Well, it's Monday night, and as y'all know, the Steelers are about to kick off in the playoffs. Pittsburgh is a madhouse right now. People are running around ready to get in on the field to see what's going on. But you know, there's something else going on right now. It's Monday night dimensions here at 8 p.m. is always bringing you a word in season that you're not going to want to miss. I'm going to talk to you about how to apply Romans 8.28 to your 2026 and the importance of praying in the spirit in this hour that we are in. In order for you to get to where God's called you to be, this is a message you are going to want to hear. All that and more coming up right here on Dimensions. So you're not going to want to miss any of these episodes because we are in the middle of 21 days of prayer and fasting. So I wanted to make sure that every single day we had prayer this morning at 12 p.m. And then we have dimensions at 8 p.m. I want my producer to bring up as well the prayer line there. So every day throughout the fast, except for Saturday and Sunday, because we've got things going on. If we have church, and then Saturday, we've got some things going on. So we're not going to have the prayer call at those times. But Monday through Friday, we're going to be having prayer from January 3rd to the 23rd at 12 p.m. And that number's there available. You know, the Bible says, I has not seen nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those that love him. And if you love the Lord, he's got things prepared for you. Now watch this. And if you love the Lord and He's got things prepared for you, you got to understand that there's an enemy out there as well that wants to do the same thing. So I'm going to talk to you more about that in just a moment. So you're not going to want to miss out on what it is that I'm about to share. And so we want to keep oil in our lamps, love in our heart, sin and leaven out of our lives. I'm going to say that again. Keep oil in your lamp, love in your heart, sin and leaven out of your life. So during these 21 days of prayer and fasting, God has really impressed it upon my heart to tell the people of God to come up in their fast. That if you've, if you've been kind of playing it safe, if you will, you've been playing it with the easy road. You're trying to, how much can I eat and still fast? And God said, uh, what do you really want in this season? Are you paying the price for what it is that you're looking to receive from the Spirit of the Lord in 2026? And so it's important that you're pressing into the presence of God. And that's the reason why every day at 12 o'clock we're doing prayer. Every evening at 8 p.m. Prayers Monday through Friday. Every evening at 8 p.m., we're doing the podcast here, coming on live in order to get people prepared for the presence of God and to get keep that oil in their lamp, that love in their heart, and send the leaven out of their life. So that's important. Keep the sin out, keep the leaven out. Fasting crucifies the flesh. Fasting kills the part of you that blinds your sight to the things of God. Fasting opens your ears to where you may be dull of hearing. Fasting gives you clarity of thought that you can understand and comprehend what God is saying in the moment. It gives you precision when it comes to hearing and seeing and perceiving and understanding. That's what you want because then as you kill that flesh, it gets quieter, your spirit begins to open up and becomes more sensitive to the will of God, the presence of God, and the word of God. And that's why fasting should be a part of your everyday life. I wish somebody would put that in the chat that I'm going to make fasting a part of my everyday life. That's important. You've got to fast. You pray so you can stay, but you fast so you can last. And fasting keeps your axe head sharp. Fact, fasting keeps that blade sharp. You know, like I shared before about how when you have a knife or you've got a razor, when you use it enough, it gets dull. And you got to either change it out or go get something sharpened. It all depends on what you're going to do with the tool that you have. But fasting is when you get alone with God and you re-sharpen the axe head. So then when you make those swings, one cut does the job. Not four, five, and six. When I first started cutting, I was talking about this before when I was uh uh breaking down, you know how it is uh after the holidays, you know, you got to break down all those boxes and all those things. So I had my little razor in it first. I mean, I had to slice right through. I mean, I'm just slicing through. You got to be careful you cut your arm off uh trying to cut through those things because it's so sharp. But you use it enough. After a while, I would pull and it wasn't going through it. And after after a while, I even got to the point where I was tearing the cardboard and it was time to get a new blade. Fasting is where you get your new blade. Fasting is where, watch this, just like with your car, you go get your oil changed. It creates all sorts of issues if you don't get your oil changed. The viscosity uh builds up in the engine, which is the heat from the pistons and the engine and all of it moving so fast, the oil keeps it so it doesn't build up all the heat and causes your engine to crack and have all sorts of other issues because the oil isn't changed and you get chunks in your oil and the oil begins to break down, and it's called viscosity. Viscosity is where the temperature and the friction builds up because the oil is not able to do its job. There are times every year that you need to change your oil for real, for real. And then there are other times you got to do them quick little tune-ups. You know, there's sometimes, you know, you ever been to one of them fast places where they change your oil in 20 minutes? Well, that's kind of like what you do throughout the year. You run into one of them fast places and they change it real fast. But you know, in the beginning of the year, that's the time where you take the car, you drop it off, you sit down, you have a coffee, or go out to the restaurant, and then they