In this episode we speak with Steven Ash about love, sacred tobacco plant medicine, healing and sacred drumming of course.  Steven shares with us about his birth, which he actually remembers, as well as the loss of a baby girl and the gifts that were revealed through this experience.  We laugh together and I certainly am moved by Stevens words and I hope you are too.

Steven Ash was born in 1951 in Cornwall, England and grew up on Wikwemikong on Lake Huron - (an Indian), known today as First Nations, reservation in Ontario, Canada where his father was the doctor.
“I returned to Britain resumed education as a teacher and then acupuncturist. I AM
gifted as a healer and seer, I inherited these talents from my father Dr. AEM Ash, who was the first doctor to practice acupuncture in the UK in general practice. My deep connection with Mother Earth and her plant and mineral kingdom has enabled me to gain extensive insight into the healing abilities of plants and crystals. With Renata my life partner we developed the Rainbow Essences®” in 1991.
Steven and Renata were adopted as spiritual grandchildren by Wallace Black Elk, and his spirit name Tatanka Wanagi Wichasta, Buffalo Spirit Man was given to him by Ed McGaa Eagle Man.

Bridget Finklaire is an English-born Author and Spiritual teacher.  She was a professional psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, trauma specialist and energy healer, and she worked in London’s Harley Street before moving to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2012.  Her novel, Red Dress, was published by John Hunt Publishing in 2021. Episode 014 ~ with Special Guest Jane De Croos

In this episode we speak with Jane De Croos about "What is Self Mastery?"  And "Do we really have it?"  Ha ha ha...  We also talk about Jane's charity supporting kids go on days out to expand their awareness, being responsible for what you say and how you use your words and her self mastery journey as a parent.  Jane also shares her experience of healing from cancer and the most difficult part of this - giving up coffee! 

Jane always wanted to write, to tell elaborate and far fetched stories as a child.  She wanted her life to be wild and magical and crazy and one could definitely say she achieved that!  Why did it take her so long?  Well the drugs, alcohol and procrastination got in the way.. and underneath all that was a crippling lack of confidence she had in herself to really put her neck on the line.

Fast-forward over 30 years and suddenly (very suddenly) she turned 40 and life changed; it got easier and she stopped worrying about what everyone else would think about her wayward beliefs and horribly bad attitude and got down to write. 

Jane wrote her novel.  It took 4 years to write, from 2015-2019.  During which her son was born in 2016, she had to flee a relationship of domestic abuse and was experiencing a furious chemo regime to squash cancer.  She eventually self-published her book on Amazon, in the Summer of 2019, the day she had her last chemo session.

Episode 012 ~ with Special Guest Gerda Skrickiene

In this episode we speak with Gerda about sauna's of course!  Gerda Skrickiene is the founder and CEO of Saunature Spa who are on a mission to bring an authentic Baltic sauna experience to Surrey, UK.  Her husband and her partner in this project did his own marathon sauna session at the Saunaverse 2023, where he went in and out of about 7 saunas in a couple of hours.  Gym saunas make Gerda mad because she says they are too hot.

Gerda has lived in the UK for over 20 years, born in Lithuania where Baltic sauna bathing is a part of everyday life, but her home now is here.  She is a mother of three who home schools her children.  She says, “Home education is hard and I am busy, but I love it.”  Gerda loves exercise and anything dance related and is in fact a dance teacher.  A fitness instructor for over 12 years, however she slowly moved away from the mainstream fitness world, Gerda now runs her own creation of fun and enjoyable dance classes.

"Saunature Spa is a movement to reconnect our communities with the profound healing power of nature and the wood-fired sauna.  A sanctuary of relaxation, detoxification and revitalization."

Gerda's current project, the Saunature spa is her vision and she is on a mission to bring authentic Baltic sauna bathing and treatments to local Surrey residents.  She loves anything sauna, arts, music and nature.

Episode 011 ~ with Special Guest Lis Karin

In this episode, we talk with Lis Karin about the power of the mind, the work of Bob Proctor, how she came across his work and the huge impact it had on her life.  We also talk about how she met the current love of her life and the gifts that each of her husbands gave her.

Lis Karin is the founder of LK Unlimited Power Consulting.  The material of Bob Proctor's teachings is the foundation upon which her company facilitates, coaches and mentors individuals and groups.

Having transformed her life through Bob Proctor's teachings, Lis lives with focus and intention.  A former nurse specialising in mental health with 12 years in a managerial position.  Three years ago on the 11th of November Lis worked her last day in her corporate job.

She is deeply grounded in the knowledge of the human mind, and how limitless we humans are and that we are the only ones that set the limits for ourselves.

