If My People Pray Week 3 "How Not To Pray" Matthew 6:5-8
Apr 08, 2024
Dr.Jay Worthington

As Christians, we know that we should pray. But too often, we are just not sure how we should pray. It seems like an easy enough concept until we are alone in our bedroom, trying to speak the words. It feels like we are doing it all wrong. This Sunday, we are going to talk about some of the key mistakes believers make in their prayer lives in a sermon about How NOT to Pray. This will be an intensely practical sermon that will help strengthen the prayer lives of every believer.

The 2024 vision for North Conway will be “If my people pray…” Throughout this year, we will focus, as a church, on sharpening and deepening our prayer life in our private lives, in our families, and in our church. This coming Sunday, Pastor Jay will kick off the year with an introductory sermon on prayer. What is prayer? Why do we pray? How do we pray? What do we hope to accomplish with prayer? These are all simple questions, but they have very profound answers. Answers that have the power to change our lives and the lives of those around us.
