Fourteen women. One house in the woods. Four days that somehow feel like a whole new chapter. We’re fresh back from our second Goddess Gathering weekend, and the first thing we want to tell you is the truth most people skip: right before we left, we panicked. The doubt crept in, our bodies begged us to stay home, and we still packed the car and went because growth always seems to ask for a little free-fall.

What happened next is the reason we can’t stop talking about it. We unplugged in a way that felt almost rebellious, phones left on tables, shoulders dropping for the first time in a long time. The retreat had enough structure to feel held and enough freedom to let real connection happen. Deep conversations popped up everywhere, people said things out loud for the first time, and the “sister wound” started to heal in real time. We also share the mycelium metaphor that hit us hard, a reminder that women’s community is a network that feeds everything we’re trying to build.

Then we bring it home to the real world with accountability. We talk intentions, the backpack metaphor for all the invisible weight we carry, and why not feeling alone can be the biggest form of healing. Barb goes on the record with a commitment to meditation, and Lyssa talks about owning her intuition enough to share the tools with her partner and family. We close with “I Am Her,” the mindset shift that turns waiting into choosing, plus a story about impatience that made us rethink forcing the timeline.

If you’ve been craving a women’s retreat, deeper friendship, nervous-system calm, or a reset that actually sticks, press play. Then subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

Margaritas And A Juicy Start

Barb

Episode 144. It's gonna be juicy. This is gonna be juicy. Um, speaking of juicy, we have new margaritas. Adrienne texted us this morning saying that she did something fun and exciting. So we're gonna jump right into it and figure out what's in our cup.

Lyssa

Let's do it. Salute. Salud. Oh, that is different. Delicious. That is very different. It's so smooth. I'm gonna go in again.

Barb

It tastes like a Jolly Rancher, if I'm being honest.

Lyssa

Honestly, by the looks of it, when you first poured it, it was giving Kool-Aid. Like I was like, this is like a fruit punch margarita. Like I've never had anything like that before. But it's definitely some sort of fresh puree. Like I can feel it. It's a little bit thicker. It's not, it's not just like smooth. So there's definitely a puree in there.

Barb

But it's down the tequila.

Lyssa

Yeah.

Barb

Like it's not overpowering and it's delicious. Amazing job, Adrian. Perfect.

Lyssa

Yeah, no idea what it is, and I love it.

Barb

Um,

Back From The Goddess Gathering

Barb

so we have come back from a goddess gathering weekend, our second goddess gathering weekend. And we're here to share what's on our heart.

Lyssa

Yeah, definitely came back. We just got back yesterday, last night, um, around seven o'clock, we got back into town, and I was like, damn, I'm so excited that we get to hop right onto the mics because I want to talk all about it. I think it was what did you say this morning? You said it was wild, there are stories, we are transformed. Like, that's it. That's what happened. It just felt like the most perfect synopsis of what the last four days of our lives have been. And I am, I'm very excited to talk about it and just gush over the whole weekend and all of the beautiful women that we got to share time and space with. Yeah.

Barb

So we obviously attended our first one back in February. Um, you know, there's a whole episode on that of our experience. Um, and this is gonna go down similarly. So we're gonna start at the beginning, right? Um,

The Pre-Trip Resistance And Doubt

Barb

which is Wednesday and the freakout, right? The internal freakout that starts to happen right before we actually have to get in the car and go do the thing we said we're gonna go do. What is that?

Lyssa

I wish I could tell you, and I also wish it could go away. And yet here we are, uh, right before every big major event, like the butterflies, the anxiety, the excitementslash nervousness, like really just seeps in, and you're like, oh my God, what am I about to do? I think it's it's truly that moment of just going into the unknown and you're free-falling. And that's what the first 24 hours prior to us knowing that we had to leave. We had to leave so early in the morning. So we went um to an Airbnb in uh Pennsylvania. So we had about a three-hour and 45-minute trek ahead of us. Um, and so, you know, given the time that we wanted to arrive and all that, we had to be all packed up and ready to go and on the road by 7 a.m. on Thursday. And fhew. That made Wednesday just a little bit chaotic. Typical. Was it classic Marlisa?