Bob Proctor was one of the greatest teachers in human potential and the human mind that ever graced this earth.  His work together with Napoleon Hill and other great teachers in this area make up the of sources of wisdom that Lis Karin has studied and draws upon.

Lis's focus is always on the goal her clients want to reach.  With accountability to an elite minded mentor the way to the goal becomes both clearer, shorter and more easily reachable.

Episode 010 ~ with Special Guest Caroline Ainslie

In this episode, we talk with Caroline Ainslie about making maths fun!  About the power of mindset when it comes to learning math.  She shares about her vision and her passion for helping children to love math.  Also, about explorative learning where the kids 'do the math' before they write it down and how much more effective this is.

Caroline Ainslie is a published author. Her latest book will be out in March and is called Let’s Play Mathematically. A compilation of 36 games to help children build their maths skills.   Link below for pre-order!

Caroline was born in the UK but considers herself a global citizen. She speaks several languages and is currently learning Welsh.

Caroline is a Maths Fun Crusader and founder of Bubbly Maths. It started as a dream in 2004, a dream of a world free of children that hate or fear maths and it became her life’s purpose to make the dream a reality. 

Caroline spends half her time volunteering for an NGO which provides professional development for maths teachers in disadvantaged communities and her fundraising is all for their bursaries.

Caroline’s fundraising endeavours include running an annual Global Maths & Science Lesson, walking the London Marathon, Summiting Mount Kilimanjaro and making multiple attempts at a Guinness World Record. She is the current title holder of the world’s largest 3D Fractal made from modelling balloons.

She plans to climb Mount Kilimanjaro again to celebrate her 64th year. Her current projects include a book launch tour in the UK, a world tour of the Bubbly Maths Show and a Land’s End to John O’Groats and Beyond Bubbly Maths Adventure.

Episode 009 ~ with Special Guest Mats Larsson

In this episode, we talk with Mats Larsson about his passion for electromobility, the deeper meaning for society of the large amount of resources that will be needed to make this change and whether it is possible within the time frame given. For him the journey has definitely been one of self-mastery.

Mats has spent the past 18 years exploring the resources needed to change society to sustainability on a large scale.  For example, very large amounts of electricity will be needed to electrify transportation. To drive all UK cars on electricity, power amounting to more than 75 TWh, or one third of UK power generation, will be needed. In addition a large investment will be needed in power grids and charging infrastructure.

Mats has written 6 internationally published books on large-scale change to electromobility and a circular economy, starting with “Global EnergyTransformation” in 2009. In the first 15 years the topic of large-scale change received little interest and he had to mobilise his mental abilities to stay on track and it is still a struggle on a daily basis to attract attention to the relevance of the aspect of large-scale change.

Mats’ latest book is “How Building the Future Really Works.” In this book he eveals a number of misunderstandings of how our present society has developed through the development and implementation of technologies and systems on a large scale. Governments, business leaders, and people in general need to understand this to develop the systems we so badly need for the future.

Episode 007 ~ Juliette is the Special Guest Today!

In this episode Juliette talks about Mindfulness and one of the 9 principles, 'The Beginners Mind'.  This principle is a great way to approach most things in life.  There is also a little story for you, of course there is...

Included in the podcast are some mindfulness practices that we run though together.  You may find these useful tools on your Self~Mastery journey.

The first practice is called the Mighty Mindful Monkey.  This is an exercise which involves training the monkey mind.  One of the most simplest techniques you can use for this it to use your breath as a place to rest and focus.
The second practice is called the 3 P's.  This is a tool you can practice several times a day, or at least daily.  It can also be used when you find yourself in a particular challenging situation.

Join us with these practices and 'save' them to use later and practice again and again.

Hannah Jewel is a certified and accredited provider of training in Polarity Therapy, Relaxation Therapies, Reiki and Somatics.  She holds a PhD in ritual and somatic studies, where her specialisms focus on the Sufi path and the human embodiment of transformation and unfolding.

In this episode, we talk with Anthony's about his extreme experience of fame.  
He stepped out of the Big Brother house to fireworks, a £200,000 photoshoot and several agents wanting to sign him.
When this fame declined and eventually fizzled out his downward spiral inspired him to rethink his life and opened him up to his journey of self mastery.  He realised that within the vulnerability of sharing his mental health journey other men opened up to him.

She enjoys a fairly dynamic approach to the Pilates fundamentals, resulting in a challenging but fun, fluid routine to help promote wellbeing. 

Her company “Ikigai Pilates” derived from the Japanese word for “a sense of purpose” aims to help others find their purpose through Pilates flow and mindfulness.
