Why did Jesus tell us to pay attention to the fig tree? Why did He want us to pay attention to Israel?
Israel is the time clock. Jesus knew that if we were to pay attention to the fig tree, we would be able to see God performing his word. We would be able to see these things happen, and to lift up our eyes, for our redemption is near.
