Dimensions August 12, 2025: Trust The Process - The Key to Growth and Development

Speaker 1:

Well, good day. Listen, I'm so excited that you have tuned in for Dimensions today. Listen, if you're watching right now or you're listening, I'm telling you what God is getting ready to shift your life from one level of glory to the next level of glory. I'm going to talk to you today about trusting the process, the key to growth and development. See, many times people start the process but they don't finish the process. The key to growth and development. See, many times people start the process but they don't finish the process. They don't trust that the work they're putting in will produce fruit, whether it's in your walk with Jesus Christ, whether it's in your physical body, whether it's in your finances. This is the key today. You've got to learn to trust the process. All that and more coming up right now on Dimensions. Welcome, welcome, welcome.

Speaker 1:

Everybody, no matter where you're listening, guess what? God has a word for you today, five days a week, I'm coming live right at you, ready for you to be able to receive what thus saith the Lord, and receive the word of the Lord today. You know that's what I like about Dementions. Here we always deal in the prophetic. Now, what is God saying today? Give us this day our daily bread, and that's why we're here to give you the daily bread today for what the spirit of the Lord has for your life. So I'm Jay Anthony Gilbert. I'm so glad that you've tuned in and I am excited. But before we go any further, would you do me a favor? Would you like, subscribe, follow, share all of that good stuff? Whether you're on YouTube or Facebook, no matter where you are, let somebody know that you're tuning in and this is going to be a blessing today and that'll help us to get the word out in Jesus name. So I'm looking forward to that. And then, don't forget also listen. We are on every podcast platform that can be imagined. So go and subscribe to our podcast and you can be the latest member of the Dimensions family and you don't have to miss anything of what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in the prophetic noun teaching you. Because, listen, this is a day and hour that we are in where lukewarmness is creeping in, and I don't want you to be lukewarm. I want you to keep oil in your lamps, love in your heart and sin and leaven out of your life. Very, very, very important that you keep those things operating. So, listen, go get that podcast, subscribe to it and then, every single time a new podcast uploads after we go live, it'll upload. Guess what will happen. You will get it right on your phone. You can listen to it while you're working out. You can listen to it in your car. You can watch it on Facebook and YouTube wherever you are. You can check it out.

Speaker 1:

Dimensions are going to be coming to you at least five days a week, and that's what we're going to be doing here. So I'm really excited about that as well. But listen, today I want to talk to you all about trusting the process, the key to growth and development. Listen, I know that you want to go to the next level in your life. I know that you want to develop and see it. God has been speaking to me. He said this whole week I'm going to be talking to you about mentorship and be talking to you about development, about discipleship, about the importance of having a coach in your life and why it's so vital.

Speaker 1:

People only go as high as the level that people are pulling them up to, and that's what a coach does. They demand more out of you than what you think can come out of you. That's what makes a great coach, a great disciple, is that they see the greatness within you and they do whatever it takes in order to pull that greatness out of you. And that's why you're watching today, whether you realize it or not. That's why the devil's been breathing down your neck. That's the reason why the devil's been attacking you. That's the reason why, when you were a young boy or girl, you went through. Everything that you went through was simply for the reason that God was calling you to greatness, and God is pulling that out of you. And that's the reason why sometimes we've got to be challenged.

Speaker 1:

We've got to be willing to be challenged in our lives. We got to be willing to be challenged in our hearts, in our minds, in our lives. We got to be willing to be challenged in our hearts, in our minds, in our thinking, because why, where we are, we may have plateaued, but we've got to be willing to shift. We got to be willing to come up. We got to be willing to go to the next level. We got to be willing to go to a higher height, into a deeper depth, than we've ever gone before. We've got to be willing to stretch ourselves, and if we're not willing to do that we're never going to get to where we want to be. You'll never get to the next level by being complacent. You'll never get to the next level by saying that's enough. You'll never get to the next level by saying, boy, you know, I put in a whole lot of work and now I've arrived, and now I've plateaued, because that's where you'll stay.

