RHOBH-Manifestation or Manipulation?

🎙️ RHOBH S10 E9 Recap – Vacation and Manifestation

This episode splits the group between Hamptons glam and Beverly Hills drama — and no one escapes unscathed.

Rachel kicks things off missing her usual Hamptons summer routine, but when a friend offers up her five-bedroom house, she jumps at the chance and invites Dorit and Kyle. Packing couture caftans (vintage Pucci, vintage Chloé, Johanna Ortiz) and dripping in gold jewelry, Rachel treats the Hamptons like the South of France.

Meanwhile, Amanda is planning her “Manifestation Moment” dinner — a journaling, intention-setting soirée meant to inspire the women… but it quickly turns into confrontation central.

💔 Dorit & PK Drama

Before the trip, Dorit meets with Mo to discuss PK. Things get tense:

  • PK wants a structured schedule with the kids.
  • Dorit claims he hasn’t asked.
  • Mo says he’s seen the texts and spreadsheets.
  • Dorit insists she never received them and accuses PK of tailoring narratives.
  • She reveals PK started drinking again — Mo disputes that.
  • Emergency mediation is set, and PK takes the kids while Dorit heads to the Hamptons.

In the Hamptons, Dorit opens up about mediation: PK asked for every other Thursday–Sunday. Finances are still murky, with documents allegedly redacted. Dorit feels blindsided and unheard.

Kyle later questions Dorit about her dinner with Mauricio, and Dorit says it felt rehearsed — like he had a script.

Rachel makes a broader observation: there’s an epidemic of insecure men struggling with money and identity.

🐾 Sutton’s Fresh Start

Sutton gets a new puppy, Ozzy, and tells her daughter Porter about finalizing her annulment and reclaiming her maiden name, Brown. Her daughter supports whatever makes her happy.

🌊 Hamptons Arrival Energy

The Hamptons crew arrives before sunrise — heels at 4:45am included. Dorit senses awkward vibes immediately. They’re greeted by Rachel’s friend Suzanne and Rachel’s sister Pamela (who looks just like her).

At dinner, fashion icon Donna Karan stops by to greet Rachel, highlighting their long-standing friendship dating back to Rachel’s early NYC days crashing fashion shows.

Erika, watching from afar (literally and figuratively), finds out about the trip and wonders why she wasn’t invited.

🕯️ Manifestation Dinner Chaos

Over at Amanda’s house, the doormat says “Money Queen & Co.” and the vibe screams aspirational luxury.

Attendees: Natalie, Kathy Hilton, Sutton, Boz, and Erika.

But instead of manifesting abundance, they manifest accountability.

Sutton confronts Amanda:

  • Own your opinion about Dorit’s marriage.
  • Stop blaming Kyle.
  • Say it with your chest.

Amanda pushes back, saying she was grieving her son’s anniversary and didn’t mean to escalate anything.

Boz sides with Sutton: Amanda absolutely fueled Dorit vs. Kyle tension.

Sutton doubles down:

“You can’t be such a wimp.”

Amanda fires back:

“You can’t call me a wimp in my own house.”

Kathy delivers the calm but cutting advice:

“Read the room or you’ll get your tail in hot water.”

Wendy (00:01.102)
Hi, welcome to We Warm and Ever, I'm Wendy.

We Wine Whenever (00:04.021)
And I'm Lori.

Wendy (00:06.008)
Kelly is a little under the weather today, so she's not gonna be with us. We are talking about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, season 10, episode number nine, Vacation and Manifestation. Actually, I think this was a good name.

We Wine Whenever (00:20.267)
Yes, yes, definitely.

Wendy (00:23.342)
We start out at Rachel's house and she's talking about how she usually spends all summer in the Hamptons and she really misses it. And she's talking to her sister and she said that her friend has a house there that she said she could use and it has five bedrooms. So she's going to invite Dorit and Kyle, but she's a little worried because Kyle and Dorit really are not on the best terms right now. But she starts out by inviting Dorit and

We Wine Whenever (00:51.595)
Yeah, she said her parents' house was full. And then we've come to find out that she's really spent a lot of time there, like as a little kid. So that was interesting to find out. I kind of feel like her doing that little weekend with like the two longest standing kind of girls was very smart, like little power move. Because it was definitely going to cause, there was definitely going to be some goings on because

Wendy (00:54.766)
Right.

Wendy (01:11.117)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (01:19.565)
know, they're not getting along great. So it was, I don't know, it was just interesting. I just, you know, she's a new girl and I just thought it was like, go.

Wendy (01:28.406)
Yeah, she's a new girl, but she's, it's funny. She's not your traditional new girl because one, she has longstanding relationships, not so much with Dorit, but know, Kathy lives down the street from her. So obviously Kyle has, you know, had many interactions with her and she was on Bravo for many years and she is a seasoned professional as far as reality TV goes, right?

We Wine Whenever (01:33.526)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (01:39.33)
Yes.

We Wine Whenever (01:43.159)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (01:49.547)
Yes. Yeah. And you know what I love about her? And it's probably because like we're from New Jersey and I really don't like when I we do a podcast, I don't change my behavior at all. It's like if you were sitting in a room with me and like it, leave it, love it, whatever. I'm an F-bomb girl. Like that's just me. Like that's my gig. And I love that Rachel Zoe is an F-bomb girl.

