearing was over at 9 20. By before 12 30, we had a response. She said, This has never happened before. It's never happened before. I can't believe it. Like, we talked for like 20 more minutes just saying how we can believe it based on how this judge was responding to her. The judge wasn't rude to me, but she was awful to my attorney. She was wow. And so it just made me realize like it doesn't matter if the situation looks like it's stacked against you. It can be stacked against you. It was stacked against the children of Israel when they had to cross the Red Sea. Like, how do you cross a sea? And you have people, armies pursuing you to kill you, and all you have is ocean in front of you? How is this supposed to work out? Well, their God showed up. He parted that Red Sea. Not only did he part it, he drowned the people, their horses that were pursuing them. He drowned them. And once the situation was, once the case was over and I got off of the phone with her, I remember the scripture coming to me from Psalms, like you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. And the thought that came to me was, excuse me, if if you're willing, God is willing to prepare if you're willing to eat. And it's so true because He literally prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Like we had all these people just lying. Lying, lying, lying to the very end, taking oaths in court, lying. And at first it was making me angry. I won't lie. I was like, really, Lord? I know they saw, I know they were looking at my face because I was just my I cannot even hide how I feel. My face was like, are you serious right now? You are a liar. I didn't say anything though. I didn't say a word. But the judge ruled in my favor. And I'm like, I'm so super grateful. I really, really am. And I've I have struggled with well, I discovered through this situation that I have struggled with a deep-rooted fear of disappointment. Because I really did not want to believe that the Lord. I prayed for the Lord to show us favor and to work this out. But deep down, I think I was holding back, like, yeah, uh-uh. I don't want to do this. I don't want to really give this my attention in a way where I could be disappointed again because I've had so many disappointments. And it's not easy to to confess or to say that, but I have experienced a lot of disappointments in my life, and it affected how I believed God and what I expect from Him. I'm not sure about any of you, but yeah, I believed God. I have believed God for others without limitation or hesitation. But when it came to me, I wavered tremendously. I was bombarded with thoughts of, I know he can do it. That's never been my issue. Can he do it? I've never thought that God can't do anything. God can do anything, and I believe that. I feel like I've believed that since I was a little girl. My struggle has always been, but will he do it for me? And many of you have that same issue. You know God. You really believe God is almighty, all powerful. There is nothing that he can't do, but will he do it for me? And the answer is yes, he will. He really, really will. So I've wavered tremendously in my thought pattern of whether he would do it for me. And I think about the fact that I doubted God's power or I limited Jesus' Jesus in term uh in terms of what he was able to do or willing to do rather. But it was just me. I was literally tying knots in the water holes when it came to believing if he would do what he has done for others for me. And so it's not easy because when you think about when I was a little when I was a little girl, we played with the water holes a lot, especially in the summertime, because we were wetting one another up and filling up water balloons and all those things. And there were times where the water was constricted and we didn't know why. Like, why isn't the water coming through? Because there was a a snag in the water holes, or it was folded somewhere, or there was a knot, there was something that was preventing the flow of that water. But once we fixed it, it flowed just fine. And so I believe that is what the Lord is doing with me. Like he's fixing the knots, the ties, the kinks, and the water holes so that I can trust him freely and allow what he really wants to do for me to flow because I feel like the Lord has been, not feel like I see and I know that the Lord has been fantastic to me. There are times where I did not believe God, y'all. I didn't believe him at all. And I told him, I was like, Lord, I'm so sorry. I know this is sin because your word literally says without faith, it is impossible to please you. But I don't even have it in me to believe you in this situation. Like, I I just I couldn't. I just couldn't. The Lord still came through for me. Oh my goodness, are you kidding me? He still came out on top for me, and so I feel like if the Lord is if the Lord can make my life what it is right now, right now. The Lord has brought me so far, I'm I'm amazed. I'm amazed, and there are many things that I'm experiencing and didn't have anything to do with my faith in him. I had faith that he was able, I just didn't have faith that he would do it for me. And so maybe he counted the faith that I thought he was able enough. I don't know. I don't really know, but I know that he has shown up and showed out for me, and that my life is very different. It's so different than what I thought it could ever be. And if he has done what he has done for me now, and I didn't even believe him fully. My thoughts have been lately: what could my life look like if I really believed and trusted that he can and will do anything for me? Not just that he can do anything, because like I said, that's never been an issue for me. I've always believed that God can do anything. I have always believed that he is almighty and all-powerful. I remember believing in Jesus as a little girl, as far back as four years old. I loved my precious moments, Bible. And what was so telling, especially now that I'm older to see it, is that my mom actually worked witchcraft in voodoo. My mom was a paid witch. She put spells on people. People came to our home and paid my mom to work spells on people. I remember going to the Bombay Candle Shop in Los Angeles, I want to say on 52nd in Central. They served, they sold spell books, candles, powders, whatever you wanted to work a spell on somebody. They had it. And I remember it because my mom took me, we went so often. And I remember that my mom had a friend named Gerald Dean who wanted this man. Like she had met this man and she wanted him really bad. And she came and my mom told me to go in my room, but like little kids do, they