call you back an hour or two later, or whatever it is that it might be. And then that's that's the 21-day fast you do, or the 40-day fast that you do in the beginning of the year. And so it's important that you do this as a consistent basis. Don't just fast in these 21 days, don't just fast for the 40 days, don't just fast in the time year and then not fast the rest of the year. Make fasting a part of your life. As a believer, fasting should be a part of our life. Oh, thank you for putting that up. He's a Johnny on the spot. Make fasting a part of your life. A believer, a part of the discipline of a well-trained believer, should be a person that fasts and pray. Let me say this as well. I'm gonna get to Romans 8.28. Give me just a second, I'm gonna get there. But you know, this is the thing. You got to realize something. One of the things is fasting. Number two is getting up early to pray. That's another thing that'll help keep that oil in your lamp. Uh, getting up early, making sure you spend that time. Real believers get up early and they pray and they seek God before they start their day. Number three, here's a third thing. I didn't plan on doing this, but I feel this by the Spirit of the Lord. You keep God a priority, keep him number one in your life. Keep him number one in your life. So fasting, all right? Getting up early to pray and to read your Bible and making sure you keep God a priority, making him number one. I tell people this all the time. I tell people I would never take a job that caused me to miss God's house. If a job can't give me four hours off a day or a week, a couple hours on Sunday, and a couple hours on Wednesday, I mean you have to have the whole day off. Just tell them because of my religious importance and my religious duty and service to God, I've got to make sure I'm in the house of God. I tell people, keep God number one in your prayer life. In your prayer life, keep God number one in your finances. Are you a tither and a giver? If you're gonna be successful in 2026 and you want to overcome the trials and tribulations that come your way, I'm giving you points right now. And the first one is I'm gonna go back over it again. So make sure that you really get it. You gotta fast throughout the year. Even if it's one day a week, take a day a week that you take the time and you really fast and put that flesh back under subjection. Don't let it get ahead of you. Make sure you keep God a priority. Keep Him number one in all that you do, whether your church time, everything else you do. And number three, get up early and pray. Very, very important that you get up early and keep the Lord a priority in the first thing in the morning. God wants to be number one in your life. These are major keys that will help you stay on the firing line, keep your academ sharp, keep you full of the Holy Ghost and power. I'm gonna say it again, just so you get it. Fast, make God a priority, keep Him number one, very, very important, and get up early and pray. When I say keep God number one, a lot of people fail in that arena. We're too busy to go to church, we're too busy to go to prayer, we don't have time to serve in the house of God, and we don't have time to uh put make God a priority with tithing. We're gonna take jobs and stuff that cause us to miss church on Sundays. And and they're and they're not, I understand. I could even just I'm not saying that I would do this, but I can understand if it's like, you know, this job opportunity and I gotta travel and I gotta do something and da-da-da-da-da, and I don't have any choices. But I'll tell you what, if I had to take it, I would, I honestly never have, but if I had to do it, I wouldn't do it unless I I first tried everything I possibly could to tell my job, hey, if I do this, this isn't gonna be permanent. It's gotta be open to change. I got to have a negotiation. I can't miss the house of God. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 10, don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together. And even more so as the day of Christ approaches, as he as his return gets closer, the Bible says we need to be together more. We need to be communing together more. So it's very important if you're gonna be successful, if you're gonna overcome the obstacles that are going to come, if you're gonna have victory in the areas where the adversary is going to attack, you've got to do these things. These things are very important. Make sure you keep God a priority in your life. Make sure that you're fasting. Make sure you're getting up in the morning and praying. Keep Him number one in every area. Don't make him number two. Because many times what I've seen happens to people is people will get blessed, and then all of a sudden, now the blessing overtakes them. Now they start leaving God for the blessing. And they don't realize what they got. Listen, you can't get something from God. Now, watch this, and then leave God and then expect the devil not to be able to take it. God only protects what belongs to him. Now, if you want to become a thief and take the blessing and run with it, you're gonna find out very quickly that those things are gonna dissolve right in your own hands because that's you've got to make God a priority. It's just like this. You can't go and get something from Satan and then take it over here and then say, I don't want you no more of my life. It's not gonna happen. If you leave God to go get something, the devil hasn't access to that. If you take what God blesses you with and you pervert it and do something with it that he didn't call you to do, it's gonna open the door for Satan to come and rob that as well. You'll lose it because it's blessed by God as long as it belongs to him and it makes him a priority. And it watch this. Don't ever let your blessing own you. You need to own the blessing in your life. I don't know who that was for, but I believe that was good preaching right there. But I want you to go with me to Romans chapter 8 because while I'm talking about all this, God's gonna bless some people in 2026. And I want to make sure that you're ready and make sure that as you get blessed, uh