A stranger at a hotel bar said, “You don’t look like you’ve suffered a day in your life,” and the room went still—not because it hurt, but because it didn’t. What followed was a surprising proof of growth: calm, clarity, and a clean boundary where an old trigger once lived. We unpack the entire moment—from camera talk to invasive questions—and how it revealed the quiet power of a regulated nervous system and a well-practiced “no.”
We walk through the realities of medical trauma, consent, and dignity after seven surgeries, then pivot to a fiery exchange about marriage, tradition, and social security that says more about projection than persuasion. Along the way, we share practical tools for staying grounded: how to recognize when someone’s pain is spilling onto you, how to hold your line without escalation, and how to leave with your peace intact. The takeaway is simple and hard-won: healing isn’t a highlight reel; it’s the ability to choose your response when life hands you disrespect or disbelief.
Expect a clear framework you can use today—building an inner “bubble” of belief that filters what reaches you, spotting the difference between advice and projection, and honoring the friends who help co-regulate in tense moments. If you’re on your own healing path, this conversation will help you name the subtle wins: the trigger that doesn’t bite, the projection that bounces off, the self you return to with ease. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs stronger boundaries, and leave a review to tell us where you’ve noticed your own quiet proof of healing.

What's the invisible force that makes some content resonate deeply while other content falls flat? It's not the hook, the trending sound, or even the call-to-action—it's the energy behind your creation.
Most content creators focus exclusively on tactics and strategies while overlooking the frequency they're emitting when creating. When you post from a place of fear, scarcity, or desperation, that energy transfers directly to your audience. They might not consciously identify why, but they'll feel disconnected, on edge, or manipulated. Conversely, content created from love, abundance, and genuine service creates an immediate sense of connection that no algorithm can replicate.
"Fear motivates people to start when things are tough, but love keeps people going when things get tough." This profound distinction explains why fear-based marketing might drive quick sales but fails to build sustainable communities. When you create content from love, you naturally attract people who match your frequency—individuals with big hearts, pure intentions, and a desire to make meaningful impact. These high-vibe humans become not just your audience but your advocates, creating many-to-many connections rather than just one-to-many broadcasts.
The most powerful step you can take is surprisingly simple: pause before creating. Take a breath, check your nervous system state, and ask yourself what experience you want your audience to have. Are you creating from reactivity or intentionality? Remember that people follow you because your content makes them feel like they belong to something meaningful that aligns with their core values. It's never about perfect backgrounds or flawless delivery—it's about the energy you share.
Ready to transform your content creation process? Start by noticing the energy behind everything you post. Your audience certainly will.

Navigating grief's landscape requires more than just endurance—it demands intention and understanding. In this raw, transformative episode, we explore how grief extends far beyond death to encompass career losses, relationship endings, and shifting identities.
The journey begins with a counterintuitive truth: grief moves faster when we intentionally step into it rather than avoid it. By creating space to fully experience our emotions—scheduling actual time to feel them—we allow that heavy energy to move through our bodies rather than becoming trapped and manifesting as physical pain or illness.
What sets this approach apart is the SAFE framework: Shift your stories and beliefs about the loss, Align your thoughts and feelings with these new narratives, Forgive everyone involved (including yourself), and Eliminate the remaining elements that no longer serve your healing. This structured process creates a roadmap through terrain that often feels impossible to navigate.
Perhaps most profound is the distinction between pain and suffering. Pain—inevitable and temporary—naturally dissipates when we release our grip on what was. Suffering, however, results from our choice to cling to the familiar, transforming short-term pain into prolonged anguish. By honoring what we've lost and allowing it to transform rather than desperately holding on, we participate in life's natural cycles of death and rebirth.
Like the phoenix rising from ashes or a snake shedding its skin, grief offers the opportunity for profound transformation. When your world feels like it's burning down around you, remember: you're not dying—you're being reborn. The question becomes not how to avoid the fire, but how to harness its transformative power to emerge renewed, with wings ready to soar.