Speaker 1:

In order to go to the next level, you've got to add more weight on the bar, ladies and gentlemen. You've got to run an extra mile, you've got to be willing to put an extra piece of food down. Whatever it is that you're looking to do, it is going to require something, and the issue that I have today with it is that many people don't trust the process. Hallelujah, they get a coach, they get a mentor, they start discipleship, they go to the gym, they start a diet, and then what happens is they do not trust the process. They do not believe that the work they're putting in is going to yield the additional gains. Or if I'm not seeing the results in the time that I want to see it, I stop the process.

Speaker 1:

There's always a message in the process. There's always a method in the process. There's always a message in the process. There's always a method in the process. There's always development in the process. But if you stop the process whenever it gets difficult, whenever it gets hard usually at the point when things are difficult and hard is the point when you begin to break through. That is the point when you begin to see the next level come, that when you see the greatest resistance, where your mind is telling you you can't go any further, that's as far as you're gonna be able to go, I can't take another step, I don't have anything left within me. It's at that point when you've gotta say I'm gonna trust the process and I'm gonna stick with it. They say you have to have stick-to-itiveness. You've got to stick to it in Jesus' name.

Speaker 1:

And I believe there's people watching right now that you're in the middle of a process and maybe it's getting a little bit harder. Maybe you're watching right now and you've been in the process and you kind of laid down the process. Sometimes what will happen is that you'll be in the middle of a process and then what will happen is you'll begin to have difficulties in your life. What do I mean by that? Something will happen. Maybe you'll get sick, maybe you'll get ill. Maybe the reason why you can't make an appointment, maybe the reason why you had to stop working out, maybe there's a reason why you couldn't eat a certain way and maybe there's a reason why you couldn't exercise, or maybe there's certain things you couldn't do in your marriage, or whatever it might be. There could be things that pop up. When those things happen, you have to realize you cannot be distracted. You've got to get back to what it was that you were doing. Don't be distracted in those seasons. You've got to be willing to press on through.

Speaker 1:

Now, listen, I want you to do something for me. I want you to go with me to the book of Mark, chapter number four Mark, chapter number four. We want to go with me to the book of Mark, chapter number four, mark, chapter number four. We want to go there real quickly and I want to show you this in the scriptures. Now watch this. This is a very, very powerful.

Speaker 1:

This is the story of the sower, the parable of the sower. Jesus, in verse one through nine, talks about. He just talks about the sower, how he sowed some and went along the wayside. Some was on stony ground, some was on thorny ground, then some was on good ground. And then he talks about that and disciples begin to ask a little bit more. And then, in verse number 10, he said but when he was alone, those around him with the 12 asked him about the parable. He said to them to you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, but tree of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, all things come in parable so that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest they should turn and their sins should be forgiven them Verse 13. And he said to them do you not understand this parable? How then, when you understand all the parables and the sower sows and these are the ones by the wayside when the word is sown, when they hear, satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Now look at this here. This is the first thing that you have to understand.

Speaker 1:

Whenever you get a new idea, whenever you get a new passion, you get a new unction, you get a new innovation, you get a new, just something within you. Man, I'm going to get up and I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to press in and I'm going to do something new, the first thing that will come against you is Satan himself. He'll try to stop you from doing it. And then it says he'll immediately take away it. Maybe you got a prophetic word. Maybe you got an idea to be able to bring some spark into your marriage. Maybe you got an idea of how you're going to find that spouse of yours? You're going to open up a business. The devil will come and steal and sometimes what does that mean?

Speaker 1:

Takes out of their heart. They lose sight of it and they don't even who. When they hear it, they hear the word immediately. They receive it with gladness. So they're excited about it. You know, that's where everybody starts. They're excited about what the new thing is. They're ready, they're pumped, they're primed, they're ready to go. But then look at what happens here and they have no root. It doesn't take place. It's all emotionalism. They don't have any discipline. They don't have any discipline. They don't trust the process, they don't stick with it. Then afterward they said they only endure for a time.