Barb

We packed everything up, yeah. We did the thing, we got ready, right? It was it was a non-negotiable. We had to do it, we're there already. We were feeling the resistance.

Lyssa

It is crazy to me how quickly the resistance can just like pull you right in. Like, this was something that we had our goddess, our first goddess gathering back in February. And three days later, the July goddess gathering was posted live, ready to go, and it was on the calendar. And that was so exciting, right? We were fresh off the first one, we're like, hell fucking, yeah, we want to do this again, right? And we've had all of our planning meetings and lots of texting going back and forth, very communicative. And so to get to know these ladies over the last five months and just kind of build up this excitement, like it's it's just been nothing but exciting. And yet here we are, 24 hours beh before we have to leave. And we're like, wait, why are we doing this again? What you know, it's like all of these thoughts and doubt, you know, just kind of creeps in and it almost feels foreign because you're like, I've been so excited for the last five months. Why all of a sudden are you saying, like, are we sure that we want to do this? And I'm like, yes. And my body is like, please stay home.

Barb

And that's even though we've been on this healing journey for years and years and years, we still find ourselves at that piece of resistance as you know, every time. And I do believe that as we continue to grow and learn, we're gonna edge out, as Shanna Banana likes to say, and hopefully work our way to the point where it's not so much resistance, it's not so scary. And I I want, I feel the need to share that it's fucking scary. Yeah, right. We loved it, it was amazing. And I can say that in the beginning I was I was a bit nervous of what was gonna happen because if you were to ask, hey, what was gonna happen at that retreat? I could tell you the agenda was part of the meeting. And also I know shit is gonna go down that I'm not ready for.

Lyssa

It's just like the ultimate real world, you know? Like you put 14 women in a house for four days, and like, what's gonna happen? Like, you can plan all the things that you want to plan. But at the end of the day, while you know, there's definitely degrees of people knowing each other, it's 14 strangers in a home for four days. So yeah, it don't really matter what's on that cute little paperboard that I made and listing all the activities. At the end of the day, we're autonomous and we can do whatever the hell we want. And so, what was that gonna be? And so to truly have that unknown, it was like an instant, I don't know, we gotta back away just a little bit, you know, that that caution is kind of what comes because I feel like I want to acknowledge that I do think that we have edged out way more than 100% that we weren't because we went. And also because like we didn't even feel that resistance until right before. So it wasn't like uh I was dreading this for so long, you know, and and all of that.

Barb

Like it was just forward progressing.

Lyssa

Yeah, we were excited until it was like really time to do it, you know? Like I can walk to the top of the mountain, but then when you tell me I gotta jump, I'm like, wait, what? So I think that's kind of just natural. I think it was natural that we felt that. Um, and I don't necessarily think that's something that's gonna go away. So we just have to get good with that bounce back and knowing that, like, okay, my body's feeling it. I'm feeling the doubt, my body's feeling the doubt, all these thoughts are creeping in. But all my evidence shows me that once I go there and experience it, it's gonna be the best weekend ever.

Barb

And that is what kept us putting one foot in front of the other on Wednesday and kept us in motion, forward motion. We didn't uh like stall out. Right. Um, so everything was ready. You came in the morning, you picked me up. We still had more things to put in the car. Shocker. Did we have enough space? No. Did we wish we had more space? Yes, we did leave a couple things behind. Um, but we packed up Judy and we hit the road. And

Road Trip Silence And No AC

Barb

that alone, just the road trip part to spend three and a half hours next to my best friend. We can't really do anything, right? This is no screen time. Let's take it to the 90s. We're in this car. It's me and you. We're locked in to the road ahead. And that was great.