Ever freeze up before difficult conversations? That stops today.
Walking into challenging discussions with genuine confidence isn't about memorizing scripts or manipulating outcomes—it's about having a reliable framework that honors both parties while moving toward resolution. The SOS framework (Seen-Options-Safe) transforms how you approach every tough conversation in your life, whether with partners, colleagues, clients, children, or strangers.
The framework begins with making people feel truly seen. Through simple validation statements like "I know this is frustrating" or "I can see how overwhelming this is," you acknowledge their experience without judgment. This validation acts as a bridge, creating the connection necessary for productive dialogue.
From there, offering clear options prevents the conversation from stalling. When people feel backed into corners, they resist. By presenting two or more choices you're comfortable with, you empower them while still moving toward resolution. This balanced approach honors their agency while maintaining progress.
The final component—creating safety—is what distinguishes transformative conversations from merely transactional ones. By explicitly stating your continued support and clarifying that the relationship itself isn't threatened (when appropriate), you build the trust necessary for honest exchange.
What makes this approach revolutionary is its universal application. The podcast walks through real examples—from breaking up with a partner to negotiating with clients who can't afford your services—demonstrating how the same principles apply across contexts. By pre-framing conversations, setting clear intentions, and following the SOS structure, you'll find yourself handling life's most challenging moments with a steadiness you never thought possible.
Ready to transform your approach to difficult conversations? Start applying the SOS framework today and watch as your relationships deepen through honest, productive communication.

Discovering your own version of "Fly Girl Energy" might be exactly what your soul needs. After being invited to try Fly Dance Fitness classes by my sister-in-law, I found myself reconnecting with a part of me that had been dormant for years – my love for hip-hop dance that I'd often felt self-conscious about embracing fully as a teenager.
These dance classes have become much more than exercise. They've created a space where I can let my "inner gangster" out to play, where mistakes aren't actually mistakes because choreography is just someone's made-up idea of what looks right. There's a magical moment in each class when my conscious mind steps aside and pure joy takes over. My body knows the movements so well that I can simply experience the euphoria of being completely present, moving in synchronicity with others, and celebrating life through motion.
Understanding the power of mindset, I intentionally created an entirely new dance wardrobe – loose cargo pants instead of strict leggings, hair down instead of in a tight ponytail, and custom rhinestoned hot pink high-tops that I'm having everyone in class sign. These choices aren't just aesthetic; they're psychological anchors that help me embody a different version of myself when I walk into that dance studio. The most inspiring part? The 69 and 70-year-old women who've been dancing together for 18 years, not to look cute or show off perfect moves, but because they know dance keeps their brains sharp and helps them keep up with their great-grandchildren.
Whether dance speaks to you or not, find something that celebrates movement in a way that brings you joy – CrossFit, running, yoga, or whatever makes you feel alive. When you find what moves you and the right community to move with, you'll discover your own version of fly girl energy. I promise things will get better when you do.

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to radiate a sense of safety and calm, while others constantly chase it? Today's episode dives deep into a personal breakthrough that forever changed my understanding of what it means to be safe in the world.
Through a spontaneous journal entry that emerged from a simple check-in text with a friend, I share my journey through the multiple dimensions of safety. What began as an external pursuit—seeking safety through self-defense skills, gated communities, and protective relationships—evolved into something far more profound.
The transformation came when I stopped seeing safety as something to acquire and recognized it as something I already am. "I am safe" shifted from a mere affirmation to an embodied frequency, a vibration that permeates every cell of my being. This realization didn't happen overnight but emerged through intentional silence, meditation, and a willingness to explore the layers of my own consciousness.
When we vibrate at the frequency of safety, everything in our universe shifts. We attract different experiences, relationships, and opportunities that match this new energy. People inexplicably feel comfortable in our presence, often sharing things they've never told anyone else. This isn't coincidence—it's resonance. We become not just recipients of safety but embodiments of it, creating safe spaces wherever we go.
The most beautiful part? This state of being is available to everyone. Safety isn't something you can learn, buy, wear, hire, build, or create—it's something you are. By choosing to embody safety at the deepest level, you transform not only your own experience of life but how others experience you. Ready to make this shift? All you have to do is choose it.

