Rob Swan "Manufacturing Engineer Who Jumps Out Of Planes... A lot!!"
Rob Swan, born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, attended local educational institutions before pursuing higher education in mechanical engineering at the University of New Hampshire. During his time in college, Rob, along with friends, made plans to engage in skydiving. Initially, Rob felt apprehensive but was motivated by the fear of ridicule from his friends to proceed with the jump. A decade later, Rob has successfully completed over 800 skydiving jumps from a variety of aircraft, including planes, helicopters, and hot air balloons, at multiple locations throughout the country. Rob's home drop zone is Sky Dive New England, located in Lebanon, Maine. In his professional life, Rob serves as a Manufacturing Engineer at Pratt & Whitney's facility in North Berwick, where he is responsible for developing processes for machining jet engine parts. Thus, Rob's weekdays involve making planes fly, while his weekends are spent skydiving out of them.