Speaker 1:

Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises, for the word's sake, immediately they stumble. What does that mean Afterward? When tribulation or persecution arises, for the word's sake, they immediately are stumbling. Because when you get an idea, when you get an innovation, when you get ingenuity, when you get a vision for something, there will always be an attack on that word. There'll be an attack on that area to see has it really taken root in you? Do you really believe that there's a? Now I want you to see something. First, there was the enemy that came in. The second one, this is dealing with an inner battle. What do I mean by an inner battle? There was nothing. It was something in me that wasn't right. Okay, there's something in me that isn't developed. It didn't take root in me. I don't have the ability to stay with it and to trust the process, to keep on going. That is the key to growth and development.

Speaker 1:

Tribulation persecution arises, they begin to fall off, they get distracted, they fall off. You're going to commit to being in church a certain amount of times and then, all of a sudden, the car breaks down and then, all of a sudden, a week goes by, two weeks goes by, and then, all of a sudden, you decide you're not going to go back to what you're doing. You didn't stick with it. You've got to trust the process. You've got to get back to it. You've got to learn that even if you fall off, you've got to get back up, get back on the horse and ride on to glory. You've got to understand things are going to come in tribulation, persecution, things are going to happen to try to throw you off of what it is that God has called you to do. But you've got to continue to keep on pressing. You've got to continue to keep on pushing. You've got to continue to keep on pressing. You got to continue to keep on pushing. You got to continue to keep on developing. You got to continue to keep on keeping with it. Have that stick-to-itiveness and watch the process there.

Speaker 1:

So it says there, these are the ones that are I'm sorry. Immediately they stumble, so they're the ones that fall away. Now they hear the word, they're excited. They don't stick with it. Something causes them to stumble and then they fall because they didn't have the root themselves. It was internal, and you'll see where I'm saying that in just a minute. Look at verse 18. Now these are the ones sown among thorns. They are the ones who hear the word and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches and desire for other things enter in and choke the word and it becomes unfruitful.

Speaker 1:

So now there's the inner battle that we talked about on the stony ground. Now this is the outer battle. There are things out there that cause me to be distracted. There are things out there that I'm going after. I would rather have that. I'd rather do that. It's kind of like this I would rather have that cheeseburger than to be able to lose some weight. I would rather be able to lay home and sleep and watch a movie than it would be to go work out. There's something else that takes my passion. There's something else that takes my focus what I'm looking at and as a result of that, it falls among thorny ground, which means it begins to choke the word there. So, look, there was inner things dealing with me that I'm stumbling on because it didn't have the root inside of myself.

Speaker 1:

This is outer things that choke what God has put inside of me, and I want you to trust the process. If God has given you something, whatever you've got to do, don't let the world choke it out. Don't let people choke it out. Don't let people discourage you. Don't let outer things. It's all there because of the word Now watch this. This is what's very, very important. You've got to understand that. That's the reason why the devil is attacking you and you got to realize it's for the word's sake that it's going to yield.

Speaker 1:

There is something called seed, time and harvest that we have to understand. There is seed, there is time and there is harvest. I want you to go with me to Genesis, chapter 8, and I want you to go to verse number 22. Genesis 8, verse number 22. All right, let's take a look at that. Genesis 8, verse number 22. And this is what I mean by trusting the process. You've got to trust it. You've got to stay with it. If you made a decision, you're going to be discipled in church, you're going to walk with a mentor. You can't leave because things get hard. You can't leave because things get difficult. That's when the greatest work is done in and through your life. Genesis 8, verse number 22.

Speaker 1:

Look at this While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, seed time and harvest. As long as the earth remains, there will be seed, there will be time and there will be harvest. In that time is where you are either on good ground You're on stony ground, thorny ground, or along the wayside, which is what we read in Mark, chapter four. Is there something in me that doesn't well, that's not willing to continue, but because the idea of the passion, the heart, didn't take root in me. Is there something on the outward that didn't give me, that's distracted me and caused me to be pulled away? Or is it good ground where I'm going to stick to it and ride it all the way out, all the way to glory? Now go with me, if you will, to Galatians, chapter number six. Galatians, chapter number six. I want you to take a look at this here, because this is important as well. Galatians, chapter six. Hallelujah, I hope this is being a blessing to you today, because this is really going to speak to you. Galatians six. And let's look here at verse number seven.