don't be listening. I was standing right there in my room door listening to everything going on. And I remember Miss Geraldine telling my mom that she really wanted this man. She loved him. And he's the one. And I remember my mom saying to her, look, if I work this spell, I don't know how to undo it. Like, I can't undo it. So you better make sure you really want this man because he ain't leaving. She was like, No, Marianne, he's the one. He's and when she said that, for some reason, I just closed my door slowly and went in my room. And I was reading my precious mama's Bible. I read that Bible a lot. So I don't know how much time passed, and I know it wasn't a whole lot of time. It wasn't a lot of days, but it was some days. Mr. Odine came back crying. Marianne, you gotta get this man. You gotta, you gotta break this spell. This man is crazy. And I remember my mom telling her, I told you, once I worked this spell, that's it. I don't know how to break it. I just know how to work it. Like, I know how to work it, but I do not know how to break it. And that's why I asked you, are you sure you want this man? And you said yes. I made a mistake. I made a mistake. He gotta go. He is crazy. This man is crazy. My mom said, I don't know what to tell you because I I told you. I don't have, I do not know how to break this spell. And Gerald Dean just sat there and she just cried and cried and cried. And I was like, wow, this is this is crazy right here. Because her expectations were all over the place. And the word says in James 1, I believe it's 7 and 8, that uh that an unstable man, no, not an unstable man, but a man who wavers in his faith is unstable in all his ways. In fact, let me find it. James 1, 8. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. And Miss Geraldine was exhibiting that. She said she wanted that man. My mom worked the spell. She came back. I don't want this man. My mom could not undo the spell. So now your life is all over the place because you don't know what you want. Because you expected one thing and you got something else. I don't want to be that person. I already know I'm not going to get the demonic because I believe in Jesus Christ. I don't believe in spells and witchcraft and all that thing, all that stuff. I believe it exists, but it does not have power over me or any of God's children. But the point is that when God tells us something like a double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways, that's what he means. That's what he means. And so the fact that I could not or have not been able to just reconcile that God's promises don't just apply to other people, they also apply to me because I'm his child. Has shown me that there are areas of instability that have shown up in my life. And now I know why. Because if you are unstable, if you are double-minded, you are unstable in all of your ways. And I have been double-minded with the Lord, and I confess it. I confess it in front of you. I have been double-minded with the Lord a lot. And I think the thing that has really blown my mind is that in spite of that double-mindedness, the Lord has still answered. He has still blessed me. And I don't, it's not that I haven't believed the Lord. And I have confessed to the Lord. Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief. Who was that? Thomas? When he saw the Lord after the resurrection. Yeah, Lord, I believe, but help thou my unbelief. Because I believe God. But sometimes I have a hard time believing God. If that makes sense. And so I just want to encourage you to untie the knots and the water holes. Straighten water holes out so the water can flow freely. So the Holy Spirit can flow freely. Untie the knots. Believe God. Ask Him to help you in the areas where you struggle with believing Him. He's not upset. He's not mad. He's not like, I can't believe you don't trust me by now. Because if He was going to be that way with somebody, it would be me. I have been walking with the Lord for a long time. And I have struggled with walking with the Lord for a long time. And guess what? I have discovered all of this time. The Lord never fails. He's faithful. He never quits. He does not give up on us. I'm living proof that he doesn't. I'm living proof that he does not. He does not give up on us. He does not shame us. He does not make us feel bad. No, he doesn't. And he understands that disappointment experienced frequently can and it does. Like it really does morph into fear. And I experienced disappointment as a child, a teenager, a young adult, an adult. But but normal disappointment. Oh, I didn't get this gift or this toy for Christmas, but I wanted it. Or I expected a certain grade in school, but I fell short. Or I wanted my parents to do something, but it just was not feasible. Due to whatever the reason may be. Some of the things I experienced, they were painful. But it's pain without maturity because I experienced these disappointments with pain, but once I matured, I understood that it was not meanness or abuse because I didn't get what I wanted all the time. In fact, I learned that it is good for me not to get everything I want all the time because the Lord is not that way either. Yes, he gives us the desires of our heart according to his word. But does he give us everything we want? I don't believe so. I don't believe a good parent gives a child every single thing they want. That is detrimental to that child because the world is not going to tell them yes all of the time. So what happens when you give them a yes all the time and they go out into the world, they become aggressive, they become dangerous, they become entitled, they become a lot of different things that we are seeing in our world today. Because nobody told them no when they should have been told no. But I digress. And so, you know, the Lord makes sure that he does things decently and in order. And because he is a fantastic parent, he's not giving me or you or anyone something that they can't handle, that he has not ordained, that they are not ready for. He's just not doing it. So we can be upset all we want to. He's a good parent, so he's not doing it. So I just I'm thankful to the Lord for showing me this next level of fears in my life because I believe a couple of uh, well, I did a couple of podcasts ago address a lot of the fears that I didn't even know I was walking around having. I didn't even know I had them until I prayed. And recently I discovered this one. I did not know that being disappointed was actually a fear of mine because I've been disappointed, disappointed so much. I've been disappointed. My mom was on drugs, she abandoned me. There were times