The Wild Goddess
Welcome to The Wild Goddess — a podcast for the woman who knows there’s more to her story.
Hosted by Kayleigh, Story Priestess, Goddess Guide, and myth-loving truth-teller, this is a space where ancient wisdom meets modern reclamation.
Each episode invites you into the deep — exploring goddess mythology, folklore, voice reclamation, cycles of feminine power, and the beautiful, messy art of becoming who you really are.
If you're walking through a season of surrender, standing at the edge of your next becoming, or simply craving deeper truth in a surface-level world — you're in the right place.
Expect mythic storytelling, soul-stirring reflections, raw honesty, and a bold invitation to live, speak, and rise more wildly than ever before.
Your story is sacred. Let’s remember it together.

Ep 49 - The Hedgerow Folk of September Eve: A Modern Faerie Tale
This week’s Folklore Friday is something a little different — a story written by me.
Inspired by my love of hedgerows, my fascination with the fae folk, and my heartbreak at seeing litter tangled in the countryside, this tale is both a modern fairytale and a reminder of the magic that still stirs at the edges of our world.
✨ Inside this episode:
- A short original story, The Hedgerow Folk of September Eve, where fairies awaken at dusk to dance, feast, and sing beneath the moon.
- A reflection on how our ancestors once honoured the fae, the land, and the unseen beings woven into folklore.
- A closing poem — the original form this tale arrived in — shared as an incantation of remembrance.
This is not a retelling of an old myth, but a new story — a piece of modern fae folklore, written to reawaken our connection with the magic of the land and to remind us: the hedgerow folk are still here, still waiting, still watching.