that you keep it. And then number two, if you know that God is getting ready to bless you, if you know that doors are going to open and God is getting ready to do some awesome things in and through your life, you have to expect that there will be enemies that will come in. Everything's not gonna be perfect in 2026. There will be some difficulties that come your way. There will be some mountains you'll have to climb. There may be some valleys you have to go through, but God will be with you in it all. And I want you to remember this here. I want you to take a look at this. Here's some great things I'm giving you about uh how to maintain in 2026. Uh look at uh eight, oh isn't that amazing? Romans 8 26 for Romans, uh Romans 8 26 for 2026. Likewise, the spirit also helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now he who searches the hearts knows what's the mind of the spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Now look at verse 28. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to his purpose. If you remember, I've been talking about Ephesians chapter one, where he says, I pray that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened, that they would be flooded with light, that you would know what is the hope of what? His calling. Well, the Bible says all things work together for those who love God and those who are called according to his purpose. So therefore, God wants you to know the hope of his calling. And therefore, he's saying, if you're called according to his purpose, all things have to work together for your good. Now, this is what I want you to see, and I want to share this with you for a moment. Something that God's been impressing into my heart in 2026, that this is a year that we need to pray in the spirit more. We need to really be praying in the Holy Ghost because many times things happen in our lives and we don't look at what it says in verse 26 for 2026. We don't know how to pray as we ought. Why? Because we don't know what the will of God is in circumstances. Many times we don't understand what the will of God is. You might hit something and think it's not working for your good, but it is. But when you pray in the spirit, look at what it says. The spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered because he searches the hearts and he knows what the mind of the spirit is, because he makes intercession according to the will of God. So why do I pray in the spirit? I pray in the spirit because my understanding, my natural understanding, may lack the ability to perceive and to realize what God is doing in this situation. And why am I saying this? All things work together for your good. So sometimes things that may seem unfortunate or misfortunate can actually work for you if you have the mind of Christ and you know what the will of the Father is. Now hold your finger there in Romans 8 and go with me to 1 Corinthians. I want you to see this as well because that's why you got to pray in the spirit. Because many times you don't know how to pray. And many times when you pray in the spirit, your understanding, your natural understanding will become fruitful. You'll begin, God will begin to impress things. It's a gift. That's why people say, I don't want to pray in the Holy Ghost. I believe tongues aren't for today. Why would you not want to know what the mind of God is? And when you pray in the spirit, you lack understanding in the natural because you don't know what to pray for as you ought. But when you pray in the spirit, the spirit will now make known to you how you need to pray and what the will of the Father is. Hallelujah. Look here in 1 Corinthians chapter number two. And I want you to see this in verse number six. However, we speak wisdom. Some say wisdom. Ah, yeah. Wisdom, God. That's one thing I've been praying for with God. Give me wisdom in 2026. We speak wisdom among those who are mature. See, mature people can handle wisdom, and mature people can't. Yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are coming to nothing, but we speak the wisdom of God. Well, look at this in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory. Now you have to remember when you pray in the Holy Ghost, the Bible says you pray mysteries. You don't know what it is, but look at what it says here. We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom of God, which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew. For had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. See, in order to understand what I'm about to read, you have to realize what I just read. Verse 6 through 8 is very important to comprehend when you move on to verse number nine, which people love to quote all the time. And there's nothing wrong with it, but don't take it out of context. But as it is written, eye has not seen, talking about physical eye, ear has not heard, the physical, natural ear, nor has it entered into the physical natural heart or the mind, uh the mind of the individual, of a man, the things that God has prepared for those who love him. That see, that's the thing. And I look now go back now to verse 8, which none of the rulers of his age knew, for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. What am I saying in this? The devil, if he would have known that he was crucifying Jesus, he was setting up his own demise, he was giving the church power, he would have kept Jesus alive. But the devil did not realize that God had redeemed what Jesus did on the cross for all mankind. He was using it to redeem man. He redeemed the suffering to redeem man. And what I mean by redeemed, he used what the devil thought was going to destroy Jesus to actually solidify his own demise and to resurrect the body of Christ and bring people back to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Isn't that so powerful? But it says that in the natural eye, the natural, you know, the natural heart doesn't get it. So what do we do? We pray in the spirit. We pray in the Holy Ghost. Why? Because verse 10 says something very profound as well. But God has revealed them to us through his spirit. For the spirit searches, here we go with it. Remember the word we just read in Romans 8. He searches the mind. He knows what the will of the Father is. For the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of man except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us. By God. That's the reason why you purpose the purpose of fasting and prayer is to crucify the spirit of the world, the things of the world, which caters to the flesh, because the flesh and the world they have a great relationship together. But the Bible says that the carnal mind is enmity with God. It's not subject to the law of God and it can't be subject to the law of God. So it's very important that we understand we've got to get into the spirit. And that's why we fast. But look here in verse number 14, jump down a little bit. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. So that's why many people are discouraged and downtrodden and struggling when they go through 2026. People want to commit suicide and they're all depressed and downtrodden. And why am I going through this and why does this happen? You've got to get the mind of the Lord. It was just over a year ago when all of a sudden I found out where we are wholesale holding church. We couldn't hold it there anymore. We had 30 days to get out. I had no idea where I was going to go. But you know what I did? I realized Romans 8:20. That's my dog. Hey.

Hey, hey, hey, hey. I have to tell my dog no. No. Oh, no, no. No. My dog is barking right there. And somebody in the house just made a big bang. So I didn't know where I was going to be about a year from now. A year ago, I had no idea where I was going to be. And God spoke to me and showed me something. And he said, You're getting ready to walk in a kingdom, economic grace. I had never heard that statement before, never heard those things. But as I prayed in the spirit, the Holy Ghost began to show me that he had a plan. And now we're sitting in a building, and God opened up doors. And I mean, there's a long story. I'm not going to take you through all of that right now. But my point is, I prayed in the spirit, and God began to show me. My wife and I went to pray. We were sitting in Ross Park Mall in the parking lot. And the Holy Ghost dropped something in my spirit. And before I knew it, within a few months, man, we are landed in a place, and God's been doing great things ever since. So I'm saying this to you many times. If you people get discouraged, they're ready to commit suicide, they're ready to throw in the towel, they're ready to quit, all these things because they don't have the mind of the Lord. And what does he say here? The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. He can't know them because they're spiritually discerned. You got to get the mind of the Lord. But he who is spiritual judges all things. Are you following where I'm going with it? You pray in the Holy Ghost to have a spiritual mind. And therefore you can judge things accurately and discern them accurately, the way that you need to. Yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. But look here at verse number 16. It says, For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have what? The mind of Jesus Christ. Do you understand? You have the mind of Christ as a believer in that anything that comes down your path in 2026, as you begin to pray in the Holy Ghost, God will begin to reveal to you the mystery of why you're in what you're in. And what's the mystery? Go back to Romans chapter 8, verse number 28. Look at this here. Let's go back here again. What's the mystery? All things work together. So no matter what you hit in 2026, no matter what you encounter, no matter what you have to walk through, you can intercede and you have based upon the promise that I just read to you in Romans 8.28, that it has to work for me in some capacity. You may not have it all figured out, you may not understand it all in the natural, but as you pray, the mind of the Lord is yours, it will be made known to you. And we pray in the Holy Spirit, we pray in tongues so we might know the will of God in the circumstance and how it's working for us. That's the reason why the Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12, it said, who for the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross and despised the shame. Well, when did he get that? When he was in Gethsemane. When Jesus was in Gethsemane, the Father showed him the other side of the cross. He showed him how it was going to be working for him. He showed the lives, I'm sure, that the lives that were going to be saved and the power over the enemy and resurrection was coming and that he was going to go through this, but God was going to bring him out on the other side, and he was going to come forward with full power and take the keys to death, hell, and the grave. And he saw Peter in the upper room and the Holy Ghost coming down. And he saw all of that. And so as a result of that, he understood how all things were working together. All things were working together for his good. And that's the same thing for you and for me as believers. Now, this is a thing you've got to understand. There may be obstacles that come, but it's working for you. I like to say it like this I am troubles CEO. Just say that right now. I am troubles CEO. Now watch this. And and and now I want you to catch this here because you're troubles CEO and trials and tribulations work for you. Oh, come on, somebody. Just say it with me. I am troubles CEO and trials and tribulations work for me. You got to realize you talk to the trouble that comes your way. Trials and tribulations come, they're working for me in some capacity. You are the CEO of troubles, trials, and tribulations. The trifecta of the enemy always works for you because you are a CEO. I have to come up with CEO, come up with a word real quick. But this is the thing, is that what could be the Christian one? Christian version. Maybe it's a Christian executive officer where you work, all things work together for your good. Come on. Romans 8 28 is going to be in your life in 2026. Hallelujah. Be encouraged because no matter what comes down your path, you can get the mind of