Speaker 1:

Now remember trust the process. What God gives you? A new idea? That's the seed. He gives you a new innovation, innovation. He gives you new ingenuity. He gives you new creativity. He gives you a new idea that you decide you're going to implement, and it can be natural, physical, soulish. Maybe you're going to read a book a month. Maybe you're going to start losing weight. Maybe you're going to do more with your family. Maybe you're going to go on more vacation. You're going to do a better job at resting.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure where it is that God's growing you. Maybe you're going to learn to have boundaries and tell people no, and you haven't done a good job of that. Maybe you're going to work on not being so lazy and I'm going to get up and I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to go to work and I'm going to do extra things with my time. You're going to work on these things. I'm going to grow, I'm going to develop, I'm going to become who God's called me to be.

Speaker 1:

God gives you that seed and that idea. There's power within it. Remember, think about it. You plant an orange seed. You can get an orange tree. You plant a potato, you can get a bunch of potatoes. I mean, you plant one seed. It doesn't look anything like the harvest. When you start working your seed, there is a harvest that is coming. That's what I'm saying. Trust the process. It may not look like, think about it.

Speaker 1:

The Bible talks about how. First then comes the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear, and I'll get to that in a minute. But look at this here, verse number seven Galatians, chapter six, verse seven Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the spirit will of the spirit reap life everlasting. Look here, verse nine trusting the process Ready.

Speaker 1:

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Let us not grow weary in doing good, why? In due season we will reap if we don't faint. Come on somebody, I want you to see this. I want you to see this is very important. I want you to give me one quick second here because I want to get this for you. It's very, very important that we catch this very, very important here Now. I want you to see this here because if we don't get this, we will not grow.

Speaker 1:

If we don't trust the process, if we don't allow ourselves to develop and to grow and to become all that God's called us to be, if we don't stay with it, if we don't allow ourselves not to be distracted, if we don't learn how to get back on the horse, if we don't learn to stay with the program, one little seed can change everything in your life if you'll stay with it If you'll keep working the process. It says do not. He said let us. He said look at this.

Speaker 1:

Let me read it again in Galatians, chapter six and verse number seven do not be deceived, god is not my whatever. A man sold that he shall also reap. In verse nine let us not grow weary while doing good. That lets me know you can be doing the right thing. Not seeing the results, not seeing what you want to see, and it can cause you to grow weary. God's saying don't grow weary in doing good, for in due season this is the reality, though. You don't know when due season's going to hit. You don't know when it's going to break through.

Speaker 1:

In that time, there's seed time and harvest, entrusting the process. Watch this. It's not what you get, it's what you become, and faithfulness is God's key to promotion. Stay with the seed and it will work. Stay with the idea. Stay with what God gave you. You will see the benefit. You will see the fruit. You will see the fruit. You will see the wisdom. You will see. You will get the understanding that God has called you to get. Now this thing.

Speaker 1:

I want to go back to Mark chapter four, real quickly, mark, chapter four, because I think this is so important that I mentioned this to you, because if you don't understand this and this is the parable of the growing seed, the parable of the growing seed that I believe the Lord wants you to understand here right now this is Mark, chapter 4, 26 through 29. Okay, let's go there. Mark, chapter 4, 26 through 29. And he said the kingdom of God is if a man should scatter seed on the ground and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, and he himself does not know how. Now look at this this is important and understand how it works.

Speaker 1:

Trust the process. Come on, somebody, trust the process. How does it work? I don't understand. I'm not saying just keep with it. Just stay with it. Yes, you'll make tweaks, yes, you'll make adjustments, yes, you'll make changes, but stay with what God gave you to do. Stay with the process, stay with what he's put inside of you, stay with the idea and watch what happens. Look at what it says. Here again. He said you're going to sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed's going to sprout and grow, and you're not going to know how it's going to grow. Sometimes you won't even see the development happening within you.

