This week we speak to Ruchita and find out how she found herself starting and making a success of Masala Masters

 Key Takeaways

What is happiness - when you answer this question, try and be honest and stay true to yourself! If your not truly happy with how you spend your time, then make a change!

Take any training / learning experiences on - even if you don’t see it as your forever job, you never know when you may use those skills in the future!

If you aren’t academic then its not the end of the world - Focus on how you can use your skills and talents to demonstrate how awesome you are!

Shout about what you are doing! - I know it is hard to self promote your skills or business, but no one else is going to do it for you. A group that has helped me to improve in this area is the SoPro group. Run by Donna Phillips and Maureen Kane, the group helps you to improve your exposure and support you with creating more effective marketing using social media.

Don’t overlook the basics -  As Ruchita explained, it is so important to learn the basics, so make sure you invest the time in learning what you may consider the simple things before you seek out more advanced training.

Expect slow progression, not success overnight! – it is easy to give up when we don't see that overnight success. Remember to be patient and keep making those small improvements and try not to panic if you don't see success overnight.
