My Truth – Part 1
Hi, beautiful souls. Kira Marie here.
This episode is raw. It’s real. It may be confronting. It may be triggering. But it is necessary.
I’m sharing a deeply personal experience—an attempted abduction involving my children—and the emotions, fears, and healing journey that have unfolded from it. This isn't just about what happened; it's about the generational wounds it has triggered, the cycles we are here to break, and how we reclaim our power in the face of fear.
I also share insights from my own past and how these experiences resurface for healing in ways we don’t always expect. If you’ve ever felt unheard, disbelieved, or powerless, this episode may resonate deeply with you.
Please listen with care—this episode includes discussions of childhood trauma and may bring up emotions or memories from your past. If you choose to join me in this conversation, I invite you to breathe, hold space for yourself, and allow what needs to surface to do so with love and compassion.

Hi Beautiful Souls, Kira Marie here.
I just wanted to do something a little different with this episode. This episode is raw. It may be confronting, maybe even a little triggering—that’s life.
This week's episode gives you a little insight into an incident that happened with my kids—an attempted abduction. I’ll share the journey this has brought up, where the healing lies, and some tips on how to take back your power and heal. If this is something you feel called to listen to, stay tuned.
Trigger Warning
I want to acknowledge that this episode may be triggering. It may bring up memories from your childhood, past, or even past lives. You might feel emotions surfacing—tightness in your body, headaches, or sensations in your chest or throat. These could be emotions that have been suppressed, experiences that haven’t been met with empathy, or things that are ready to come up and be released.
The Incident
Last night, my 10-year-old triplets were walking home. It’s only about a five-minute walk, and there are usually a lot of kids in the area. Normally, they walk with friends, but their friends got picked up, so it was just the three of them.
As they walked, my son Brody was in front, followed by my daughter Indie, with my daughter Zoe slightly behind her. They were walking past a house when a car, driven by a young man—probably around 18 to 20 years old—slowed down and stopped. He had the window down and asked Indie, "Is this your family? Do you live here?" She had the instinct to say yes. He then said, "Do you want to come jump in my car?"
Indie immediately said no, and they all ran home, calling us straight away. My husband and I were on our way home from picking up our other sons when we got the call.
We spoke to them about what happened, drove back to the location to check for cameras, and then went to report the incident to the police. The kids were interviewed separately, both verbally and on video, by detectives.
The Emotional Impact
As you can imagine, this was incredibly difficult as a parent. The emotions of fear, helplessness, and not being able to protect your children every second of the day—it’s overwhelming.
But beyond that, this situation brought up deep personal triggers for both my husband and me. It stirred up memories of not having someone there to protect us in our own childhoods.
For me, it resurfaced a past trauma—one I hadn’t spoken about in a long time.
My Own Childhood Experience
When I was in Year 2 or Year 3, I was sexually abused by a boy down the road. He was around 16 or 17, and he also abused my brother and other children in the neighborhood.
When our parents found out, they took it to the police. We had to recount our stories over and over—to our parents, then the police, then detectives, then in a video statement. The case went to trial, but my parents refused to let us testify in court.
That experience left me with a deep wound—the feeling of not being believed. Being questioned repeatedly made me feel like I had to prove my truth, like I had to convince people I wasn’t lying. That wound stayed with me, suppressed for years, until it physically manifested in my body. I developed growths on my thyroid, which had to be removed because they were closing off my airway.
Breaking Generational Cycles
When things happen in our lives, they don’t happen to us—they happen for us. They bring up emotions and experiences that need to be healed, cleared, and rewritten.
This situation with my children allowed me to see how far I’ve come in my own healing and also how I can do things differently for them. Instead of sweeping it under the rug, we took immediate action. We supported them, we acknowledged their emotions, and we showed them they were heard, believed, and safe.
Last night, I gave my kids healings, and we did a powerful ritual to release the fear and call back their power.
A Simple Practice to Reclaim Your Power
When something happens that takes your power—whether it’s a traumatic event, an argument, or an energy exchange that leaves you feeling drained—you can use this practice to release what isn’t yours and call your energy back.
- Place your hand on your heart.
- Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Repeat aloud or in your mind:
- I give it all back to you. I give it all back to you. It is not mine to carry. It is not mine to own. I send it all back to you.
- Breathe and feel the energy returning to its rightful place.
- Then, call back your power:
- I call back my power. I call back my power to me from the north, south, east, and west. From all directions, I call back my power. I call it back from all time, space, dimension, and reality. From all lifetimes, from above and below—I call it all back to me now.
This simple yet powerful practice can help you reclaim the energy that was taken, restoring your sense of safety, sovereignty, and strength.
This situation was terrifying, but it also showed me the strength within my children and the healing that is possible. We can’t always control what happens, but we can choose how we respond. We can break cycles, heal wounds, and reclaim our power.
Thank you for being here. I hope this episode serves as a reminder of the power within you.
With love,
Kira Marie
