This week, we sit down with the Owner and President of Morton’s Gourmet Market, Todd Morton. Not only is this high level market a staple in Sarasota, it still maintains that “neighborhood market” appeal. We get into Todd’s story of how he reacquired the family business after moving around the U.S., and how the family name still donned the building, even after they sold it.
The guys also talk with Todd about the infamous Chili Cookoff which goes to benefit the local firefighters in the community. While the date hasn’t been locked down just yet, you can rest assured it is coming this fall. Of course, the guys always bring the convo back to the community, getting Todd’s thoughts on all the roundabouts popping up across town, and we send him through the Rapid Fire Gauntlet.