Wendy (02:10.636)
Right. This is who you are.

Wendy (02:19.96)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (02:20.307)
Especially when you watch it on Peacock. I think it's hysterical. Yes, she is an F-bomb girl and it's so funny and just like kind of makes sense that definitely she's of the tribe New York, New Jersey. now I'm like, okay. I get it.

Wendy (02:23.477)
that's so funny. See, because I don't watch it on Peacock.

Wendy (02:38.36)
She definitely has the New York vibe to her. Like, I definitely see that. Even though she's got the, you know, like the blonde California look, she definitely has that New York vibe.

We Wine Whenever (02:42.081)
Yeah. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (02:48.397)
Yes. And I love how her assistant was like, I can't wait for the stories, you know, right after Rachel called and invited Kyle and then Dorit.

Wendy (03:02.19)
Yeah, and Dorit was like, I am so excited. Like, it doesn't matter. I'm saying yes. Like, I really need this. And listen, I think she does need it. I think she does. And Kyle says yes right away too. So it was, you know, there was no hesitation on either of their parts. Then we see Amanda at her house and she's talking to her assistant and she's throwing a dinner party for the girls. And that one is called a manifestation moment dinner party.

We Wine Whenever (03:07.881)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. most definitely. Most definitely.

We Wine Whenever (03:16.006)
Mm-mm. No.

Wendy (03:31.202)
So I didn't realize it that she says moment all the time until I Sutton pointed it out.

We Wine Whenever (03:36.093)
I thought that was hysterical what production did pulling all those clips. was like, okay, Amanda, I don't think that production's a big fan. Like, you know what I mean? Like there's, can tell, you can tell who, you know, who knows if they were just being funny or if she has pissed them off. But you always wonder on the show when somebody gets to like one of those little moments, you're like,

Wendy (03:47.8)
Yeah.

Wendy (04:03.596)
Yes.

We Wine Whenever (04:03.693)
was that like something they just couldn't bear to leave out or have you annoyed someone, you know?

Wendy (04:11.266)
Well, did you notice that she said moment all the time before Sutton pointed it out? No, I didn't either. Like, I didn't either, but it was... And then when they pulled them all up, I was like, everything is a moment for her.

We Wine Whenever (04:14.301)
No, I did not. No, I did not.

But it's very, it's very on par, you know, with her whole, she kind of got a Karen vibe.

Wendy (04:23.223)
Yes.

Wendy (04:28.18)
I mean, yeah, and also kindergarten teacher, to be quite honest with you.

We Wine Whenever (04:32.685)
Kindergarten teacher Karen vibe. Yes, yes.

Wendy (04:36.524)
Yeah, she's going to teach the ladies about journaling and manifestation.

We Wine Whenever (04:41.269)
I think she's somebody who just has totally filled herself with like, yes people and people who pay to hang out with her via her classes and experiences. And I think that her being in the housewives world is definitely, it seems like a shock to the system. just think she has just surrounded herself in this.

And you know, maybe it's a trauma response after her son, like who knows, but she just seems to have filled herself with this little, I feel like her world has been very small, even though she talks to all these people online and is very successful. That doesn't mean that you're, you know what I'm trying to say? She's just, yeah.

Wendy (05:30.7)
Yeah, yeah, I know what you're saying. know exactly what you're saying. So then the next thing we see is Dorie is meeting up with Mo to talk about PK and

We Wine Whenever (05:41.047)
That was very awkward. Very awkward.

Wendy (05:44.384)
Everything about it was awkward.

We Wine Whenever (05:46.091)
Now before that, I guess Amanda made a call to Bose and invited her to the dinner, the look on her face when she was on the video call, was just like, so good. was so good. It was so good.

Wendy (06:02.368)
you

Wendy (06:09.43)
Yeah, so Dorit's sitting there with Moe and she said she would like to hear what PK was saying. Now, the first thing I thought to myself is when you scheduled this meeting with Moe, he specifically said to you, I'm willing to listen to what you have to say and I'm not going to interrupt. Like, I'm not going to give you my opinions. And

We Wine Whenever (06:28.513)
Right, right, I'm not here for you to dig me for info. That's not how it's gonna roll.

Wendy (06:32.884)
Right, right. And that's the first thing she led with is tell me what he's saying, you know, and like, that's not what this was supposed to be about. And I felt like, you know, she said, he said, you know, he'd like to have a schedule with the kids. He wants to be involved with the kids. And Doreen's like, well, I want him involved in their lives too. And Mo said, well, according to him, he's asked to see the kids. And she's like, well,

We Wine Whenever (06:37.282)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (07:00.77)
He just never asked me to see the kids and Mo said, he's handed me his phone and I've seen the text messages between you. So either Mo is lying, which there's no reason for Mo to lie. mean, Dorique said, well, you I know who PK is and he'll show you what he wants you to see, but I mean, I don't know.