Have you ever felt that uncomfortable sensation when your body is screaming for change? That's exactly where I found myself recently – caught in a masculine, pushing, externally-driven strategy that left me depleted and disconnected from my own wisdom.
When I noticed myself speaking words that left a bad taste in my mouth, I recognized it was time for a radical shift. Rather than trying to ease back gradually, I slammed on the brakes completely. This wasn't about making minor adjustments – it was about honoring a profound internal calling for transformation.
The most powerful insight came when I realized that as we evolve in frequency, we can't expect everyone around us to change with us. The solution isn't forcing others to match our new vibration; it's having the courage to leave rooms we've outgrown to find spaces aligned with our current selves. This meant clearing my calendar of anything that wasn't essential – even long-term friendships that had evolved into regular calls – to create space before opportunities arrived.
What followed was the challenging practice of sitting in stillness without productivity. No multitasking during bubble baths, no researching prospects, no building landing pages – just being present and allowing recalibration. As the waters of my life became still, something magical happened: opportunities I'd been chasing for years began approaching me. I realized my constant movement had been creating ripples that scared away the very things I desired.
This counterintuitive approach – detaching completely from outcomes and embracing stillness – attracted once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that appeared effortlessly. If you've been pushing relentlessly toward goals without success, I challenge you to experiment with letting go. Release your grip on what you think you need, sit in peaceful awareness, and watch as the universe responds with unexpected abundance. Sometimes the most powerful action is no action at all.

Have you ever felt that gnawing disappointment when a seemingly perfect client prospect suddenly ghosts you after weeks of promising conversations? That painful experience reveals a crucial truth about business relationships: the energy we bring to client acquisition directly impacts the quality of clients we attract.
This conversation dives deep into the fundamental difference between operating from scarcity versus abundance in your business. When you find yourself pursuing clients primarily because "they can afford it" rather than because "they're a good fit," you've already positioned yourself in a dangerous scarcity mindset. This subtle but powerful distinction affects everything from your sales approach to the fulfillment you experience working with clients.
The most transformative insight comes in understanding the difference between masculine "chase" energy and feminine "attraction" energy in business development. Clients who come to you through your authentic presence tend to fuel your passion throughout your work together. Meanwhile, those you've had to persistently pursue often continue requiring that same exhausting energy, leaving you drained and resentful. By turning inward and raising your own frequency instead of desperately hunting for the next client, you create a magnetic field that naturally draws perfect-fit prospects to you.
Getting crystal clear about exactly whom you serve allows you to recognize misalignments immediately and confidently refer those prospects elsewhere. This clarity might feel risky when bills are due, but it's actually your pathway to sustainable success and genuine fulfillment. The temporary pain of rejecting an imperfect opportunity pales compared to the long-term drain of working with misaligned clients. Are you ready to shift from chasing to attracting? Your ideal clients are waiting for the authentic you to show up.

Have you ever wondered what happens when the algorithm suddenly favors you and your content goes viral? That moment when hundreds of thousands—or millions—of eyes are suddenly on you can be both exhilarating and utterly paralyzing.
Most creators dream of virality without understanding the physiological impact of massive attention. When my casual video unexpectedly climbed to 5 million views, I didn't celebrate or capitalize on the momentum—I froze. My body tensed, my mind went blank, and I energetically withdrew from my own success. This wasn't imposter syndrome; it was my nervous system shutting down under pressure.
Your body has a built-in capacity for handling attention and visibility. When that capacity is exceeded, your system perceives success as a threat and will actively sabotage your momentum, regardless of your talent or readiness. The widely touted "consistency myth" misses a crucial truth: consistency isn't just about discipline—it's about emotional regulation that allows you to hold attention over extended periods. Attention carries weight that feels light until it fully lands, bringing with it projections, expectations, and demands from countless strangers.
Rather than asking "Why can't I just keep posting?" when momentum stalls, ask yourself: "Have I trained my body to feel safe with this much attention?" The good news is that you can grow into greater capacity rather than shrinking your message. Practical techniques like the "Calm the Crash" grounding exercise and "Expand the Container" visibility stretches can help your nervous system gradually adapt to increased exposure through micro-doses of safety.
If you've ever disappeared after gaining traction online, frozen after being seen, or felt that success somehow weighs more heavily than failure, remember: you're not broken—you're dysregulated. And that can change. You don't have to build your dreams while bracing for impact. You get to build from safety.