Speaker 1:

But this is where I want to get to as well. Now, watch. Now there's seed, there's time, and then there's harvest. And this is why you got to trust the process, because the seed has to grow until the harvest manifests. Now, what does that mean? Verse number 28. Now here's the ticker, for the earth yields crop by itself first the blade, then the head, and after that the full grain in the head.

Speaker 1:

Or one passage says first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. Now look at this First the blade, then the head, then the full grain in the head. 30, 60, 100 fold. Stay with the process. First the blade it comes up, and you got this green, I mean, or something that comes up out of the ground, or whatever it is. It doesn't even look like the harvest at all. That's not what you're looking for. But it's growing.

Speaker 1:

Come on, somebody, I feel this right now. It's growing in your life, it's developing in your life. Things are beginning to change. You're beginning to develop, you're becoming who God has called you to be. And so what happens there? Things begin to sprout up, things begin to grow. First the blade, then the blade comes up, then the head, then all of a sudden some things begin to come out of the blade and it begins to develop, and then even in the midst of it, then the full grain in there. So if you're thinking about corn, you have the sprout that comes up and then you'll have the heads that come up, and then inside of the head there's this corn that's being developed, these kernels are beginning to come forth, and then it says but when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle because the harvest has come. That's the due season.

Speaker 1:

People don't trust the process. It doesn't go from seed to harvest. There's time in between. It's what you become, it's what you develop, it's the wisdom that God gives you in the process, it's the understanding. God is actually preparing you for the harvest that is about to come. For in due season we shall reap if we don't faint. That's why many are called but few are chosen and many are frozen.

Speaker 1:

Why? Because they never went through the full process and that's the reason why even in my life, I've talked to our church. We are in a process. I told everybody. I said if we will commit, if people will commit to one year of being discipled and being developed and having a mentor, having a coach. They will not recognize themselves in a year if they're willing to commit to the process. But what happens is people start the process and then they quit the process. They get to the blade, then they quit. They stop watering it, they stop developing it, they stop doing the things that cause it to grow, they stop the sunshine, they just walk away and then it dies in the middle of the process. Why they were not watch this? They were not fit to inherit the harvest because they did not allow themselves to develop in the process.

Speaker 1:

Don't rob yourself. Listen to me. Your harvest has been scheduled. God's got a breakthrough. It's your name on it. God's got things that are coming forth in your life.

Speaker 1:

I believe this is the second Matter of fact. We were in a new building and the Lord began to speak to me prophetically. We just got it through our first three months. He said this is the first trimester. This is the second trimester. This is when you get the head. He said then the grain, then the head. Look what it says here First the earth yields crop by itself. First the blade, then the head and then, after that, the full grain in. There's another level that God takes you to. There's another development that God takes you to. They'll give you some ideas and now begin to work, though.

Speaker 1:

Stay with the process. Stay with it, keep working it. Keep working it. Let God develop in you the intestinal fortitude, the stick-to-itiveness, the things you need to have in order to grow and develop. See, trust the process. You're putting in the work. The harvest is coming. You're putting in the work. You're going to lose the weight. You're putting in the work. Your marriage is going to get better. You're putting in the work. You're going to church. You're tithing, you're fasting, you're giving. You're doing all the things that God's called you to do. Stay with it. Trust the process. That is the key to growth and development. Realize, I'm not only explaining to you the process. Watch this. I'm telling you to trust the process.

Speaker 1:

You sow a seed, then comes up. Now look at that. There's seed which you sow now in the time seed time and harvest In the time. There becomes the blade, then the ear or the head and then the full corn in the ear or in the head. So there's three different processes that happen in that time. You've got to wait.