Lyssa

Yes, ultimate 90s, because sidebar. Judy ain't got no AC right now. So tangent, Judy's AC busted. And I had full intention. I knew this was coming. I knew this road trip was coming. And so I was like, of course, I'm gonna fix the AC before we go down.

Barb

Of course, it's the middle of July.

Lyssa

No, of course. And so we've already been dealing with it thus far, and we've had some hot days, and I've had days where yes, I've taken multiple showers and had multiple outfits between car rides because ew. And it is what it is. Like, I low-key am kind of like enjoying the aspect of like, yeah, some things are hard, and you know, it is what it is. And like, did I die driving 10 minutes down the road to where I needed to go without AC? No, I didn't, I survived. Um, so you know, I like those easy A's, you know that. Um, and but I did. I was like, there's no way now we're going four hours, you know, in 90 degree weather and not have AC. Full intention on when we got back from our trip to Pennsylvania in a car that did have AC, that when we went on our trip, I would fix Judy. So came back that next Monday and pulled up to see that there were some cones in front of their driveway, the auto repair place that I take Judy to. And um, yeah, they decided to take a vacation that week. They didn't tell you, and they didn't let me know. I was I was not on the email chain, did not get the memo. I had to wait till I was there reading the handwritten note taped to the door, hashtag 90s. And I was like, oh shit, Judy's not getting her AC.

Barb

And you know what? It wasn't even that bad. I do love the retro-ness of it. It was cute. I am enjoying the pullback. I'm enjoying it, it's just not working. I don't know. I mean, it is what it is. We aren't gonna die. So we didn't die. We spent three and a half hours in the car and we talked, we drove in silence, no one said anything. That and that was fun. That was just so nice to sit in quiet and not have anyone ask you for something really stupid because it's summertime.

Lyssa

That part, that part. It was very, it was a very enjoyable trip. I remember when we got in, we were kind of conversing with the other ladies, and that was one of the things that they also mentioned. They that was definitely a shared experience. They were kind of like, yeah, no, we didn't even turn on the music for the first like two hours. Like we were just talking and talking and talking. And then some uh some of us did say like the same thing about the silence. They were like, we just sat in silence for a whole hour, and it was fucking fantastic.

Barb

Like, so like it started off yeah with the treat, right? It was it it is far away from every every participant had to drive there. It was a minimum of the house. I think the minimum was two hours, yeah. Up to eight hours. That's a long time to to get to the destination. So we all enjoyed it, right?

Arrival Nerves And Letting Go

Barb

We discussed it, and then we got there, and the planning crew, the setup crew is there first to do their job, and I'm excited, I am, and I'm so nervous now. It's like shit, we gotta do all the things we said we were gonna do. I'm here and I have to do all the things. I get to do all the things that I said I was gonna do, and we also knew walking into this that we were going to be transformed because that's what happened at the last one. How silly of me to not think that I'm gonna be not transformed after this one. Like some shit's about to go down, and I am nervous.

Lyssa

I am it's the unknown again. It's the knowing something is gonna happen, but not knowing what that thing is. You can't see it, you can't plan it, you just gotta wait and see.

Barb

And uh yeah, that's a little nerve-wracking to Bar Lisa, or literally event planners by trade, because I like to plan things, I like to have my calendar full, I like to know when things are happening, and now I just have to come to this place and not know what's about to happen, unplug, right, deactivate from the real world and just be and the last time we did that was in February with Shanna and Melissa and I guess this is where we get to the transformative part of the story. But this weekend was wild. Recap because that's how we got there, and then we got to experience 14 women, 12 if you discount us, 12 other women in a house for four days with some structure and a lot of free time, and a lot of downtime, and a lot of time to just be exactly who they want to be, when they want to be it, do what they want when they want to, and not have any other responsibilities on their shoulders, like you could see everyone's shoulders just drop and relax, and I think that alone for women, mothers, anyone who's a caretaker, you know, like what a gift to be given.

