Tennessee Volleyball sophomore Kennedi Rogers has wasted no time making an impact on Rocky Top. After an ACC All-Freshman season at SMU, the Missouri City, Texas, native transferred to Tennessee and has become a key part of the Lady Vols' offense.
In this episode of Everything Orange, Rogers joins host Sarah Detwiler to discuss her journey to Tennessee, the decision to enter the transfer portal, and how the Lady Vols coaching staff has helped her develop into a six-rotation player. She also reflects on her breakout start to the 2026 season, including a 21-kill performance in Tennessee's win at No. 9 Penn State.
Rogers talks about building chemistry with All-American setter Caroline Kerr, taking on a leadership role as a sophomore, and what she's learned about this team through the opening weeks of the season. She also dives into what it means to play in front of Lady Vol Nation and what the Lady Vols look to accomplish this year.
I think it's really nice to be on a team that no one settles for like anything less than greatness. And I think it's kind of expected from each and every one of us that we all have the same goal in mind. You always want to be great. Everyone's always striving to get better. If we meet some goal here, we're like, hey, we gotta get better here. We always are trying to find something that can like give us the edge, and that's way.
SPEAKER_01Hey y'all, welcome back to the Everything Orange podcast presented by First Horizon. Volleyball is in full swing, no pun intended, so far this season. And they've got some great talent on the team, including veteran experience and some new faces. And one of those in particular is having a breakout sophomore season. If you haven't heard her name yet, you probably will because she has been buzzing through the volleyball community. And she's here on the podcast with us today to talk about what made her want to come to Rocky Top and what the coaches saw in her that has made her had such an incredible year so far. So please welcome to the Everything Orange podcast, Kennedy Rogers. Kennedy Rogers, welcome to the Everything Orange podcast.
SPEAKER_00Thank you for having me. I'm so excited.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we're so excited to have you on. It's crazy to think that you're already off and running into your sophomore year at a new school. And I feel like Vulnation has gotten to know you pretty well, both on and off the court. So far, has this season been what you thought it was gonna be when you transferred here?
SPEAKER_00You know, everyone has like their different like thoughts of how like transferring's in a go, but like I didn't could have never like imagined it'd be like as amazing at it as it is. Like it's been honestly such like such a blessing to be here, and like my experience has been like phenomenal.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I love that. That's amazing. Because how many months have you been here now?
SPEAKER_00What is it? Wait, what month is it?
SPEAKER_01It's uh October. You're like, sure, that works.
SPEAKER_00Ten months then, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. So almost like a full year, so you've really gotten the chance to settle.
unknownMessages and conversations.
SPEAKER_00Take the phone. Take the phone. What is the talking to you?
SPEAKER_01That's hilarious.
SPEAKER_00He's all in my business.
SPEAKER_01Like, girl. Oh, that's so funny. Okay, so before we talk more about tennising and your time here, I want to talk about who Kennedy Rogers was growing up in Texas. Have you always had the fun, loving personality that we see in you today when you were a little kid?
SPEAKER_00Yes. Like there are so many pictures of me just like doing my own thing, like dancing, laughing, giggling. I've always just been fun. Like, I that's just my personality. I was like innately born to be like fun and bubbly. And I just kind of like, you know, even getting older, I don't think it is ever gonna go away. I don't know. I just I just love having fun. I love smiling.
SPEAKER_01Like it's just yes, and I feel like when you like em embody that energy, it makes everyone else around you embody it. It's like, why not be a sunshine in the room? So was volleyball always a part of the picture for you, or did you pick that up later, or did you know it was like your first love when you started playing?
SPEAKER_00Well, okay, so it's kind of like a fun story. I did cheer and dance from when I was like two to like eight. So I was doing cheer and dance, so that's kind of where my personality like really like started to show through and shine through, always cheering and dancing, and was like, yeah. And then when I was around like eight, my dad just like was talking about how like he didn't really like the girls who were like stepping on me in cheer, like because I was a back spot, and I was like kind of taller than everyone else, which is crazy because I'm short now, but yeah, so he wasn't really going for that, and so he was like, You need to try something else. And my mom just put me in volleyball, and I was like, I don't want to do volleyball, I want to do dance, and she forced me to do it, and then all of a sudden, like I just fell in love with it. Like, I would always hit the ball out like for the longest time until I was about like what 14. Every ball I hit would go out, and then all of a sudden one day kind of just got a little bit better and better, and just fell in love with it like instantaneously. It was it was kind of crazy. It's kind of a crazy story, like remembering how much I used to not like it, and then just like I don't know, things just change as you get older and yeah, you fall in love with things that you end up being good at. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01At what point did you realize and think to yourself, oh wait, I can take this to the next level if I really want to?