Beneath the sprawling branches of an ancient oak tree, something sacred is happening. Women are gathering, exhaling, and remembering what it feels like to be fully present in their bodies again.
The Her One Day Immersion isn't another wellness workshop cluttering your calendar—it's a soul calibration. Just 10-15 women meet on Sunday mornings in Central Florida, creating an intimate container where everyone can be seen and held. You'll arrive to find cold rags for your neck, hand fans for comfort, and a welcoming drink—small gestures acknowledging that your nervous system deserves a gentle landing.
Over three transformative hours, we move through a carefully curated journey: grounding meditation to settle your system, journal prompts that help you rediscover your voice, frequency healing that releases what words cannot express, and embodied movement that invites playfulness back into your body. "You don't need another breathwork breakthrough," as we say. "You need to laugh with your whole body once again."
What makes this gathering different is what it's not—there's no pressure to share, no expectation to perform, and no agenda to fix you. This isn't about productivity or networking. It's about reconnecting to the parts of yourself that have been neglected amid the hustle: your softness, your depth, your authentic voice.
If you've been feeling overstimulated, overbooked, and underheld, if you crave depth not drama, connection not codependence—let this be your invitation. Join us under the oak tree, just 30 minutes north of Orlando, as we remember together that we were never meant to do this alone. Check the details below to secure your spot at our next gathering—these sacred circles fill quickly as women remember how good it feels to truly exhale.

You've built it—the business, the brand, the powerful presence. You're the woman others admire, claiming "she's so confident" and "she always knows what to say." But lately, in those quiet moments, something deeper stirs. A whisper not in your mind, but your body. It's not asking for another strategy or funnel. It's pleading: "Please just let me breathe."
This powerful exploration speaks directly to successful women experiencing a profound disconnect between external achievement and internal depletion. While you still know how to show up, write the caption, lead the call, and pitch the offer, something has shifted. You've built an empire but somehow lost access to your inner world in the process. The stillness you crave also terrifies you, because what happens if you stop? Who are you without the performance?
What if the unraveling isn't failure but the exact portal to your next level? Your nervous system is awakening, refusing to tolerate the performance of success any longer. Your soul refuses to be filtered, to hide grief to remain palatable, to armor up for another launch. True power awaits—not through more effort but through presence, not through production but through regulation. You don't need to be more organized; you need to be more held.
For those feeling the ache beneath the armor, knowing the old version is dying while the new one hasn't fully arrived, I've created the Phoenix Seat—a sacred six-month container for your sovereign rebirth. This isn't for beginners. It's for the woman who doesn't need a coach to tell her what to do but a witness for her becoming.
Remember: you're allowed to want more softness. You're still powerful, even when you rest. This world doesn't need more hyper-visible women—it needs more regulated ones. And that starts with you.

The Visibility Hangover strikes when you finally do that brave thing – posting vulnerability, launching your offer, speaking your truth – and suddenly want to crawl into a hole. That anxious, raw feeling isn't weakness or failure. It's your nervous system's natural response when it doesn't yet feel safe being seen.
Visibility taps into our most ancient fears – judgment, misunderstanding, and tribal exile. When we share authentically online, our bodies can interpret attention as threat, even when everything's going well. For women who experienced childhood silencing, this reaction intensifies. The pattern becomes predictable: courageous sharing followed by vulnerability crash, inner criticism, and the overwhelming urge to retreat, delete, and shut down.
But there's a different way forward. Rather than abandoning your visibility journey, you can develop a personal recovery protocol. Ground yourself physically. Name your feelings aloud. Consciously reaffirm safety to your body. Try gentle physical resets like neck rolls or belly breathing. Connect with supportive people who remind you that you're not "too much." The key insight? You don't need to feel completely ready before being seen. You simply need tools to regulate afterward, turning visibility from threatening to sustainable.
The more you practice post-expression regulation, the more consistent and magnetic your presence becomes. Being seen remains vulnerable, but with proper support, you won't need to disappear after brave moments. Your unique voice deserves to be heard, and your nervous system deserves compassionate care along the way.
Ready to transform your relationship with visibility? Join the Her Collective for community, coaching, and content safety that supports your authentic expression. Your voice matters – and with the right tools, sharing it doesn't have to hurt.