Unplugging And The Magic Container

Lyssa

That alone. Not talking about any of the programming, anything else. You just got a moment to drop your shoulders and not have to worry about. We were unplugged, like all of us, for the whole weekend. Like there were cell phones like scattered around, right? Because we all would check in and you know, do whatever, but no one carried their phone around, no one was actively on it. There was a lot of hey, where's my phone? So much. Everyone was everyone knows everyone's phone now because like we had to look for it collectively, you know, at different times. And I I loved all of that. I loved everyone being so in the moment and being present.

Barb

That was a present and speaks volumes to what has been created, the the nucleus of it, Shanna and Melissa, and their container. It's magical and it gives the space to just be you. Yeah. And magic happened all weekend long. Every single day, and like every single moment, you would just turn and like some deep conversation was happening. Things were coming to the light sometimes for the first time. This is the first time I'm saying this out loud. I've been thinking it for so long, but I'm gonna say it out loud. The magic. Yeah, the little nuggets of magic that was happening all around all weekend because they brought this container together and provided a safe, loving environment for women to connect, for women to pause and be in stillness to figure some shit out that maybe you've been avoiding. Maybe you are unclear and you can't figure it out at home because you have the laundry list of life sitting in front of you at home. What a gift.

Lyssa

Yeah. A thousand percent. It it truly was the ability to bring in what you needed and take away what you needed. Like there was this constant giving and receiving that happened all weekend through through all of us. Like in some way, we all made time to personally connect with each of each other. And that was again, it was so beautiful. It was almost like each one of us saying, What is it that I can share with you that can help you? What is something that I can give you to take away from this weekend? And how can you not like put that in your heart and like not want to snuggle it forever? Like it's it was it turned into like a summer camp. It was a summer camp.

Barb

100%.

Lyssa

And I'd never been to a summer camp before.

Barb

Not one time have I ever, ever, ever been to a summer camp.

Lyssa

But if I had to guess what they were like, I'm gonna say it was that.

Barb

And dare I say, I would do it again. We obviously, right? You came over, we've been together all day talking about it. I would do it again with these same people. A thousand percent. Because the connections that were made, I actually woke up this morning and I was excited to like reach out at different moments. We've been reaching out and like playing playlists from the weekend and messaging privately some people to be like, hey, how did this go? I just finished my journal and I wanted to really share that with you and hold proof, hold confidence that you can do it too, because I was like you once. And that yeah, that's crazy to me because I've never had, I don't want to say never, never such a like definitive word. I haven't experienced that much of a want before. Yeah. And I'm excited. I'm excited to continue friendships and I'm excited to like fuck yeah, let's just do this us again next summer. And every summer we just meet here and this is this is summer camp. Right.

Summer Camp Energy And New Bonds

Lyssa

Like it the whole theme of this stay truly was that this was the beginning. That every person was coming into this space in some way, shape, or form, needing to shed an old story and begin a new one. And that was something that hit for all of us. And I I do think that it was the beginning of something for all of us. And that Shanna mentioned multiple times about you know, the purpose and the concept behind these goddess gatherings of women being like the mycelium of mushrooms and growing underneath the roots of the earth that are connected to literally everything. And I think that that integrated with us. I think that we are now deeply connected to all of this women because of the experience that we all had together. There's no way that I can know just kind of erase them from my mind or let them fade into the background. I don't see that happening with any person that that we made a connection with because every single one was special and important and it held something different for us. And for those reasons, now when those opportunities come across, I'm gonna think of you. I'm gonna wanna share them with you. And I just don't think that there really is anything that gets better than being able to connect to another human in that manner, and now be able to say, I am so excited to continue to share my life with you once a year, every July. I'll see ya, you know, and we can connect again and we could do this, and obviously in between as much as we can, but almost to know that we had something on the calendar every year where I was gonna come back to you, like that feels right. And I hope that that happens as much as it possibly can.