SPEAKER_00Um, probably around like 14, 15. Um after I left my club, my fifth after my 15s year, going into my 16s year, I realized that I really like wanted to take this as far as I could go with it. And you know, in 15, when you're 15, you don't really get to talk to college coaches, you just get to get like emails and stuff like that. Okay. Um, so it was definitely an experience. Like getting my first like little piece of paper, like of a college interested in me was really cool and like ex like exciting. So, you know, you kind of like want more of those to keep happening. So you just try to keep getting better and better. And when I was 16 and recruiting came, like that time came around, it it was awesome. It was a lot of love.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, you were a highly regarded prospect coming out of high school, but at 5'10, you're not necessarily what people picture when they think of an outside hitter for volleyball. Was that something that you use to your advantage? Almost like a chip on your shoulder of, hey, no, I can still play with the best of the best. Just give me a chance.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Originally, like whenever the doctor told me I'd be like five foot nine, um, yeah, they told me that when I was like about like what, 13? And I was literally crying. I was sobbing in the doctor's office, like so disappointed. Like, I didn't think any, like, I was just so distraught because my parents are both tall. My siblings are almost taller than me and they're 13. Like, I was very distraught. But, you know, my mom, she really like motivated me and helped me like realize that, like, hey, just because you're gonna be short doesn't mean you can't still like kick butt and like go take some names. So, you know, she really motivated me and like helped me like get into a better mental space and like more of like a comfortable space of being able to like use my height to my advantage and like use that to make me more of a star. And I think that really is just carried on throughout my career after my little cry sesh and all that stuff. And then my dad has this saying, he texts me before every game, it's ball hard like a small guard. He texts me up for every game. Um, yes, I know it's not volleyball related, but he loves to send me that text, and you know, I'm small, so you know, might as well just ball no might as well just ball out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So let's jump into your college career because you started your freshman year at SMU and you ended up earning ACC all-freshman honors. You accumulated seven double-digit kill performances, 175 kills, and you're getting experience against some of the best teams in the country. How much did that freshman season prove to you that you belonged at this level?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, um, honestly, going into freshman year, you don't really know what it's gonna be like, and you're in college, like everyone's older than you, bigger than you, stronger than you. And so you kind of just have to like go into it really confident and believing your training and what you've grown up doing your whole life. Um, so I don't know, go my first game that was pretty big was Louisville. That's when yeah, that's when I first got like my big opportunity, and I just had to go in really fearless. It was a crazy week going into it. Um, and then obviously one of my teammates got hurt and I had to like go in and make a difference. And I just was really courageous and just kind of went out and went for it. And whenever I just saw everything like come together and I was able to get a double double, like my first big game, I was like, you know what? This may not be too crazy, like of a long shot after all. So I know that really like helped boost my confidence, and I just kind of took it and ran with it and just continue to have that confidence throughout the rest of the season.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So I wanna I want to touch on a couple of big moments from that freshman season, like you mentioned. Your first career double double came in a five-set win at number four, Louisville. And later you put up 13 kills and six blocks and a win against number five, Stanford. What did playing in those environments against those teams teach you about the player that you were becoming before your eyes?
SPEAKER_00You know, playing in environments like that, they're really hostile. And, you know, I kind of learned that the more they kind of like taunt you, that means the better you are. I've learned that and the more hate you give is that means you're kind of that means you're good. So I kind of just use like those environments to like really boost my confidence. Like I really love chaotic environments. It's kind of weird. Like I love when people are yelling at you and like in your face. I think it just helps like build energy. And I'm like such a big energy person, so like I feed off like whatever energy is like in the crowd, like my teammates, everyone around me. So those environments definitely just like they they help for sure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there is something to be said about those road environments that just give you a little extra energy to go in there and dominate because, like, okay, you guys are wanting to talk to me. Fine, I'll show you what I got. I'll show you what I got on paper. That was a really successful freshman season. What was it that you were looking for when you decided, okay, now I want to go in the transfer portal and find a new home?
