Speaker 1:So I've been working on some things and I want to come back with a little bit of a different message, because today I want to talk to y'all about the importance of taking care of your physical health. I am on a mission, y'all, to not only take care of myself, but to make sure you all are taken care of as well. It is so important that you take care of your physical body, that you take care of what you need to take care of so you can live long and be prosperous. In the name of Jesus, it is so vitally important that you take care of yourself and do what you need to do. You know, a lot of times, if the devil sees a lot of us, you know you're not going to be taken out with sin. You're not going to be out there sleeping around. You're not going to be out there getting drunk, getting high. You're not going to be out there cussing. You're not gonna be out there doing some of those things. You're not going to do that. But if the devil could take you out by raising your blood pressure, by not exercising, by not eating well, by not whatever it might be, oh my goodness, he'll do it. And you know what. This is the reality you will still go to heaven. You'll just get there a lot quicker. So I'm going to talk to you about that in just a little bit.
Speaker 1:But the first thing I want to jump into is the whole thing with the presidential election. Y'all man, there is so much going on in the world when it comes to that, and it's crazy. This is going to be a wild ride between now and November, and one of the things that I think that is so important, ladies and gentlemen, is that we do not develop a messiah complex with these presidents and vice presidents and people that are running. We see President Joe Biden that chose to step out of the opportunity to be reelected. Now we see Vice President Kamala Harris trying to step her game up. We see what's going on with President Trump, and I wanted to take a minute because I know it's been a moment, but I wanted to take a minute because I am definitely, definitely disappointed in the speech that was given during the Republican National Convention. Very disappointed with President Trump's speech. In my opinion, he had an opportunity to have the world eating out of his hand. He had an opportunity to give a speech like a Winston Churchill would have given that Franklin Delano Roosevelt would have given Theodore Roosevelt an FDR speech. It could have been anything and he went in the direction that he went, and we are right back where we were.
Speaker 1:I remember back in 2016, when we had President Trump and Senator Clinton Hillary Clinton running. Then I was wondering how in the world, what are we supposed to pick here? How are we supposed to pick and pick something that's going to be a blessing to us and help us get to where we need to be? Now? Let me say this it is important. I want somebody in office that is going to cater to our values. So I tell people all the time it's important to know you want somebody in that position that is going to support the church. It is important and what our beliefs are on marriage and what our beliefs are on gender and what our beliefs are concerning abortion I mean, y'all know how we feel in regards to that.
Speaker 1:My wife and I have a pregnancy center. It's something that God has called us to do and, as a matter of fact, we've got our gala coming up August 4th. So excited about it, got David B Wright coming in Phenomenal speaker. We cannot wait. This is an opportunity for people to buy into our vision and help us. You have to realize there are no grants and things on that line that help us. We've got to raise all of our funds. And a big shout out to any of our people out there that are partnering with us and sponsoring us. We so appreciate you all. You're what keeps us going. If it wasn't for you, babies would continually be killed on our watch. But because of you and if you haven't ever chosen to subscribe with us and join with us sponsor, partner, however you want to put it. Please go to voicesfortheunbornorg and take a moment and just become a partner with Voice for the Unborn. You're partnering with a great ministry.
Speaker 1:In three years, ladies and gentlemen, we have gone from nothing, literally a rebuild of a building, a build out rather of a building. We went and we have saved, now, I think, coming up on 70 babies we have. I've had the opportunity, alongside my wife, to emcee the Pennsylvania March for Life. Then I had the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at the Philadelphia March for Life. I've emceed pro-life events. I've been asked to speak at different events. We've been saving babies, we've got a television show. All of this in just three years.
Speaker 1:But it's because of your sponsoring us, it's because of your partnership, it's because of your willingness to so that we can do what it is that we do. So I want to appreciate all of you. $50 a month, $100 a month, a one-time gift, whatever it all helps us to continually keep saving the lives of the unborn. Which leads me to why I'm talking about the presidential election. We need people in office that are going to help us do the job that God's called us to do. The Bible says when the righteous rule, the people rejoice when the wicked rule, the people mourn. Now, I'm not calling any of these people righteous per se, but what I'm saying is that if they are leaning towards the things of God, if they're leaning towards pro-Israel, if they're leaning towards pro-life, if they're leaning towards these things, these are things that we ought to consider.
Speaker 1:Coming into the election and I really felt bad. President Trump was within a millimeter of literally having his head blown off and God spared his life. And I'm, leading up to this Republican National Convention, I'm thinking in my mind what an opportunity for him to be able to bridge the aisle, republican and Democrat. I even saw people on CNN talking about okay, let's see what he's going to do now. When President Trump got shot and it took off part of his ear he drops to his knees the Lord began to reveal to me that this was an opportunity for him to humble himself and that, if he would go low, notice what happened. Secret service came and covered him and protected him, and when he got up, those situations are meant to change us.