Mycelium Sisterhood And Trusting Women

Barb

And that that's the first time that I've experienced that feeling, holding that feeling, and like, wow, what growth when we met Shanna. We didn't really have the community yet. We met her early on in our business journey and instantly fell in love with her, right? And she has been such a huge, huge part of our growth and our healing and our acceptance of who we are. Yeah. And in that, we have learned to trust other women, to know that women are not competition, that they are not like your hot shit has nothing to do with my hot shit. And you being hot shit doesn't mean that I can't be hot shit. Like, what if we're hot shit together at the same time? And that has resonated, and that mission. That core, that value is what transpired this weekend, is the transformation that I can see for us that no, I do believe that we all need each other. A hundred percent. We've known that from the beginning. We've built a business community of, you know, small women-owned businesses because we knew women were the shit. And now we continue to grow that and find more women and get to bond with more people because they're out there hot shitting, you know.

Lyssa

We are all in this together. And I think that Shanna has absolutely 1000% healed a sister wound in us. I think that there's probably a lot of people that assume that we wouldn't have something like that because we all always had each other. Um, but unfortunately, we have built a society where the sister wound, I believe, lives in every single woman, intentionally or not intentionally, subconsciously or not. And it was healing this weekend. It was very, very healing to know it was like a trustfall. And we have never been able to trust fall on other women before and be caught. That's just literally never happened. And this weekend, I feel like that really happened. Like we were caught, and that's a beautiful feeling to walk away with. Like I I remember this was a couple of years ago now when we first met Shanna. And I think it was to go to her first divine feminine dance class. That took us a long time. A long time to get to finally do it. And like I remember the tickets were we finally got them, we booked it. It was on the calendar. And I remember going to bed that night, the night before, and saying, I'm gonna tell Barbara in the morning I don't want to go. I gotta tell the night right for this. And I was like, I think I'm gonna just say, like, I'm out, like whatever, you know, like I'm just gonna be honest. I'm gonna say, I really don't want to go to this class. And that night I had a visceral dream that I was told, you have to go to this class because this woman is gonna change your life. And now I'm gonna cry. She has. And she has provided me that safe space to discover myself. That's such a gift. That's such a gift. And if I didn't go to that first divine feminine dance class, right? Like, I don't know that I could be saying this. One of the things that she mentioned on the trip was that she had felt like she finally nailed it, like this was the the thing that she was trying to build the whole time. And I just I think that just needs to be amplified because like you fucking did it. This really was it. You have continued to transform so many women's lives, and like this gathering, it's it's a big deal. I think what we did out there, which was literally whatever we wanted to, like, just that freedom to be free as a person. Like, I think men need it too. You know what I mean? Like what we did out there, I think is could benefit any human. But like, what a fun way to just get 14 women and have a sleepover for four days and be free, do whatever you want, and really just kind of find your power, be liberated in that enough to come back to society, normal life, and be like, yeah, no, fuck y'all. I do it way better, especially in the woods.

The Backpack Metaphor And Not Alone

Barb

And the community aspect of I'm not the only one going through shit. Yeah. Everyone is going through shit. And in this space, we were all able to kind of what was the backpack? Yep. We took our backpack up, all the backpack that carries all the shit. All the shit that you know about that you don't know about, some have secret pockets. Yeah. And we got to put that down. We got to unpack that shit, literally unpacked a backpack of shit that is only in my head. And to look around and see other women unpacking their backpack and just saying, like, fuck, fuck, this is heavy. Yeah. And I'm like, damn. Yeah. My backpack's not the only one that's heavy. That part. There is so there's so much healing to know that you are not the only one.

