Episode 4: The Conflicting Case of Anthony Templet (Part 1)
Today we bring you the first instalment of the conflicting case that emerged when Anthony Templet shot and killed his father.
On Thursday the 6th of June, 2019, Burt Templet died in hospital as a result of the gunshot wound to the head he had received three days prior from his son. Anthony had been swiftly arrested after, unusually, calling the police on himself and confessing to what he had done. His reasoning? Self-defence.
Friends and family were shocked. They couldn't believe this had happened, and even more so that Anthony was the one responsible. But when the media began reporting the crime, the case took an unexpected turn that no one could have seen coming.
So, was Burt's death a calculated killing, or was Anthony really forced to act in self-defence against his father?