Speaker 1:I've seen a lot of correlation between him and Nebuchadnezzar, who is still with a lot of pride, and how he continually began to boast and, as a result. Finally, the Bible says that he was eating or walking around like an animal. His nails grew out long like an eagle's tail. I think it was the illustration. I mean, he was a mess because God had humbled him and I was praying that he was going to be different. Uh, that, for the sake of America, I never had a Messiah complex with him or anything on none of them. Uh, I don't believe none of that. But the reality is we are going to have people in office that are going to be ruling and reigning in that position, and so we want to make sure that we pray for the right men and women.
Speaker 1:So, uh, but when he gave that speech and then he went in on Crooked Hillary and and all the stuff with what crazy Nancy Pelosi and all these things I was looking at said man, what an opportunity to show everybody that you've changed, to bridge the aisle, you can still do great things without having to call names and things along that line and to perpetuate more violence and animosity and tension that we just don't need in this time. And so I really felt bad that he was not able to really give a speech. That I mean because, think about it. People are moved with compassion when you see CNN people getting on there saying, ok, let's see what happens. My goodness, cnn does not like President Trump at all. They report everything about him and they said, ok, he said he's going to rip up his speech and he's going to step in here and be a whole different person and, as we see, it didn't take long. He was back at it. For me the speech was way too long, but it is what it is. So we just have to continue to keep praying for protection for him, protection for Kamala Harris, protection over senators.
Speaker 1:This is about the soul of our nation. I believe that we are literally in a window of time. Something big is coming of time. Something big is coming One of the things that you know I'm going to get into later on but the Lord impressed something upon my spirit. I was with my father about a week ago, a little less than, and we were talking one night and the Lord dropped something in my spirit about where we are in America and I was thinking. The Bible says that Jesus said, before he comes back, that the days would be like now watch this. The days would be like Sodom and Gomorrah, the days of Lot and the days of Noah, three correlations that Jesus gives at the end times would look like when he's about to return. And I was talking to my father and, all of a sudden, you ever had one of those moments where it just comes alive in you and this revelation just came alive in my spirit and man. I said, wow, this is what the Lord showed me and I want you to see this. I believe that America, the world, is in this week. Let me say it like this I believe God could come back at any moment, any second and at any time. He could literally come back right now. It just matters and is determined by what the church is going to do, what the world is going to do, what the church is going to do, what the world is going to do. We are in this window where I believe, even though the day and the time God has already chosen, there is a window of what it could be now. It could be in five years. God could choose to extend it based upon whatever's getting ready to happen. Why do I say this? Now, watch, jesus said it'll be like the days of Lot. Now, watch Jesus said it'll be like the days of Lot, the days of Noah, sodom and Gomorrah.
Speaker 1:All three of those correlations have one thing in particular in common they were all unredeemable. Sodom and Gomorrah. They sent the gospel in. They sent in angels to preach, to bring people out. Abraham was interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah. They sent in the angels, the angels. That's why, when Abraham was praying, the angels then went in and said all right, if I find 10 righteous I'll spare the city Could not find anybody that wanted to be redeemed. Matter of fact, the angels that were there meant to preach grace and the gospel to them. What did they do? They wanted they were. The men said bring those angels in that we may have our way with them. So they wanted to molest and degrade and rape the very angels that were sent to help them escape the corruption and the destruction that was coming as a result of their corruption.
Speaker 1:And then I was thinking about man. You have the days of Lot, which were Sodom and Gomorrah. Then you have the days of Noah. Noah was when the Nephilim had made giants in the land with the women. They left their normal habitation you see Peter talking about it, you see it in the book of Jude. And they left their natural habitation. There were Peter talking about it, you see it in the book of Jude and they left their natural habitation. There were giants in the land, the Nephilim and, as a result, they were unredeemable. And what happened? The Bible says that Noah found grace in the sight of God and, as a result, what do we have here? The ark hits. He builds the ark, they escape. I was thinking he builds the ark and they escape. I was thinking about. I said wow, we are in a day and in an hour. We need to pray that the church is salt and light and we need to pray that Lord, that there would be 10 righteous Lord, that there would be somebody that would call upon the name of the Lord, that we would not continue down this path. And because I thought about, I was like man. Now you have to remember something Before the rapture comes, there has to be two brides.