We Wine Whenever (07:19.477)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's it's hard to decipher what's really going on because I don't think either one of them is angels. You know what I'm saying? I don't I can I see PK being a dick? Absolutely. Can I see Doree being a bitch? Absolutely. You know what I mean? So I just think it's but I don't know. I definitely felt like

Wendy (07:28.34)
No. Yeah.

Wendy (07:38.978)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (07:47.989)
I don't know. just felt like, not that I expected anything different, but Mo definitely went into it with, well, this is what I know and that's what I'm believing. And not that I expected him to do anything any different. The whole thing was just weird. I mean, she could have handled it so, so much better. You know what I mean? It's a mess. It's a mess.

Wendy (07:59.544)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (08:12.746)
It is a mess. And after watching that conversation, and then after watching the conversation that Kyle had with Moe after he met with Dorit, it just solidifies the fact that Moe and Kyle need to stay out of this. Like, Kyle needs to just be there for Dorit and don't put in her two cents there. Just support Dorit and don't say anything you know. And that's it.

We Wine Whenever (08:30.276)
yeah.

We Wine Whenever (08:37.579)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (08:42.84)
Don't say anything negative about PK. Like you can still support Dorit and not say anything negative about PK.

We Wine Whenever (08:48.767)
Right. And I think like we've said in the past, I think it's totally true. think that, you know, it's also a bit of a lifeline for Kyle. I mean, she would have never had that conversation on the phone with him if that wasn't going on.

Wendy (09:03.212)
Yeah, but I think that there's enough for her to talk about with Mo without having to talk about Dorit. I mean, she has daughters with him. They're planning a wedding. It's not like she has no other reason to talk to him. You know, like, why make it something so uncomfortable? Like, it's not, I don't know. You know, I don't know. I just think that they need to just stay out of it. And Kyle just needs to be there for Dorit and not say anything about PK at all. Don't, don't say anything.

We Wine Whenever (09:10.153)
This is true, this is true. Yeah. No, yeah, you're right.

We Wine Whenever (09:18.359)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (09:33.985)
It's just when you really, when you really think about it, it's just such a, it's just such a weird career to have that discussing your ongoing divorce with the whole entire world is your job. It's just bizarre. It's just bizarre to me. Just very bizarre. It's odd.

Wendy (09:53.078)
Yeah. I did also think it was telling that Dorit said to Moe, well, PK is drinking again. And Moe says, well, I've been out with him. I go to dinner with him and he'll have one or two drinks. It's not like he was like he was before. Well, you know, and Dorit was nodding her head. Listen, if you're an alcoholic and you're drinking again, then you're not sober. You can't have one or two drinks and be recovering.

We Wine Whenever (10:08.727)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (10:17.078)
Right.

Wendy (10:22.24)
as an alcoholic. You're not recovering anymore. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic. So if you stop drinking, then you stop drinking. You can't do both.

We Wine Whenever (10:35.883)
Right. Yeah. So, but again, I think this is, I think this is the bottom line, though, that this is the thing is that there is a possibility.

I don't necessarily think that that's so, but I'm not them. I don't know. I don't know them. But there is a possibility that PK is just somebody who likes to drink a lot and is not necessarily an alcoholic. And maybe he was abusing alcohol for a while because they were fighting and not getting along and he was going on benders and blah, blah, blah.

Wendy (10:52.174)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (11:09.985)
You know what I'm saying? There's not... We're not living with them. You know what mean? There is that possibility too that...

Wendy (11:12.504)
Yeah.

Wendy (11:16.982)
No, know. Yes.

Wendy (11:21.708)
Yeah, because he said that he stopped drinking and I don't know if he's the one who actually called himself an alcoholic or if it was Dorit that labeled him the alcoholic, right? Right.

We Wine Whenever (11:27.809)
That's what I'm saying. Right, right? That's what I'm saying. You know.

Wendy (11:35.118)
Yeah, and it's their thing, so let them figure it out. And I like how Mo is like, listen, I have a client I have to meet, I'd love to continue this conversation. But then Dorit in her confessional says, well, that's two hours and I'll never get back. I cannot believe that he sat there for two hours going back and forth about that.

We Wine Whenever (11:53.633)
yeah, no, that should have been like hour 15 max. Max. There's nothing, you know, that could have been out, you know, ironed out totally by then. There's no need for all that.

Wendy (11:57.986)
Yeah.

Wendy (12:01.432)
Yeah.

Wendy (12:07.489)
Yeah.

then we see Sutton, she got a new puppy. my God, that puppy was so cute.

We Wine Whenever (12:14.675)
So cute. So cute.

Wendy (12:18.006)
She calls her daughter Porter and she's telling her about the annulment and how it came with her maiden name on it. And her daughter's like, okay, so you want to change your name back. And Sutton's like, well, do you have any feelings about it? And she's like, well, if that's what's good for you, then that's what's good. She obviously was very supportive.

We Wine Whenever (12:38.509)
Yeah, I felt her daughter was like, yeah, okay, like, why are you calling me and telling me some shit I already know? was like, you know? Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (12:43.148)
Who cares?

