Robyn Stankevitz "Police K9 Handler"
Robyn Stankevitz was born in New Hampshire and raised in Sanford, Maine. In 2011, she followed in her father’s footsteps and began her career in law enforcement, becoming a second-generation police officer.
In August of 2024, Robyn was selected as a police K-9 handler and is partnered with a dual-purpose Belgian Malinois named Jax.
Robyn shares her journey from growing up in Sanford before the era of smartphones and social media, to navigating a male-dominated profession as a female officer, to overcoming depression and PTSD. Now over three years alcohol-free, she uses her platform to lead by example and inspire others.
Her social media presence centers around discipline, fitness, mental resilience, and personal growth — grounded in consistency, transparency, authenticity, and vulnerability.
You can follow Robyn and K-9 Jax on Instagram and TikTok at @robyn_andjax, as well as on Facebook.
