Charlotte Morganti and Where Small Town Sleuths Hang Out
Charlotte Morganti joins the show to discuss the publication of her first novel, The End Game, which is the first in the D.S. Gabrieli Mysteries series.
Charlotte is a retired lawyer and active member of the Canada West chapter of Sisters in Crime and Crime Writers of Canada. She is widely known for her witty, funny, and occasionally dark short stories, including the Persimmon Worthing Mysteries. Her short stories have appeared in many anthologies and magazines, including Crime Wave, Black Cat Mystery Magazine, and Die Laughing.
We discuss her transition into novel writing, the “stranger comes to town” frame for stories, and why she likes to write mysteries set in small towns. She’ll also share her tips for successful self-publishing careers.