Wendy (12:47.166)
Right. That's how I, that's yeah, I felt the same way. Then we see Kyle and Sutton are packing and getting ready to go to the Hamptons and Rachel is packing and when Rachel was packing, I could just think of you. I'm like, this would be how Lori's packing. Calf tans upon calf tans upon calf tans.

We Wine Whenever (13:04.564)
I love it. absolutely. love it. I love her. Love it.

and jewels and sparkles and pretties. Yes. Yes. I love it.

Wendy (13:12.896)
Yes. Yes.

I was like, this is lorry packing to go.

We Wine Whenever (13:21.173)
Absolutely.

Wendy (13:23.362)
So then they get to the airport. Kyle's the first one to arrive and she gets there at 4.33 a.m. They have their own little airport lounge, which is very nice.

We Wine Whenever (13:33.247)
It looks very nice. I was like, okay. Okay. I can see that.

Wendy (13:35.438)
Yes, yes.

They must have been flying private is my guess that they.

We Wine Whenever (13:43.351)
Yeah, but when they got on the plane, it said Jet Blue.

Wendy (13:46.953)
that's interesting.

We Wine Whenever (13:47.531)
It said Jepllo. Yeah, because I was thinking, they're going to be on a private plane. And I was like eyeballing it. And right when they got on, was a sign that said Jepllo. Yeah.

Wendy (13:53.942)
And I didn't, yeah, I didn't notice that. I didn't notice that.

So then Rachel arrived at 445, so 15 minutes later, and she comes in wearing her high heels, which Kelly would say that is not appropriate attire for travel. for Rachel it is because she, yep, she wears her high heels everywhere. And then Dorit arrives at 527 and it is immediately, she hugs Rachel and Kyle's just sitting there and is very awkward between the two of them.

We Wine Whenever (14:08.191)
No, and it's not. She can do what she wants to do. She's a big girl.

We Wine Whenever (14:27.021)
Yeah, it was hard.

Wendy (14:30.574)
And once again, Dorit doesn't apologize for being late. And this bothers me. It bothers me.

We Wine Whenever (14:36.469)
Yeah, that's it really is. It really is rude. And I am not like a real on time girl myself, but yeah, but it is. Yeah, it is rude. mean.

Wendy (14:42.766)
I know. You at least apologize. You apologize, right? Like, you know that you're not on time. I mean, the fact that she doesn't apologize, and Kyle even said, like, you know, it's awkward, one, because she knows she's late. And then in her confessional, she goes on to say, you know, PK scheduled an emergency mediation so that...

We Wine Whenever (14:53.047)
Right.

Wendy (15:07.348)
He agreed to take the kids while I'm in the Hamptons and he dropped the kids off the night before much later than I ex- the night before. Like he picked up the kids the night before. So it's not like you were sitting there waiting for him to pick up the kids. That's why you're late. You're late because of your own reason and you didn't apologize and it's not cool. It's just not cool.

We Wine Whenever (15:15.211)
Right, you should have had all your shit ready the night before. Right.

We Wine Whenever (15:23.211)
Right. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (15:28.225)
Right. No, it is, it is rude. Definitely is rude.

Wendy (15:35.53)
back at Amanda's house, she's getting ready for the party and Dorit finds out in the car once they land in New York that she was the only one that wasn't invited to Amanda's party because she didn't even know about it. And back at Rachel's house, her friend, Suzanne. no, back in the Hamptons, they arrive at Suzanne's house, Rachel's friend.

We Wine Whenever (15:52.812)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (16:04.973)
Mm-hmm. Yes.

Wendy (16:05.654)
That house was beautiful. And Pamela, Rachel's sister was there. As soon as I saw her, was like, she looks just like, and I didn't see sister at the time. I had to rewind it. I was like, she's her sister. That's why she looks exactly like Rachel. Like, I think they look like sisters.

We Wine Whenever (16:19.435)
Yes, yes she does. Yeah.

Wendy (16:25.206)
and then

Wendy (16:28.78)
Rachel says when they're all together, the five of the ladies are together. She's like, I just realized like we're all divorced. And Kyle's like, well.

We Wine Whenever (16:38.005)
Yeah, I mean, you could have just went with it. mean, just bond with everybody and be like, almost, you know what I mean? Like just ha ha, like come on, just.

Wendy (16:40.747)
I know.

Wendy (16:47.478)
Yeah, yeah. Back in California, Boz and Erica are driving to Amanda's house together and they're talking about like, you know, what had happened the last time they were together. And Natalie is the first to arrive at Amanda's house. I don't, yeah, I heard, I don't know if it's true because I heard that Natalie is going to be taking over Amanda's spot.

We Wine Whenever (17:04.333)
You're Natalie again.

Wendy (17:17.954)
But when they showed the trailer, like the mid-season trailer at the end, it looks like Amanda is there. Like she's in Italy. She's looks like, I don't know where we lose Amanda in this. Like I heard Amanda stops filming. She stopped doing after shows. I didn't watch the most recent after show, but supposedly Natalie starts doing after shows.

We Wine Whenever (17:29.121)
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.

We Wine Whenever (17:40.941)
So maybe they're setting her, it seems like they're setting her up. You know, maybe, yeah, maybe like when they first started Amanda, they were like, she's gonna be good for TV, because she's gonna piss everybody off. But we're not quite sure how long that's gonna last, like how long she can hang in there. So maybe they were like, hmm, let's just have somebody else kind of in the way, you know, could be.

