סינמה שו״ת פרק 42: אסף ברנשטיין – מ'החוב' ו'פאודה' אל הוליווד

אסף ברנשטיין, במאי ותסריטאי שחתום על החוב, אלנבי, פאודה, רוח צפונית ו-Warrior של HBO, מתארח בפרק ה 42 של סינמה שו״ת לשיחה עם אבי לודמיר על הדרך הארוכה מילד שמעריץ את ברוס לי אל במאי שעובד בין ישראל להוליווד.
ברנשטיין חוזר לילדות בבית של כותבים, אל הרגע שבו צפה בסרט של ברוס לי בגיל ארבע והבין שהוא רוצה להיות “בצד של הקוסמים”, ואל השנים ב NYU שבהן גילה שכישרון לבד לא מספיק בלי התמדה ועבודה קשה. דיברנו על יונה סידס, הסרט הקצר שזכה בפרס וולג׳ין, ועל החזרה לישראל אחרי שנים של עבודה וכתיבה בארצות הברית.