Lyssa

To have that concept of, you know, that this is water. Like we are in this together. We are all carrying something you can learn to walk with grace. Like you, in just knowing you're able to shed something, you're able to shed a little bit of the dead weight, you know, that we talked about all the different things in our backpack, and some things carry more weight than others. And that weight of feeling alone sometimes outnumbers literally everything else that's inside of your backpack. You can have a hundred things in your backpack, and those other 99 things will not come close to the weight of feeling alone. And so, again, to just be in that container and to look at these women and to know, fuck, we are not alone. We all got to take that out of our backpack that day. And that was transformative. Because now I get to walk lighter, knowing that there are other people out there that are going through what I'm going through, have gone through what I've gone through, that I was able to help them, give them a little glimpse of what's on the other side of their journey, and vice versa. All of that sharing, all of that collective bonding, like that's energy. And we all got to take that with us and you know, bring it forward. You can't not be different after this. That's the whole point. The point of this is to bring everything in your backpack to awareness, to bring what you really want out of life to awareness. And now you get to go and be who you want. Because you know it, you felt it, you've experienced it, and then you get to go into the world and make it a reality. So here's where we get accountable.

Intentions Accountability And Meditation

Barb

We're gonna say it on the mics because I need accountability. Um, we walked in with intentions, right? That's a beautiful thing that they start off with and then end with okay, like now what's different, what's the same? Um, and my intention when we began was to fill my cup, and I am overfloweth. I am so energized, I'm so ready to live in the life that I've created. I'm so aware. So, like all the things, and we also know that we can't be the same, right? If we're gonna have a transformative experience, something has to change, something has to transform, something has to be different when you come back. So I am committing to meditation. Get it, girl. Get it, get it, girl. Everything this weekend said, bitch, you need to meditate. Like almost everything. So I am listening. Yes, and even though it's not something I want to do, I think that is a bigger green flag to do it because I'm so resistant, right? The thing that you're most resistant of sometimes, oftentimes, is just the thing you may need to be a little bit more happier. Um, so I'm going on the record. I'm stating for the record that I am going to begin meditation. And that is gonna be my second leg of my 2026 goals. This is the first year that we have, right? We set intentions at the beginning of the year, and I do think that I am ready to commit to a mid-year goal of this sexy, and that is to meditate.

Lyssa

I love that. So that's amazing. Yeah, I also received that message. I heard all of the things that I need to do. Um, and I agree. I think that not only um do I plan to meditate for myself, but I think I was also called to pass these this wisdom um on to my partner. And so I will be doing my best to share this, right? I I need to be better at that, at sharing these things. Um, so I'm gonna share more with my partner. Um, and I think I'm ready to also start introducing some of this stuff to your son because he needs it more than anyone. Said with love. Um, and I think I have, I know that I have been too scared because I haven't felt confident in my knowing to be able to trust myself enough to pass on to knowledge and to actually teach it and to be like, do you even know what you're talking about? Like, are you just regurgitating things you saw on Instagram, you know, kind of thoughts? And this weekend has helped me own my intuition, has helped me own my wisdom. I am an owl, I know it. And I think that I'm ready to not only do these things for myself, but to bring my family along for the ride so that way we can be a family that meditates.

Barb

Yeah. It's what good is it for it to stop here? Like at with us. It we have to continue to spread and continue to grow the channel because that's how we heal people.

Lyssa

Period. I I have truly resonated with the fact that like we are the mycelium of the earth. Like we we need to make the connections, we are the roots. I think that we need to help. I think women are the shit. Yeah, hot shit. Powerful fucking beings, and we serve a higher purpose in this world. And I think I'm just like really ready to serve my higher purpose. And like, again, I got that in four days. That's crazy.

Barb

And dare I say that six months was too long. Yeah. Because I energetically feel the difference, right? I was empty. I said it. I need to fill my cup because I knew that I was empty. So I it's data. I can't ignore the data. I need community, I need a women to be around for us to vent about being a mom, to vent about being a business owner to this one, to vent about sometimes I don't like journaling, but I'm gonna journal anyways, you know? And like, let's talk shit about journaling, but like low-key, I'm gonna go journal about this tonight. Exactly. I'm gonna journal about how I talk shit about journaling. Classic. So that we continue to not feel alone.