Wendy (17:44.554)
Yeah, which is okay.

Wendy (18:03.946)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, so I thought that was, you know, I thought that was interesting. So we'll have to wait and see what happens. Then Cathy Hilton and Sutton arrive. And it's funny because she's in Kyle's old house and Sutton had rented that house for a while. So it's Sutton's old house too. And it's funny to watch Cathy and Sutton arrive at a house that they're very familiar with, right?

We Wine Whenever (18:11.437)
Mm.

We Wine Whenever (18:29.525)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, I never knew that about that. And I was like, okay.

Wendy (18:34.656)
Yeah, she had rented it for short amount of time when she was building the house that she lives in now.

the doormat. Okay, so the doormat at Amanda's house says, Money Queen and co. Okay. What?

We Wine Whenever (18:55.479)
Ease Ease up, ease up. See, that's part of the problem too. It's like, there's, you know, it's great when you have a great cake and you have great frosting, but then when you have like too many decorations, like it's just like, it's too much. Everything is just too much. everything is just that one step over, like now you're, now you're freaking annoying.

Wendy (18:56.214)
I mean.

We Wine Whenever (19:27.169)
At least that's how I feel about it. And I saw that Boz was the only one who brought her a gift. I just think, I just find that amazing that people will be on a television show, national television show, and you're going to somebody's house and we know you're going there for the first time and you're not bringing them a gift. I don't know. To me that's...

Wendy (19:27.884)
Yeah.

Wendy (19:36.525)
I agree.

Wendy (19:50.166)
No, I agree. agree. That's odd. Even like we said, even if it's a bottle of wine or a candle, something. Something. Something. Right?

We Wine Whenever (19:56.277)
Yeah, but something, anything, something. Anything. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I don't get it. Flower, something, something.

Wendy (20:03.302)
something. Yeah. So it's interesting. They're all sitting at the table and Erica finds out that Rachel and Kyle and Dorie are all in the Hamptons. And she's like, how did I get left out of the Hamptons trip? Like she felt bad. And I don't blame her because she would have had so much fun there.

We Wine Whenever (20:18.283)
Yeah.

Yeah, she was like, why am I stuck here with this bullshit when I could be having a hot girl summer there?

Wendy (20:25.112)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (20:34.125)
you

Wendy (20:34.138)
It's so funny. And it's funny because when they were in the Hamptons filming, I remember seeing it all over social media that Rachel and Kyle and Dorit were in the Hamptons. And I kept saying, like, I only saw those three there. I wonder what's going on. And now we know. Yeah. So night one in the Hamptons, all five ladies go out and they're at a restaurant. And of course, Donna Karen happens to be at the restaurant and she comes over and gives this huge hugs to Rachel.

We Wine Whenever (20:46.687)
Right, right, right. Now we know.

Wendy (21:03.19)
And we find out from Rachel that she's been friends with her for a very long time. And when she first started out in the business when she was 22 years old running around New York, crashing Marc Jacobs fashion show, Donna Karan was there for her was like a mentor. So she appreciates that. And it's funny because I mean, I don't think of Donna Karan as like this great designer. I don't know. I mean,

We Wine Whenever (21:17.642)
nice.

We Wine Whenever (21:32.255)
No, she said, she said, she said, yeah. Yeah. Like Ralph Lauren. Like, yeah, like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got it.

Wendy (21:34.25)
I I know she's a designer, but I just don't think of her stuff as like, yeah. I know what her stuff is. Like, I just think it's, I don't wanna say it, but I'm gonna say it. It's just my opinion. I'm entitled to my opinion. I think it's basic. I think her stuff is basic. And not that I don't like basic, because as you can see, I am very basic, but I don't know.

We Wine Whenever (21:44.492)
Yes.

We Wine Whenever (21:57.697)
Yeah. But maybe it's, maybe some of it is too is, you know, she had more of a heyday.

maybe late 80s, 90s, you know what I'm saying? Like it's not necessarily, I wouldn't say she's somebody that you'd, like, I'm no fashion police for God's sake.

Wendy (22:20.546)
Well, listen, I went to school for fashion. I went to school for fashion, right? In 1986, I was in fashion school in New York City. No, no, I mean, she was a name. This is what I'm saying to you. She was a name. Like, I knew the name. I knew her. I knew her. Like, she's not like, it was like, you know, like Betsy Johnson and Ms. Rock, like Ms. Oni, like, like those names. Like, she was never those names. Do you know what I'm saying?

We Wine Whenever (22:27.745)
So was she a big name then? No, okay. She was a name, but she wasn't like...

We Wine Whenever (22:40.449)
writer stack big cut yeah yeah

We Wine Whenever (22:48.352)
Right, right, right, yeah.

Wendy (22:50.498)
I mean, yes, she was around then, but I don't remember her as being like this high fashion.

We Wine Whenever (22:56.247)
Yeah, well, yeah, who knows? But she seemed very nice. She seemed very nice.

