Minor spoilers as we talk about a movie that tries to tackle (ha) a lot of things -- football's place in the American lexicon, the violence of the sport, toxic masculinity, exploitation, religious iconography, CTE, the price of fame and more -- and how much (if at all) it succeeds in doing that.