Speaker 1:There's a pseudo church, ladies and gentlemen, that is coming up right now. There is a pseudo church that is coming up and I hope that y'all are getting this right now. There's a pseudo church, a fake church. There is a antichrist being developed, and what I mean by that? A bride for the antichrist that is being developed. There's a pseudo church, a fake church, a false church that is even going to have, I believe, the name of Jesus attached to it. That's why there's so much of a battle right now. Oh, wait a minute, he gets us all these things.
Speaker 1:People don't realize there's a morphing of the message of the gospel. The Bible talks about how, in the end, there would be another gospel that would come up. We're seeing that. Why is this important? That's why we're seeing the hot get hotter, the cold to get colder. There's a separation between the pseudo church and the real church. That's the reason why holiness is still going to be the right way. It's not going to be a people that are compromised. It's not going to be a people that are saying it's okay to have same-sex marriage, it's going to be okay to change your gender, it's okay to do all that. That's going to be the pseudochurch is going to be okay with those things. Then the real church is going to say no, this is what the Bible says and that's what's happening.
Speaker 1:The Bible says that they would be given over to strong delusion the pseudo church, because they rejected the truth. They rejected it, even homosexuality. They read in Romans, chapter one. It was because they rejected the truth. They knew it was. God said I don't want God and, as a result, that's what took place Now. Mind you, that's what happened in the days of Noah, that's what happened in the days of Lot, that's what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah. Mind you, that's what happened in the days of Noah, that's what happened in the days of Lot, that's what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah.
Speaker 1:We are there right now. I believe we are in a window of time. I don't know how long that time is, but there is either going to be the 10 righteous that are going to be spared, there's 10 that are right, and I'm not talking about that. There isn't righteous in the church. I'm talking about two that are willing to be redeemed or watch this the church is going to be raptured, and then this pseudo-church is that's being prepared for the Antichrist.
Speaker 1:Because, see, that's the thing we're seeing. We're looking at the degradation of the moral fabric of our society, the spiritual fabric of our society. It's totally deteriorating, even in the church itself. In a lot of ways is deteriorating the message of it, and I'm not saying that all are. You can see, the impact is lessening. The great falling away is happening. Every time I turn around, I'm hearing of somebody else that is falling, that is turning away from the faith, that is leaving the things of God, that is choosing to walk away from what they know. Just heard of a situation it's gone viral with Kim Burrell apologizing to the LGBTQ community for what she has said about their lifestyle, and that's catching a lot of attention, and so we're looking at all of these things and there's a pseudo church which is being prepared for the Antichrist and there is the real church, and the real church needs to stand up and declare the truth Because, listen, the reality of the judgment of those that are hearing the truth now, that will be here when the Antichrist shows up, is that they will be given over to strong delusion because they chose not to believe the truth. They chose that. It's not that they well, I needed to hear the gospel. No, they heard the gospel I was listening to.
Speaker 1:Oh, my goodness, I can't remember her name right now Candace something, and if you look her up online, you know her. I'm sorry maybe it'll come back to me in just a minute, but she was having an interview with Don Lemon and she was going after him and saying he asked Am I a sinner Because of what I'm, what I'm doing and what I'm living? And she said yes, you are. You are in sin as a result. I want to find her name Because I want you to know and you could check it out yourself. Let me look here, candace Owens. I'm sorry, there it is, candace Owens. I want to make sure I had that right, candace Owens, and if you get a chance, check it out.
Speaker 1:And so he knew what the Bible said. He knew that and she's telling him and he wants nothing to do with it. What do you do with that? That is a people that can become unredeemable. I don't care, I'm going to live what I'm going to live. I'm going to do what I'm going to do, and there's no place for it. That's what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah. God said listen, I want to redeem y'all. But he went in he couldn't in order to have their way with them. That was their saving grace.
Speaker 1:This is where we are and I thought about I was, like you can see, in our society, where it's continually eroding and we need to be praying that there either be a reformation or there's going to be a rapture. I believe that with all of my heart it's on this path and the prayer is Lord, help us to be salt, help us to be light, help us to preach the gospel, help us not to compromise, help us to stand strong. Lord, let us preach it and Lord, may the hearts of people be open to receive it. God. Otherwise, I believe we are getting very dangerously close for the world, but gloriously close for the church of the return of Jesus Christ. One of the two things has to happen. We can, can you imagine what our society would look like 20 years from now, outside of some type of reformation and revival, some type of awakening that there has to be something and when? If an awakening hits, which we pray that it does, the reality is is that it's going to change the fabric.
Speaker 1:But God wanted to bring an awakening to Sodom and Gomorrah. They didn't want it. God opened up the ark to everybody. The Bible says Noah preached for 120 years. Nobody wanted it. Nobody wanted it. And so, as a result, god allowed it to happen. We are in that day. We are in that day, we are in that hour, and I thought about it. I was like, wow, what? What Jesus said to be like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the days of Lot, and I said, god, what do they have in common? None of them were redeemable. Not that they. Christ was out, they were outside of the reach of Christ. When I say they weren't redeemable, they were not open. They had the truth, they had the revelation, they had the knowledge. They were not open. They were not open. And it's a sad reality.