Wendy (22:58.208)
Right, that's right. That's what I'm saying. No, she does, absolutely. And you know, I'm sure she's making a billion dollars and she's probably saying, who's this bitch in Jersey talking about me?

We Wine Whenever (23:05.184)
Yes. Here's in the basement. But listen, we're just sitting here bullshitting about a show. So all the people on social media, they get themselves all in an uproar. It's not that serious people. Not that serious.

Wendy (23:11.758)
That's right.

Wendy (23:18.872)
Ha ha ha ha.

Yeah.

No, it's not, it's not. So then back in California, they're doing the journaling and Natalie's like, I'm used to writing in a journal by myself, not in a group setting. And Amanda's like, well, I'm used to doing this one-on-one with my clients online. I'm like, this.

We Wine Whenever (23:46.253)
And again, manifestation, journaling, all that stuff is really freaking cool. And it can be a lot of fun. And for somebody who's so good at it, that was like,

Maybe it's just what production showed us. That was a lame-ass party I could have done a better manifestation party than that and you know what I mean? Like it was just it was bizarre. I don't know. I love how Bo said that Amanda's response to Dorit that it was an overly dramatic response to a very small issue

Wendy (24:08.599)
I thought so too.

Wendy (24:16.108)
Yeah.

Wendy (24:26.818)
Yes, yes, absolutely. And even then when they're sitting there trying to, know, cause she's giving them direction and Erica's like, I wrote down total financial freedom and everyone like just jumped on board. yeah, that's it. Like total, like they did. Exactly, exactly, exactly, exactly.

We Wine Whenever (24:44.941)
Yeah, because they couldn't be bothered thinking about freaking answer. You know, they were like, okay, let's write that down so we can go. And how about I was like, I wrote down, Amanda, where Amanda says, we know chapter two, you know, not waiting on a man to make you rich, taking it upon yourself. And I was like,

We Wine Whenever (25:12.993)
You are not making friends. You're not making friends.

Wendy (25:16.768)
No, no. So then it comes up where Sutton says to Amanda, I'm going to tell you how to fix it with Dorit. Because Amanda said that she went there thinking that this wasn't going to be a big deal. Like she was just going to have a conversation. Dorit said, you have to cop to say, like, yes, I was talking about your marriage when you weren't present. Amanda said, well, I disagree with the premise of this.

What does that even mean? The premise of admitting to what you did is what you disagree with? Because that's what you did. That's what you did.

We Wine Whenever (25:52.661)
It's crazy. It's just crazy. The whole thing is just madness. You know how crazy it is? I'm telling you how crazy it is. It is so crazy that there was a scene where Cathy Hilton was like, mm, like, mm, what perfume did I wear today? Mm, I'll have to wear this more often. I like it. Mm, it's very floral. Like, that's how fucking boring it was.

Wendy (26:11.822)
you

Wendy (26:17.454)
you

We Wine Whenever (26:19.725)
So boring to Kathy. then the smell of risks was great TV. I love the Kathy.

Wendy (26:26.978)
I mean, everything about Kathy Hilton I love. Even I was just watching an old after show of her, because I'm not caught up with the after shows, and she's sitting there, and she's eating the peanuts, and she's drinking, I didn't know what she was drinking, and then halfway through, she's like, can I get more Diet Coke and some more peanuts, please? I was like, again, this would be Lori. If we were sitting there, this would be Lori.

We Wine Whenever (26:35.373)
Mm.

We Wine Whenever (26:45.931)
Yeah. Yeah.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm like, look, these nuts are great. Get some more. But I think that's how boring it was. That's how boring it was.

Wendy (26:57.066)
you

Wendy (27:03.83)
Yeah, yeah. So then Sutton says, I'm gonna give you some very good advice. You did have your own opinion about Dorit and you were talking about her marriage, but then you backed off and I said, I was just repeating what Kyle said. Sutton said, let me tell you, I know this group and if you don't cop to it, this is my opinion. Like you're a big girl, you're not a young spring chicken.

We Wine Whenever (27:06.295)
lord.

Wendy (27:33.482)
You have to fight your own battles. Just admit what you said. Don't push this off on Kyle, which is what she did. She never admitted it. She never admitted it.

We Wine Whenever (27:40.541)
She absolutely did. Absolutely did. Absolutely did. Absolutely did. And like I said, when she first said it and we first started talking about it, all Amanda had to do was be like, you know what, you're right. I shouldn't have been talking about that without you there. But honestly, I really meant it. And I was looking out for you. I just don't want that. I understand that you're probably hurt and upset.

and that you say things in the moment, you just need to vent. I was just thinking that I wouldn't ever want that to come back at you when your kids hear it or in your divorce proceedings. Again, you're right. I don't know you well enough to really speculate, but I wasn't coming from a judgmental or a mean place. That's all you had to say. How long did that take me? Quick, quick.

Wendy (28:31.15)
Exactly. No. Yeah, no, exactly. Exactly. And it would have been fine. They could have moved forward.

We Wine Whenever (28:38.473)
And it would have been fine. She would have been a little meh still. But if Amanda would have just shut up and let her argue with other people, it would have been fine.

Wendy (28:49.676)
Right, right.

