Nelward is a very cool musician that I've been admiring from a distance for years now. For a long while he was the number one artist in the "Fans also like" category of the Basic Printer Spotify page. Additionally, I can't even count the amount of comments I've gotten where people said "This sounds like Nelward" or jokingly called me "Nelward 2" (and this is something I find hella endearing).

Nelward has been booking his first ever full band headlining shows, and for his first out of town show with this setup, he looked 4 hours north of Atlanta towards Nashville, TN. Being the resident Gloitchpopper in town, obviously I raised my hand to help him book a show here - and voila, we managed to snag a date at DRKMTTR - specifically Friday, 12/5/2025.

In celebration of the show, we had a cozy interview to talk about fucked up dreams, Nintendo, and what it sounds like to mash up Pharrell with Radiohead.