where I was left alone, and I should not have been left alone. There were times where I was molested. There were times where I was exposed to violence. I watched my mom almost kill my stepdad. There are things that I should not I that I should not have witnessed as a child. As a teenager, drive-by shootings and literally people dying in front of me and violence between my mother and a boyfriend or a friend. There were times where I experienced disappointment and fear. And so I think I just learned to fear, or something developed as a result of fear and disappointment, because I literally have I am literally attached to two. Like disappointment and fear are definitely tied together in my circumstance. But I know the Lord is delivering me, which is why he brought it to the surface. Because I had no idea that this was a thing. This was not on the list. And I discovered it, I think I discovered it mostly when I went to Panama. And then when I came back, there were just things that were popping up, and I was like, wait a minute. And this was one of them. Being disappointed. And the thing that brought it out was this court case. That court case literally made me fear to the point where even though I prayed and asked for favor, I just I reconciled in my mind. It is what it is, Lord. That's not the attitude. When you ask the Lord God Almighty, strong in power, who has all things in his hands, who can do all things, who never fails. Your attitude is not, it is what it is. I prayed and confessed and declared, and then when it was all over, I said, but it is what it is. And I said that because deep down I feel like, but I'm not going to expect anything because I know how disappointment works. And it seems to work well in my life. And so if it does, I'm just making it known that I'm prepared. Yeah, I was preparing for defeat. I was preparing for disappointment. Because it has been such a A constant theme in my life. And the Lord showed me that it was the wrong stance to take. Because even in my stance of defeat and fear and not believing that this case will work in my favor. I mean, down to the point where I was in the kitchen and I said to the Lord, that judge was so awful and they lied so much. I may as well, I may have, I should have just asked you for no favor. I don't want help. Because that's literally what it looks like. But how many times have we seen that it looks one way, but it's not that way? The Lord literally gave me a poem, a spoken word piece that says, get your eyes off what you see. I have shared it with you all. Get your eyes off what you see. And it's based on the scripture, for we walk by faith and not by sight. And I'm literally over here strugging, struggling with walking by sight and not by faith. I mean, you can't even make this stuff up. I can't even make it up. I'm over here walking by sight and not by faith. And so, for those of you who are tuning into my podcast and you are expecting, you know, for me to have it all together, I don't. And I believe that that is one of the things that is so wonderful because I'm not trying to hide. I'm not trying to hide. There are things that I won't share just because, for wisdom's sake, it's not good. But there are things that I will share because I don't have it all together. Because the people I'm talking to don't have it all together. And so I won't try to act like I have it all together. I don't have all the answers. And because the people that I'm talking to don't have all the answers, I won't try to pretend that I have all of the answers. Yeah. Sometimes I'm mismatched. Got on one green sock and one orange one. And think I'm looking cute spiritually. But somehow the Lord makes that outfit work out. Somehow He makes it work out. And so this is where I am. This is who I am. And I really pray that something that I'm saying and have said blesses you and helps you to just be you and just be you with the Lord. Like you don't have to measure up to other people's standards. You don't have to be anything except who God created you with all your flaws, faults, proclivities, and idiosyncrasies. The Lord understands them better than you do. And guess what? He's not going to treat you any differently. He's really not. And it's one of the things that I love about him so much. I love it so much. Because he's not just a good father, he's a gracious father, he's a kind and understanding father. He's patient. He's all of the things that I hope to be. He's long-suffering. And sometimes I don't know how I feel about being long-suffering because that means that you suffer along. I don't know how I feel about that. But the point is that he's long-suffering. Like he he's amazing. And so I pray that you have found something that encourages you and helps you and and and unlocks something in you to understand that God does not bless you because you're good. And it's okay. He blesses you because he's good. Any goodness that we have, it's because the Lord dwells in us. His word says a good man's steps are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way. Well, Lord, how can you call me good? Because I have made you righteous. Because I have cleansed all of your sin. And because I dwell, my spirit dwells in you. You can't be anything but good. It doesn't matter what your flaws are because they're already paid for. It doesn't matter what your sins are because they're already paid for. If his spirit dwells inside of you, you are a good man or woman. You are. So cut yourself some slack. Adjust your mindset about God and believe that He is for you and not against you. It's easier than it's it's it sounds easier, excuse me, than it is sometimes, but it's doable. Whatever your situations are, whatever your hangups are, know that he was hung up for your hangups. Give them to him. Be honest with the Lord. He's not looking at you like, oh my god, are you serious? He wants a relationship with you. And he already understands you better than you do. He sees stuff about you that you don't even see. And so then when you finally see it, you're all shocked. And the Lord is like, Yeah, I knew that. And I love you anyway. Like, I still love you. Like, I'm still the same God. The only one that's surprised by our behavior is us. Because the Lord already knows. And so I pray that you are blessed and encouraged and uplifted. And that you will lift your head up and share the word of God, share the gospel, be encouraged, and know that God is with you and for you. And once you walk away from this platform, don't forget to talk about it. I love y'all so much, but God loves you so much more, and I appreciate you stopping by my little podcast. Be blessed.