Speaker 1:When we see the church in a lot of major name speakers, a lot of people in the church, you see some people just pulling away from the faith. The Bible says that the love of many will wax cold in Matthew 24, because iniquity would abound. Keep yourself unspotted from the world, walk uprightly, walk holy. Why? Because it is so deceptive and the less that the church carries the light, the more easy it is to be deceived. But the more that we shine bright, the more that we are salt, the more that we can see people redeemed.
Speaker 1:But my concern is that my prayer is God, may we find 10 righteous. God, may we find, not the church, because the church will be raptured out, just like Abraham was brought out, just like Lot was brought out. But the reality is there's still a whole world out there. He was brought out so God could bring to them what needed to be brought. Well, I don't want to see that happen to America. I want to see America revived. I want to see an awakening. I want to see it happen. But the reality is we need to pray that the hearts of people will be open and ready to receive what's going on in the world. Ladies and gentlemen, so I'm going to be talking about that, maybe a little bit more, but there's so much that God's been putting into my spirit about that and I started saying man, we need to really understand what it was like.
Speaker 1:In Sodom and Gomorrah, and with Lot and with Noah, all of these people, there was sexual sin like never before and they were not open to being redeemed. It wasn't that they couldn't have been redeemed, they were not open to. It is critical. Everything is so pivotal in this moment. I believe that we're in a window of time, ladies and gentlemen, that it's a flexion point. It could go either way. We could see this thing extended and God gives us more time we could see it shortened. I believe it could be either one. A lot of people say, yeah, but all the prophecies and the revivals and all that stuff, if the people are open, if the nation is open. You can't make people. God sent the angels in to Sodom and Gomorrah, but they were not open. Noah preached for 120 years. They didn't want it. It's not that they didn't know, they did not want what he was cooking, and so the reality is that's where we are, and I'm praying God.
Speaker 1:May there be people that are open to hearing the gospel, that want to be redeemed, that want to hear the message in Jesus name. So we need to continue to keep praying for President Biden. We need to be praying for President Trump. We need to be praying for possible the vice president. Possibly it could be JD Vance. We need to be praying for him. We need to be praying for who Kamala Harris is going to pick for her vice president. Possibly it could be JD Vance. We need to be praying for him. We need to be praying for who Kamala Harris is going to pick for her vice president. We need to be praying for protection, covering and, like I've said before, we need to thank God that President Trump was not assassinated.
Speaker 1:That there could have put our nation into a downhill spiral that may have been hard to recover from. We are sitting on a powder keg of tension right now in the world World War III, we've got Israel, we've got Palestine, we've got Hamas, we've got the Ukraine war. It's all right there. There's a powder keg ready to be released into the earth and we need to be praying, we need to be interceding, and I believe that we're in a season that our praying, our fasting, our seeking the Lord, our willingness to be salt, our willingness to be light all of that, ladies and gentlemen, has to now watch this. All of that is going to deal with what happens in the next few months or so. All of that is going to deal with what happens in the next few months or so. My goodness, I mean, it could. Just it's, it's, it's in the balance. We could see a massive revival and awakening, but I also believe that we're at a time where we could see the rapture of the church. Either one of those can happen. It all depends on our cooperation with God as the, and then also the world's cooperation with the church's preaching of the gospel. So we need to really be praying and interceding and standing in the gap. So that's what I wanted to share with you all in regards to that, but let me transition here to another thing that I wanted to talk to you all about. That, I think, is so important. I think it's so vital that we need to focus in on our health. I want to take a minute because I know that there's going to be people watching right now. I'm on a mission right now to.
Speaker 1:I've been changing my diet for some time now. I've been back in the weight room and working out and making time for that. You know, I really feel in my heart that there's such an importance of taking care of your physical health eating healthy, not eating at Burger King and McDonald's and Taco Bell and fast foods and fried foods and your favorite sub house and hoagie house If y'all want to come hoagies, I call them subs. You know it's just so important to take care of your health. Be cutting down the intake of your sugar and the sodas and aspartame and all of those types of things. Drinking more water. It's just so important that we take care of ourselves.
Speaker 1:You know the devil would love to shorten your lifespan. If he can't take you out with the sin in the world, he'll take you out, just simply, with the flesh. What do I mean by that? We love to eat. You know it's kind of like one person I got a weight problem. I can't wait to eat, and a lot of time that can be our issue. It's our snacking late at night, our eating a snicker bar.
