In the old wood beyond Ashmere, where roots whisper and the air remembers, a spaniel named Oban discovers a friendship that will change his life.

When Oban begins to follow the quiet pull of Elderwood instead of the easy games of the meadow, the other dogs grow uneasy. Fear of the unknown leads them to trap Old Mossback, the ancient Rootkeeper of the wood, forcing Oban to decide whether he will shrink himself to fit in… or walk the path that calls him.

With the guidance of a few friends and the help of strange woodland beings, Oban must choose courage over comfort and truth over approval.

This is a folkloric inspired wisdom tale about intuition, belonging, fear, and the quiet strength it takes to remain rooted in who you truly are.

If you have ever felt different, too intuitive, too sensitive, too much then this story is for you.
