Hi, I am Marilisa Lawless. I'm here to give you an update on what we are doing with our business. Business is. We are a family-owned veteran-owned business. We've been in business for 35-ish years. We have had to change with the times. Part of what we're doing is that we have all of these different components of who we are in the healing community. Our original base is the transformation project. My sister and I now, my mother was a part of it and has since passed on. We're family therapists. She's also a psychologist who does something called psychodrama, amazing. And we have over the years had to, we have to move with the times.

Expanding Beyond Traditional Therapy

So in 2018, we opened up a CBD store as another adjunct to healing to help people do something prior to trying pharmaceuticals by using this supplement. It's not a drug. A lot went on, and we've shifted even from that because I've always been connected to energy. So even in the 90s, I was a trained hypnotherapist. I've been a substance abuse specialist, my sister as well. There's so many things that we've done, and yet we don't really talk about it. We haven't moved into the 21st century, so this is our attempt. We are moving into the 21st century. We realize that we have our crystals. So we have crystals del Sol. We have the hemp. We have hemp del Sol. We've started reaching out to people that are out of the state. And by doing that, we've created our coaching business. So we have Lawless Coaching 1111.

Rebranding For The 21st Century

When we've sat down to try and figure out what are we doing, we've had to rebrand ourselves. We're trying to come up with a new name. We're always open to input, but what we've got right now is Lawless Energy and Healing Roots. Because at the end of the day, it is our roots as healers, as family therapists, and working with the community. And it's been our community. We've been in Davy for 35 years. We're still here in Davy. It's local, but with the advent after COVID, we were able to start doing things on Zoom. So it's allowed us to reach out to a bigger audience, a bigger, just a bigger group of people that are interested in what we do. So right now, our roots are the lawless, energy and healing roots.

Moving up, this tree has many branches like apples. And some apples fell and rolled away, but some have sprouted new life. So we also offer different things around mediumship, which is connecting with our ancestors, people on the other side. Psychic ability, psychic development, really listening to our intuition and allowing it to guide some of the decisions that we make. We have so many different practitioners here in our office that do all of these different types of energy healing. We have a Reiki Circle, which is Japanese energy healing. That's been here twice a week for the past year and a half, almost two years. There's so many things that we offer here, and it's time for us to branch out, to get ourselves out there, to let you know that we are ready and able to accept almost anything that the world has the ability to throw at us. We're just moving one step at a time. We're on all the social media platforms, I have my podcast, and we're in the process of rebranding that as well. We are rebranding, and I know it's a word that many people talk about or say, you hear it in the business world, but we really do have to move into this age where electronics are a lot of what everybody's doing. So while we're still doing our crystals, we're still doing all this grounding work, the psychodrama in itself is very grounding. We're doing all these things to keep people grounded, safe, and the ability to explore the things that are going on inside. And it's important for us to just start to put it out there so that we're not just a local homegrown group, we are a group that is reaching out to the world. We have a tarot reader here, Joelle Di Benedetto. She's the Mystic Reader. She has a following internationally, she talks with people all over the world. My sister, Melinda Lawless Coker, is a doctor. She also has clients all over the world. So the benefit that has happened since the 2020s have begun is that we now have the technology to reach people everywhere. Anywhere there's internet, we can reach you.