the Lord. Never forget that. Never underestimate the power of praying in the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues, interceding, and then allowing the sometimes you may take time and just pray. Intercede until your mind becomes fruitful, until you drive all that stuff away. Sometimes it may take some time before you break through, but keep interceding. Keep praying in the Holy Ghost. We don't do that enough. We don't take enough time to pray in the spirit. I mean, I'm all about sitting. Anybody that knows, you need to sit in God's presence, but there are times you need to intercede as well. You need to pray in the spirit. So then, therefore, your understanding will become fruitful. And then you can know what the mind of the Lord is. And then you know what happens? You can come out of a situation and say, why are you rejoicing? Because I saw the other side of the cross. I saw who for the joy that was set before me endured the cross and despised the shame. You recognize I may have to walk through this. It may be a necessary evil, a necessary trial, a necessary tribulation or trouble. But God has a plan. And when you know the handiwork of God and what's going to happen, everything can be different. It's kind of like when you're watching a movie for the first time and you don't know what the ending is going to be. You know how it is. You don't know what the ending's going to be. And so you're on pins and needles and you're not sure. As a matter of fact, I was I went to a movie uh uh last year, I think it was, uh called The Conclave. If you've never checked it out, it's a phenomenal movie. And the ending, it's funny. We we my wife and I went and we saw it the first time, and we were there, the whole place gasped at the end of the life. Whoa, oh my goodness. And no one saw it coming. And then we went the second time. Watch this. Let me show you what happened when you get the mind of the Lord. When you already know what's coming, even though you see all the situations that leading up to it, you already know what the ending's gonna be. So we looked at each other and said, watch what everybody does. Let's see what everybody does, because we knew what was coming. So it didn't take us by surprise, but everybody else took them by surprise. And so all of a sudden, when it happened, everybody goes, oh, oh, oh, but I had already seen it. Many believers live, well, like I said, it with the irrelevant, oh my goodness, I can't believe it, versus, I knew that was coming. I knew that was coming because they understand that they have the mind of the Lord in their life. And when you have the mind of the Lord, you know the end from the beginning. You know what God is getting ready to do. You know what's about to transpire. You know what's about to come. You know that even though all this stuff is happening and you don't see it, God has already shown you the end from the beginning. So the reality is, this is what I want you to catch. Even as you're moving forward in 2026, no matter what trials come your way, no matter what tribulations come your way, you can intercede and God can show you the end from the beginning. God can show you his will concerning the circumstance that you're in. God's not going to put you in things and leave you completely comfortless. He even said, when he was getting ready to go away, you can read John 14. He said, He said, In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. So he's telling them, I'm going away to prepare a place for you. Don't let your heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid. And he goes on and explains, in my father's house are many mansions. And he's explaining to them saying, Listen, don't worry about it. I got you. I'm going away, I'm gonna be back. He's telling them the end from the beginning. Jesus said, All things from my father I have made known unto you, for you are no longer servants, but now you are friends. Hallelujah. We know we used to sing this song back in day. We have to sing in quite a while. I am a friend of God. He calls me friend. I am a friend of God, he calls me friend. I don't know if y'all remember that song or not, but God calls you friend. What does that mean? That means everything that the Father knows. Jesus said he will make known to us by way of the Holy Spirit. If you want to do a phenomenal study throughout this fast, read John chapter 14, 15, and 16. Phenomenal passages of scripture of how the Holy Spirit is in operation and how he works. I believe that John 14 and 16 are the sandwiches to what God does in 15 with the church, but he's using the power of the Holy Spirit and the person of the Holy Spirit in order to do those things. So I want to encourage you today. No matter what comes your way, Romans 8.28 is going to work for you. Get the mind of the Lord. You can know what the mind of the Father is, and God will supernaturally bless your life. He will blow you away. He will blow you away with what he's going to do. And even if something doesn't look good, find out what the mind of the Lord is. Find out what he's saying. He wants his will to be made known to you. And then as you walk it out, God's going to bless you in a supernatural way. And just like it was in the movie, you'll go, oh my goodness. Everybody else will be doing that. I didn't know they said, I already knew that was coming. I already knew that God was going to do it because he had already showed me. I already knew the mind of the Lord long before it ever happened. So I hope this has been an encouragement to you. I hope that you have been blessed. I hope that it's been edification to you. That even you might be in the middle of something right now. Just take some time, even tonight, and pray in the Holy Spirit. Or whenever you're listening to this, take some time and pray in the Holy Ghost and say, Lord, I don't know how to pray for as I ought, but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for me. So we pray and we intercede. We pray in tongues, and my understanding might be not be fruitful from the jump, but as I intercede, I'm going to know the mind of the Lord, and God will make his will known to you.