SPEAKER_00I was looking for an amazing coaching staff, and I think that's definitely what I found in Eve and Gavin and our whole entire staff. They are just so amazing. They've like honestly like took me as like the person I came in to be and tried like just develop me, like help me grow. Like they've not taken anything away from you or I said, You can't do this, can't do that. They've just been like, you can do whatever you want, and like in a way of like I can be whoever I want to be, get any accolades I want to like get. Like, they've just kind of like taken me in and just like allowed me to grow and honestly just saw an immediate fit with the program. So that coaching staff, just supporting and being willing to develop me, I think has been great, and that's what I was looking for. And like that's exactly what I've gotten. I mean, uh being a six-year-old kid is new for me in college at least. So developing and bringing me into that role and having no like sense of doubt in me, I think that was really amazing. And what I was looking for is people that were confident would believe in me throughout the whole way, and I think that's totally what I've gotten.
SPEAKER_01Well, Coach Rackham went when she announced that you were coming, she specifically talked about developing your total game. And you've said since arriving here that these coaches saw something in you that you maybe didn't see in yourself. What was it that they were telling you in those conversations early on about the player that they saw that you could be?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they basically just told me that they know that I have like a big arm. They know that I can hit the ball really hard, but they know there's so much, like there's so much more I can give to a team. They know that I can be good defensively, passing, blocking, back row attacking, which has become a really big part of my game as well. I didn't even know I could hit the back row attack as well as I can now. They've just get they just like pointed out so many parts of my game that they that we can just get better at and that um that we can add. And I think that was really like cool to see that I was like kind of not missing, but missing. I didn't know I could even have these like skills and abilities until I got here. And so being them just allowing me to like try it out and just really work with me throughout this whole season, entire process has been like really amazing. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01Was there one point in the offseason, whether it be the spring or the summer, that you did start to see what they were telling you previously come to fruition?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, for sure. I think there was a time in the spring. We were like working through the background attack, like I think we practiced like every day that week, and we just were like not really getting it, and it was just like not clicking. And then one day we were doing sixes, and Caroline sat me in the background, and then it was just like it was insane. Like, I I think I posted on my TikTok, it was like insane, and it was just like you know, when you finally get something you've been working so hard at, it's so like um I don't even know how to explain it, it just brings you so much joy, and so that moment I was like, this can really be something, and my coaches were like, This is gonna be like deadly. So, and me and Caroline, we just have like such an amazing relationship. So we both want to like win and we're both competitive. So, like we knew as soon as that was like we were like, this is gonna be something.
SPEAKER_01Right. It was just a matter of time before it clicked. Like you had put in all this work and this time and this energy and effort, and so you knew it was gonna pay off at some point. So it must have felt like a weight off your shoulders when you saw it happen in real time. Like, wait, did we just do that? Did that just happen? What is your relationship like with Caroline on the court? Being able to have that trust in your setter to be able to set you up for success on the court.
SPEAKER_00My relationship with Caroline is amazing. I love her down, like she's amazing. She's like one of the best, if not the best, setter in the country, in my opinion. Um like originally coming here, I don't know. You could just like hear like the desire to win and the desire to be great, like in her voice and in her tone. And that just immediately pulled me in, not to mention she's like amazing. She's like a baller. Um, but yeah, our relationship is amazing. She's super competitive. She believes so much in me. Like, it's kind of crazy, like to have like your teammate just believe in you almost sometimes more than I believe in myself. Like, if I mess up, hit the ball a little to the back wall. She's like, I'm giving it to you again. And I'm like, what? I literally just hit it out a lot, like a lot. She's like, no, I'm giving it to you again. You're gonna get a kill. And what do I do? Go get a kill. But it's like that relationship and that just like I don't know, we have a really strong connection, and you can just like kind of feel it when we're in the game. Like, I know when she's about to give me the ball, and I know I'm about to get a kill. So it's kind of just like, I don't know, it's innate. And it was really, it was, it was in I don't know, it was really inspiring, just like hearing her talk about like all the things like she wants to accomplish. So she just inspires me every single day. And yeah, I love her.
SPEAKER_01So it's special to have someone like that on the team in a veteran leadership role to be able to look up to, especially someone that you work so closely with on the court. Since coming here, you've been asked to be a true six rotation player, and you're not just being asked to terminate the ball at the net anymore. You're passing, serving, serve receiving, defending, and attacking on the back row. How different is your job now as a player compared to what it was a year ago?