Speaker 1:Ladies and gentlemen, there was a time in my life when I first got married Now this is a while ago. I haven't done this in a while. I would get donuts and candy and a big thing of Pepsi or Coke and I would drink all that and eat all that and hot wings right before I'd go to bed. I'd eat all that type of stuff and I eventually cut all of that out. But you know and listen, please hear me. I don't want anybody writing me any letters about this, but listen. There's nothing like learning how to have a lifestyle change.
Speaker 1:I've seen people do the gastric bypass, not faulting them for that. Uh, they got I don't know much about them. They got the new drops that are coming out. People are losing weight from it. No, I, whatever floats your boat, go ahead. One thing I tell people is do your research. Uh, I definitely don't want to turn into uh, uh, no type of clump. Uh, turn into buddy love, because I'm trying to take something that bypasses the process. Do your research on anything that's out there, just like you did with the mask, just like you did with the shots, anything I mean. Whatever weight loss thing you want to take, it's totally up to you. I just want to make sure I know what's going in my body. There's not going to be any long-term effects, anything along that line. I want to know that.
Speaker 1:But I say this to say simply this ain't nothing like old school lifestyle change. You know no shortcuts and I'm not saying that all of that is wrong, please hear me but I'm saying there's nothing like a lifestyle change. It's important that you don't just try to get out of you know, it's kind of like back in the day where they had six minute abs and you put that little thing on your abs. Nothing can give you that except getting in the weight room and putting in the work, and so one of the things for me is lifestyle change. It's important. Now I'm not saying not to use that other stuff. So I just want to say that again. I don't want a bunch of emails and people contacting me because I'm not going to respond to it, but what I'm saying is that there are there, even in the midst of all those things do a lifestyle change. It's not eating the things you used to eat anymore. It's making sure that you're.
Speaker 1:Even if you lose the weight, you still want to work out. You want to make sure that you're running, getting your cardio up. You want to make sure that you're getting your blood work drawn every year. You want to make sure that you're getting your screenings. You want to make sure that you're doing all those things. What is that? That colon screening? I did it my way. You know whatever you need to do as you're getting old especially me.
Speaker 1:Now I'm in my mid delay forties and you know I'm realizing hey, you know I'm not getting any younger. Staying healthy is important. Watching your weight is important. Watching your BMI is important. Making sure that your blood sugar is good. Make sure that your cholesterol is good. I don't know about y'all. I mean I still got young kids. Some of y'all that are my age may have kids that are older. My kids are young. They're 10 and going to be nine in just a couple of months. Here. I want to make sure that I'm around. I want to make sure I'm healthy. I want to make sure that I can put in full work days. I want to make sure that I have the ability to keep on going because I'm healthy. You know there's something about a body in motion stays in motion, y'all, so it's important.
Speaker 1:My brother said something years ago that said nothing tastes as good as looking good. Ain't nothing like being able to get into some clothes and know that you're looking good and looking slim? And trimming down and taking care of yourself and preserving your sexy Ain't nothing like that? There's nothing like it. But it takes a lifestyle change. So do all the other things you want to do, but change your lifestyle, because you can even lose weight, but if you don't have a change of the mind, you're eventually going to put it back on. You're eventually going to do all those things that you're going to be right back because you're going to eat for the wrong reasons. You got to change the way you got to prepare your meals. You got to make sure you're doing good, healthy smoothies and things along that line, to make sure you've got all your vitamins and minerals and proteins and everything else, and staying away from too much red meat, which I am a fan of.
Speaker 1:Listen, I love me a good steak. I was just out in Buffalo, new York with my son. We had a father son trip and I went out there with him and we went to a place called Russell's If you've never been there, out on Transit Road, oh my goodness. They got a 26 ounce ribeye with the bone in. Oh my Lord, they had garlic butter melted on it Drizzle. I mean. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it, and I'm a medium rare guy. On top of that, love a good steak. Nothing wrong with having things from time to time.
Speaker 1:But, ladies and gentlemen, it's what we're eating consistently that could be killing us. You know, you have to ask yourself the question am I going to eat to live or am I living to eat? And it's important that you develop those things. So I'm on a mission, y'all, and anybody that wants to join with me say Pastor Jay, I'm in with you. I mean, start getting back, dropping your weight, dropping all the sweets and the sugars and all the things that are bad for you and fried foods. And you know and I've already been on a mission before I did the keto zone. That's my favorite thing to do, by the way, you can't live off of that, in my opinion, but I do like it for weight loss. I think it's outstanding. My body does not respond well to carbs. Some of y'all do. You can do that Me. If I cut carbs out and sugar, I mean I can drop weight like ain't no tomorrow and work out.
