Katherine Walker assures us that All Will Be Well
Katherine Walker has a background in music, fine arts, design, and naval warfare. She's a Chaplain in the Canadian Armed Forces. She once specialized in advanced areas of naval operations and now focuses on theology.
Her first novel, All is Well was nominated by Crime Writers of Canada in 2022 for Best Crime First Novel and since then, she has joined the board and is a Director at Large.
There's a theme of redemption in Katherine's work and she uses humour to get up close to the tough stuff of life. They say humour and truth are related.
We discuss the power that comes when you believe in your story, the crime genre's ability to comment on the human condition and the value of community building for writers.