Ever feel like the six-month mark just slapped you in the face with the reality of your unachieved goals? That gap between January's vision board and today's reality can trigger a shame spiral that disconnects you from your worth and purpose.
Let's be honest – most of us aren't off track. We're simply in between versions of ourselves, navigating that tender space where old strategies have stopped working but new ones haven't fully kicked in. That uncomfortable middle ground isn't failure; it's evolution. When we hit this gap, our instinct is to panic, overcorrect, and push harder. "I just need more discipline," we tell ourselves. But urgency is often just a dressed-up trauma response – fight or flight masquerading as motivation.
What if, instead of hustling through the gap, you learned to regulate within it? This episode walks you through a transformative mid-year reset process: naming the gap without judgment, honoring your feelings, regulating your nervous system through breathwork, reconnecting with what truly inspires you now, and only then realigning your strategy from presence rather than panic. With Mercury retrograde approaching and Leo season on the horizon, this cosmic pause offers the perfect opportunity to reflect before you roar back into action.
Whether you're a Projector needing to recalibrate your invitations, a Generator tuning into what genuinely lights you up now, or a Manifester sensing shifting urges, remember: you are not behind, broken, or late. You are simply becoming. Download the Her app today to access nervous system reset rituals that will bring you back to yourself – because your next chapter doesn't need to be forced, it just needs to be felt.

Are you exhausted but can't seem to rest without feeling guilty? Do you find yourself thinking "I should be doing more" even when your body is desperately signaling for a break? The truth is stark but liberating: you're not lazy—you're overwhelmed.
This episode dives deep into the shame loop that keeps high-achievers trapped in cycles of burnout. When we internalize the message that our worth is tied to our productivity, rest becomes something we feel we must earn rather than a biological necessity. What many don't realize is that this isn't just a mindset issue—it's fundamentally a nervous system problem. After years in sympathetic overdrive, our bodies have forgotten how to feel safe in stillness. That's why even emotionally intelligent, self-aware people still struggle to rest without guilt.
We explore different types of rest your nervous system might be craving—physical, emotional, creative, or relational—and how they connect to your unique human design. You'll learn practical micro-rest rituals that can begin rewiring your relationship with rest in just minutes a day. These aren't indulgences; they're regulation tools that serve as portals to your next level of expansion and creativity. The more you learn to regulate in these pauses, the more powerful your impact becomes without forcing or pushing.
Ready to break the shame-rest cycle? Try giving yourself five minutes of guilt-free, intentional rest in the next 24 hours. Download the Her app to join our community of powerful, sensitive leaders who are learning to lead from a regulated, rooted place rather than hustling for worthiness. Your exhaustion isn't weakness—it's wisdom asking to be honored.