Then back in the Hamptons, Suzanne asked Dorit how long she'd been married and she said that she was married for 10 years and they'd been together for 14. And she's like, are you guys on good terms? She's like, no, I'm going through hell. Like we are not on good terms. And then Kyle jumped in and said, well, I haven't heard from you. Like what happened with the dinner with you and Mo?

know, Dorit made this face. And she's like, to me, felt very much like he had a script. Well, of course he did. He's P.K.'s friend. Like, what did you think was gonna happen? Right?

We Wine Whenever (29:31.061)
Right. Right.

Wendy (29:34.06)
And then Rachel jumped in and she's like, what, can tell you something I'm seeing across the board. It's an epidemic with the insecurity of, of men. like they, yes, a certain age group, they're, they're not where they want to be. They don't have enough money. Like they don't know what they want. which I, I don't know if that's true. mean, that may be what she's seeing because of where she's at. I don't, I don't know that. I mean,

We Wine Whenever (29:44.213)
A certain age group, right.

We Wine Whenever (30:01.047)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (30:03.886)
I'm not seeing that here in New Jersey, but I'm in, you know, like a smaller circle.

We Wine Whenever (30:10.111)
Yeah, but I just think it, I mean, to some extent, it, I mean, it is a generalization, but to some extent it can be very true. mean, it's, she's not making up anything new. It's the midlife male crisis, blah, blah, blah. So I know what she's talking about. I just think she's just looking at it like from that perspective. And maybe, and maybe.

Wendy (30:16.11)
Yeah.

Wendy (30:25.238)
Right, right, right, right.

Wendy (30:37.324)
Right, which is fine.

We Wine Whenever (30:39.965)
She is realizing since she's on television that if she makes some statements that are a little more general and not with her husband's name in her mouth, it's better.

Wendy (30:52.814)
Yes, that's probably actually you're probably 100 % right. You're

We Wine Whenever (30:53.909)
You know what mean? It is a little better to not.

Wendy (31:01.102)
Yes. And be supportive. Like that way she's supporting Dorit 100 % with that generalized statement. yeah. Yes. She's...

We Wine Whenever (31:06.541)
Right, right. But without, you know what I mean? Yeah, because I'm sure too, to some extent, she is somebody who is in this situation with being divorced and with small children. And she's could be looking at Doree and how she's handling the situation and being like, I feel exactly like Doree, but I don't want to be that. I don't want to...

I want to temper what I do a little bit. So maybe that's the gig too. Because she seems like a very intelligent, very savvy person.

Wendy (31:40.246)
No, I think that's it.

Wendy (31:45.922)
No, I totally agree. I totally agree. And I hope that she maybe pulls Dorita aside and has this conversation with her.

We Wine Whenever (31:54.113)
Well, I think Duree's wilding out and I think it's she's probably making her money and it's job security.

Wendy (32:04.536)
Well, that's true too. I mean, she's a single mom, right? So she's got to worry about those kids.

We Wine Whenever (32:05.473)
Yeah.

Right. she's got to, you know, and if...

being, you know, wild and out about it is gonna make her dough and keep her on the show.

Wendy (32:21.805)
Yeah, then keep going.

We Wine Whenever (32:22.913)
then that's her gig, you know? I wouldn't do it, that's... Who knows? Who knows why somebody, anybody does anything? I don't even know why I do what I do. No idea.

Wendy (32:25.282)
Yeah, that's true.

We Wine Whenever (32:39.519)
Yeah.

Wendy (32:41.742)
Meanwhile, back at Amanda Sutton said, think like we all want this resolved. And Amanda said, you know, my intention was like, was that this was going to be easy. And Boz is like, but you blamed it on Kyle.

Amanda said, I was just crying about my son on the anniversary of his death.

We Wine Whenever (33:01.591)
what does one have to do with the other? Like you're talking about two separate things. Like, yes, no one's negating that the conversation should have just stopped and blah, blah, blah. But like I said, she just had to say two sentences to cut Dorit off and redirect her. And she didn't. And so like,

Wendy (33:04.983)
Yeah, like.

Wendy (33:28.75)
Yeah, because Sutton said, that's not what happened at the restaurant. Like at the restaurant, that's when you should have brought it up. Because what she was talking about wasn't what happened at the restaurant. And Amanda said, well, I can hear what you're saying like you've made your point. And Sutton said, well, I'm going to say it again and again and again.

Wendy (33:46.839)
Amanda's like, you know.

Dory, Sutton and Bose both said, well, what you did got Dory and Kyle going after each other. Like they weren't going after each other until this happened at the restaurant. And Amanda's like, no, they were going after each other before that. And they're like, no, they weren't. They weren't. They weren't fighting. mean, they weren't agreeing on everything, but they weren't fighting like what happened when she threw it back on Kyle because that's what made it explode.

We Wine Whenever (34:16.555)
Right. Right.

Wendy (34:18.134)
And like you said at the restaurant, when she did that and it was off of her, she's the one who brought it back onto her. Like, you know.

