53. Anticipate Your Obstacles & Manifest those DREAMS!

Hi There, welcome to this week's episode of The Universe Is Your Friend!

This week I'm talking all about anticipating your obstacles to give yourself a huge advantage when chasing your dreams!

Obstacles... We all have em. We all hate em. It's life isn't it? But let me ask you this, why are we so afraid of acknowledging the problems we may face throughout our journey? We try so hard to turn a blind eye and act distracted as if we're seeing a work colleague down the isle at the grocery store.

Recently, I've been taking a different approach and let me tell you... It's been a GAME CHANGER. So today, I am taking you through my 3 step process to anticipating your obstacles.

Step 1: Identify them (label them)
This step is simple, identify what your potential obstacles actually are. Obstacles are things that we may encounter along our journey to our dream (the dream body, the thriving business, the trip to Fiji) that have the potential to throw us off course or shake our dedication. It's important when anticipating your obstacles to choose ones that you're actually worried about. Things that you're anticipating that would rock your confidence, potentially throw you off course or make you question your decision to chase the dream. It's also important to identify obstacles that are likely; we do not need to prepare for every single problem that could every possibly exist in our life EVER. To finish this step off, I want you to label your obstacle - What is it (other people's criticism) and why does it exist (because they are projecting their fears onto me). I give some examples throughout the episode that will help you through each step.

Step 2: Create the solution
If you encounter this obstacle, what will you actually do to solve it? This step is so important because it puts you back into your power and raises your vibes. We spend so much time silently stressing about the bumps in the road but we still walk into them unprepared. WHY DO WE DO IT? Now, we are taking time to create the solutions, so that you can confidently walk straight up to obstacles with your head high, knowing exactly what to do.

Step 3: Make a plan
This step is all about creating a plan to stay mentally strong and fierce before, during and after encountering your obstacles. We all know what it feels like to face a big, scary thing. Even when we kick ass and take names, we can feel mentally exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure afterwards. Your thoughts start racing, you analyse everything you said and did, you naturally question if you're doing something wrong or if it's worth it to keep pushing forward only to inevitably encounter a similar thing again. So we're making a plan that will help us to stay mentally strong, firm in our decisions, excited and high-vibe about our dream and determined to keep going!