The delicate dance between authentic expression and structured creation has always fascinated me. Today, as rain taps against my window and thunder rolls in the distance, I'm reflecting on how AI has transformed my creative process while preserving my essence. This technology hasn't replaced my voice – it's amplified it, providing guardrails that keep me focused without restricting my natural flow.
After fifteen years of creating content, experiencing both viral success and devastating setbacks, I've learned that external validation never beats internal alignment. My revelation? I'm not designed to work with thousands of clients directly. Instead, my impact comes through deeply supporting fewer people who then create ripple effects in their communities. Quality over quantity isn't just a preference – it's my soul's calling. This approach means waking at 4:30 AM excited rather than dragging myself through strategies that don't resonate with who I truly am.
Your body knows your true path before your logical mind catches up. When preparing for corporate clients made me literally fall asleep at my desk while creative entrepreneur projects energized me before dawn, I finally listened. What happens when a creative takes time off instead of pushing through burnout? After taking a two-month hiatus from creating content, I've returned with profound insights about the necessity of pausing, processing, and recalibrating before continuing to serve others.
During my break, I experienced what some call being "triggered" but what a wise friend reframed as being "activated" - receiving the blessing of learning new lessons about my energy, boundaries, and communication patterns. Rather than speaking from an unhealed wound, I chose to step back, process with trusted friends, and return only when I could speak from the scar.
This episode explores the transformative power of cultivating internal safety as a content creator. When we create from fear or scarcity, our audience calibrates to that energy - showing up with guards raised, lacking trust. But when we create from a place of genuine safety and abundance, we invite our audience to consume our content from that same open, receptive space.
For high-performing, heart-led creative women who struggle with loneliness, feeling unsafe online, analysis paralysis, and tying their worth to analytics - this message is especially for you. The audience you seek isn't waiting for perfect thumbnails or algorithm hacks; they're waiting for YOU to step fully into your authentic self.
Ready to cultivate safety from the inside out? Join me at the Empowered Podcasting Conference in Charlotte (September 26-28) for my workshop "The Regulated Creator," or access my free 30-question workbook at janaswancom/safety30. Because you deserve to experience what it feels like to openly express yourself online with no pressure, no expectations - just love and authenticity.

Vulnerability and leadership often feel at odds with each other. As someone who's built her reputation as "the SOS girl" – the one everyone calls during their darkest moments – I've struggled with a profound question: how do I ask for help when I'm drowning?
This raw, unfiltered exploration takes you through the emotional tug-of-war between maintaining professional credibility and embracing authentic vulnerability. I share a personal story about shifting instantly from seeking support to providing it during a mastermind call, highlighting the strange energy exchange that happens when you're accustomed to being the helper. The experience forced me to confront whether I've been selfish with clients by waiting for them to make decisions when sometimes they simply need direction.
My sensitivity – the quality that sometimes overwhelms me – is precisely what makes me effective at supporting others. Good coaches sit in the mud with clients, and my capacity to feel deeply gives me the empathy to notice subtle shifts in others. This realization has transformed how I view emotional intelligence, not as weakness but as profound strength. Similarly, I've come to appreciate that our greatest lessons come from our losses, not our wins. As my high school dance coach wisely observed – winners don't learn because they don't know why they succeeded, but losers gain clarity about what needs improvement.
Whether you're a coach, leader, parent, or friend, this episode will resonate if you've ever struggled with the balance between helping others and seeking help yourself. What kind of support do you need when you're struggling? How do you maintain authority while showing vulnerability? I'd love to hear your thoughts – reach out on social media @janaswan with your insights on navigating this delicate balance.

Your brain isn't broken—it's protecting you. That emotional numbness you feel? It's actually your mind's sophisticated defense mechanism at work. When we experience trauma, our brains literally split into two separate functioning systems—the logical left hemisphere and the emotional right hemisphere—creating a disconnect that manifests as difficulty feeling emotions deeply.
This neurological adaptation serves a crucial survival purpose. For those who had to show up, break generational patterns, or forge their own path without adequate support, the brain learned to suppress emotional responses to keep you functional. You could make decisions, advance in your career, and navigate life's challenges without being "crippled" by overwhelming feelings. But this protection comes at a significant cost: the inability to feel deeply connected to others or experience the full spectrum of human emotions—both painful and pleasurable.
The journey back to emotional wholeness requires understanding that integration is possible. It's about reconnecting these separate parts of your brain and learning to access both your logical and emotional capacities simultaneously. As one wise perspective puts it, the goal is developing "a soft front and a strong spine"—maintaining the ability to connect heart-to-heart while having the inner strength to carry life's weight. This balance allows you to be driven by emotions while being backed by logic, rather than being blinded by emotions or caged by logic.
The process of reconnecting with your emotions follows six essential steps: uncovering limiting beliefs, building resource anchors for safety, releasing stored emotions, working through forgiveness, reevaluating your values and beliefs, and developing new practices that support emotional awareness. It's not about flipping a switch but rather a gradual evolution—like water coming to a boil.
When you detach from pain, you inadvertently sacrifice life's pleasures too. The true power lies not in shutting down emotions altogether but in mastering them—learning to feel deeply without being controlled by those feelings. This mastery becomes your life's cheat code, allowing you to leverage emotions rather than being limited by them. Ready to take off that armor and experience life in full color?