Speaker 1:Go and on some ellipticals or treadmills or a bike. You can be in a seated bike and just pedal. Start somewhere, start stretching, start changing your diet, get your weight back down and get yourself to where you need to be. You know the hardest thing to do is just get to the gym, if you can just get there. That's why I don't. I have workout stuff in my house and things like that, but I love going to the gym, love going to the gym. There's something about getting out and going and being there and being around that atmosphere that works for me. Now some people can work out in their home. That's great, but that's the biggest thing for me. I love being in the gym in the atmosphere, stretching all the different types of workout machines you can be involved in. You know they got the Jacobs ladder thing, which my dad is outstanding.
Speaker 1:Big shout out to my dad. He's going to be 70 next year and I tell you what he looks like. He's in his early 50s, maybe mid 50s. I mean he is. I mean he is just outstanding. I told him. I said, when I get to be your age, if I can be as healthy, looking as you, man, tell you what I am going to be a happy man. So that's in my genes, so I'm going to get myself to where I need to be, and it's just so important, though, that we're healthy.
Speaker 1:You feel better, you know you're stretching, you're not cramping up here, you're able to get around, you're not going up and down a flight of stairs. And someone asked you, did you just run a marathon? You're sweating glycerin and you sweat. And it's like man, what is that? It looked like, it looked like oil. I mean, it's just all the cholesterol coming out of you and, uh, you know you can't. You don't have no wind, you ain't got no breath. Uh, you know what I mean? It messes with every area of your life. You put on all that extra weight. It'll mess with your love life. I mean, man, you know, hey, if you want to stand strong and you want to do what you got to do, ladies and gentlemen, man, you got to preserve your sexy, and so it's important that you get your weight down, get your heart up. So then you know if you want to be romantic, you ain't in there holding your heart. You know it's like. You know we want to be healthy. You want to be able to run, you want to be able to walk, you want to be ableion in your body. It's important.
Speaker 1:Even Paul said I will not be brought under the power of anything, whether it's food, whether it's nicotine, whether it's alcohol, whether it's pornography, whether it's food, whether it's anything. You don't want that to have authority and dominion over you. So the reason why I'm saying all this, this is where I've been for a little bit. Now I'm slimming down. I'm even holding this here. You might be able to see it a little bit. This is just the beginning. I used to have all of that. I mean I'm getting it back, though I'm on a mission right now. I got a lot of things coming up and I want to make sure I am in the best shape of my life and looking the best.
Speaker 1:I believe my best days are now. I believe your best days are now, and one of the areas that the devil will attack you is in your health. You know you can pray and fast and stand in prayer lines and all that, but listen, your prayers and other people's anointing will be rebuking. I'm sorry, your lifestyle will be rebuking other people's prayers and anointing. Sometimes, when you need God to bring a breakthrough in your physical body, he sends you a message like this this is the anointing needed to get off of the couch, to get back into the weight room, to go see your doctor. Now, listen, let me say this as well Some of y'all that never go and get a mammogram or get a pap smear or get your prostate checked and get your colon looked at and all you need to make sure you take care of yourself and a lot of time because of fear, people don't go.
Speaker 1:Well, I'm not going to the doctors, I'm not doing this. That's fear. So think about this for a minute Now watch this the Bible says whatever is not a faith is sin. So if you're allowing fear to stop you from going to the doctor, if you're allowing fear to go, do that you are empowering yourself to fail. I want you to hear that you are empowering your life. You're opening the door to sickness, disease, malady, malfunction, cancer, everything else.
Speaker 1:An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so it's important that you are taking care of yourself. It's important that you're healthy. It's important that you're working out. Go to your doctor annually, find out what you need to do and take care of your physical body. I plan, by the grace of God, to be around for a long time until Jesus raptures me, and if he tarries that long do I get to? I'm planning on living late, late, late. I want to be healthy. I want to be one of the people that, 80, 90 years old, look like they're 65, running, leaping over tall buildings, got all this energy, full of vision, all of that. That's what I'm looking to do and I want the same for you, and I believe there's some of you watching right now.
Speaker 1:You've been battling with some type of physical ailments and things on that line. You'd be surprised with just going and working out will do for you. You'd be surprised with just changing your diet. Yeah, it's going to be difficult, but see, sometimes we just like sitting on the couch. We're on the couch, we're laying in the bed. We're not doing much. Man, if you got to start in a chair and get five pound weights, start with something.
Speaker 1:The Bible says God will prosper the work of your hands. Just give them something to work with, and I believe there's going to be even a grace that's going to come upon your life right now, even as I'm talking life right now, even as I'm talking you're feeling a motivation to begin to want to get back and be healthy. You're feeling a motivation to get back into the weight room. Listen, spirit, soul and body, beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul. So that lets me know. If my mind will and emotions doesn't prosper, nothing else will prosper. My health prospers as my mind prospers.
