This is Equip the Next, and you're listening to another episode of Faith Fuel, where I provide quick encouragement for bold living. Ever feel nervous about getting deceived by false teachers? You don't want to miss this. That can be a very hard load, but I just want to encourage you that God is not the God doesn't give you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of sound mind. You don't have to live in fear. God's word is the anchor. And his spirit gives you discernment. And when you stay rooted in him, you'll spot the counterfeit. And you won't feel guilty if you don't want to listen to him. Like you will just it's okay. You'll pray for them. Hopefully they'll, you know, that that's if that's where God leads you to. But I don't want you to feel powerless. Or maybe perhaps you feel overwhelmed. Because if you're on social media, if you're on YouTube or whatever, there's just a lot of stuff out here. And you might feel like, how do I know that they're saying what they're saying is right? I want to assure you that we all make mistakes. We all make mistakes. What you want to look for is their posture, their fruit. That's a big indic indicator right away. And I'm not talking about, say, somebody has a bad day. I'm talking about their fruit. I'm talking about their lifestyle, their behavior, how they talk to you. What they those are just some some ways in which you can tell. And when they're talking about the word, are they pointing to themselves or are they pointing you to Christ? I heard a man of God say this. I don't know who he is, but I heard him say this. And um because this guy was giving his testimony about how he got saved and delivered, and um he was saying how there was no judgment, and the man of God was like, Yeah, I don't, I'm not responsible for your sins. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna carry your sins. That's your sin. That was just really profound to me because it just shows how he released himself from that burden because he knew that his assignment and his job was just to love you and teach you, doesn't mean he's gonna agree with your sin. And it doesn't mean people are gonna agree with what you do. But their job is to disciple and point you to Christ so that you can hopefully effectively disciple others, your family, your friends, one person. You don't have to have a pulpit. It starts with your family first anyway. That's the key. So I I just wanted to encourage you that don't feel nervous about getting deceived. Instead, get an anchor in God's word. And then that way, you'll have a a radar kind of thing. You're not there, it's not there for you to nitpick Bible dump or just, you know, again, nitpick every little thing. Oh, they didn't say this correctly. No, it's looking at the character and the fruit. We can't judge their heart, but we can judge them by their fruit. It takes the guesswork out. I feel like a lot of people hold on to unnecessary weights. Give it to God. Allow him to lead you. Trust that he will give you discernment. Pray in the areas that you're weak in, and trust the process and have faith in that area. Listen, that's it. That's today's faith fuel. Remember, grow in God's word and lead boldly.