Lyssa

Absolutely. I think that this goddess gathering, it truly is gonna change the world because it changed 14 women's worlds over the weekend. That was just four days, and now we are going to take that into our own little worlds and we're gonna continue to spread. And I think that's just how it works. I didn't see it before, and now I can't unsee it. I get it, I got a job to do, and I'm excited, and I'm excited to go. I'm so excited to do it to be this person because ultimately the job is just to continue to be who I am. That is the job, and to show others that they can be who they are. That's really powerful. I don't even gotta

I Am Her And Trust The Timing

Lyssa

work that hard.

Barb

There was uh the theme, it's I am her, right? I I am her, the the one that I think I want, I am her. I must embody her because how will she become me if I am not her? And that is resonating, that is hitting. I I am her. We are her. Who is her? Whoever I want her to be. So today I want her to be like this, and maybe in two weeks I want her to meditate, and maybe in a month we're gonna add on something else. And she continues to change, but I am always her. I am her, I am her already, and that is another weight off the chest to know that I don't have to wait. Oh my God, when is it gonna happen? And what give me the timeline and all these things. No, it's a choice, and I choose now.

Yeah. That was actually one of the cards that I pulled. I think it's funny you say that. I forgot about that. Um, so one of the cards that I had pulled over the weekend was the impatience card, and it told a story um about a guy who didn't want to wait for the moon to come up. So he went and bought a moon and put it in the sky. And I think it was the sun came down and told him, like, you know, just like wait, like the moon's coming, chill, chill, chill, you know, just like when it's my turn, I'm gonna go away. This, you know, the moon will come. And he didn't want to wait. So he put up his moon. Um, the moon came and then came dawn, and the sun came out, and he couldn't see the sun because it was blocked by his moon that he put up himself. And I feel like it was just that metaphor. Like, I think I needed to really have that visual to understand fully what I was supposed to do, what I need to do. I know that I am just waiting because I do feel that. I do feel like I have become her. I feel like I'm ready to be this next version, to live this next phase of life. And I can feel the energy pulling in that direction. And I'm eager. I'm an eager beaver. And to pull that card and to read that message, it was like just chill, you know. The biggest mantra that I think we have on this podcast is to trust the timing of your life. And I have to trust the timing of my life. I have to trust that it's already there, that I'm already her, that all the things are there for me to have exactly what I want when it's time for me to have it. And I can't just go put up my own moon because then I'm gonna miss the sun. So we'll see. I don't know. I think that was that was a big takeaway. And again, something to help shed that weight. I no longer have to feel this weight of the weight. I just can let that go and understand that it will be there for me when it's time. And now I got to take something else out of my backpack. This weekend was just beyond transformative.

Try Something New And Closing Notes

Barb

Well, I love we've just been jabbering about all these things, right? And we could probably continue because there were so many magical moments that happened. So, to wrap it up for our friends, try something new. That part. Try something that you first look at and you're like, holy shit, I would never take a second glance. Yeah, take a second glance at whatever you just looked at that you said you would never. There's something on the other side waiting. And what if it's just the thing that you need? Yeah, and you're just too scared to do it, that part.

Lyssa

You're just uh conflating the fear of the unknown with something else. And you have to just trust. You have to trust yourself, give yourself that nugget because the truth is that you you're right, you don't know. But that means that it could be really great. The unknown does not mean that it you're gonna go in it and you're not gonna like it because you didn't know what it was gonna be like. You could go into it and you could love it, you could be transformed, you have to give it a shot because you don't know. And being able to romanticize that, I think to have a little whimsy, I think is the key word everyone's using nowadays. Whimsy, have a little whimsy in your life. Do something that you would never do. Do it because once you do it, if you like it, then you're like, oh my god, I just discovered something new that I love that I could do for the rest of my life. And if you don't like it, then now you can say, No, I'm never gonna do that again because I don't like it. Not, oh, I'm never gonna do that because I'm scared. That's a whack reason. It hits different, it's very different.

So do something new, like a goddess gathering, you know, retreat. I think you should highly recommend.