Speaker 1:Getting our finances in order, man, how important is that? Taking care of that deals with the mind. We want God to bless us financially, but then we don't. We're not good stewards, we're not taking care of what he gave us to do. So it is so important, ladies and gentlemen, so vitally important, that you're taking care of your health. Take care of your health. Go get your cholesterol check. Get your blood drawn. Ladies, get all the feminine tests that need to be done. Gentlemen, get all the male tests that need to be done. Make sure you're staying ahead of the game and ahead of the routine. Let's get back in line. Let's take care of business. Let's make sure we're going and seeing our dentist when we need to. Let's make sure that you're doing all the things you need to do, that you can be around and finish your race strong, in Jesus name.
Speaker 1:You'd be surprised how, just by working out how you have so much more energy, get your heart rate up, man, you'll be able to run and be able to do all sorts. And when I say run, I mean necessarily just physically running. I mean just emotionally and mentally and spiritually, the drive that comes as a result of being in the weight room and going back to the gym and running on elliptical. I mean you can do like an express workout, even if it's only 45 minutes to an hour a day, something to get back. Some say, well, I can't do a lot of impact. Find a local YMCA or a place where it has a pool. Start walking in the pool. Do chair aerobics, anything. I mean.
Speaker 1:Nowadays there's so many things that you can do. You can turn it on YouTube If you don't want to leave your house and you're a person that has the discipline to do that. You can do P90X back in the day. I remember that. I mean there's a million things out there that you can do. You can do chair aerobics sitting in a chair and just grab a couple of water bottles.
Speaker 1:This is my listen. Let me show this real quickly. If you only got Perrier listen, this is for the anointed, sanctified, dignified pastor you need to get yourself some Perrier. I'm telling you what this is outstanding. I love this stuff If you got to get a bottle and freeze it and use that and start working out with that, whatever you need to do.
Speaker 1:But you want to make sure that you're healthy. You want to make sure you're around for your kids, your grandkids, your great grandkids. You want to make sure that you're taking care of yourself in your mind and making sure that you're putting some taxation on that body. You know. You want to make sure that you're eating the right things.
Speaker 1:I don't know how many people get into a prayer line constantly need prayer. A lot of times it's not. It's not a spiritual problem, it's a stewardship problem. Some things are spiritual, some things are stewardship. It's well. Lord, bless my finances. God bless my health, bless my health. I've already blessed your health.
Speaker 1:The problem is you're not blessing your health. You have to steward your health. That means going to the doctor. That means taking vitamins. That means eating healthy Garbage in, garbage out, I mean. It means watching what you're eating. It means eating well-rounded foods and get up in the morning, cut up some avocado and have some scrambled eggs and some turkey bacon or whatever it is that you're going to do, and have something to learn about the different foods you can put in besides just breads, white breads and all those types of things and sugars and donuts and cakes and pies and all those things, and cut a lot of that out.
Speaker 1:There's nothing wrong every now and again having a little taste, you know, but you don't want to be living off of that stuff. You don't want to keep all these cookies and stuff like that. It's going to take you to an early, early resurrection and you don't want that. You want to be able to live long. You want to be able to be healthy. You want to be strong, you want to be viral virile, you want to, you want to, you want to have all of that. So it's important that's been in my spirit that we take care of ourselves. Maybe I'll come back on another time and do some more weight loss ideas. I remember I had a doctor that I brought on here years ago. My wife and I did it and I just believe this is a time where we need to take care of ourselves, we need to make sure that we're healthy, we need to make sure that we're looking good and feeling good and take care of things and working our way.
Speaker 1:And listen, I'm not saying there isn't time for gastric bypasses and drops and all that. I want to say one last time. I don't have an issue with those, but there's nothing like just changing your lifestyle. It'll work. It'll work, but a lot of times and I'm not saying this is for everybody Sometimes some people just look like all right, I want to still eat what I want, I want to do what I want.
Speaker 1:I want to lose weight on the Krispy Kreme diet. That's what I want to do. I want to be able to eat what I want, do what I want and be able to lose weight. Or I don't want to have, I want something artificial. I don't want to be artificial. I don't. I mean, I'm not, I'm not opposed to it. So let me say it again. I'm just saying this is for me, this is my opinion, this is what I like. I wanted to do it my way. I wanted to be healthy. I want a lifestyle change. I want to lose weight because I earned it. I want to. I don't want to have to come off of something and then balloon back up because my mind and my body and all that wasn't adjusted, it was just, it was artificial. I want it to reel in. I'm not saying that other things are not. I'm saying that's why I've seen people get a gastric bypass and then they're right back where they were years later. People can do drops and different types of things and substitutes and ozempic and all that type of stuff, but if you don't change your lifestyle, you're going to take that stuff forever. And is that stuff good forever? I don't know. I haven't done the research on it so I don't know. I just pay for me. Real simple I want to eat healthy, I want to eat good, I want to work out, I want to be slim, I want to have muscle tone, I want to wear what I want to wear and know that I was hilarious.