The sudden loss of a friend to uncontrolled anger shook my world this week. Despite the raw heartache I'm experiencing, I've chosen to share my grief journey openly – not as a display of weakness, but as true emotional leadership.
Grief demands processing, and I've discovered fascinating insights about how we approach pain. My male friends urged me to speak directly from the wound, while female friends advocated for time and space to heal first. This gendered response reveals profound truths about energy and coping mechanisms that impact how we navigate loss. I've been deliberate in my approach to grief, creating intentional space to feel emotions fully while maintaining crucial routines. As I explain in the episode, processing grief early is like battling a "baby dragon" rather than waiting until that dragon grows into an overwhelming force that consumes us.
The pillars of my healing have been community connection, continued movement, and emotional honesty. I've maintained my gym routine despite painful associations, sought support from trusted friends, and used techniques like journaling and NLP to process emotions. When rage overwhelms us, our logical mind shuts down, leading to irreversible decisions. My experience reinforces why I'm passionate about teaching emotional regulation – because when we lose control, the consequences can be devastating. I continue to use my "5Ms" approach – movement, meditation, mindset work, affirmations, and celebrations – to navigate this storm while preparing to speak on stage and fulfill my responsibilities.
Have you built the community and developed the emotional regulation skills you need before the storm hits? The time to prepare isn't after lightning strikes. Join me in learning how to process difficult emotions effectively rather than letting them build into uncontrollable forces. Your emotional health might depend on it.

Have you ever poured your heart into a project only to face rejection after rejection? That gut-wrenching feeling of uncertainty can make even the most confident entrepreneur question everything. But what if those "no's" are actually guiding you toward your perfect "yes"?
The transformative perspective I share in this episode completely reframes how you'll view rejection in your business. Your gifts aren't meant for everyone—and that's not just okay, it's essential to your success. I reveal the counterintuitive strategy of "getting to the no faster" that my business partner Tom taught me after 40 years in sales. This approach has revolutionized how I qualify prospects, saving countless hours and emotional energy that used to be wasted on people who weren't ready for what I offer.
We dive deep into practical questioning techniques that help you quickly assess prospect readiness, maintaining neutrality about rejection while staying excited about client transformations. When someone says "no," they're not rejecting you—they're simply communicating they're not ready for the transformation you offer. Their "no" actually means "I don't trust myself enough yet to do the work." The rejection-handling skill might be the most valuable asset you can develop, not just for business but for life. I share my four-step process for turning each rejection into a learning opportunity: assess, correct, reapply, and learn.
Ready for a challenge that combines this mindset work with daily practices? I introduce the Thick and Thin Challenge using the five M's—movement, meditation, mindfulness, manifestation, and celebration—that could win you $1,000 every 90 days while transforming your relationship with rejection. Are you ready to embrace the "no" so you can find your perfect "yes" faster?

Have you ever defended your passions to someone who just didn't get it? That's exactly what happened when a longtime friend challenged the value of my women's emotional regulation retreats. Instead of crumbling under the weight of objections – something I might have done years ago – I stood firmly in my knowledge and experience.
This conversation revealed common misconceptions about emotional health work. From the perception that youth equals inexperience (despite my intensive study since age 19), to equating social media followings with expertise (when many high-performing clients prefer discretion), these objections reflect deeper misunderstandings about true transformation.
The differences between traditional therapy and my emotional regulation approach are stark. While therapy often focuses on awareness without providing tools for change, my breakthrough sessions combine awareness with active transformation. Think of therapy as wrapping tape around a leaky pipe versus my approach: replacing the pipe entirely. Therapy maintains professional distance; I walk alongside clients, sharing personal stories that bridge understanding. Therapy breadcrumbs you through endless sessions; I deliver the whole meal upfront with intensive breakthrough experiences followed by integration support.
Perhaps most surprising to my friend was learning that successful people – those with thriving businesses, healthy relationships, and strong bodies – are perfect candidates for emotional resets. These high-achievers recognize that to reach their next level, they need to release the subtle emotional blocks holding them back. Nobody escapes the emotional overload of modern life – most of us walk around with cups filled to the brim, occasionally spilling over before slowly filling again. An emotional reset empties your cup completely, creating space for intentional responses rather than reactive outbursts.
Women-only retreats create unique sanctuaries where deep healing can occur. With six out of ten women having experienced sexual abuse by men, these safe environments allow for vulnerability impossible to achieve in mixed settings. The feminine energy that flows when women gather without outside masculine presence creates transformative possibilities that simply can't be replicated otherwise.
Ready to experience an emotional reset that will change everything? From virtual courses to immersive retreats, there's an entry point perfect for you. Join the growing community of women who've discovered what true emotional freedom feels like.