SPEAKER_00Um, I would definitely say like the back row game. It's it's different. I mean, you're having like girls like Olivia Babcock, like the top players in the country hitting at you in the back row, and you're gonna have to sit there and dig it. Like you're gonna have to sit there and take all the heat that you're trying to dish out to them. So it's like it's way different. I don't know. It's been really fun to like be back there. I feel like defense kind of helps me work into my offense as well. So it's been really, it's been really cool. And then my serving, I think, you know, that was a really big part of my game that I wanted to develop when I got here. I feel like you know, you don't really see that many people tops and serving. So working on that tops and serve and getting it down like game by game, figuring it out still, because it is it's still like kind of new to like work into games and like pressure situations. But the just the background game, I think, has been really cool to see develop and finally like go into fruition. And then just also the leadership role, I think it's really been like um it's been different, but it's been like a lot more fun than I kind of expected it to be. It's you know, going into leadership roles on a different team, you kind of have like that like nervousness or like I don't know how the team's gonna perceive me. Right. Yeah, they've just been so welcoming and like understanding, and just we've all just like worked together and just no one's like bigger than anyone. We all work together, but we know like when things it's time to like get down to it, we all are gonna work hard and put our heads down and get to work. And the leadership role, I think, for me, it isn't like um, it isn't taken in a negative way. I think everyone responds very well, and it's just been working out really well.
SPEAKER_01I mean, that speaks so much to you and your character though, that your coaches want to bring you in as a sophomore, not even an upperclassman yet, and they see it in you and they know that the team is gonna respond well to your leadership and also encouraging that leadership from you because it was something that you are getting the experience for the first time. Um, was it something that you fell into really easily? Did you did you find it coming really naturally to you when you were asked to kind of step into that role?
SPEAKER_00I think growing up, I've kind of since my personality is very just like outward and bubbly and very energetic, I think kind of people gravitate to that. So, like growing up, that's kind of always a position like I've been in unintentionally. So, you know, hearing Eve tell me that she wants me to like completely go into that role, I think it was nice to hear. And you know, I I just accepted it. Like, you know, at times it's gonna be hard and times gonna be uncomfortable, but this is what you're here to do. And if your head coach is asking you to be a leader on the team, you're not gonna say no. You're gonna step up to the plate and step up to the table. And I think it it definitely was a challenge at first, but I think just going to the season, working on it from January to October, I think I made pretty big strides, and I think um we've come a long way for sure.
SPEAKER_01What has surprised you the most about this season so far?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Our like competitiveness is like insane. I just I never really feel like there's a time where this team is just like laying down, like and just taking any like any type of beating. Like we're gonna come for you, like regardless. And I think it's really nice to be on a team that no one settles for like anything less than greatness. Yeah. And I think it's kind of expected from each and every one of us that we want to be great and we all have the same goal in mind. So I think it's that's been really cool, and that's been really like nice to have. Like, you always want to be great. Everyone's always striving to get better. If we meet some goal here, we're like, hey, we gotta get better here. We always are trying to find somebody that can like give us the edge, and that's really cool.
SPEAKER_01I want to talk really quick, transition to just like you and your season so far. Because, girl, when you got here, you said hello world, I'm here. And I'm gonna make sure that you know I'm here. Yes. Because gosh, the numbers are kind of crazy, Kennedy. You're among the SEC leaders in kills and points per set, and you're also one of the most heavily used attackers in the country.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_01Are you aware of that? And if so, has it kind of sunk in as to like seeing yourself up amongst all the names of the greats in our game right now?