Speaker 1:I was at a conference in California and a friend of mine who I've connected with more and more in the last couple of years or so, but I'm sure you've heard of David Binion, david and Nicole Binion. So I get to see him pretty often, different places that we connect in. And so we were at Cornerstone together and then I met him out there, him and his wife, with my wife, and we were out in California and he was getting going up to speak and he went up there and he said Does my stomach make this shirt look small? I mean, I lost it. I lost. I never heard that one before. Does my stomach make this shirt look small? Instead of saying, wait a minute, my stomach is just big. But it's the emphasis, and he was just joking or whatever.
Speaker 1:But I'm thinking about that how, man, when you slim down, you don't have to worry about that. You know, and sometimes you got to pay the cost. But there's nothing like that, knowing that you have a lifestyle change, that you're eating healthy, that you know even when difficult times come, maybe there will be attacks in your physical body or whatever. You know. You know you have the confidence. All right. This isn't because of a bad lifestyle. This isn't because you can probably say it's a spiritual attack, because I'm eating right, I'm doing right, I'm putting good things into my body, so, as a result, I can even go in integrity, and it doesn't mean that God won't bless you.
Speaker 1:But I don't want it to be Well, I didn't take care of myself, so now I'm reaping where I sowed. I want it. We're like okay, I'm making lifestyle changes, I'm getting my weight down, my heart is healthy, my blood is healthy, my mind is healthy. Even dealing with cognitive stuff, man, I mean omega-3 and things like that. How important is that for cognitive ability and the ability I mean with Alzheimer's and things like that? I don't want to have to. Well, I'm just going to eat any old way, do anything I want to do, and then hopefully they have a medication for one day I'll be fine. I want to be able to say you know what, even if things come, I can say it probably is a demonic attack. Why I'm eating healthy, I'm working out. Devil, you're a liar, I can count I If I'm not.
Speaker 1:Now the question comes in am I doing right? Am I in the situation because I ate too much? And all this sugar, I mean all this stuff. You don't want to become insulin dependent, you know. You don't want to become insulin resistant. I mean all these types of things. I mean it's just, it's just important. So I want to share that a little bit with you, because that's what's been in my spirit for me, and you're going to see me each and every time that I'm on here.
Speaker 1:I'm getting smaller and smaller and smaller. My pants are getting bigger and bigger. I want to say does my stomach make these pants look big? That's what I don't say. Does this, does my waist make these pants look big? You know that's what I want. I want we're like I got to buy a whole new wardrobe in Jesus name.
Speaker 1:Hey, join with me. Listen, if you're going to go on a mission to say I want to lose weight, I want you to type in the chat bar Pastor Jay, I'm joining with you. I'm joining with you. We're going to commit to make sure we're losing weight. We're going to commit to getting back in weight.
Speaker 1:Some of y'all maybe you don't need to lose weight, but you need to get eating healthy, because just because you're skinny don't mean you're healthy. You can be. You can get cancer being skinny. I mean you don't have to be overweight. It's not just like people that are overweight and obese are the ones that it can be skinny people. It just matters what you're putting into your body. So you know you may have to do some research Person who I have loved researching with. I mean, I tell you what he is just such a blessing to me and been with him on Cornerstone and man, I tell you what he is one of the best doctors. I tell you what Don Colbert is just a phenomenal man. And look him up online.
Speaker 1:Deal with the keto zone. Some people don't like keto, but whatever you choose to do, that's just that's me. That's the type of diet I've always liked. It's always worked for me temporarily, but in that you can make lifestyle change because then you can come back in and implement different things accordingly. But all that sugar and stuff, oh man, I'm done with it. I've been done with it really for the most part, but I'm really getting strict.
Speaker 1:So I just want y'all to know I'm bringing it back. Y'all, I'm bringing it back. I'm bringing it back. Join with me, say I'm bringing it back. Hey, just type it in there. I'm bringing sexy back. I'm getting my sexy back from my wife, from my husband, whoever it is for you, for Jesus, whomever, but make sure it's for the right person. Don't bring sexy back in a bad way. I'm using, but that's what we need to be doing, so. I want to encourage you today.
