On this episode Korinna is chatting to Kate McGuire, a British ‘refashion’ designer, influencer on Insta at convertedcloset and sustainable fashion activist, featured in far too many fashion publications to list.

About Kate McGuire

Renowned for upcycling or ‘converting’ preowned clothes into new & original couture pieces, Kate’s designs are seen on the global fashion stage, from New York Fashion Week to the Oscars, Grammys and BAFTAs. Queen of style Sarah Jessica Parker wore many of her designs as the iconic Carrie Bradshaw in the seconds And Just Like That!

At the time of recording, she’s back from speaking at a UN global First Ladies luncheon. Kate is challenging the status quo and showing how low-impact fashion will take its place at the heart of the fashion-forward sustainable future. As the planet gets hotter, upcycling gets cooler and Kate is at the forefront of the movement, proving that our old clothes really can become the desirable ‘new’ clothes of the future.