SPEAKER_00You know, I didn't like know that that was even a thing, really, until I got here and like after my first what was like month of being here, like I started seeing like people post like this stuff, and I was like, oh my gosh, like this is actually like a big deal. You know, being a sophomore, you don't really necessarily think you'll like be up there because there's so many girls older than you and who you've been watching on TV since you're little, so or like not little but younger and growing up in the game. So I think I don't know, sometimes it's still surreal. Like I'm like, oh my gosh, like this is incredible. But you know, I try not to let it like get to my head. I try to keep very yes, you know, but um no, it's it's a blessing. I don't even know. It's it's crazy. It's so surreal coming from like not being as recognized sometimes, like having all this recognition. And I don't know, it's it's really been cool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I think just also gives you the validation of like the hard work has been paying off at the very least, of being like, okay, girl, like you did that and you deserve that, and now we're gonna keep it moving. For sure. What I also thought was really cool though, in that list of the NCAA leaders, you I think you were you're somewhere in the six, seven range, and everyone above you, juniors and seniors, it's like, girl, that is so amazing. I just had to give you your flowers. That's amazing. There's definitely a difference in knowing that you can be a major contributor and then coming out and showing that every single night. At what point in this season did you realize, okay, this isn't just a hot start that I'm on? This is actually the player that I've become.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, we kind of talked about it at the beginning that I would be a big like part of like our team. And um, I think just going into the games and then actually seeing it happen, like I'm gonna get 50 balls a game and I'm gonna have to put a lot of them away. And I think early on I saw that and I kind of just realized very quickly that we're gonna need some efficiency and we're gonna have to like balance each other out. So I mean, yeah, being a big contributor is is definitely like it's fun. It's a lot of you know, praise and it's also a lot of work that comes with it. So I think learning how to balance, like, you know, getting a lot of kills, being smart, and just working on my entire game as a whole. I think with having a lot of those balls and being a big contributor, I think I've learned a lot of things about myself and a lot of things about being a big contributor and all those things. So it's been good. It's been really good.
SPEAKER_01We've got to talk about that Penn State match too, because oh my goodness, you guys are going on the road in a hostile environment against the number nine team in the country. And you get the job done and you get it done in four sets. And you in particular had 21 kills and 10 digs. What did you learn about what this team was capable of through that performance?
SPEAKER_00I saw so much grit and so much love for each other. I mean, we were just like willing to like go to battle for each other, and I think that's so unique. You don't really file that on teams where you're just like willing to do anything for the person next to you and your teammates. And I think we were just willing to go out there and put on like a show. Like we were just willing to go out there and dominate no matter who was in our way. We were gonna go through them and run through them. So I think um just we worked really, we worked really hard up until that point and ending the non-con 9-in-one, I think that was a big challenge and testament to how we were gonna go into this season. And I think we we did, we did what we came in there to do. So I think just working together, we showed, we showed some resilience for sure.
SPEAKER_01You personally have accumulated five double doubles this season. What does Kennedy Rogers do at 5'10 that makes you seem bigger and larger than life at 5'10?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I've been really blessed to have like a very strong arm, very strong arm. Um, and I think, you know, having a big arm means that the ball comes back when you get blocked faster. And I've learned that. I've seen that a couple of times. Um, but no, I've learned to um see the block a little bit better, use my vision. You know, being shorter kind of gives you sometimes an advantage. Like you can see like people's hands and bodies like a little bit like earlier and sooner. So I think I've learned to like use my height to my advantage, and like people are going over you. So hey, you have to, you can go up. You can go up because you're already on your way up. So you can use their hands because they're already over you, go up. But no, I just also worked on my vertical. I've just worked on a lot of things, like gave me an advantage over people who are like six five. So um, I think just working on those and really being like diligent about them and using my vision, using my shots, and not just having to rely strictly on my arm, I think have given me a big advantage at being like 5'10.
SPEAKER_01One thing that you couldn't fully understand until you got here was the support of Vault Nation. I mean, to have over 9,000 fans show up for that Texas match the other week is incredible and incredible for the game as well. What have you experienced so far from this fan base? And what has that love and support meant to you?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't know. Like, I've me personally, I've just gained like a bunch of followers and like have a gotten a lot of messages about like um just how much of like an inspiration I am. And I was just like, I'm surprised because I don't know. Sometimes you don't realize your like impact on people until like you get like those messages, and like I've received like mail and all this stuff, and it just it honestly like touches my heart. I didn't realize sometimes like you know what you do just like gives other people hope. And there were girls like giving me mail that were like five eight and five seven, and they're like, How do you be good? And like I don't know, like those little things, it just it warms my heart and it just makes me want to work harder and continue to be great because it gives other people like the ability and like to be able to see someone else doing it. I think um really inspires people. Like I had one, her name was Lekitar Member Membe, I think it was. She plays um, I forget where she plays. She plays on a protein, but she's shorter than me, and she's insane, like literally insane. And so, like having like those little role models for you, I think are a big part of the game and are a big part of like why people continue to like grow up and want to be like these girls. And so I think um the love and like just the way people have like talked about me and talked to me, like and like when we do signing papers and all that stuff, it's been really great. It's been really, it's been really special to me, honestly. So I I've loved it and it's been like just it's been amazing to feel and see.