Wendy (34:30.284)
And then Amanda's like, well, I don't think it's fair, like, putting everything on me and putting me in that place. And Boz is like, well, you put yourself in that place. and Sutton's like, like, you can't be such a wimp. And she's like, don't call me a wimp in my house. A wimp? Like, the word wimp is, is that offensive to you?

We Wine Whenever (34:47.917)
And I loved how production went back and showed all the C-bombs and the, you it was great. was great. And you know, Sutton in her confessional, and she's correct, said how Amanda's whole persona will change when she's not directing how the conversation is going.

Wendy (34:55.929)
my gosh, yes, yes.

We Wine Whenever (35:14.419)
And something is right, her whole body language changes, she does the big sigh, she does the eye roll, she does the, you're attacking me. She does like the whole thing. That's why I'm saying, like, I don't know if she's been like behind her computer screen talking to people for too long. Because live interaction doesn't, you know what I mean? Like you're not, it's not the Amanda Show, like you're not, yeah, it's just.

Wendy (35:38.508)
Right, doesn't work that way.

We Wine Whenever (35:43.637)
It's just very odd. It's very bizarre. I find it very odd.

Wendy (35:49.388)
I do too. And you know, the interesting thing is, as soon as Amanda came on, my first reaction to her, before I knew anything about her, because I knew nothing. Like, I don't like to learn about the season before it happens. I don't look up the people before it. Like, I don't do that. I knew nothing about her, but my very first impression of her when we talked about her and she said that, I wrote the book, Rich's F, and Kelly said, I want to read that book.

And I was like, just, snake oil salesperson. That's what my first impression was of her. And I stand by it. I still think that is who she is. I think that she's a fraud. I just think that she's a fraud. And I think that her going on this show, to be honest with you, I think she may have ruined her business because I think that the public now is seeing who Amanda Francis really is.

We Wine Whenever (36:34.477)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (36:43.693)
Yeah, maybe. I don't know.

Wendy (36:46.594)
I don't know.

We Wine Whenever (36:47.435)
Yeah, I don't know. I just find her very odd and interesting the way she... just the way she interacts. Like, I'm not saying that, you know, all the fighting and the carrying on, I'm not saying I get that either, but just the way she moves...

within her own reality. I just find it very interesting. To me, it's very odd.

Wendy (37:15.34)
No, I agree. It's odd. I agree. Kathy even said, like, you just have to read the room and realize you're going to get your tail in hot water. I was like, that's it.

We Wine Whenever (37:22.847)
Yeah, exactly,

Wendy (37:30.538)
And then we see the mid-season trailer where it looks like we have a lot more to come. Like it looks like they're traveling to Italy.

Wendy (37:41.644)
The other thing is I saw online, we were talking about Bose last week and how the embryos didn't go to the next stage and we were surprised that she went to Nevada. I've read online and I've seen people reporting that that place that she went to is no longer in business. And people got like,

We Wine Whenever (37:58.263)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (38:11.606)
a day's notice that had embryos there that he was closing, that they were closing. I know, I know. I know, it is horrible. So I don't know what that's all about, but when I saw that I was like, my gosh, this is horrible. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (38:14.605)
you

We Wine Whenever (38:19.693)
harm.

We Wine Whenever (38:26.541)
Oh, yeah, that's a no good.

Wendy (38:31.018)
No, no.

I don't have anything else for Beverly Hills. Do you have anything else?

We Wine Whenever (38:39.816)
No.

Wendy (38:43.936)
What'd you do with your eyelashes?

We Wine Whenever (38:46.615)
Okay, so to my Ocean County and Monmouth County, New Jersey girlies, there was a place called Dream Lash. And I went today and I had the lash lift and tint and the woman was awesome. So anybody who's out there looking for any kind of lash work, and I never had it done, but it's great because now I'm not going to mascara for like two months, which is awesome.

Wendy (38:48.046)
Thank

We Wine Whenever (39:14.549)
and I can still put my castor oil on them, because I put castor oil on my eyelashes at nighttime. So it's going to be a nice break from mascara, you know, because I usually wear mascara to work. And I'm very excited about it. They curled nice. She tinted them black. So it looks like I have on mascara. Bang. I was like, OK. Yeah. So again, it's Dream Lash, and it's in Manisquan, New Jersey. Very nice, very nice girl.

Wendy (39:34.466)
That's awesome.

That's awesome.

We Wine Whenever (39:44.801)
They came out excellent. She also did my daughter's. Absolutely beautiful.

Wendy (39:48.406)
And now you said two months, the last two months. And how long did it take?

We Wine Whenever (39:50.739)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So what I have to do is not get them took like an hour I just have the only thing I have to do is like not get them wet for 24 hours

Wendy (40:02.286)
OK. All right.

We Wine Whenever (40:03.809)
So if you have like halfway decent lashes and you don't need more lashes put on, then the Lash Lift and Tint is really great.

Yeah, so it's very exciting.

Wendy (40:15.768)
Thank you for that little advertisement. like you said, Ocean or Monmouth County.

We Wine Whenever (40:18.125)
Yes, Mom with an ocean county, yep, because she's in Manisquan, New Jersey. So, you all right?

Wendy (40:25.422)
And to everyone else, thank you for watching and listening. Please subscribe and give us five star reviews. Bye!