Have you ever felt deeply frustrated when a friend fails to show up for a plan? Let’s dig into the emotional depths of our love languages and how they define our interpersonal relationships. This episode looks closer at Gary Chapman’s concept of love languages – quality time, physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, and receiving gifts. I share personal experiences that shed light on how our emotional responses can often be directly tied to our love languages.
The narrative explores how unmet expectations linked to our love languages can manifest in feelings of irritation and deep hurt, especially when others don’t reciprocate the effort we contribute to relationships. By examining the opposites of these love languages, we uncover the potential triggers and emotional pain points that can emerge in our human connections. We delve into the importance of communication, encouraging listeners to express their love languages effectively to foster deeper connections.
Join the dialogue on understanding these connections and the importance of acknowledging different love languages in our relationships. Understanding our and others’ love preferences opens doors to richer, more nourishing connections. Don’t miss this opportunity for reflection and growth, and engage with us by sharing your love language story! Subscribe, share, and leave a review to continue the conversation!

Are you navigating the complex landscape of entrepreneurship as a woman? The journey to financial success can present unique challenges, especially when comparing six-figure earners to their seven-figure counterparts. In this enlightening podcast episode, we dive deep into the distinctions between these two groups, exploring their mindsets, fears, and the crucial differences in their business relationships.
We discuss how women at the six-figure level often feel a sense of just making ends meet, balancing their aspirations and financial realities, while seven-figure entrepreneurs confront the pressures of higher taxes and the responsibility that comes with substantial income. We also highlight how their perspectives shift, creating challenges in networking—where six-figure women often find friendships, seven-figure women frequently navigate client relationships.
Insights shared reflect on fears faced by entrepreneurs at both levels, from the fear of success among six-figure women, concerned about sustainability, to the fear of failure felt by seven-figure women, grappling with maintaining their status. The episode tackles strategies too, emphasizing growth tactics for six-figure earners versus the operational frameworks of those making seven figures.
Join us as we unpack these experiences and perspectives, fostering a conversation that empowers women at every business stage. Whether you’re in the planning stages, reaching for six figures, or enjoying the complexities of seven figures, this episode promises valuable insights to elevate your entrepreneurial journey. Have you ever considered the profound impact of a haircut on your personal journey? Join us as we explore the emotional and transformative experience of growing and donating my hair. This episode isn't just about what happens when scissors meet strands; it's a story of evolution, a leap from past to future, and a release of energy. Picture this: nearly 30 inches of natural hair, nurtured from a state of being heavily processed and platinum blonde, transformed into something that speaks to change and new beginnings. At a recent retreat, I made the decision to cut 14 inches off my hair, marking a significant milestone not just for me personally but also for the new presence I aim to bring on stage in the coming year.
But there's more than just the story of a haircut. This episode is packed with insights into hair care that could revolutionize your own routine. Say goodbye to damaging extensions and excessive product use and embrace a simpler, more natural approach. Inspired by a fellow competitor, I share tips that taught me the power of doing less—washing less frequently, minimizing heat, and allowing natural oils to work their magic. It's not just about the hair; it's about shedding the past, simplifying life, and making room for growth. Tune in to discover how these small shifts can lead to significant transformations in all areas of life.