Speaker 1:

The Bible talks about even when you're dealing with winning the loss, the happened in that time. You've got to wait. The Bible talks about even when you're dealing with winning the loss. The Bible said Paul planted a pile of water, but what God gives the increase, god schedules the due season. And let me just encourage you right now. Your due season is on the way. God is getting ready to bless you like never before. You're getting ready to see the harvest that you've been waiting for. You're getting ready to see some things happening and even though you might only see the blade, the fact that you saw the blade means that the corn is coming. The fact that you saw the head means the corn is coming. The fact that you see the full corn developed in the blade or in the ear and the corn and all that stuff developing in the head because the harvest is already scheduled the fact that it's sprouted up you should rejoice over the fact that one sprout came up. That means the seed is working and sometimes that's just enough for God to show you hey, you're on the right path.

Speaker 1:

Keep on working what you're working. Keep on doing what you're doing. Don't quit, don't throw in the towel. Trust the process. You're working on canceling some debts. You might've canceled one little debt, second debt, but you don't. This is the thing. Now I feel this from the Lord you don't know that in the process, when the miracle might break through. You don't know when, in the process, god might say now, and then, all of a sudden, supernatural, may seem like it's moving real slow, and then, out of nowhere, god will just say okay, now's the time, now's the moment. Be faithful, because you have to trust the process that God is going to continue to grow.

Speaker 1:

You and so many people quit because they don't see the expectations that they have, they don't see the results they want to have. Stay with it. If it ain't working, just keep tweaking things, but stay with it. Keep on working what you're working, keep on doing what you're doing, keep on pressing where you need to press, keep on fasting, keep on doing, keep on seeking, keep on striving, keep on thriving until you see the full corn in the ear and then you reap the harvest. In Jesus' name, god has a harvest. I'm telling you right now. There is a harvest with your name on it and the devil's trying to get you to quit the process, because if you quit the process, you will lose the progress and you will never see the maturation of the harvest that God has for you. Who am I talking to right now that God wants you to understand today that he's got a blessing with your name on it. Stay with the process, don't quit, don't throw in the towel. Keep on keeping on in Jesus name, and you will see the harvest in your life. And so I want to encourage you. Trust the process. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the key to growth and development in your life. And so, listen, before I get on out of here, I want to encourage you today to stay with it. Stay with what God has given you to do. Don't quit, don't throw in the towel. Listen.

Speaker 1:

In our church, if you're listening to this, god gave us a command and he said I want you to begin to grow. People. You know a lot of time. We have what's called temple ministry, which we all get together in church on Sunday morning or Wednesday night and have a service. Even small groups is great, but we got to be careful that doesn't become just a mini temple, and what has to happen is we got to have somebody that's walking with us, pouring into our lives, helping us to develop and become all that God calls to be.

Speaker 1:

I want to encourage you to trust the process, as you're starting in the process, trust it. God's got a blessing with your name on. Things are going to begin to sprout up. You're going to begin to see growth and development, and I've seen so many people miss out on the hundredfold because they stopped at 30, because they stopped at 60 instead of getting the hundredfold in their life. They stopped at the blade, they stopped at the head and they didn't wait for the full grain in the head. They didn't wait for that. And God has a harvest for you. Get ready, because he's got a breakthrough and a blessing with your name on it.

Speaker 1:

Don't be distracted by the things that are outward and don't allow the things that are inside of you, the things where there's no willingness and discipline and character, to stay with the program. Stick to it and watch what God will begin to do in and through your life. So listen, I am praying for you and I want to pray for you right now that God will begin to bless you in a supernatural way. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for every person that's being discipled, mentored, that's growing, developing, becoming who you've called them to be Father, god, that they would not leave the process but they would trust the process in the name of Jesus and Lord, they would see the bountiful harvest that is coming into their lives. That they wouldn't quit at the blade, they of Jesus and Lord, they would see the bountiful harvest that is coming into their lives. That they wouldn't quit at the blade. They wouldn't quit at the head, they wouldn't quit at the full grain in the head, but, lord, they would press on until the harvest is ripe and that it's ready to be plucked. Father, lord, I pray your blessing that every distraction, every lack of character, every lack of discipline that would be removed, in the name of Jesus and Lord, they would press arms all the way to the end. And, father, we thank you and we give you the praise, the honor and all of the glory. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen, amen, amen.
