Despite the city's reputation as "sin city," CJ emphasizes that Vegas is also a place where people can discover and embrace Christianity, with churches scattered throughout.
His college experience brought challenges and realizations. CJ faced setbacks in art and basketball, and he underwent an identity crisis. Despite job losses, he now recognizes them as blessings, leading him to discover his true self. CJ's transition to a sales job marked a turning point, where he shifted his focus from seeking parental affirmation to self-affirmation and spiritual connection. Affirmation statements and prayers became integral to his daily routine, transforming him into a leader among his colleagues.
CJ shares a pivotal moment when he turned to Luke 12:15 during a difficult period, leading him to focus on deepening his relationship with Jesus.