SPEAKER_01I think that's one thing about coming to Tennessee, being a lady vol that student athletes realize really quickly is that you guys do have a different kind of platform when you come here and seeing it on full display with these girls messaging you and wanting advice and seeing you as an inspiration is I mean, you're what 19, 20 years old? It's just like wait, me? Like really? It's it's gotta make your heart just feel really warm. Very special. Very special. All right, let's talk real quick about where this team is sitting at. So far, because Tennessee has a record of 10 and 3. You guys picked up some big non-conference wins against number 21, Indiana, and number nine Penn State. But let's be real, this conference is quite a beast. And so far through SEC play, you guys are sitting at one and two. But you've got some good competition coming in here Friday and Sunday with Ole Miss and LSU to hopefully get some momentum back, get the ball rolling, and pick up a couple wins. What's the biggest thing that you guys need to see out of the team right now to kind of get things on the right track?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, kind of just like you said, finding our group, finding um, you know, just continue to like go off of like who we are as a team. We're very competitive. We have a lot of slag, a lot of energy when we play, a lot of feistiness. And I think, you know, going to conference, you're gonna have to keep that the whole way through. Even with losses, you know, we're one and two, but you know, who cares? We still have opportunity to continue to be great, continue to take really big, um, important wins. And I think just continue to have that motivation that no matter what, no matter if you lose, no matter if we win, just keep having that same end goal of you wanna win the SEC, we can still win it in the SEC um tournament. We still have opportunities. And so no matter what, just continue to have like um and our keep our identity. And I think being strong in that, I think is gonna really help us.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because there's still a lot more season to play. Like you're mentioning, hey, we we're good, we're chilling. Yes. So, real quick, because I know I have to get you out of here like now. Um, I know though that reality TV, you love it. You're gonna have a show one day. It's gonna be called Keeping Up with Kennedy. Thank you. Incredible, and I can't wait to be like a die rider die follower from the very beginning. But I want to ask some rapid fire reality TV questions as it pertains to like the team. If we were to like take a crew with you right now.
SPEAKER_00If y'all want to, y'all can, by the way. Like we're ready.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just like let her know. Follow her on Instagram, it's in her DM. Who on the Tennessee volleyball team immediately becomes a reoccurring character in your show?
SPEAKER_00Nia. Nia is always there during everything.
SPEAKER_01She's always who would get the villain edit? Not because they are.
SPEAKER_00Ooh, probably like McKinsey.
SPEAKER_01Probably McKinsey. Who would be the fan favorite?
SPEAKER_00Um, it'd probably be like, well, probably be me. Let's be fair. It'd be me. And then it'd probably be like um Annie. Annie or Jade. They'd probably like get like the fan favorite.
SPEAKER_01Who do you think would be the one uh stirring up the pot?
SPEAKER_00Um, probably be me. I probably would be messy. I can't lie. And then it'd probably be like Jade too. Yeah. Two together. Jade, yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_01And who on the team would hate every second of having a reality TV show came or career round?
SPEAKER_00Ooh, probably Morgan. She would get really awkward.
SPEAKER_01She would be like, Maiden, not me.
SPEAKER_00Like Morgan, you're on TV. You can't be awkward. We have to wait.
SPEAKER_01Like, let's have some fun here. Okay, well, I need to get you out of here, but real quick, thank you so much for the time, Kennedy. You are an absolute star. I cannot wait to see what you do the rest of the season. The Lady Evolves are so special, and you are a special part of that team. Good luck the rest of the way. And we're excited to see, gosh, what you do the next couple of years here, too.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much. Thank you guys for having me. I've really enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_01Thanks so much, y'all, for tuning in to another episode of the Everything Orange podcast. We absolutely loved getting to know Kennedy better off the court just as much as we've seen all of her success on the court this season. They have a volleyball match tonight at 7 p.m. in the Food City Center. So come on out if you're local or tune in to watch the Lady Evolve try to put up another win in SEC conference play. As always, be sure to keep up with us on all of our social platforms, including utsports.com, for all the latest updates for all of our athletic programs.
